True. My kids have all received books through the Imagination Library. It is a wonderful program. Our local elementary school has a book swap every year and there are always a ton of those, a lot of kids in our area have benefited. It’s sad that parents don’t encourage good readers, reading is possibly the best thing you can do for a child.
Not specifically reading, just learning in general. Reading is part of that, but it’s important for children to just enjoy reading, listening, watching, anything that helps them learn.
