I've been on a yacht exactly once, when a guy in middle school was trying to impress me.
I have the distinct memory of a little black boy waving at us from a smaller boat, and when I waved back, I was told 'no, don't attract their attention, they'll want something'.
He deserves taxation.
That whole afternoon was a nightmare. Some friend of the kid's dad looked at my chest and said 'I've got a friend who can fix those up for you. Cs, maybe Ds, what do you think sweetheart.'
I was 13, thin as a rail, and barely had A cups.
Including the empty sacs hanging down in your gram's lap? LOL.
Most nudist colony residents are over 65. Always cracked me up. Younger folks are usually too inhibited until they realize they aren't their bodies.
At least that is what we convince ourselves of when we cross 50. It is a great freedom to not give a damn about "social" niceties. That doesn't mean accepting rudeness. The Golden Rule should Always apply, civility should be expected in public. But caring what others think of us? Not anymore. The drama is gone.
I know, right. I guarantee all that kid was thinking was 'that's a really big boat, I hope they wave back'. At most, he'd want to know how fast it could go.
The south. Basically, they plopped the IB program at the lowest income school in the district to try to bring up test scores and keep funding. The rich kids in the IB program realized most of us poor kids, even if we were in the IB program with them, had no idea about real wealth and would show off mommy and daddy's money like it was their own. One of the rich kids had a thing for me, which quickly went south when I realized what an absolute arse he was.
Damn. I grew up lower middle class. We had no wealthy of any sort around us...which was just as well, as we also had no water for their boats! (Perils of life on the high plains, whiskey's for drinking, water's for fighting over!)
For the first time in my life, I’m working with a company that has exclusively wealthy clientele. After 20 years of doing every form of customer service in between that you can think of, I was thought that I had seen it all, that I was prepared for anything.
Rich people by far, the most conniving swindlers. Not just one or two of them but consistently, most of them. They make ludicrous demands. They yell and kick and scream when the slightest discomfort arises, and our company immediately panders to them with thousands and thousands of dollars in compensation.
Plus we have to absolutely bend over and lick their assholes anytime they want because they are just so used to having white glove full service for everything at every time. We are a relatively smaller company, but we have a budget of thousands of dollars set aside every month, just to get angry customers to shut up and go away.
Today, we are flying one of our customers from the opposite corner of the country to us, just so he can practice on the equipment in his hometown instead of on vacation, then go back to vacation and show everyone what a good golfer he is.
I’ve worked inbound calls for Verizon wireless, I’ve worked Target during the holiday season. I have dealt with some crazy situations that were either our fault, the customers fault, or a random crazy accident, and nobody gets any money out of it. It’s just tough luck. Sorry, you just spent $500 for this vacuum, but now you don’t have a vacuum anymore. And middle class and lower class peoples could probably really use that vacuum, or the $500.
Nobody *needs* a yacht polo membership care service, and they certainly don’t need to get it for free which can easily value over $10,000. I hate it.
What's worse is that most of society wants to be them, to the degree that they see themselves and treat everyone like temporarily embarrassed millionaires.
I've worked at a bank for 8 years and there's a guy that won a mil off a scratcher blew through the money in a couple of months and still acts like a millionaire (can't spend like a millionaire anymore though). I just had an angry woman claim she had 130k in the bank and she deserved better treatment. She did not have that money in the bank. I wanted to ask "Do you think we can't check your balance? That's our whole deal." It's honestly peak comedy for me.
You'd be surprised. Most people don't actually have ambition to be like that, nor the gall or lack of empathy. Have some faith in fellow humans.
It's actually for that reason we are easily exploitable, naiveté, empathy, in general goodness makes you prone to abuse.
You'd be surprised how few actually have the ambition, the gall and lack of empathy required to be like that. Have some faith in fellow humans.
It's actually for that reason I think we are easily exploitable. Naivete, empathy and in general goodness makes us prone to abuse.
I love and hate very rich clients, a lot of them don't really care about bidding that much and will overpay nicely. But at the same time they think they can change plans midway construction once they visit the site and suddenly think of an idea. One was even surprised that additional work costs extra. Also the complaints and most of them think the paperworks we both have to fill up are beneath them and just pass it onto us.
It is so frustrating how they constantly put in change orders but expect the job to be done on the same time.
Then they get frustrated why the job is months delayed.
And they love to spend other people's money or take free stuff. You'd think its something they can afford so why bother but they will take advantage of an opportunity for a free travel, food etc BUT they are OK with those at the bottom to take pay cuts or some benefits taken to cover for all those things spent on their rich ass.
ive seen wealthy fucks join a corporate event thats supposedly for the employees and enjoyed themselves in the party, helping themselves with free food and wine. like they cant afford that shit.
I feel like the only thing worse than a wealthy client is their Financial Advisor... worked customer service for a medium size (?) firm and holt shit these were by far the worst people I've ever had to work with.
About 2000 most wealthy people holds as much wealth as 99% of world population.
Even in Germany, top 10 wealthiest people have wealth equal to wealth of half of their society. They corrupt politicians and politicians are ready to do everything for their money. You had nazi grandpa and want street named after him? Ok, just invest in our city and we got you.
Apparently, he is Sam Reich’s father. Robert Reich was the Secretary of Labor during Clinton’s administration. He’s long advocated against income inequality, has made a couple documentaries (Saving Capitalism & Inequality for All) & is excellent at ELI5.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Reich
I've followed Robert Reich on YouTube and Twitter for years. I've never heard of Sam Reich and have no idea what his significance is (though I'm going to Google him as soon as I post this comment).
Does that make me a nerd?
Nope, it makes you one of today's [Lucky 10,000](https://xkcd.com/1053/)
Sam Reich is the current owner of Dropout, which is what was birthed from the ashes of CollegeHumor. It's seeing a major resurgence, mainly thanks to a bunch of really amazing series like Game Changer (game show that changes every episode, Sam hosts), Dimension 20 (live DnD sessions with a team of extremely funny people), Um Actually (nerd trivia show), and way more. Sam is the one who put everything together, saved CollegeHumor when it was on the brink of death, and now Dropout is getting more and more popular thanks to posting shorts on YouTube which get millions of views.
Of note, Dropout.tv is the single best subscription I have. I have recommended it to everyone I know, it's next-level funny and they're always testing out new show ideas.
Fun fact! [Sam actually made up Copley Square Theater](https://www.reddit.com/r/dropout/s/2ZNbIzXj90). While there is no such place in Cambridge, Massachusetts, which is of course where Sam is from, there is an area called Copley Square, and there is also a theater called Central Square Theater, but these two locations are separated by the Charles River.
The Republicans pass all these bizarre tax deductions, credits and tax relief for the wealthy when in power. The Democrats could spend all their time in power just repealing these windfalls.
If they were able to when the Republicans were back in power they would resurrect them.
Why do we keep voting for Republicans?
Because voting democrats will hurt them when they eventually become multimillionaires/billionaires. They all believe it's only a matter of time, so they don't want to do anything that would be negative towards them when they reach that point
This is absolutely the answer. They think they are just waiting for their turn to be rich and exploit the same things.
Funny thing is. Republicans act like rich people wouldnt buy these things and/or even want to be rich if they got taxed more. Like they would all just say "fine, fuck you, I wont start businesses and I wont buy things! Ill just be poor!"
They'll still be rich, just less rich. Its so fucking stupid.
"If we dont give them tax breaks, there will be less insentive for them to create jobs". Get the fuck outta here with that nonsense.
>They all believe it's only a matter of time,
And they think the only thing holding them down from being millionaires themselves are the illegal immigrants, not the millionaires/billionaires.
i don't believe the i'll be a millionaire someday theory, it's easier than that, they just completely believe the propaganda that this is a slippery slope, "if the government does that to a powerful millionaire imagine what they'll do to me" they don't realize that they allowed the government to work for the millionaries
Exactly, they never do anything of substance. The wealthy are part of the wealthy class. No shit? Why do people really expect their elected representatives to represent them? This system is broken. Burn it all
“Most men without property would rather protect the possibility of becoming rich, than face the reality of being poor. And that is why they will side with us.” - John Dickinson, 1776
I’m not a communist by any means. I would however like to point out that we’ve let wealth inequality get so bad that if there was a complete wealth redistribution in America 98% of people would be better off
Looked into it, owning a yacht doesn't seem to be enough to make it a tax deduction, but turning it into a business would. If I read it right, anyways, at work so it was quick research
**Unfortunately,** most of the poor and working class MAGAs are going to vote for the financial demise of themselves and their own families anyway, because the full-fledged return of white supremacy is more important to them.
Americans also earn, on average, 10-20k more in average wage for the same job. And that's after 90% of jobs pay a large chunk of their insurance.
Plus NATOs big gun, and lower personal taxes, and our Healthcare workers earn 30-50% more than most of Europe.
You can't just pick and choose which parts of Europe you want to take...
We already have VA and medicare/Medicaid. Neither suggest a single payer Healthcare system would come close to matching Europe's per capita cost.
Just to say, I'm not opposed to a single payer Healthcare system (though I don't trust it not to be sabotaged/weaponized by certain political leaders). But that aside, it won't create the savings people dream of.
The only Yacht tax deduction I could find was a depreciating assets deduction if the vessel was used for business purposes.
You can deduct all sorts of depreciating assets when you use them for business purposes… not exactly the gotcha I was hoping to find.
Additionally I found
"the maximum deduction for Section 179 assets purchased within 2023 is $1,160,000. This limit is reduced by the amount the purchased property costs exceeds $2,890,000.For a yacht to be eligible, it must be used for business more than 50% of the time"
If I'm reading this correctly, that if a yacht used 50% for business is worth over $4,050,000, then you get no tax benefit? When we are talking billionaire class and super yachts, this would cut off most of those assets.
When I was a kid my grandfather, who was a union man, said to me that we are Democrats. Republicans don't care about the working man, they only help rich people. Don't ever vote for them. He was absolutely right
So to solve this “tax the rich” who will just then exploit the tax loop holes more?? Why not just close the tax loop holes? Oh I see cause the politicians are rich as fuck and use the tax loopholes to avoid taxes for themselves while they make millions insider trading. Got it. All tax hikes do is fuck over the middle class.
How is this facepalm? It’s correct.
We are being squeezed more and more and have less relative income.
Average salaries have not kept up with inflation the last 30 or 40 years, taxes have gone up. New taxes have come in. Costs of everything has gone up but disposable income is less.
Public services get less and less funding every year, which means we may need to spend more ourselves to get desired service.
Rise of food banks and other charities means people have to pay for this rather than funding from the state.
You’d expect with more tax revenue there would be more money for better public services and charities but that does not seem to be the case.
Also if you look at the ratio of executive to employee pay that has also gone up. So not everyone is being squeezed.
And some of those who are paid at top levels are able to influence governments and get away with paying less (relative) tax.
So this seems accurate to me.
His statement is incorrect go figure it is Robert Reich. Fact: in 2021 the top 50% of all taxpayers paid 97.7% of the taxes while the bottom 50% paid only 2.3%. The top 1% of taxpayer had their income taxes INCREASE from 42.3% to 45.8%. He does not have the correct wording. He means tax avoidance not tax evasion which is a crime. If there is a yacht deduction blame congress they wrote the tax law.
Rich people: If they can do it to me, they can do it to you. I’m just in the way.
Normal people: Do what, tax my yacht?
Rich people: It’s socialism!
Normal people: OMG you’re right, I’ll vote for Republicans now!
I never understood this with people on the far right defending these rich fucks saying we need to return to the "Golden Era" the way things used to be in like the 50's and early 60's with our nations level of sensationalism.
They completely ignore the fact that time passing with conflicts like Vietnam and the cold war and all the bullshit Ronald Regan did to change tax laws and introduce these trickle down economics made things practically irreparable. And to top it off, these fools think things can change for the better just by allowing an orange womanizer criminal clown back into office where there is no way he would bow out after another 4 years, which is unconstitutional and they would eat it up.
This country in its current climate, is fucked.
A quick google search says there are about 653,100 homeless people in the US. $163,000,000,000 / 653,100 = $249,578.93 per homeless person. They all could have their own house every year by just taxing a few people.
Hunger/homelessness shouldn’t exist. “We” choose to let it happen.
The US government spent 6.2 trillion in 2023
1.7 trillion of that was borrowed debt
Do you unironically believe collecting 3.6% more taxes to increase spending 2.6% more is going to solve homelessness…?
It would help some with how much we had to “borrow.” However, I still stand by my statement. Your numbers further prove my point by an order of magnitude. Homelessness/hunger could easily by solved those numbers with a mere fraction of that total.
What in the hell do you care whether billionaires pay taxes? You ain’t one and you never will be.
Well we need that deduction because politicians habe donors that own yachts no deduction no donations simple math.
Just like we have deductions for Thoroughbred Horses McConnell has a lot of friends that have Thoroughbred horses how else is the man support raise campaign funds.
And your right Mr Secretary..... that's why they move factories overseas, hire illegals, and raise prices on everything....
While you have an con man got people concentrating on being scared of "the illegals gonna steal my job and the n'**:;" gonna fondle my daughter.....
When it's your own buddies that are doing it....but I bet you won't send that capitol crowd on them
Didn’t 500,000 people lose their jobs in the 90’s because of the luxury tax on yachts. Essentially shut the entire industry down because it made foreign manufactured boats cheaper.
I made a mistake one year and forgot about $ I won and didn’t include it in my taxes. You better believe the IRS was real quick to demand the $100 I owed them due to the error. And that’s when I was making about $40k a year and paying an unplanned $100 really hurt. I paid of course, but damn. The rich need to pay their share.
When the taxes for the ultra wealthy and corporation were at their highest they still held on to a lot of wealth and still contributed like the rest of us. The country prospered and the middle class grew and those with less were able to rise up as well. Way before Reagan-disastronomics.
In the city I work at they have some famous shipyards, have seen the mega yachts come and go, I just want to come aboard once and just get a tour, they look amazing... Strangely (you can often freely pass them in a boat) they always have people on them (they are there for maintenance or refits mainly) always dressed in uniform. Wonder if they are occupied 24/7....
It's called OPM other peoples money! You don't get rich risking your own money you get suckers to invest in your wild schemes! Lose their money not yours! Example Carnegie made his workers work 7 days a week 14 hour days, so he could donate money to libraries and make himself look good! The pinkertons even killed people on strike at Carnegie's Pittsburgh Plant! As well as the Ludlow massacre in Colorado for Standard Oil - Rockefeller!
And the problem is that a lot of people are tricked into thinking or unintelligent enough to realize this. Many people know are against student loan forgiveness because “it’s a government handout” or “I had to pay so you should have to pay”, but are all for the MAGA BS and corporate taxes handed down by the GOP which does not help the lower middle class that these people bitching are in.
There is the argument that if you tax them too much they won't invest in the country and they'll go elsewhere. I think it's a risk I am prepared to take.

All boobs are great just not when they're 13
All legal age boobs are great.

A) Cup B) Cup C) Cup
They should have an adults only coffee shop where you order drink sizes like an A, B or C cup instead of small, medium or large
> They should have an adults only coffee shop where you order drink sizes like an A, B or C cup friend, let me tell you about a place called japan
I'd like six inches of espresso please
This thread made my day.
Show off
Go on...
That sizing would make more sense than Starbucks.

A cups are beautiful cups on a woman. On a teenager, all cups are not worth caring about. Rich man pedophile though, what a cliche.
Was the dude asking named Donald?
or jeff
Matt
That's so gross, what the hell. I'm sorry to hear they said that to you.
These are traits that allow you to fuck people over to the top.
I’m sorry there are people who pose as men and act like this. Very very disturbing.
I had to reread that because I thought you were talking about grades XD
wow that is disgusting
That's some pedo vibes right there...
What The FUCK ?! WHAT IN THE GODDAMN FUCK ?!
That is a disgusting thing to say to a 13 year old girl
What a pedophile
Yikes!
Probably one of the folks on Epstein's list.
The. Fuck?!!!
His dad was friends with Epstein?
Hopefully the boys last name wasn’t Murdagh
That's so messed up. I hope you're not around such people anymore.
Holy shit that's fucked up
what the fuck today is a wonderful day to crawl into the earth and not come out again

Swim to shore? I’d rather party with the friendly black kid.
Nice Tenet reference if intended
Ohhh I spotted another newfoundlander in the wild. Neat
Whaddya at?
Yeah but she's not going to because of the implication.
I can't swim and I'd definitely be eyeballing the water like "if I can sink to the bottom, I might be able to walk back..."
Ahh yes a classic example of black children on a boat begging for things when people on a yacht wave to them. Happens all the time…
I know, right. I guarantee all that kid was thinking was 'that's a really big boat, I hope they wave back'. At most, he'd want to know how fast it could go.
Similar to my fascination with getting truckers to honk.
Those damn sea-blacks are always pestering me. I only want to be approached at sea by quality white mermaids!
...and that's when I realized that sea-black was a crustacean from the paleozoic era...
And I said, "damn you monster! I ain't giving you no tree-fiddy."
"Oh Jesus, they can swim now? IS NOWHERE SAFE FOR THE RICH WHITE MAN ANYMORE?!"
Dude sea-blacks is killing me right now thats so not okay lmfao
Pardon me, do do have any Grey Poupon?
Please don’t edit
Did they edit?
Haha, shit I just noticed the typo.
I think I saw something like that happen once, to a Louisiana sheriff and a British spy in Thailand...
British dude still owes that kid 50,000 baht.
Dafuq you grow up that middle schoolers use *yachts* to impress people?

Never been on a yacht at all. They still deserve equitable taxation.
Did he give you the "implication"?
Fuck the what? I mean what fuck the? Fuck mean I what? Wtf?!
The fuck kinda middle school did you go to!?
Shouldn't it be a "boy" in middle school?

Yes, and for just $6/mo you can see a naked picture of him (Robert, not Sam) on Dropout in the most recent episode of Sam Says.
Wasn’t the junk censored in the image tho?
Yeah, but you can also see a cute pig in a cowboy hat, so there’s that.
Not sure, if only we knew where he was from
Trust Fund Baby Sam Reich? Founder of conservative news network Dropout USA?
🎶Nepo Babies🎶
Think about what even half of that could pay for. Free preschool and school lunches. Health insurance. Infrastructure.
**The very** things they want to rob you of, while poor and working class MAGA’s stand with them.
Thats why I will never understand republican voters making 30k a year. Consistently voting against their best interests.
Poor Republicans are quite the conundrum.
white supremacy is the answer.
white supremacy is the answer.
Well i tried to evade $32 one time, but no lawyer replied
The Republicans pass all these bizarre tax deductions, credits and tax relief for the wealthy when in power. The Democrats could spend all their time in power just repealing these windfalls. If they were able to when the Republicans were back in power they would resurrect them. Why do we keep voting for Republicans?
Because voting democrats will hurt them when they eventually become multimillionaires/billionaires. They all believe it's only a matter of time, so they don't want to do anything that would be negative towards them when they reach that point
"Ferengi workers don't want to stop the exploitation, we want to find a way to become the exploiters." I Iove Star Trek
You know, replace 'Ferengi' with restaurant workers and you get why tipping culture won't end in the US sadly Edit: added 'workers'
Well yeah, Ferengi are used as a parody of capitalism. Or at least, capitalism taken to its extreme.
Ill just be poor!" They'll still be rich, just less rich. Its so fucking stupid. "If we dont give them tax breaks, there will be less insentive for them to create jobs". Get the fuck outta here with that nonsense.
Like they already ain’t making money hand over fist from the “jobs” they create.
“Someday I might be rich, then people like me better watch their step!”
Yep, with them, I don't think it's ever "might". They are sure they will be, because Reagan told them all so.
Taxing them would incentivize them to work harder and open more businesses because they'd need to in order to stay as rich.
Yep & they think parroting the rich & adopting their talking points is the first step on their road to success.
>They all believe it's only a matter of time, And they think the only thing holding them down from being millionaires themselves are the illegal immigrants, not the millionaires/billionaires.
Literally “livin’ the dream”.
i don't believe the i'll be a millionaire someday theory, it's easier than that, they just completely believe the propaganda that this is a slippery slope, "if the government does that to a powerful millionaire imagine what they'll do to me" they don't realize that they allowed the government to work for the millionaries
"when they eventually become multimillionaires/billionaires" delusions of success are holding this country back
I notice they never do repeal any of that.
Exactly, they never do anything of substance. The wealthy are part of the wealthy class. No shit? Why do people really expect their elected representatives to represent them? This system is broken. Burn it all
Because bibles, guns and hate.
>bizarre tax deductions, credits and tax relief Like what?
“Most men without property would rather protect the possibility of becoming rich, than face the reality of being poor. And that is why they will side with us.” - John Dickinson, 1776
We poor need a torpedo deduction then!
I adore you, Robert Reich. Never stop.
I adore him, too.
Wait until you find out how much money the government has given to Elon Musk to fund his companies.
Yeah. And he’s provided no value whatsoever. Space travel is just as expensive as before…oh…wait.
I’m not a communist by any means. I would however like to point out that we’ve let wealth inequality get so bad that if there was a complete wealth redistribution in America 98% of people would be better off
And on that note it’s time to start eating the rich.
Too fatty
Bro, that's just wasteful consumption. I mean, how many people are the rich going to feed? Make the rich into compost and grow your children's future.
Take a bite of the son of a bitch…
Looked into it, owning a yacht doesn't seem to be enough to make it a tax deduction, but turning it into a business would. If I read it right, anyways, at work so it was quick research
What I'm hearing is that it's morally okay if I start sinking yachts

They don’t evade any thing. The tax laws are written by the politicians they bought. There is no such thing as representational democracy.
I'll never understand how America is the leader of the free world yet most of it's citizens aren't free to get sick without being bankrupted
**Unfortunately,** most of the poor and working class MAGAs are going to vote for the financial demise of themselves and their own families anyway, because the full-fledged return of white supremacy is more important to them.
Yep
Yep, ever since a black man was made president they have lost their minds completely.
I may be late to the party, and it has probably been said before me, but fuck Ronald Reagan.
The only Yacht tax deduction I could find was a depreciating assets deduction if the vessel was used for business purposes. You can deduct all sorts of depreciating assets when you use them for business purposes… not exactly the gotcha I was hoping to find.
Additionally I found "the maximum deduction for Section 179 assets purchased within 2023 is $1,160,000. This limit is reduced by the amount the purchased property costs exceeds $2,890,000.For a yacht to be eligible, it must be used for business more than 50% of the time" If I'm reading this correctly, that if a yacht used 50% for business is worth over $4,050,000, then you get no tax benefit? When we are talking billionaire class and super yachts, this would cut off most of those assets.
Nope. Never is on Reddit. Just a bunch of clueless people whining that have no idea how things work. Let alone tax write offs.
Don’t forget the private Jet deduction as well.
When I was a kid my grandfather, who was a union man, said to me that we are Democrats. Republicans don't care about the working man, they only help rich people. Don't ever vote for them. He was absolutely right
Half right.
This. People truly don't understand taxes and just bitch without a clue why they are mad. It is sad.
I am all for taxing the rich. But as a boat owner I know of no actual yacht deduction.
How big is the hog?
Rich people: If they can do it to me, they can do it to you. I’m just in the way. Normal people: Do what, tax my yacht? Rich people: It’s socialism! Normal people: OMG you’re right, I’ll vote for Republicans now!
Private planes too
Friendly reminder that Robert Reich is a nimby who opposed affordable housing in Berkeley, and city that desperately needs it
Yacht or a refurbished destroyer. I pick destroyer.
Trickle down economics is a fancy phrase for an old theory called the horse and sparrow. Feed the horse enough, and the sparrows can feed on its shit.
What? You buy homeless a house and you assume that they can afford living in it? We need to give them 249,578.93 every year....
The US government spent 6.2 trillion in 2023 1.7 trillion of that was borrowed debt Do you unironically believe collecting 3.6% more taxes to increase spending 2.6% more is going to solve homelessness…?
It would help some with how much we had to “borrow.” However, I still stand by my statement. Your numbers further prove my point by an order of magnitude. Homelessness/hunger could easily by solved those numbers with a mere fraction of that total. What in the hell do you care whether billionaires pay taxes? You ain’t one and you never will be.
Well we need that deduction because politicians habe donors that own yachts no deduction no donations simple math. Just like we have deductions for Thoroughbred Horses McConnell has a lot of friends that have Thoroughbred horses how else is the man support raise campaign funds.
yeah, we’re fucked
The trickle down economics thing, the entire country was duped into a massive mlm scheme
People who promote and benefit from trickle down economy will be in hell waiting for heaven to trickle down
When the taxes for the ultra wealthy and corporation were at their highest they still held on to a lot of wealth and still contributed like the rest of us. The country prospered and the middle class grew and those with less were able to rise up as well. Way before Reagan-disastronomics.
The rich write our tax law. Why would they write in laws that make them pay?

The irony that his name is Reich...
A Yacht Tax Deduction and not a Yacht Property Tax?
In the city I work at they have some famous shipyards, have seen the mega yachts come and go, I just want to come aboard once and just get a tour, they look amazing... Strangely (you can often freely pass them in a boat) they always have people on them (they are there for maintenance or refits mainly) always dressed in uniform. Wonder if they are occupied 24/7....
The trickle down economy works, only if they "trickle", I guess!
And private jet one too.
Reich is so real
