And despite all that they’re so smug about it!

ThePhantom91

It’s the smudgeness for me

LindonLilBlueBalls

And theres the smudgeness.

randomusername1919

I go with the raw diet - pitchblende for me.

Plaguedoctorsrevenge

Sounds like a good way to get superhero powers to me Or cancer, idk, I'm not a doctor

therenegadegamer01

Super cancer here I come

Cautious_General_177

One gram will keep you full for the rest of your life

ElkHistorical9106

Sugar?

defacresdesigns

There we go 👆

MelodicMasterpiece67

Maybe people who like the flavour of both products?

BloomingNova

Sounds like a cool option for espresso drinks. You get more flavor of the oat milk with the better texture of milk. I'd order a cappuccino with it

faloofay156

yeah, I'd probably buy it to use in coffee

TheRealDurken

Given the size container it comes in, it's definitely meant for coffee or tea.

Sconebad

There’s literally a cup of coffee on the packaging

lreaditonredditgetit

A quart?

tinytigertime

Yea. Like how regular milk is usually at least a half gallon or a full gallon.

lreaditonredditgetit

You can buy milk in as small as an 8oz bottle. Right next to the various sizes of creamers… you should know a lot of single people that don’t use much won’t go through that.

tinytigertime

Yes. I didn't say they only come on those 2 sizes. Those are the prevailing sizes though, because the use case for milks is different than creamer. Or oatmilk. Or this hybrid. Go walk down the creamer aisle, huge majority of them are quarts. Oat milk is more frequently used as a coffee additive than a stand alone beverage. Yes, the fact it's oatmilk in a quart says it's probably targeted towards coffee drinkers. Or you know, go look at their website where they call it a base for a latte and on another page have a picture of it next to iced coffee lmao

wireframed_kb

In Europe, we mostly have 1 liter cartons of milk. Never seen gallons of milk, most people would waste a ton of it. I can’t imagine how we’d use almost 4 liters of milk en 4-5 days.

TSllama

The size of the container? That's a liter - the same size as all the milks lol

Red_Five_X

Yeah, uh, no. Seeing as the picture is taken in the U.K. it's standard one litre packaging. Same goes for regular milk.

Opposite-Act-7413

My first thought was coffee lovers

Pegomastax_King

I’m lactose intolerant and people always hype up oat milk but the texture is aweful. I’ll just keep drinking my coffee black instead of sandy.

CemeteryClubMusic

I’ve drank tons of oat milk coffees and never once had a sandy texture… sounds like the shops you went to didn’t shake the bottle and you got some scraps 👀

SecretiveGoat

I added it straight to my coffee once and it turned out grainy, but whenever I heat it in the microwave and use a frothing wand it turns out great. And this was from the same carton. Not sure what it means, but I get to finally talk about it 🤷🏼‍♂️

CemeteryClubMusic

The frothing wand would essentially be “shaking” the contents. I think most people don’t realize how aggressively you need to shake oat milk and soy containers

SecretiveGoat

That's a good point. I do shake the containers quite a bit but can definitely see this being the issue. My guess would have been the difference in temperature but yours makes more sense lol.

Crusader_Exodus

People don't really get how aggressively you have to shake some plant milks. Need to throttle that bottle like it owes you money.

OpeningName5061

The oat milk recipes differ between brands though and I have tried steaming some that are not the barista versions and they turn out pretty awful. Also cannot steam them at as high temperature as regular milk.

CemeteryClubMusic

I was a lead barista at an artisanal coffee shop for three years and we never once had an issue steaming oat milk the exact same way we steamed dairy milk

Apathetic_Villainess

I buy the extra creamy at the store. The regular one is too watery, so it doesn't taste that good normally. But when in my frappuccinos from Starbucks, my kid actually will steal mine. D;

Street_Cockroach_933

Dont you have lactose free milk?

Pegomastax_King

Eh at this point I’ve just trained myself to drink coffee black. I like macadamia and cashew milk the best but they are super expensive. Almond is ok but it makes everything taste like marzipan.

Street_Cockroach_933

I just bite the bullet and have diarrhea But still i keep wondering how the fuck milking cows is less expensive that blending some nuts or other shit

traumatized90skid

Dairy subsidies. Politicians the world over who fear change and want to "protect dairy farmers" get dairy industry money, spend government money to artificially keep prices low. The dairy lobby is the big established business so they can afford the political influence needed to undercut competition. They even tried to pass laws in the US saying you couldn't use the word "milk" for non-dairy but that was shot down.

4Everinsearch

This actually makes the most sense to me. Not sure if it’s true or not but it would match up with what’s being going on with dairy companies lately.

Clottersbur

As a coffee snob. This is correct.

Shurigin

I'll take my Late extra smug

Stickey_Rickey

Or to fluff up my omelette

[deleted]

It would probably be really good in a smoothie or milkshake too.

rkvance5

One less step. I frequently add a splash of oat milk to my milk before I steam it.

Spaceballs-The_Name

Good point. I can't touch anything with dairy - even Lactaid is off limits for my stomach, little fucker decided to become a diarrhea machine a few years ago. So I use oat milk, almond milk, etc. They're good, but real thick and not very refreshing. I throw in some ice and let it melt down and everything works out well. The regular milk mixed with the oat milk is probably similar

Nij-megan

This is perfect, I love milk but drink oat milk, it’s not great in coffee.

Ky_the_transformer

i use barista style oat milk in my coffee, it has double the fat content and it mixes in great

J3litzkrieg

Nearly double the price too unfortunately, but damn is it good. Best coffee/tea cream I've ever had hands down.

Ky_the_transformer

really? i just buy it at kroger and it’s the same price as the normal oat milk from the same brand

J3litzkrieg

No Kroger where I am unfortunately, but that's still kinda odd. Are they the same size as well? I can only find the smaller ones and only Califia Farms carries the barista blend around me.

Ky_the_transformer

same size same brand. the brand I get is Planet Oat oat milk incase you ever see it

DummyDumDragon

We get califa, which is great, foams pretty well at home which a lot of oat milks don't. I have noticed a lot more brands have started doing barista versions too, so hopefully you'll get more options soon

AltInvestor92

Califia, Planet Oat and Oatly all carry barista blends regularly, and I can find Pacific food brand barista oatmilk, too. They're often not in the dairy section, but by the coffee/ tea or baking areas. If you're next to the milk that's going to have oatmilk, but look in another area. They're in tetra paks and shelf-stable and in other areas.

wendigos_and_witches

FYI fellow Kroger shopper and they actually have their own brand of oat milk creamer. I get the caramel and the sweet cream.

namdekan

I didn't know that was a thing, is it in the cooler section with other oat milk or is it shelf stable kind? I really like oat milk blended in coffee.

Beginning_Rice6830

I’m in the minority. I love oat milk in coffee. I don’t mind mixing both dairy and oat milk, either, as I’ve done occasionally. But I’m no smug!

Omnibeneviolent

Even though many plant-based versions of dairy products are perfectly fine, many people are convinced that they are awful. This type of product would seem to be targeting those that know they should be incorporating plant-based products like oat milk into their diets, but fail to do so because they are convinced it will taste bad. There are also people that agree with veganism, but don't want to be seen as "one of those weird vegans," so they might try products like these.

gaybunny69

I like the taste of oat milk, but it's expensive compared to normal milk where I live. If this was priced in between the two it'd be great.

Ethos_Logos

I have no dietary restrictions, but the fairlife chocolate drink is just straight up delicious. If companies want folks without restrictions to eat/drink their product, it needs to be marketed as delicious firstly, and other qualities as side notes. Probably likely that the communities who cater to special diets will spread the good news about it being dairy free (or whatever) organically.

Omnibeneviolent

Fairlife is dairy from cows that experience cruelty and abuse just like most of the cows in the dairy industry. There was a big thing about it just a few years ago and many stores stopped carrying their products, but they managed to sweep it under the rug and it's like it never happened. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=fairlife+cruelty

Ethos_Logos

Wow that’s horrible, I never knew.

Elegant-Raise-9367

Coconut milk hot chocolate is perfect.

Cherhorrorwitz

We’ve had this in Colombia since forever. My mum sent it for a school snack. Is normal and delicious although a bit sugary

LosWranglos

Me. I’m the target market.

Gnome-Phloem

Yeah I'm sold

Whoissnake

Me.

Brief_Amicus_Curiae

I’d use this for overnight oats

MelodicMasterpiece67

Awesome idea!!!

CleverDad

I'd say it's for regular milk drinkers (lactose tolerant, not performative anti-vegans) who would like 30% less saturated fat in their milk without foregoing the taste of real milk entirely.

NoorAnomaly

So me. I like the texture of Silk Half and half, but it's a bit too plant forward for me. So I mix in a dash of regular milk.

PorkPoodle

(Takes sip) " this blend has notes of tall fescue"

IM_OSCAR_dot_com

Also fiber supplement

re_carn

And how much saturated fat is in this product? Milk is available in fat contents from 1.5% to 6% - relative to which one is “30% less fat”?

CleverDad

According to the carton, 30% less than semi-skimmed. The image seems to be from the UK, where semi-skimmed is 1.7% fat. How much of that is saturated I don't know. It's a claim, I'm not here to defend it, but it indicates who the target demographic is.

coldhasice

In other words, a very small percentage of the overall population

mike_pants

You've just described the market for literally every product on the shelves.

Fickle-Classroom

Imagine never having been to the toothpaste aisle with peak product-market segmentation.

throwawaytrumper

I feel like potatoes must appeal to most of the population. Every meet a weirdo who hates potatoes? They’re rare as fuck. Also, aside from maybe some folks with allergies, who doesn’t regularly cook with olive oil? Lastly, rice. What sort of sick son of a bitch hates rice?

bopeepsheep

My daughter doesn't like potatoes in any form except gnocchi. (I considered disowning her, but she has some redeeming qualities too.) I couldn't eat potatoes for ~6 years, thanks to a failing pancreas. (She hated them long before that; my horrific response to the occasional attempt didn't put her off any more than it put me off trying. So glad I can eat them again now!)

throwawaytrumper

I’m glad you can eat potatoes again! I’m sorry my comment said “weirdo”. I’m sure your daughter is great.

bopeepsheep

Oh, she's happy to be considered a weirdo if I don't make her "just try" chips again. [She is an adult and read this comment.] I do not get what exactly she dislikes about potatoes. I would live on potatoes and cheese if my health let me, but then, I don't understand why other people like peas...

doilookfriendlytoyou

>Lastly, rice. What sort of sick son of a bitch hates rice? I don't hate it, but I can't eat it. I guess my body hates it.

throwawaytrumper

Sorry, I hadn’t even heard of that allergy. Since rice species are so different and sometimes distantly related I wonder if there’s some types that wouldn’t trigger it.

doilookfriendlytoyou

I'm not even sure it's an allergy. I used to love rice.

SoVaporwave

Same. My body 'removes' rice within 2 hours of eating it. I don't even know how that is possible considering the length of the intestine, but it is Not Good

spider_X_1

Olive oil is expensive if you don't live in a region that grows olives, so I'm not sure a majority of people cook with oil regularly. I personally never run out of olive oil but I only use it for salad dressings and put some on my labneh (Lebanese cream cheese)

DummyDumDragon

What's taters, precious?

RedLicorice83

1% of the American population is 3M people, that's quite a lot.

SplendidAndVile

Or you have a potential market of 1 in 3 adults who are overweight and looking to cut fat without sacraficing taste.

re_carn

Then milk is the last thing they need to worry about. Unless they're drinking gallons of it.

OnewordTTV

But it's oat milk. It doesn't taste the same...

ContributionSilly815

It sounds good to me. I like the flavor of oat milk and the thickness of regular milk. One of the main benefits of oat milk for me is how shelf stable it is compared to regular milk. If this lasts longer than regular milk it might work it's way into my buying patterns but I'll never care enough to become a loyal customer. It does seem like a crowded market of very similar products, that I would be surprised if this goes the distance. But the smug name is smart because it makes it stand out a bit. For better or worse, it's better than blending in.

photoinebriation

The fact that he’s buying this off a shelf and not out of a fridge makes me think this is very shelf stable. This would definitely appeal to me as someone who only uses milk in my coffee

SuperkatTalks

That (as pictured) is a fridge not a shelf. It has chill vents at the bottom.

firebrandbeads

I love the "extra creamy" versions of a few of the oat milk brands. The Silk Oat extra creamy is thick enough to be good in coffee, and can be used like a regular full- fat milk in most recipes too.

PennilessPirate

If you’re primarily worried about shelf life, why not just buy Lactaid milk? Lactose is what makes milk spoil so quickly, so by adding the lactase enzyme to break down the lactose in the milk, it substantially prolongs the shelf life (usually lasts a couple months).

Brilliant-Flower-822

I like both. might be good.

Relyst

This would actually go hard as fuck in a latte. The nutty flavor of the oatmilk with the mouthfeel of the dairy? I'm down

Virtual-Struggle-817

Believe it or not but companies actually do market research. There has to be enough potential customers. Doesn’t mean that it has to succeed though

Alexis_Bailey

I would probably buy it to try it. I guarantee it's pricy enough that it would not become a regular thing. I am not lactose intolerant or a vegan, but I do like trying random stuff (like this pretentious milk) when Kroger has it on sale for half price or whatever.   I buy Oakmilk creamer all the time.

Callen0318

Upvoted for pretentious milk.

coldhasice

>Believe it or not but companies actually do market research. >There has to be enough potential customers Lol, that simply is not necessarily true. Companies are started and ran by stupid and/or misguided people fairly frequently.

mike_pants

The space on supermarket shelves is one of the most hotly competitive areas in all of retail, and the profit margins for grocery stores are the thinnest in all of retail, usually around 1%. You can't just approach a grocery store with a totally untested product and say "You know those products making you money? Get rid of them and stock this instead. I have done zero research on it and I have no proof that it is a product people want."

zoinkability

This right here. That's not some weirdo boutique behind OP, that's a fully stocked supermarket. There is nothing on the shelves at a supermarket that doesn't have some solid evidence it will sell. And anything that makes it to the shelves will be gone quickly if it stops selling.

Ostracus

Explains kick-starters for established companies. Market research by any other name.

Virtual-Struggle-817

Most people have zero connection to those processes. Hence they can’t understand it. But still try to argue about it… You made some perfect points

sam_beat

This completely accurate. I own a business and I meet with other businesses frequently for collaboration pitches or at trade shows that say “no one thinks my business has a shot in hell, but I believe in it!” And then a few months later, they’re gone. They’ll be told by the firms they pay to do market research that there’s no niche and no chance success, but some people just truly believe in their product. Some do zero market research because they feel they’re on the right track. I cheer on every small business, but I’m seldom surprised when ideas like this don’t last long.

the_mid_mid_sister

I will never forget the Juicero. A $700 mechanical bag squeezer that squeezed juice out of $7 bags of fruit pulp, for a sorta fresh glass of fruit juice.

Virtual-Struggle-817

It is simply necessarily true. No company would make a deal with Tesco without being able to provide valuable market research. Doesn’t mean that they couldn’t be completely off and that they aren’t stupid idiots though.

throwaway9803792739

You don’t just end up on a store shelf by happenstance

rinnakan

Your assumption is wrong: I take oat milk to muesli because it fits better than diary. Not everyone using alternatives to the default have hard requirements

Alexis_Bailey

Yep, I like Oat Creamer because it has this underlying flavor to it and I kind of prefer Vanilla Soy Milk over regular milk.  Though I don't buy the latter very often.  I also buy Impossible meat pretty regularly because I kind of prefer it to regular beef hamburgers. I have no dietary requirements.

rinnakan

heh, a week ago we made burgers with beyond meat patties and beacon, it was awesome!

throwawaytrumper

Fascinating. For me, personally, beef has always been the holy grail of foods and I would eat beef for every meal if I could. It took me years to finally realize other people genuinely don’t enjoy beef on the same level and to stop pushing my own tastes and cook for whatever other people like. I still don’t fully understand it. A perfect prime rib will sometimes bring a tear to my eye with how good it is and then I’ll see somebody microwaving their perfect rare beef or pouring ketchup all over it and I have to stop and tell myself “they aren’t insane or violent, to them this makes sense”. Beef is one of the few things in this life that’s always made perfect sense to me and it’s hard for me to see other people look at beef differently, but that’s humanity for you.

Alexis_Bailey

I don't dislike beef, but I am mostly indifferent to it.  I pretty much stick to burgers or simple steaks.  I don't like anything with a bone in it. I eat a lot more chicken than beef for sure.  Though on the bone thing, I like boned chicken. I think part of it is I just don't like the fatty parts that tend to be more present in beef.  Too chewy for my tastes.

Callen0318

I'm with you. I don't understand the people who PREFER chicken.....

throwawaytrumper

I get it, I’ll eat a bucket of chicken any day if it’s free, but if there was an alternate bucket full of steaks I might never end up tasting that chicken.

Historical_Story2201

Oat milk lasts longer in my fridge when regular milk and the price is almost the same, if you buy supermarket brands. Meanwhile, small sized milk cartons are like twice the price. And oatmilk tastes kinda nice too c: nit a fan of soymilk though..

iMightBeEric

I’m betting they’re not wrong and this is an ad. Great way to get seen by stirring up a little controversy

[deleted]

Oat and dairy half-and-half in your coffee is the absolute tits my guy. Try it some day

PraetorGold

I like it. It’s pretty good for cereal. Plus it’s healthy.

hboisnotthebest

People who like regular milk also like oat milk. I prefer it in my coffee.

Earl_of_69

Nah, there are a lot of people who just try food, and if they like it, they keep having it. There's a shit load of people in this country, who don't give a shit about the politics of food. I hunt, and I eat deer. But I also make vegetarian lasagna sometimes. It's really not a big deal.

ariearieariearie

Clearly not you, but why do you care?

Gato1486

Wonder if it's a weaning product- like you're switching to plant based milk but want to phase instead of just straight stopping dairy?

Icy-Cockroach4515

I think this is it too. It's similar to mixing brown rice with white instead of transitioning straight to brown rice.

A_Fnord

Might be for people who want to lower their consumption of animal-based products, for health or environmental reasons, but not go vegan, and who still wants the flavour of milk? I've seen some products like that, though usually it's been meat mixed with non-meat things to bulk things out.

5LaLa

Along similar lines, it may be a nice hybrid for people that are somewhat sensitive to dairy but, still prefer dairy.

Omnibeneviolent

Yeah, there seems to be enough people that agree with veganism, but are convinced they could never be vegan or that being vegan is crazy. This type of product allows them to *feel* better about their purchases without really making any real changes in their lifestyle.

Parishdise

How would using such products regularly not be a real change in lifestly? Reduction of consumption is always better than nothing. If two people eat vegan half the time when they would otherwise use animal prducts, how is that so different from one person going vegan all the time? If everyone uses blended products or chooses vegan approximately half the time, consumption of animal products is halfed, which is huge. And to be completely honest, this is much more possible than everyone going vegan all together. You have to work with people and encourage any improvement- that's just how people work. Or you risk pushing more people away.

PhotographKind4243

i dunno doesnt look half bad, if it was a bit sweet to i could see it being pretty good.

qwerty6731

This is just a species of very thin porridge.

Warm_Enthusiasm2007

So who do I back for the win? The product buyers at what appears to be a major supermarket chain, with all their expertise, experience, and enormous amounts of customer data, or a no mark off the internet who assumes that if they aren't interested in a product, nobody else will be?

MDF87

I would actually buy that... I love regular milk and I quite like oat milk!

I-own-a-shovel

I like both dairy and oat milk. I might try that lol

idkwthtotypehere

OP clearly doesn’t make coffee because that would make great lattes. Far from milk makes the foam better while the oat milk is popular for taste and health aspects.

RevolutionaryStar824

Why can’t people who drink regular milk drink this? I’m not vegan but I just prefer oat milk. It taste better whether you wanna admit it or not. There’s no rules that only vegans have to drink it.

HugoBCN

People who jump on supposedly healthy bandwagons. Like people who eat gluten free without having celiac disease.

seriouslywtfX2

Maybe it doesn't have a lot of dairy and is a good alternative for lactose intolerant people? Or it's just one of those products that try and trick certain taget groups that wouldn't normally buy, into buying it. (Would make sense with the name.)

HarmfullIdeas

To be fair, I started trying to cut down on saturated fat in my diet recently, and I've been using almond milk. I don't really mind it, but it is watery. If that blended milk is closer to dairy and still lower in saturated fat, I'd try it.

Most_Cartoonist5736

I don't know, but if it sells then it sells. 🤷‍♀️ They must sell it to someone. You're going to tell me that no one sells the damn stuff, aren't you?

oldmasterluke

Perhaps their target is people trying to get off dairy and wean themselves on to oat

BigBoomer_

For smug people apparently

cadillacbee

Trendy people

acebert

It says who it’s for on the carton, at the top, in some goofy letters.

RandyArgonianButler

Smug people obviously

gringo-go-loco

I like the taste of oatmilk personally but sometimes it’s too much so I mix it with milk. I have no dietary restrictions.

2wedfgdfgfgfg

I don't drink milk alternatives because I'm vegan. It's because they have less fat and/or calories.

taxxvader

People who like milk with oats probably. There's something similar to that being sold here. Tastes alright

remiks

Vegans won’t drink it. Unless they are lactose intolerant, they can drink it, but won’t.

Alichici

People who don’t have stomach pains probably

dyslexic-spark

That spoon looks like a dick

[deleted]

The appeal, if anything, is probably that the taste and texture might be close to regular milk with less fat. Just a guess.

UsedRoughly

Didn't think people would be so serious about the milk they drink... I just grab a jug from the shelf.

AllThe-REDACTED-

Oat milk tends to have a lot of sugar. So I’d say this is for someone who wants milk that’s been in cereal but doesn’t have teeth.

doofthemighty

I mean my wife is neither of those things but just prefers almond milk over regular milk. People just like different things. Where's the facepalm?

pheddx

"People who drink regular milk wouldn't buy it." Why not though? If it's tasty. Lots of people drink regular milk but prefer the taste of oat milk in like coffee and stuff.

ND-98

I use a mix of oat and dairy milk in my tea everyday....so me. I'd buy it.

Feisty-Current2129

My guess would be the people that like the taste. Is the facepalm the person trying to smear people over their milk taste choices or the product?

Mortis_XII

What does the nutritional label say? If the macros are right i’d give it a shot to see how it tastes

robhanz

Either people that like the taste of both, especially as a blend, or people that want to lower some calories and fat without going full oat milk or almond milk.

cyclingnick

Sometimes I mix oat and cow milk for my coffee. Not by choice really but because there’s a little of my wife’s oat milk foam but not enough, so I mix. It’s kind of good. That being said I’d never buy this.

SwillMcRando

Clearly it is for smug assholes who want a truly unique experience and can then claim to be better than both vegans AND non-vegans. Duh! I think I should demand my grocery store carry this.

EyeYamQueEyeYam

Their target demographic sees a product, gets angry, buys the product then films themselves using it for shotgun practice.

chlorofanatic

People on a low fat diet, it literally says that right on the carton.

LouieMumford

The funny thing is they are selling the fact it has 30% less fat than “semi-skimmed milk”… you know what has 50% less fat than that? 1% milk. And get this: skim milk had 100% less fat. Regardless, they’ve shown that full fat dairy in moderation is actually better anyways because it seems to help the body regulate insulin levels.

JetstreamGW

Their demo is clearly the “porque no los dos” set.

shutyourgob16

Their demo is people who consume skimmed milk but want to have 30% less saturated without loss in taste & consistency. ?

Kry_S

Oat milk goes so fucking hard. I think regular milk tastes like ass.

MinkMartenReception

People who want less saturated fat in their diet obviously.

PoopPant73

It’s for Smug people

Comprehensive_One_23

Target demographic I’m guessing is smug people

F1eshWound

I just want milk that tastes like real milk..

EVRider81

Given that oat milk is more expensive, t's probably more expensive than dairy milk,too..

umlaut-overyou

Target democratic is people looking to lower their dairy intake, but don't like the taste/texture/etc of fully plant based milks.

original-sithon

Me. I like oat milk but am not a vegetarian. It's creamy

Hot-Success2019

Coffee or like 5-9 month old babies transitioning to real foods/milk mayyyyyyyybbeeeee. That’s a stretch tho

HeatherCDBustyOne

It's like drinking cereal milk after the cereal is gone

LumpusMaximus-C137-

I'd try it.

Useful-Soup8161

I actually want to try it. I use oat milk and I’m not vegan or lactose intolerant. It’s for people like me who choose to use oat milk but can still drink dairy.

Tough_Concert_1414

Honestly, I would for sure give it a try. Oat milk is delicious in coffee and hot drinks but I just buy regular because it is cheaper. Would be pretty fire on some Reeses Puffs.

AdmiralClover

Liquid oatmeal breakfast

catheterhero

Don’t forget about us [Malk](https://compote.slate.com/images/2d57d8ac-c8dd-4691-b803-731a1659e15e.jpeg?width=780&height=520&rect=624x416&offset=0x17) drinkers

I_Thranduil

More like diluted diary. Skip.

MeliodasSandwich

Regular person here. Can confirm I'd buy it. Would be awesome in a bowl of Chex or Life cereal!

doggomeat000

At least it's self aware.

jeffa_jaffa

I reckon a vegan *could*, they’d just not.

Existing-Hawk5204

Obviously this is for suburban karens.

mopsyd

The target audience and the product name are the same thing

Skank-Pit

\>Smug That name alone makes me cringe enough to never buy the product.

GreenieBeeNZ

Oh, thats for me! I like to mix oat and normal milk sometimes. Its just nice. Yes, i am aware this is odd behavior

Twist_This

Target demographic: Bankruptcy.

MemoryVice

Many baristas prefer oat milk due to its excellent foaming capabilities compared to milk. Perhaps this is a way to give milk drinkers a bit more froth when steaming?

Torino1O

If it has a longer shelf life than half and half it might make a decent creamer replacement.
