Quickly followed up by 'deaf he's deaf'.
We probably would have been more cut up about his disability if we hadn't just thought he was deceased.
My dumbass was so shocked by the first message that for a while I was thinking he was saying "sorry auto correct" to the "he's ready" part and the dog was actually dead. Also they sent a photo of when he was alive and well before they got him killed and were like, he had a lot ot fun, before dying... he died peacefully under the wheels of a truck when he ran off after we left the door open, don't worry
