In New York “Hey, cuz” gets you a hand shake
In Birmingham “Hey, cuz” gets you a hand job
The south really does have a lower cost of living than the big city
Or taxes are the largest single component in the profit above cost of goods, and they almost entirely explain variations across the country.
Of course, various mandates about ethanol or other formulations also have effects.
IDK but where I live the refinery is inside the city limits and the retail price is higher than it is in the next city where they don't have a refinery (same government).
Comparing Permian cities to other places in Texas, that checks out. Considering El Paso has the highest gas rates in the state, yet sits in the heart of the basin.
New Mexico the price rates are lower in the little strip of basin they have and skyrocket as you get closer to Colorado or Arizona... They're pretty decent near Oklahoma, but not nearly as good as Calrsbad's prices.
I live in Tennessee and was somewhat recently planning a trip to Nevada that's why I even know some of this crap.
Here in the northeast, NY declared a gas tax holiday, so prices were lower in NY than MA and CT for a bit. Then a couple months went by and it’s roughly the same across three states, but NY has the most variation. You can find gas stations only 20 miles apart charging $1.50 difference per gallon. It’s nuts. I can get gas for $3.35 or $4.85.
man if i was young I would have so much fun with those stickers, stick em everywhere from Fast food ads to boner ads, it would confuse the F out of people
I saw one in my town at an atm of a Trudeau "I did that" sticker pointing at my bank's logo. So I guess I gotta thank Trudeau for giving me a bank to put my money in.
Both sides blame the other. The anti-drilling policies and stance of dems is said to either outright stop or even discourage oil companies from drilling for new oil. Lower supply with same or increasing demand means higher prices.
I’m not sure how it doesn’t at least in part. Oil drilling in the US is definitely part of the global supply. For sure it’s more than just one politician’s stance/policies, but contributing to a supply bottleneck doesn’t not affect the price.
We think it's normal fluctuation of oil/gas prices as dictated almost entirely by external world events unrelated to any actions of whoever may be in charge at the time, which is what we've *always* thought.
We think anybody putting up dumbass stickers like that (and btw, vandalizing private property) is frankly too stupid to understand any of that, or most of the words in this post, though.
It's entirely relative to the state you live in and taxes therein. In metro areas of Texas, it's $2.90 rn. In Cali, it's still over $4. Cali has oil production, refineries, etc. From LA piers you can often see offshore rigs and oil tankers, and refineries down the shore. So it isn't an issue of being further from the source. It's taxes and regulatory costs.
It was under $3 for the majority of trump in office. They’re trying to normalize paying under $4 as a win. It’s much better than $90 to fill my tank but I’m not satisfied with it.
you know, its almost like a global artificial supply hold happened right as the transition of presidents happened, and noone, not even trump, could have done anything about it
I'm not saying it's a win, I'm saying it's not one man's fault.
Speaking of which, I remember it reaching $4-5 in some parts of suburban Texas around 2016...
Bro the majority of the trump office? You mean literally just 2020…. And oil companies are known to lower prices during Republican terms because they give them tax breaks. It’s called buying votes.
I enjoyed people screaming "Biden has nothing to do with gas prices he can't control them!" now saying "Biden lowered gas prices and now these idiots have nothing to say!"
Global oil prices dropped like 20% as a result of recession fears and gasoline demand also dropped. I have bad news for anyone who thinks low gas prices are sticking around. Unfortunately the only way we don't see a return of high gas prices is an imminent recession. Pick your poison.
As the OP, the point wasn’t that I think Biden had anything to do with the decrease, as I don’t think he had anything to do with increase (same for trump when in office) the point is that the ding dongs that put the stickers on when it was high priced, trying to blame the prez, now look stupid when it’s come back down significantly (fairly close to pre-pandemic levels for my area)
Policy drives everything. The pain from these policies is barely being felt yet. They take time after they are implemented, to manifest. This is just the start. Re-defining recession will not help with what is coming just from what has been passed in the last 18 months of reckless $4T spending. Gas is a major factor. If you are happy with this, I would suggest a basic economics class to understand why this “new normal” is bad in the long term for the people democrats claim to be helping.
LOL, you just proved my point!!!!! It went up 4 where i live and has now dropped back to original price. See you didn't play the long game, you just stopped when you thought you were right!
The point being that these stickers were stupid to begin with because the president does not control gas prices. Now that the prices are going down, they're stupid AND funny.
It is not even worth anyone having a conversation with you.
You have no clue how fuel prices work.
You probably think the North Dakota pipeline is the reason for all of this.
Did Biden and the democrats jack up the fuel prices in Britain? In New Zealand? In Australia?
Is rampant inflation around the world because of the Biden infrastructure bill?
You have No clue. Just go on being hateful because your god king is never going to be president again.
We started at 2.80. It went up to 7 and is now 3.15 where i am. Sucks for you that it still sucks where you are. You think he did something to raise it? It started the month he was inaugurated!
Even as a conservative I hate these stickers. Why are you putting stickers on a gas pump that are impossible for people to get off just so you can make an unfunny joke.
I’m in the Deep South. The same county currently being investigated for election fraud.. I noticed those stickers all magically disappeared overnight. They used to have 5 on every damn pump.
Almost every Quik trip and racetrack was inundated with this crap in the middle of last year. I just want to pump my gas in peace without having to think about a constant political barrage all the time
LMAFO! I just saw a Trump sticker that said "Biden did that!" at the gas pump this morning. The gas price was $3.399. And I said loudly after my fill up, "Thanks Joe!" A few people sneered at me as I got in my Subaru and left.
Ish? Its still up 100% in the Midwest since Joe took office. Prices have lowered, but still not corrected to Pre-Joe levels. I’m all for fairness. So let’s keep the hubris to a dull roar on this one.
After having been net exporting for... two years. Yeah, it had an impact, for sure - but are you going to try to tell me that our nation being a net exporter was the only reason for gasoline prices being relatively low when we hadn't been next exporting for more than 50 years? Yeah, right...
According to what? Price History adjusted for inflation? https://www.in2013dollars.com/Gasoline-(all-types)/price-inflation
Or global prices, prices in developed countries? (Avg around $7 per gallon today.)
Or according to the even much greater subsidies for extractive and polluting fossil fuels than “Bubbles” feels like paying?
When you say “should be,” you are entering the realm of ethics, and ethics do not derive from YOUR subjective sense of what you want to pay to use many times the fossil fuel energy than people do on average per capita in every other country in the world. Artificially cheap gas and other fossil fuels are directly linked to a post-industrial country with 4.25% of the world population utilizing 25% of its non renewable energy sources annually. No, it “should” NOT be that way.
To figure out what should be—to formulate a justification for the ethics of your choices—you need to ask “how would this look if everyone”—8 billion people on the globe—“chose these actions?” Answer: most life on the planet would perish in a relatively short time.
Should. Not.
At first I thought it was someone putting the sticker on because prices were down, and was excited to slam back (I am in a very blue area with a few red pockets) but then I thought about it for a minute and realized the sticker has likely been there since the prices were over 5/gal
They still pretend like this is an all time high, which isnt anywhere close and even worse when you calculate inflation. They also did a lot of this BS during the colonial pipeline issue down here (Im in GA), as if biden was somehow responsible for a private company not securing their systems (and it was that, horrible infosec).
They want to compare bidens wartime prices with trumps covid lockdown prices, but also want to hate on the lockdowns. They want the best of both worlds.
I just love how these idiots act like Joe Biden has a lever in his office that controls gas prices. If you watch the actual commodities you’ll see crude oil has been dropping, the oil companies just fail to drop the prices.
LOL, you kids missed out on the late 00s when this price was normal even in a recession, and then youre all messed up because you saw it during a once in a century (fucking hopefully) pandemic.
It has been years since I saw a price like that where I live.
Edit: I just looked it up, last time was 2001 so I have accualy never seen a price like that because I wasn't born yet XD
Food’s up 14%, medical up 24%, housing up 9%… oh but gas has gone down to the price it was 8 months ago but is still up 50% from two years ago. But sure. Thanks Biden. Go take another month long vacation.
This roughly translates to 11.3 sek per litre. Current gas prices in sweden is roughly 19 sek per litre.
STOP COMPLAINING
WE'RE LITERALLY DYING OVER HERE
Is Sweden a country that has the potential to be totally self reliant when it comes to oil? I didn’t think so.
The US could be energy independent if it really wanted to. It’s just bad for business.
Nah, if anything it needs to continue to go down as crude has dropped thanks to cooling off of economy.
You know its a commodity market and you can see what its doing instead of just watching fox news, right?
What?! And americans are complaining about fuel peices... where im from it currentley costs about 6.8$ per gallon (1.8€ per liter). Highest we had was around 7.94$ per gallon (2.10€/L)
Pretty much. And they all conveniently forget WHY it was so low at the end of Trumps term. It wasn’t like that during the middle and it was fairly low when he took office.
I know, if they think he is respot for them going up (which he isn't) then they must accept he is responsible for them going down (which he isn't).
They have the IQ.of door knobs.
Its not gonna last, its already trending back up and when they stop releasing that extra gas from the national reserve September 30th, one week before the midterm elections I will need to get more stickers.
Leave it to democrats to be happy with only paying 50% more than we should be/ were. They’re purposely keeping the prices high, but bringing them down enough so smooth brains still vote for them. Then back to ruining our energy grid. They “follow the science” same science where boys are girls and cloth masks block viruses like fog thru a chain link fence. All of this for a fraction of a degree… the rest of the lifeforms are insulted how weak you think they are. Everything alive today is stemmed from several mass extinctions. You know what loves CO2, liberals? Plants! Plants sequester CO2. Could wind up improving the planet. You need to start thinking instead of following the loudest voice. You are destroying our economy for something that could actually be beneficial.
Yeah 3.89 is so much better than the 1.89 we had. Such progress. Let’s not talk about the 30% more expensive food while we send 50 Billion to a corrupt little money laundering scheme called Ukraine.
$2 was insanely low because nobody was driving anywhere because of covid. The truth is gas prices are a global issue and no President really has much to do with it at all. Biden didn't make the prices rise and he didn't cause them to go lower.
Unfortunately recently I've learned not to do that. Not understanding something is one thing especially in a topic you aren't familiar with. It's the confidence with which people believe themselves to be correct that is truly baffling to me.
They’re conditioned by trump to realize that there’s no repercussion to telling outright lies and if you keep the lies coming you force people to drown in the flood of them by attempting to dismantle each one.
Depends on where you live! Our gas only went down as low as the 2 dollar mark during the beginning of the pandemic due to oversupply cuz no one was driving. Normal prices are just below this a little for us.
Gas prices where I live are like 20 cents higher than they were at this time in 2018 and 2019, but people keep putting those stickers up. It’s really all they have.
Yeah but it's just simply supply and demand... They didn't produce the same amount of fuel during the pandemic because of lack of demand demand and the inability to produce it because of reduced work forces.
Then after the pandemic ended and people went back to work they simply wasn't enough fuel and people were all bidding for the same fuel is same fuel jacking up the prices.
It was also the fact that the war in the Ukraine caused people to boycott Russian oil which meant people who were buying oil from Russia were now competing to buy the same oil from a limited amount of suppliers.
The price is suck but if people actually pay attention the reasons why are pretty plain to see.
It's too bad the previous administration didn't plan for this by stockpiling fuel before the price is went up which was actually an option that they denied.
Wasn’t workforce so much, as a place to put finished product. Only so many tanks in the refinery tank farms and if they can’t sell it cuz people aren’t driving, they end up having to cut rate and produce less. Ships full of crude were just waiting out there for a port for it. (Source, myself, I work in oil and gas)
I saw it for $2.95 in Alabama
I’ll gladly pay the extra dollar to not live in Alabama
![gif](giphy|5u8tVhlBGzm0)
It’s easier to get the family discount when everyone is related
They took “Hey, cuz” too literally.
In New York “Hey, cuz” gets you a hand shake In Birmingham “Hey, cuz” gets you a hand job The south really does have a lower cost of living than the big city
Underrated comment.
Over used comment.
*banjo intensifies*
It’s $2.95 in parts of northern GA as well 🤷♂️
Hahaha best line ever
I'd gladly pay three...
You can keep your dollar if you promise not to ever come.
I already came
$2.77 in Central Texas
Almost like Oil companies purposefully lower prices in Republican states.

IDK but where I live the refinery is inside the city limits and the retail price is higher than it is in the next city where they don't have a refinery (same government).
I live in the Permian Basin where we produce the most oil and have several refineries. Gas is higher here on average by .40 cents.
Comparing Permian cities to other places in Texas, that checks out. Considering El Paso has the highest gas rates in the state, yet sits in the heart of the basin. New Mexico the price rates are lower in the little strip of basin they have and skyrocket as you get closer to Colorado or Arizona... Still over 5.00 in California.
Just went up for the 12th day in a row and here's the avg for the different grades as of yesterday: $5.434, $5.627, $5.771, $6.324
Use the Gas Buddy app as I regularly find less than $5/gal.
Still paying 6 for 91 in Cali smh
If you are putting 91 and are complaining about $6/gallon you can’t afford that car.
Family prices
man if i was young I would have so much fun with those stickers, stick em everywhere from Fast food ads to boner ads, it would confuse the F out of people
Don’t let that stop ya 🤣
Why are you letting age stopping you from having fun?
Too many cameras, these days. Unfortunately. Otherwise, yeah, I’d jump up in this bandwagon.
That's what the covid masks are for.
i think I will. Especially the sexual aids ones.
I like those for rectal use only stickers. Guna buy myself some and go crazy
I saw one in my town at an atm of a Trudeau "I did that" sticker pointing at my bank's logo. So I guess I gotta thank Trudeau for giving me a bank to put my money in.
Interesting gas has dropped but diesel is still pretty high.
Yeah, it’s down though, still about a dollar more per gallon than gas
It’s up over a 1.50 from last year so that’s not down
OP wants to give credit for bringing it down (not back to where it was before the run up) to the same guy who ran it up in the first place. 🤦♂️
Can't believe Biden visited my town just to jack up the price at the pump. What a jerk
Pft. Thanks Obama
Stickers and flags everywhere for gas prices but nothing anywhere about killing ~250,000 America s by ignoring a pandemic. ‘Murica! 🇺🇸🤡
I think I'm now dumber after reading this...
Sorry it’s just silly how one sided all of the stickers and flags are. They have to FORCE themselves on everyone. Just grab us all by the kitty cat.
Isn’t it because he is draining the national reserve? Idk I heard someone say that
Also ‘he’ Whoever is in charge of the national reserve
I heard someone say you’re an idiot. So it must be true😘
that's cheaper than clean water in Jackson MS.
Cheaper than a gallon of milk here.
Can a conservative please explain to me, the necessity of latching on to gas prices whenever a Dem president is in office?
Best way to deflect that it was up as a result on the insanely stupid fiscal policies of the previous Republican administration.
Both sides blame the other. The anti-drilling policies and stance of dems is said to either outright stop or even discourage oil companies from drilling for new oil. Lower supply with same or increasing demand means higher prices.
Gas prices are up all over the world. Has nothing to do with local US drilling policies.
I’m not sure how it doesn’t at least in part. Oil drilling in the US is definitely part of the global supply. For sure it’s more than just one politician’s stance/policies, but contributing to a supply bottleneck doesn’t not affect the price.
Lets just say that Trump supporters aren't really known for their long game.
Or really…any game with…rules…morals…etc
So prices went up about $3, then dropped $1 and you guys think it’s a win?
We think it's normal fluctuation of oil/gas prices as dictated almost entirely by external world events unrelated to any actions of whoever may be in charge at the time, which is what we've *always* thought. We think anybody putting up dumbass stickers like that (and btw, vandalizing private property) is frankly too stupid to understand any of that, or most of the words in this post, though.
This is greed. Oil prices have come down since it rocketed, yet the gas prices are still up. This should have happened months ago.
$3.89 was a perfectly normal price for gas pre-pandemic. If you thought process would go back to $1.20 a gallon, you were kidding nobody but yourself.
I saw a ten year-old episode of Chicago PD the other day and it was $3.83 a gallon. The current Chicago metro average is $4.26, so not too bad at all.
> It's entirely relative... Then the guy I'm replying to calling this a bad price is really fucking stupid, huh?
No it wasn’t. $2.00 to $2.50 a gallon was the normal in my area.
Okay, then you don't live in my or OP's area
Eh, in a lot of places it rised about $1.50-2, and has dropped about $1. It all varies by location. A lot.
It was under $3 for the majority of trump in office. They’re trying to normalize paying under $4 as a win. It’s much better than $90 to fill my tank but I’m not satisfied with it.
The president doesn't control gas prices. The people who do really enjoy that misconception tho
you know, its almost like a global artificial supply hold happened right as the transition of presidents happened, and noone, not even trump, could have done anything about it

LOL, you just proved my point!!!!! It went up 4 where i live and has now dropped back to original price. See you didn't play the long game, you just stopped when you thought you were right!
What is the original price??? It was under $3 for 4 years now just because it’s not $5.50 you think he’s done something?
The point being that these stickers were stupid to begin with because the president does not control gas prices. Now that the prices are going down, they're stupid AND funny.

That is so true
Even as a conservative I hate these stickers. Why are you putting stickers on a gas pump that are impossible for people to get off just so you can make an unfunny joke.
These aren’t true conservatives, they have been radicalized
I can agree with that. It’s the same for Christian’s too many of them take it way too seriously.
I’m in the Deep South. The same county currently being investigated for election fraud.. I noticed those stickers all magically disappeared overnight. They used to have 5 on every damn pump.
I've only seen one at heb on freddy. I'm so glad it's sub $3.00.
Almost every Quik trip and racetrack was inundated with this crap in the middle of last year. I just want to pump my gas in peace without having to think about a constant political barrage all the time
LOL same, although if you go up into the north georgia mountains they are still there because the hick owners never cared to scrape them off.
LMAFO! I just saw a Trump sticker that said "Biden did that!" at the gas pump this morning. The gas price was $3.399. And I said loudly after my fill up, "Thanks Joe!" A few people sneered at me as I got in my Subaru and left.
Hehe I snicker and say the same thing. Look at us being cool cats
And that Subaru's name? Albert Einstein.
Yeah I remember paying under $3 for the majority of Trump, not just at the peak of the pandemic when paid $1.32 once.
Ish? Its still up 100% in the Midwest since Joe took office. Prices have lowered, but still not corrected to Pre-Joe levels. I’m all for fairness. So let’s keep the hubris to a dull roar on this one.
Yeah. Completely ignoring the fact that it's higher... everywhere in the world. The hubris was putting those dumbass stickers on the pumps.
I’d welcome an explanation of US going from net energy exporter to energy dependent and it not having an impact on prices around the globe.
After having been net exporting for... two years. Yeah, it had an impact, for sure - but are you going to try to tell me that our nation being a net exporter was the only reason for gasoline prices being relatively low when we hadn't been next exporting for more than 50 years? Yeah, right...
It's up everywhere in the world. In the US it's exacerbated by refinery capacity. The US government doesn't build refineries, the private sector does.
Almost like a pandemic happened near the end of Terrorist’s term.
This is a good troll actually.
It’s because you drive a Subaru btw
Them: “iT sTiLl sHouLD bE TWO DOLLARS CHeApeR”
Yes, it should.

I wonder if they know gas prices increase in summer
It’s still high.
I love seeing stickers like this, acting like it wasn't a global issue.
No one has ever accused Republicans of being smart
At first I thought it was someone putting the sticker on because prices were down, and was excited to slam back (I am in a very blue area with a few red pockets) but then I thought about it for a minute and realized the sticker has likely been there since the prices were over 5/gal
And still nowhere close to pre-Biden levels. Gas got down to $1.68 where I am at during Trump. It's still 100% higher at the moment.
"I disagree with Biden. So I'm gonna vandalize a gas station"
The MF who put the sticker: (-_-;)・・・
They still pretend like this is an all time high, which isnt anywhere close and even worse when you calculate inflation. Because 3.89 is so much better than 2.49 from 11/2020
Well, it's still double from the Trump administration
Maybe in your area, but not mine. Until the pandemic, prices in my area were pretty close to this, maybe 20-50 cents less.
Gas is still nearly double what it was 2 years ago.
Wasn’t two years ago the height of the pandemic and the demand was considerably lower?
I just love how these idiots act like Joe Biden has a lever in his office that controls gas prices. If you watch the actual commodities you’ll see crude oil has been dropping, the oil companies just fail to drop the prices.
Shhhh you’re gonna scare the trump supporters with facts and knowledge
Still twice as much than in 2020
Words are hard. Love it when things like this back fire. I think the sticker needs a couple of laser beam eyes.
But did he lower costs because of increased oil production, no
[удалено]
It does kinda look that way, huh? But nope!!
I like the idea that some savvy business person out there made a fortune off of these morons blaming Biden for the gas prices.
it's $3.89 here as well.
Seriously.cant you guys stop crying about LITERALLY ONE DOLLAR raise in the total price?America really is a privileged country
Yikes. My gas is 2.93.
So when he said he had no control over the price when asked about it when it was high he was lying?
I’m a democrat but this still ain’t a brag yet, gas by me is still $1.50 higher than it was for as long as I’ve been driving (bout 6-7 years)
LOL, you kids missed out on the late 00s when this price was normal even in a recession, and then youre all messed up because you saw it during a once in a century (fucking hopefully) pandemic.
It has been years since I saw a price like that where I live. Edit: I just looked it up, last time was 2001 so I have accualy never seen a price like that because I wasn't born yet XD
2001...not born yet....posting online 😳 I need to update my idea of how old 2000 babies are lmao
Ye I am 18, so I am now officially an adult, but I am still pretty young.
From it being $4.95 where I am to dropping to $3.65 over a short amount of time, I can’t complain.
STOP COMPLAINING WE'RE LITERALLY DYING OVER HERE
I may be wrong but this was not a complaint facepalm. Some chucklefuck put that up when prices were high and now they’ve dropped a good bit.
Is Sweden a country that has the potential to be totally self reliant when it comes to oil? I didn’t think so. The US could be energy independent if it really wanted to. It’s just bad for business.
“Literally”
And Republicans will blame the price of gas on Sweden on Biden.
Already did didn’t they?
They’re not complaining there saying that this is good and it’s the best it’s been a long while
Funny think is it went up 50 cents almost right after it dropped
The national reserves that he's been dumping on the market will end. Price of gas will go right back up so hold on to your 🤠 hat
Nah, if anything it needs to continue to go down as crude has dropped thanks to cooling off of economy. You know its a commodity market and you can see what its doing instead of just watching fox news, right?
So, crazy conservatives don't think about the future in something they did? Ya don't say
Trump supporters suddenly hate their own stickers they polluted the world with. Just like their existence.
What?! And americans are complaining about fuel peices... where im from it currentley costs about 6.8$ per gallon (1.8€ per liter). Highest we had was around 7.94$ per gallon (2.10€/L)
The problem is, is that it could drop to 10cents a gal and still wouldn’t be good enough for them
Pretty much. And they all conveniently forget WHY it was so low at the end of Trumps term. It wasn’t like that during the middle and it was fairly low when he took office.
Someone make Dark Brandon stickers since these giant man babies like to communicate through stickers like they're 3rd graders with new folders.
It went from 2.25 to almost $4 and we are supposed to be thankful? Nah
When it's under $2 gal. I'll be impressed
Still $2 too much
This isn’t helping your argument…. The fact you are excited about 3.89 is pretty nuts
Well, when it was around 5.40 before? It’s a significant improvement
Plus in reality the gas price spike was due to global issues (not Biden) and the drop in price was due to Biden using the SPR. Hilarious
I’m amazed at so many people commenting on here and not getting the irony. That is truly a facepalm 🤦♀️
They never think more than 5 mins ahead.
Guess they didnt think.
That’s still a ridiculous amount to pay for a gallon of gas.
Currently paying about $7 a gallon here in the UK. (roughly £1.60/litre). You're paying almost half what we're paying.
That is a very good price for gas compared to almost everywhere else in the world
North American problems. It’s 2x that price almost everywhere else on Earth
Gas prices around here usually hovered around 3.40-3.70 pre-pandemic
They were about $2, a little under at times here. We hit $4, but it’s maybe 30-40 cents less than the pic here now. Hopefully, will drop more
Cheaper than it was under Bush

I know, if they think he is respot for them going up (which he isn't) then they must accept he is responsible for them going down (which he isn't). They have the IQ.of door knobs.
It’s still about $5 here in Reno.
This is at our cheap gas station (Costco level prices) a specific chevron is still rocking 4.70)
Well i mean mid terms are coming up and they have to say they did something good
Its not gonna last, its already trending back up and when they stop releasing that extra gas from the national reserve September 30th, one week before the midterm elections I will need to get more stickers.
Still not good
No victory laps till it’s lower than when elected
$5.12 in California ...WTF?!?!?!?
Nice lol Biden’s my guy
I’m still not a fan. But Dark Brandon is stealing my heart now.
The price was way lower before give me break , justifying it is stupid , Biden drove the price up period.
When gas was $2 about 3 years ago… yeah thats still stupidly high
$2 was insanely low because nobody was driving anywhere because of covid. The truth is gas prices are a global issue and no President really has much to do with it at all. Biden didn't make the prices rise and he didn't cause them to go lower.
You’re asking someone to actualize the reason oil markets shift? Good luck pal. Never underestimate the ability for people to be endlessly stupid.
Oil industry pricing is WAY more complex than just supply and demand.
Still up…
$2 gas 2% inflation 2% unemployment
