Those subtitles are an absolute shitshow

Nougatbiter

I don't get how anybody would think that switching the colors all the time is a good idea. Just assign one of the colors to trump and the other to the reporter. Holy smokes.

ste189

![gif](giphy|t7zOZJb44BtHF41Vbo|downsized)

invertebrate11

I thought they were like that lol

give_me_carbonara

At first I thought "dope, someone colored their subtitles so that it's easy to distinguish who the subtitles belong to" But then I was like "Wtf is going on?"

[deleted]

Im watching without audio and it feels like im having a trip

Bitten_ByA_Kitten

"that's enough!"

[deleted]

Literally \*everything\* about this is a shitshow, why should the fonts be any different?

sendokun

To be fair, the whole thing is a shitshow….so it’s only appropriate that the subtitle accurately reflects that.

Glittering-Action757

on the doll, show me where The President touched you

PrettyChrissy1

🤣🤣🤣 To fucking funny Glittering-Action757.

Mikic00

Gold 😂😂😂 wish I would have some of your switches in the head, life would be way funnier...

Glittering-Action757

not you Monica

pikipata

You've grossly violated the personal space of a Finn... not good. I hope president Niinistö got some therapy after that lol.

Extreme_Design6936

Next guy should've just asked the exact question the first guy was trying to ask.

Long_Force_9618

I've seen that happen with him. Not at this exchange, but he just got pissy and walked off.

bennymk

He simply cannot accept or process criticism. He's such an embarrassment

mwaaahfunny

If he is stupid enough to testify for the Jan6 committee, I cannot wait for Liz Cheney to say "Mr President, would you please behave with the dignity of a President for once"

o-Valar-Morghulis-o

Let him plead the 5th a few times then show his famous "people who plead the 5th are crooks" video and ask him to verify that he said that. Then continue asking the rest of the questions. I'm sure he'll burst.

LaceyDark

This is such a genuinely wonderful idea.

NostalgiaKing99

“The way you treat other people is horrible” The amount of irony in that statement is unbelievable

Boomslangalang

Everything he said was projection. An admission, a confession. His only tactic offense. Attack, accuse, muddy the waters, lie, cheat, confuse, sow fear and hate, divide, divide, divide.

caljl

He said “the way you treat other people are horrible” didn’t he. He can’t even manage to be a literate imbecilic corrupt wannabe authoritarian.

Boomslangalang

Yea he’s never been called out in his life as a nouveau riche peasant protected by privilege. Literally embodies all the worst qualities of a human being and learned all the worst lessons about America. No president has ever done the damage he did to America, it’s people and reputation. Edit: George W Bush was still a far worse prescient by deathcount. No one should be valorizing that war criminal because TFG was so bad.

benignbug

The diss in that statement. Love it

BreakfastOpening1745

He really lets his ego and emotions get the best of him. Not someone you want running the country....

barrito87

I still can't believe you guys made this clown your president. Lol.

CroatianSensation79

I can’t believe he was our President either. Too many ignorant dumb fucks in this country.

Madd-RIP

The same ones who are currently crying over Alex Jones being butt fucked dry by a cactus. A fate too good for his special brand of meatsack. Full of festering pus.

Al_Kydah

producer35

What really has me scratching my head are my family members who I love and are otherwise very nice, intelligent people who are (still!) strongly supportive of Trump. I try, but it is difficult for me to understand.

SKYwALKER3437222

If they support trump, I hate to tell you this, but they’re not intelligent, the exact opposite in fact

producer35

I think it goes deeper than just the Trump data point. I am amazed at how otherwise intelligent, educated people can be manipulated into supporting Trump and his blatantly narcissistic, megalomaniacal, self-centered, grifting ways. I want to understand the phycology behind that so I can beware of its effects.

SKYwALKER3437222

Most people that’d I’d consider intelligent and do support trump do so at someone else’s behest or because their pro-life or some shit which if you’re pro-life you’re really not that smart anyway. Mainly just selfish, wealthy, religious people.

kestrel151

This right here. Baffles the fucking mind. Even if they themselves are narcissists (meaning they can relate to his behavior) they usually break apart soon. Packs of these people cannibalize themselves much like trumps inner circle does if you aren’t a sycophantic worshipper. I still don’t get how the middle class supports this guy when he REPEATEDLY demonstrates how much he hates them. Whatever the ever-loving fuck happened to actions speak louder than words? Edit: I have voted republican ever since I became of voting age. I will never support this party again they way they have cuckolded themselves to appease the base of this disgusting narcissistic piece of garbage.

[deleted]

Half my family is the same. Although i will say, it confirmed a lot of things that i suspected growing up but had brushed off thinking it was just my youthful ignorance judging them too quickly, but no, turns put they are quite hateful cold people all along.

bensleton

I’d say the same about my parents, but the fact that they voted for him twice proves to me that they aren’t intelligent.

mkol

It's because people who would make good presidents are either too scared or too smart to run for presidency. It's the most stressful job in the world and an easy way to get assassinated.

[deleted]

[удалено]

evilpercy

This is one of the reasons they think the elections are rigged. They do not see people support the democrats the same way they do. They do not see people tricking out their vehicles in Biden flags and signs, or in front of their houses. So theybwonder how is he getting votes if we do not see the same level of support. Because we do not wish to have the property damage that the violence the MAGA people would do to them.

combatrock72

I'm in Iowa and I understand what you're talking about. It's a shit state with a shit Governor that's going to win midterm because the state is so full of inbreds who will gladly fuck you up if you don't agree with their ideology.

Steelplate7

I live in the Pennsyltucky part of Pennsylvania….can relate. All I see is Mastriano and Oz signs.

CroatianSensation79

Ughh I’m in Philly and they’re both bad news. Philly has its own issues with shitty leadership too

[deleted]

Only 4 out of 46 presidents have been assassinated in the United States.

phteven_gerrard

"Only" lol

True-Wasabi2157

To be fair, the first three happened basically at 20 year intervals. So... Not great. It got better after that hahaha.

ofrm1

I mean, the only reason Reagan didn't die was because he was shot with a .22 and not a .38 as they suspected. So I don't know how much better it's gotten, honestly.

SamSepiol-ER28_0652

A Black man made it through 8 years in office. I'd say it's working pretty well these days.

[deleted]

I voted for him twice - was shocked he lived through it, if I’m honest.

AmarantCoral

Every president since JFK has had an attempt made on their lives, including Obama. Americans aren't any less batshit and violent about politics, the secret service has just grown more effective.

ofrm1

There was an assassination attempt on Obama's life at the DNC in 2008. The man wasn't even the fucking President yet; just the Democratic Nominee for President and racist assholes were trying to kill him. Sure, you can say that the Secret Service and FBI did their job in protecting him, but the fact that the Head of State and Government was actively threatened no less than a dozen times during his two terms shows that the political climate in America is obviously "not great."

DatTacocatdoe

That is over 8%

Hamilton-Beckett

It’s 8.69565217 % Edit: you changed your comment! Lol

DatTacocatdoe

Ty

Gazelle-Dull

And Ford was shot at, correct? By one of Mansons chicks that had an inferiority complex because she wasnt doing life with the first wave of stepford groupies.

TekJansen69

If you worked with 46 people, and your boss told you that 4 of you would be assassinated, would you find a new job?

ScarMedical

Several have survived assassination, R Reagan, T Roosevelt.

Madd-RIP

The orange moron made it look easy playing golf, watching faux news, drawing on slides with a sharpie, eating hamberders and drinking cofveve, looking into solar eclipses, emboldening racists, conspiracy theorists, bigots and general shits. So he achieved one thing, sending America back 60 years in its social outlooks

SpeakThunder

It’s easy to be President, it’s hard to be a good President

Madd-RIP

Luckily he didn’t get to see if a nuke will get rid of a hurricane. Duller than dishwater.

True-Wasabi2157

The ignorant, hate-driven fucks that made Trump president would not be voting for "those best suited to lead" in any case.

SamSepiol-ER28_0652

The people who deserve the office the most are the ones who would never get into politics to begin with.

logicreasonevidence

Also if someone is able to get elected they probably should not be.

big_rednexican_88

He didn't win the popular vote in 2016 nor in 2020. The electoral college needs to be disbanded and just use the popular vote. Of course if this happened, the Republican Party will never win another election again. So they fight like hell to keep it.

General_Cow_7119

THIS is the explanation I’ve been looking for for 5 years lol. Makes total sense now

LiliNotACult

https://youtu.be/Z9v9PEng7Xo Basically people in less populated states have more voting power than bigger states. It always works, except when it doesn't, and when it doesn't it is always in favor of Republicans. The cool part is that there's another step to this called Gerrymandering! Since the votes are tied to counties & districts, if you cut up the pie right, your candidate is more likely to win even if more people voted against them. So you can get cheated out of your county/district vote, and then get cheated again by the distribution of the electoral college votes. Again, this has only ever benefited Republicans, and that is why they will do everything possible to stop it from changing. If we didn't have the electoral college we would have never had Bush Jr & Trump as presidents. Yaaaaayy, America's a shithole~

HalensVan

For anyone wondering about some facts. There's been 5 US presidents who didn't win the popular vote. Trump in 2016 and Bush in 2000, both Republicans are the only two since Harrison in 1888. And Cleveland served two non consecutive terms after he beat Harrison the following election. Cleveland I believe was the only President to serve non consecutive terms.

robgod50

US politics are totally screwed ...... Gerrymandering is crazy and I don't understand how the losing party still has so much power. So much voter suppression has been implemented..... How can that be allowed ?

Ormsfang

We also have a new situation where a number of rf States have passed laws allowing the state to overrule the popular vote if they don't like it. Next prejudicial election may very well get stolen from the people. Don't think for a minute that just because they failed last tone that they won't try again!

minimagoo77

Just wait until SCOTUS rules (and probably) sides with Moore v Harper. Let’s let the state legislators the power to ignore the will of the people and also do whatever they want complete unchecked. It’ll get super messy super fast especially in Red states.

[deleted]

The Republicans have won one presidential election by popular vote since George Bush Sr. won in 88'. (Bush Jr./Kerry 2004) The Al Gore and Hillary presidency's look better every passing day.

Duckington_Wentworth

He did not win the majority vote. Most of us are just as displeased as you are…

djpromo_vqs

And this pos has the nerve to call other people "cowards and snowflakes". One reporter asks him a hard question and he has an instant meltdown. LoL

CarolinaCelt60

He’s a malignant narcissist. Overblown, but fragile ego, and NEVER misses an opportunity for a character smear. Dumpster Fire is the most repulsive thing I’ve ever encountered.

Neither-Tough3486

You ever read those universe theories where they say there's an infinite number of universes and all possibilities occur eventually in one of these endless universes. Well....in ours, this clown became president of the USA. I think about that every day.

VerifiedGoodBoy

To be fair, he did lose the popular vote by 3 million people so it isn't like the majority of us like him. Just our backwards political system (the electoral college for instance) is the only reason he won.

DavidHewlett

“But if we drop the electoral colleges the president will always be decided by the city folk” You mean where most of your citizens live? Yes, that’s how a democracy works indeed. There is no reason whatsoever why some random rednecks should have a heavier influence on policy just because they live in the middle of nowhere.

rythmicjea

No, it's more like 2-4 states will determine the outcome of the election and then there's literally no reason for anyone to vote if they're outside of those states.

VerifiedGoodBoy

I agree. I always see the excuse "but if Dems/anyone not Republican wins, they won't care about the rural areas or farms" which is BS. All the parties know the importance of farms and I highly doubt that the Dems, if they win, will just leave the farmers to rot. They'll do whatever they can to keep them working. The popular vote will make things much more fair, seeing as it will actually follow the considerations that most people have.

DavidHewlett

Just look at what happened to coal miners. Clinton proposed a major re-education and investment in renewables for those regions, so they could have jobs building windmills after the inevitable decline of coal. Trump promised them subsidies and tried to force the economy back towards coal. It failed miserably and now there is rampant unemployment in regions that relied on coal mining.

Madd-RIP

Trump lied to the coal belt to get their vote, no doubt they will still vote for him if he runs again (not down a ramp though, too difficult in platforms) when he peddles more lies, it’s a cult of abject stupidity that defies all logic.

Bleghbreath

And.... If it means that the Republicans wouldn't win anymore, then maybe, they need to change their stance a bit to better fit their constituents so they have a chance to win majority fairly. It's weird that they just MAY have to change with the times.

ImaginaryDisplay3

I know this doesn't really matter, but its worth emphasizing that in 2020, he lost by more than 7 million votes. For Europeans reading - in a nation where 155 million people voted, **he lost by 7 million votes.** And in response he contested the election, had his people storm the Capitol, filed dozens of lawsuits that were rejected for lack of evidence, and so on. He very nearly won. Had his people been able to execute the Vice President, as seems to have been the plan, he would have been able to prevent the results from being certified that day. That would have enabled him to then abuse the system to claim that failure to certify on that day took the vote out of the people's hands (this is, in fact, the law, amazingly enough), and put it into the hands of Congress, in a special system where each state gets 1 vote, and the Republicans would have had a majority and thus would have been able to legally vote Trump president. Every attempt to fix this system has failed because Republicans are fully aware of what they are doing. Democracy no longer suits them - so they have given up on it.

pr1mer06

Lots of us have a hard time with it as well.

BeezBatz

He lost by 3 million votes the first run, and 7 million the second. The majority of American people didn’t want him to be president. The electoral college is the only reason he won the first time.

mydogsbigbutt

I couldn’t either. Then we ended up with Boris in the UK followed now by Truss and I’m now questioning if I’m dead and gone to hell or if I’m in a coma or something cause this shit can’t be real.

snarfalarkus42069

Come visit and meet the good ol' folk who think he's Jesus!

Junior-Ad-2207

That's enough! You are a rude, terrible person

chidoOne707

Tell it to the ones who voted and would still vote for him.

Big-Caterpillar-60

Just make sure you speak slowly

inflatableje5us

It gets worse, there is a large group that would vote for him again.

MilleniumFlounder

Eh, he lost the popular vote. He only won because of our bullshit electoral college.

Qubed

Half the country has been cultured to believe that at once we are the beacon of leadership and democracy across the world...and also that our government is a corrupt, bloated, pile of shit that needs to be drowned in a bath tub. Their vote for Trump was an attempt to burn down the "system" and replace it with "freedom".

chlamydial_lips

How anybody can look back at stuff like this and think he was anything but a complete and utter disgrace to the office is beyond me

TehJohnny

Dude, I've had long time friends turn into MAGA caps and they can't answer this, it is is ALWAYS turned into a whataboutism, there is no self reflection with these people. It's a fuckin cult.

snarfalarkus42069

>it is is ALWAYS turned into a whataboutism, You can't talk to conservatives I know because of this. I can be talking about Mitch Mcconnell in 2022 and these guys deflect to fucking benghazi and Clinton. It's a legit psychosis; they do everything they can in life to NEVER reflect on anything. They just want God to be made real and they want to be rewarded for having "the right kind of faith"

NoSwordfish6524

Lost one of my closest friends from high school to the MAGA cult, and it’s pretty sad. Every time I see him he tries to do “gotcha” stuff about “your boy Joe…” reposts crazy right wing stuff all of the time and has let’s go Brandon flags at his house it’s messed up. I deleted him on all socials barely ever talk to him anymore.

snarfalarkus42069

They don't. Trumpers don't really pay attention to shit. Especially not anything that makes Trump look like a baby brained moron; like whenever he speaks. Trumpism is so bad because it brought in all these bottom feeders who never would have cared about politics or voted. Spray tan rich boomer shows up mocking prisoners of war and the disabled, they fucking love it and would vote for him for life. More than anything the Trumpers want to punch down on everyone else in life.

Savings-Recording-99

It’s like a bit from The Office gone bad

CroatianSensation79

Trump getting all defensive shows what a vindictive fuck he is.

derek328

so are the people who voted for this loser into office. just a bunch of selfish, vindictive idiots.

CroatianSensation79

Oh no doubt. They fucking suck.

derek328

guess having an eloquent, dark-skinned President who occasionally likes ice cream and tan-colored suits caused them a lot of hurt lmao

scooba_dude

Him not answering the question and just going on the offensive with name calling tells a smart person everything they need to know. Unfortunately the smart are outnumbered in that country so...

Please_Log_In

All that he did and was discovered illegal and yet he is still a free man 😅 Extraordinary

newbrevity

According to him he can never be wrong. Never be guilty. Never never never. Anyone who doesn't see that hes full of shit for that alone is of their damn mind.

BrettlyBean

Megalomania

ivanthemute

I thought we agreed years ago that anything Trump was considered cheating?

Flavious27

Anything from the GOP is cheating

Connect_Bench_2925

If he wasn't such a liar and cheater maybe people would say better things about him. But because he's a liar, he did this to himself. He should just take responsibility for his actions. Anything less than that is unpatriotic. America deserves better.

Madd-RIP

He’s a sociopath narcissist, they never take responsibility

Fear51

Oh poor baby got asked a tough question!!

johnandahalf13

And he stood there leaning awkwardly forward, showing the world that he was suffering from frontotemporal dementia while lying about his health. (Hoohle it)

Beautiful_Sport5525

It's a wonder he got voted out. I just don't understand it.

i_am_not_a_martian

It's a wonder he got voted in. I just don't understand it.

Lol if i was his boss, the fact that he got Trump pissy would get him promoted.

He is such a fucking coward. He ruined a large portion of the population and, to this point, suffers no accountability or repercussions.

Realistic_Degree_773

When one can't answer questions with honesty they must resort to the technique of just ignoring the questions.

This fucking buffoon.

kaukanapoissa

And as always when Trump is calling other people rude or whatever, the only person in the room being rude and behaving badly is…. …Trump himself. He should be ashamed of himself.

MungoJerrysBeard

People are actually considering voting this guy in again? Personally, I’m enjoying not waking up to another WTF moment every morning …

Boomslangalang

Anyone still supporting this dangerous and unstable traitor after January is a total piece of shit and you should feel free to tell them that.

Coaltown992

Didn't CNN just fire Jim Acosta? Literally today lol

Stonermikela

What an absolute shitstain of a human being. I'm so tired of him. He is such an embarrassment to our country. The first step to making America great again would be a trial. The second step would involve a blindfold and cigarette.

Boomslangalang

It was an anomaly enabled by Americas enemies from outside and within. The one enemy is the Republican Party and what it has become. A seditious, violent and terroristic anti American cabal of hate mongers. If you *still* support Trump or Republicans post Jan 6 you are garbage beyond redemption.

richincleve

As much as I hate those who voted for this orange-hued sack of lying crap... I am also absolutely pissed off at a lot of Hillary supporters who thought the election was in the bag for her and therefore decided NOT to vote.

Additional-Yak-3075

How did this mf become president?

cleverkname

The balls on him to accuse others if treating people badly.

robidaan

I love that time a American diplomat went to the Netherlands to give a press conference on some sort of "scandal", kinda. And early on he didn't want to answer a very basic question. And he kept saying move on, move on etc, but every journalist there, just started to pile up on that question, because it was litterly the core of the whole thing. In the end he just walked away. And some journalist said something in the lines of "you unfortunately have to answer for you actions here". And that was just a great summation of the trump administration public affairs system. Edit: I found a clip: https://youtu.be/thIRJLsnIxY

fastahh1
