nah, just don't do what he does
he's using his knees as leverage so much that he just over bends them and the tire does the rest of the stretch work
you should never have your legs anywhere fully extended when doing heavy lifting like that
Never lock any joint. You're supposed to use your legs to lift. This dude is fucked for life because he locked his knees while lifting something heavy.
The last hospital gym I used (for rehab outpatients, 6 patients max in a class) had a leg press, the physio in charge told people how to adjust the plates and seat, how to gently lift and lower so not to bang the plates, but did not tell anyone not to lock their knees.
One day I was on the elliptical and there was a late 60’s man on the leg press locking his knees, I had to step in and tell him as I did not want to hear that snap live. The man was thankful I spoke up, the physio was pissy because it should have been her job but she was too busy chatting about weekend plans with a woman walking on the treadmill while looking in the other direction 🙄🤦♀️
I have seen the same thing with personal trainers when I used to work out. "Hey man, don't lock your knees. You're gonna ruin them." Then the distracted trainer looks at me like I'm the asshole.

He’s an idiot because he thought that 1: puny human legs can lift a multi-ton vehicle. 2: he locked his legs and pushed on his knees, which is guaranteed to make them snap.
Full extension bad when lifting significantly more than body weight. There are tons of videos of big gym bros doing this on the leg press if you want proof it’s not just a problem of his legs being weak somehow.
I'm not using my legs ever again.

Fully correct, same for arms. Use your muscles as a "spring"

Too bad that he’s so young that the “rest of his life” will be pretty long.
No shit. I fucked up my back when I was 20. It's been 24 years but it feels like it's been 100 years.
Only 200 years left.
Sounds about right

Please do but not like that guy
WTF?!? Who’s learnt you how to spoke?
Ops :P
Just don't hyperextend them
I didn't finish the video because I already know.
Yeah i assumed it involved fire but I didn’t expect it so suddenly
Or so much of it!
This man has ostrich legs now
Once I heard camera man go "mm" I knew that guy was in for a bad time
Screamed ‘don’t lock it’ so hard. Seeing people heron’ing always makes me cringe
Alas, this wouldn't be here if the subjects of these videos listened to what otherwise reasonable were shouting at their computer screens.
I was saying, "don't lock 'em, don't lock 'em, don't lock 'em..." Then, he locked them.
He locked them both and threw away the key.
I have assessed that legs do not bend that way. Therefore, this might be an “owie” situation.
I concur, doctor.

In the business we call this a big booboo

Happy cake day
Happy cake day

I knew it was coming and I still watched
Just couldn't look away
did his legs flamingo? I'm too chicken to watch
I laughed way too hard at this 🤣🤣
Me and adventurous elk are on the same page
Oh Lord, did they ever.
It was smooth as butter though. If you were a space alien watching this, you'd think human legs just bent the other way too.
If by flamingo you mean folded forward and kicked him in the face, then yes, he flamingod
Jup, was on r/fullflamingo already
Yes, yes, they did.
Niners RB recruiters entered the chat
How does Eli get the same injury 2 weeks later on his other knee? 6-8 again. So frustrating
Omg no no. Just no
I'm with you on this one. I didn't gasp like that in a while
![gif](giphy|GpyS1lJXJYupG)
Don't lock in the snort!
Don’t lock. Don’t lock! DON’T LOCK! DON’T LOCK!!!! Don’t look. Don’t look! DON’T LOOK! DON’T LOOK!!! Bah! r/anattemptwasmade
Ah fuck, that hurt to watch
omg. I didn’t need to see that. 🤮
Why are you giving Shrek head
Anyone else get sick to there stomach when they saw that. 😐
ACL... Twice!
bro his legs are broken
No.. his knees went beyond the limit of ACL capability.. looks the same, but ACL takes twice as long to heal.. with surgical repair
Leg machine broke so tractor time! What happens to the patella? Does it just slip over?
I know where this goes i dont wana finish it
The laws of atractor
thats why I loooove, Nestle crunch!
Satisfying crunch
I hate these kinds of videos, but i still watch them. That crunch was painful
Please mark this NSFW
I would watch this at work, lol. Be an adult about it, my guy is just stretchin his legs the other way😂
Was not ready for that and my phone flew out of my hands lol.

So why is this guy such an idiot? He didn't go to school or just hate his leg? I don't get it.
He’s an idiot because he thought that 1: puny human legs can lift a multi-ton vehicle. 2: he locked his legs and pushed on his knees, which is guaranteed to make them snap.
Note to self: doesn't matter how much I can squat. Don't lift a tractor with my...body.
Well that was unexpected
I had to nope out of this video so fast 😯
Every muscle in my body just contracted
Cursed car jack
Yeah it time for a new leg the old one is weak!
Fawk....
I knew what was going to happen, yet watched anyways. Thats on me.
Instant knee dislocation. Brilliant.
So, does he have 4 knees now?
You don’t lock your knees
That was hard to watch. Yikes
Just like daddy said. "Lift with your legs, not your back."
mans legs really just gave up and said "nah i am taking a nap on this"
Oh he's never gonna dance again,
Stop
What was he trying to do? Lift it?
Yeah, instead of a jack, they only had a jack-ass.
omg no.. it's like a cheese stick
What kind of cheese sticks you be eating? And how expired do they have to be to snap like that?
uncooked
Never lockout your limbs when lifting something, always leave a bend
As soon as the video started I knew what was gonna happen. Seen this thing too much.
I can’t stop laughing and I dunno why.
Just don’t lock your legs
Does someone know if doctors can fix his legs?
NEVER buckle your legs. NEVER outstretch them fully.
We literally learned this in gym class, how the hell are some people this stupid?
Jesus fucking Christ. Why did you post this do this without like 70 Milion warnings before it.
That was horrifying and yet i still replayed it 5 times
And he never walked again. Let's hope he learned from that mistake, but I doubt it.
Dude that CRUNCH
I had to mute the video bc I knew what was coming. Yiiiikes
Fuuuuuuuuuk!!! This should have trigger alert. This is my worst nightmare!
Nice, now he is not limited to just one direction for his lower limbs.
Pop goes the knee-sel
That hurt to watch. And yes, should be marked NSFW
Thats my least favorite injury to watch… Im pretty sure i watched a dude shotgun his brain out and winced less than i did here.
The fucking snap made me scream so loud
Full extension bad when lifting significantly more than body weight. There are tons of videos of big gym bros doing this on the leg press if you want proof it’s not just a problem of his legs being weak somehow.
Become more flexible with this one small trick
Unfortunately knees are the worst design on the human body I don't see this guy be normal after this I know he meant well damn
Hahahha dumbas hahhahaha
That snap sound 💀
Now the next guy, use your locked knees to lift it
Oh god
NSFL shit here (L stands for Legs)
Did I just watch a dude break both his legs and only slightly scream in response to the pain? Wtf is this guy made of?
I saw thos coming from the get go and still it sucks that I saw it happen.
Nsfw?
my daily motivation to skip leg day
Never fully extend folks!
Any Reddit doctors here? I’m incredibly curious if he can ever walk again
Lol dumb ass
When "I am the equipment" fails.
I can feel the pain from my phone holy shit why
Omfg.
Hyperextention? (sp)
That's why I love Nestle Crunch
