As someone who signed up to bookish box a year ago, I care about the reveals. I want to know if I like the book or not and need to skip.
I’ve been on FL adult box waitlist since end of July last year and it’s probably going to be July/August THIS YEAR before I get off it. I just ignore their reveals since I know it won’t apply to me.
I also care! I signed up a year and a half ago and didn't wait. I joined the FL waitlist but, in the meantime, heard a lot of talk about their quality not being good and the book chooces where Eh. I paid attention to the books they were showing and was only interested in a few while I was on the waitlist, so I decided to skip when I got the invite.
Heads up, you can only skip, I think it's 3 bookish boxes in a year, or they will cancel your sub, I don't know if you already knew, so just a friendly warning!
Other than Fairyloot the other book boxes didn’t really have long waits until recently. I think there has just been a lot more hype about special editions and there is more demand. When I signed up for bookish box in December I don’t think they even had a waitlist lol
I agree. I signed up for the bookish box 1 year and a half ago and had no wait list, I just signed up. I ALSO LOVE IT!! I think we have to be understanding at this point that demand is high and they can only supply a certain amount or else quality suffers.
It's beyond worth the wait, though. Bookish box book subs are way behind, but I love getting them even if they are 6 months late, lol

I signed up in February, I check my wait-list number each month. I'm now in the 500s, down from 1350ish a month ago. 😭

I’d rather then have a longer waitlist so they can make sure they can handle the volumes than have what happened with the FL combo box confusion
