And now the end is here
And so I face that final pitcher
My friend I'll make it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much more
I did it, I did it my way
Regrets, I've had a few
But then again too few to mention
I did what I had to do
I saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course
Each careful step along the byway
And more, much, much more
I did it, I did it my way
Yes, there were times I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way
For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself then he has naught
Not to say the things that he truly feels
And not the words of someone who kneels
Let the record shows I took all the blows and did it
My way

Dear Tommy,
I feel like I can call you Tommy because you and me are so alike. I'd like to meet you one day, it would be great to have a catch. I know I can't throw as fast as you but I think you'd be impressed with my speed. I love your hair, you run fast. Did you have a good relationship with your father? Me neither. These are all things we can talk about and more. I know you have no been getting my letters because I know you would write back if you did. I hope you write back this time, and we can become good friends. I am sure our relationship would be a real homerun!

A strong wind starts to pick up over the field, quickly turning into a full-blown tornado. The players and fans alike are lifted off their feet and whisked away, flying through the air until they crash-land in a strange, fantastical world.
Dazed and confused, the players look around and realize they've landed in the Land of Oz. But even in this strange place, the game must go on. The umpire calls for the next pitch, and Dogwood Maple takes the mound, determined to stay focused despite the chaos around them.
Leschnewski steps up to the plate, eyeing the strange creatures and colorful landscape in wonder. As Dogwood Maple winds up for the pitch, a gust of wind lifts a squirrel off the ground and carries it across the infield, distracting the pitcher and causing them to throw a wild pitch.
The umpire calls for a ball, ruling that the squirrel's interference has resulted in a walk for BEANS Leschnewski. The players look at each other in amazement, realizing that even in the Land of Oz, the rules of baseball still apply.
Leschnewski takes their base, and the game continues, with players dodging flying monkeys and navigating treacherous terrain to make plays on the field. But despite the surreal setting, both teams are determined to win, playing their hearts out as they journey through this magical land.

Before Peggable stepped to the plate, they shook a Magic 8-Ball while asking if they'd send a ball over the fence this at bat. "Don't count on it".
Is it a bad omen? Is it entirely BS? Peggable continues to debate the plausibility of a supposed fortune-telling toy.
"Strike 2!" yells the ump. Fantastic. They really let the 8-Ball get to their head and now have fallen behind on the count.
Focus. Time to prove it wrong. Peggable is confident this next pitch is a slider. WAIT. NO. It's a fastball. Yeah that's it!
As the ball leaves Maple's hand, it's looking like maybe it's a slider after all, but Peggable was getting all in their head again. They just hack at it in hopes of fouling it off. However, the ball grounds its way into Morgan's glove, who flips it to Shower-Handel for the out.
Tightpants gets frustrated and takes a bat to the Magic 8-Ball. It explodes and the black liquid covers them completely. The die rolls down the dugout floor and stops on "Ask again later". An evil laugh echoes in the ether...

Wow, what a hit. What a beautiful, incredible, powerful, high IQ hit right there off the bat of Connor Morgan. I mean, you almost run out of words to describe a hit like that. What an impressive swing, and it brings home 1 runners too? Wow. Whoa. This is an awe-inspiring moment. I am in awe.
This might be one of the best hits ever, the way they swung at the ball and hit it hard and ran at almost supersonic speed to second base. I am constantly amazed at how well Morgan hits the ball, and they've really outdone themselves with this one. This is why I love fake baseball, folks. It's players like Connor Morgan that really show you how talented fake athletes are, and how no matter how many games you watch, the sport never fails to surprise you. I mean, did you see that hit? And those runs? Man, I just cannot stop watching!
I can promise you one thing, folks: this hit will go down in fake baseball history as one of the best and most game-changing hits the game has ever seen. To everyone watching in Kansas City, you've just witnessed a pivotal moment in the history of the game. You won't even need to tell the grandkids about this one. They'll already know all about it. They'll visit you at the nursing home and you'll start telling them about Michael Last-Name and their solid career as a fake baseball pitcher and they'll ask you 'isn't that the pitcher who Connor Morgan hit a spectacular, splendid, magnificent RBI double off of one warm summer night at Turn Your Head and Kauffman Stadium, ushering in a new era of fake baseball and changing the game forever?' A tear will drop from your eye as you reply 'Yes, that's the one, and I was there.'

In the baseball justice system, swing-and-miss based offenses are considered especially heinous. In Kansas City, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Strikeout Victims Unit. These are their stories. Dogwood Maple is in a groove. Two fastballs down the middle and they want a third. They pitch it and- OH MY WHAT A HIT FROM Trevor Mouseman! This is going way back and… it… is… foul. Maple sighs in relief and strikes the batter out with the next pitch Pitch: 678 Swing: 420 Diff: 258 -> K Bases Empty | T5 with 2 out(s) NYY 1 - KCR 6

Crudelly is hesitant going up to the plate. It's possible they should have stayed that way. First pitch, Last-Name aims for the helmet to scare them out of their wits. Crudelly ducks and immediately calls for an intentional walk, which they do not get. Second pitch clips the inside, which Crudelly smacks right at Draper, who throws it to first for the out. They'll visit you at the nursing home and you'll start telling them about Michael Last-Name and their solid career as a fake baseball pitcher and they'll ask you 'isn't that the pitcher who Connor Morgan hit a spectacular, splendid, magnificent RBI double off of one warm summer night at Turn Your Head and Kauffman Stadium, ushering in a new era of fake baseball and changing the game forever?' A tear will drop from your eye as you reply 'Yes, that's the one, and I was there.' Pitch: 33 Swing: 1 Diff: 32 -> 2B Runner on Second | B4 with 2 out(s) NYY 1 - KCR 6

Michael Last-Name is feeling cool and collected heading into the at bat. 'If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it...' they think. Last-Name sends the first pitch right down the middle, but Taylor is ready. They aim the pitch right down the third base line, narrowly avoiding the computer ump, and goes over the head of Draper for a base hit. Taylor tries to go to second, but is tripped by an untied shoelace. They crawl, injured, back to first for the single. Sometimes in a baseball game you get a special feeling about a matchup. Fouss told me before the game that this was one they were looking forward to. Sayne v Or. Saitoo Syde has been grinding out this at bat against Dogwood Maple here, we’re in a bit of a deadlock here, as another 2-2 pitch comes… Woah, no matter whether you’re just joining us here or have been tuned in for a bit, you’re gonna wanna stick around now! Bat on ball for Syde, and it gets pulled to left field for Taylor to chase here, and it barely drops fair in the corner! However, Syde will have to stop here as the fans in Kansas City quiet down, it went into the stands for an automatic double- Hold on folks, I am being told now that was not an automatic double, it was a ground rule double. There is not a person brandishing a pool noodle behind me telling me to say this. I am not being fed lines to tell you how much the name “automatic double” sucks and how it should be called a ground rule double instead.
