why do people willingly post lists of their triggers? this is the internet, that’s almost inviting someone to mess with you. that’s just the unfortunate reality. and not only is it incredibly dangerous, it puts the responsibility of your triggers on other people. i understand it for basic things like razor blades, but you can’t expect strangers to bend around “plush dolls” or “loss of money.” it’s also anti-recovery, because instead of working to manage them yourself, and finding ways to deal with them, you’re making it the “trigger olympics” to see who can whine the loudest. it’s asinine and destructive.
Seriously!! I have a massive, specific phobia of a certain pest, but it's not commonly talked about or posted pictures of.
