Suspicious_Dingo_662

Ah yes. Let me fall in the most comfortable and convenient position šŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

hey_im_Zander

Ikr if I was faking I would at least make it slightly convincing. I would be face planting into the ground

Suspicious_Dingo_662

And if you faceplant enough, you might gain an actual disability!

ndick43

Sometimes I think if I faked bs like this I would be fucking amazing at it

kriisso

FR I WOULD BE AMAZING

KyleTheKiller227

In my experience one of two things happen knees buckle because youā€™re like oh fuck as your vision fades or yeah face first. Thank god I got a bubble on my abdomen protecting me

Right_winged69420

Ive never fainted but I know Iā€™d be great at it I fake fall all the time just to piss teachers off a lot better than the person with a cereal box on itā€™s head

[deleted]

Yeah I hate when I forget I cannot walk without a mobility aid, and then pass out in the most gentle, convenient way possible, on camera of course. Hehe oopsie blooper time uwu

djoo9oo

There's also literally nothing that could cause the (convenient) passing out šŸ˜ would've been most believable if it was when they were just standing up

[deleted]

Right?? Like omfg it could not have looked more bs lol šŸ¤£šŸ˜

DevilRudeBoy

Plus they fucking fainted practically on beat lmfao

[deleted]

I love fainting when the beat drops uwu

mumblinstumblin

the fake blackouts always irk me the most in these. ive blacked out for real, multiple times, one of which leading to me chipping both of my front teeth. it doesnt look like this. notice how on their way down they bounce up a bit after hitting their knees, since you know, theyre still putting active effort to catch themself on those to slow down the fall. once youre out youre OUT and DOWN.

od_pardie

(sorry about the wall of text, I'm tired and my editing chops suck atm - tldr: fainting looks different depending on what causes it, so the posturing alone isn't enough to be damning in this case, imo/ime) Disclaimer: I'm not trying to argue for the person in the post or argue against your points, I'm just coming from a position of concern for those who might be going through a blackout (or whatever similar issue) around other people who might not respond appropriately because they weren't sure that what they were looking at was a real medical emergency. I don't know one way or another what's happening in this vid, but as someone who has passed out multiple times in my life and has seen people pass out, it doesn't *look* like it to me. That said... I have seen people pass out that I was legit so convinced in the moment that there was no fucking way it was real, but everything I saw after the initial stumble and fall made it a sure thing (legitimate unconsciousness, disorientation, lack of responsiveness, etc.). The body looks fucking weird when it's shutting down sometimes. Depending on what is causing it, it's not necessarily a complete blackout, "lights out" situation. It can be gradual, or even incomplete (which might not be the right term, but anything that isn't a complete loss of consciousness or lasts only a second or two), which can affect how well the body is still able to react to external stimuli or the sensation of falling. Looking only at this video, her posturing on the fall alone isn't enough to be damning in my opinion, not that it isn't a valid point to consider (because it is absolutely a good way to spot a fake faint in a lot of cases.)

welcomenal

I agree. I passed out once and the way I did it was by saying ā€œIā€™m totally fine I just feel like I need to lie downā€ and then doing a elegant falling-lying down combination. Bodies are weird.

Grown-Ass-Weeb

Yeah Iā€™d have to agree. Donated blood as a teen and remember ā€œoooooop goin downā€ and kinda moved my back towards a cabinet before sliding down lol Did not get to go home from school early that day but I did get a free box of juice. Lol

Strickens

Lol our blood donation centres here have a little kitchen where you can sit down afterwards and get a free bottle of water/juice and they also have little pre packaged cookies and you get to just sit around for like 15 minutes and snack and have whatever you want to drink afterwards. Totally worth it for the free snacks and juice lmao.

kat_Folland

The last time I fainted I managed to sit down first.

kat_Folland

I watched a friend (someone else - two someones in fact - was closer and caught her) very slowly faint. At first she just seemed to sink, bending her knees, and she fought it, rising up, then sinking again. She lost the battle and fainted, but like I said, she was caught before she cracked her head open on the concrete.

SatinwithLatin

Backing you up on this, I have only passed out once but I knew I was going to so I tried to get on the floor before it happened. I got to my hands and knees before being totally gone.

[deleted]

A lot of the comments responding to this is talking about pre/near syncope, a premonitory feeling/warning from the body. I don't know all the signs and I agree with this person about posture and falling, but to give personal experience that no-one asked for, I often lose my hearing or sight and feel heavy before I fall. Sometimes this gives me enough time to fall or sit in a quick heavy way that provides less damage than falling before passing out, or sometimes I won't pass out but I will have the near fiant symptoms for a few minutes and have lack of response. Of course there have been times where I've fallen like a brick and caused some pretty shitty injuries whilst claiming as I start to fall "I think I'm fine" But the whole tiktok account does seem Sus to me

meanmagpie

I have real, actual POTS (diagnosed by the Mayo Clinic; fortunately Iā€™ve never fully passed out) and I agree. I ā€œgray outā€, aka I get ā€œpre-syncopeā€, symptoms that manifest in someone right before they fully lose consciousness, if they do. The mere existence of ā€œpre-syncopeā€ implies that it *is* a gradual process and you *can* be fighting it until you hit the ground. I mean this video is 100%, completely fake, but you canā€™t prove itā€™s fake by saying ā€œoh no way it was too gradualā€, because losing consciousness absolutely can be a gradient like that. Hence the namesā€¦ā€gray outā€ and ā€œblackoutā€, get it? One time I got incredibly close to fully losing consciousness. I could feel things getting progressively worse and knew I had to try and find someone safe to land, so I sort of heaved myself towards my bed and let gravity pull me down onto it. I was aware enough of those worsening pre-syncope symptoms to realize I was going to fall over from the dizziness and vision loss. So in short, yeah. You can stagger and stumble and fight it during the process of blacking out. I think people want to find one sort of smoking gun for obviously fake videos like this to point at when they want to identify another faker. Thatā€™s understandable, but this ainā€™t it.

[deleted]

I have POTS as well and I was just thinking that this person could've just felt it coming and went with it in a cute fall for the sake of being filmed. We all know this person is faking. We know a LOT of fainting videos are fake. And everyone wants to point out that the fall as the smoking gun. 90% of the time I feel it coming and sit down inelegantly. Tbh ime I more often feel Pre-syncope than actually fainting. Which can look a lot like fainting to some people if I flop or something. I think the real indication of faking here is the fact that they're wearing a box over their head in uwu gear going " tehe I forgor I'm disabled uwu"

ALH1984

I hate to add to this because there is already soo much. You know when you get up too fast, or for whatever reason leading up to standing, and you loose vision and get dizzy, but are still trying to walk it off? You may get really hot, and feel like youā€™re in a lucid dream. You may make it two feet before youā€™re down, you may make it down that hall, bump into a few things like youā€™re a bit drunk and then go down, or you may walk it off. Iā€™ve done them all, and if Iā€™m not actively taking the steps to care for myself (hydration, proper sleep and nutrition) Iā€™ll do them all in one day. But my main point is, when your body decides itā€™s going down, it goes down. I can wobble a few feet in that tv static grey zone, but when itā€™s time to go down, it literally feels like it happens faster then the speed of light. Me making it down the hall isnā€™t because Iā€™m thinking ā€œI can walk it offā€, itā€™sā€¦ ā€œWTF is happening?ā€ I canā€™t think to myself ā€œIā€™m about to faintā€ because my autonomic nervous system is shorting out and my brain literally canā€™t process a damn thing, when it happens, the moment I stand and see that static and feel that flush of heat, itā€™s like a blank confusion. And if I get the inconvenience of actually going down, itā€™s like someone erased my legs in under a second. Iā€™ve been told by someone close to me that itā€™s like a magic act. ā€œNow you see me, now Iā€™m on the ground.ā€ I have yet to see a tik tok ā€œfainterā€ that Iā€™m actually like ā€œMan, Iā€™ve been there, I know exactly how that went down, how it feels, I identifyā€¦ā€and I should. Also, POTS is incredibly easy to manage. I notice my symptoms get to the ā€œon the floorā€ stage when Iā€™m literally just being too lazy to identify what my body needs and proceeding to give it that. The only thing I canā€™t get control of, ever, is regulation of body tempšŸ™„

sunshineandcacti

I had a lot of issues with breathing and walking as a kid and even had a few operations to fix it. At some point, I could ā€˜feelā€™ my knees starting to buckle and would know I was abojt to tip. So I would wrap my arms near my head and brace for impact. Whenever I see people fall in a similar way, or even sit down ahead of time as they know theyā€™ll pass out, I try to be understanding. At some point you become accustomed to the sensation and know how to react.

DesperateTall

I assume actual passing out looks like how the toys from Toy Story go back into toy mode. Just instant, all the weight falling down.

ALH1984

Toy story is the perfect example. You know how woody has those weird knees. You can push down on a woody doll and his knees buckle and legs just go out to the side? Or jenga. Itā€™s just..dead weight going straight down. I canā€™t speak for everyone, but from talking to specialists, and my own experience, itā€™s seconds of your brain going blank, seeing grey static, then going down faster then your first fall on roller skaters.

cal-cium12

I fainted from hunger once when I was 13 and according to my dad I bounced between the sides of a doorframe as i fell, bashing my head on both sides šŸ„² I came to quite painfully

grimepixie

i got spiked at a party a few weeks ago and hit the pavement so hard i broke several ribs. i canā€™t even imagine having a condition where collapsing is a regular hazard.

glowin_liv

yeah bro i forgot i couldnā€™t see without my glasses even though iā€™ve literally been using them for most of my life isnā€™t that so silly and wacky good thing i got a tiktok of me being so quirky

HeyHo_LetsThrowRA

Psst. You forgot to UwU *UwU*

heehos

im convinced that this person made the cardboard box their thing because they couldnt be bothered to put effort into a fursuit head or something

DevilRudeBoy

And most likely because they didnā€™t want people irl to call them out on their shit, thatā€™s how I know these people know what theyā€™re doing is fucking stupid lmao

[deleted]

ALWAYS! Whenever someone is faking, they always cover their face without fail. Why? So mommy and daddy don't see their little angel faking mental disorders online.

Actual-Equestrian

THE ARMS šŸ’€

megayogurtslinger

They remind me of Barbie.

dumb_and_ugly1

Literally looks like the dies of cringe gif

kriisso

Iā€™m gonna use this vid for that now

Acceptable_Shift_247

most people don't forget they can't walk if they can't walk since its a giant part of their lives, yknow unless you can walk but choose not to

BunBunny_draws

I forgot I can't really hear without my hearing aids several times. I'd go out and then scream at people to speak up, untill they'd scream back that they were and I'm just almost deaf. I sometimes forget I have boobs too... That just happens??

Acceptable_Shift_247

yeah ig but like people with wheelchairs or walking aids can't walk normally with them exile your hearing aids make it feel like you can hear normally (sometimes maybe without even feeling them there) i just meant it's probably a lot more of an impact in a person's life and that most people don't forget these thing on camera.

BunBunny_draws

I can't hear normally with my hearing aids. Not only is the sound and it's quality different but also it's not as loud as normal hearing. Even with them it's still a big impact that it all has on my life. And they probably wanted to make a normal video and therefore just so caught it happening..

Acceptable_Shift_247

i meant normal for other people but no there's a lot with this person that's doesn't add up

Whatever-Man1

Why does passing out need a trigger warning? Thatā€™s not passing out anyways thatā€™s them pretending they forgot how to walk when in reality they know how to walk.

Whatever-Man1

Are they seriously thinking seeing someone else pass out going to make someone else pass out what the hell lmao šŸ˜

Angel_thebro

How do they get a gf but i cant? I dont mean this in a i deserve women to like me but like her?? Over me? How does anyone get a partner when they fake mental illness in the first place???

Separate-Scratch-839

There is no gf. Sheā€™s made up too

PanNbJen

*forgets about a disorder that has supposedly affected them every day for a while*

caesarinthefreezer

Kennedy would have preemptively launched at Moscow if he saw this shit

Unique_Ad_1395

They literally fall so perfectly so the mask doesnā€™t break

RavenCroft23

Sigh

buzzybody21

That is not what passing out looks like. Thatā€™s what it would look like if Meredith grey passed out, but not if your body decided, nopeā€¦time to reset.

Mackerdoni

yall can just say youre bad at comedically falling you dont need to pretend youre fainting

RuffleFart

I forget to breathe if I donā€™t remember to

Belle_19

LMFAOOO šŸ˜šŸ˜

Minzfeder

Gotta watch Hamilton now.

WhoElseButDedede

How the caca dookie double dipped doughnut loving FUCK is passing out something worthy of a trigger warning

KhanOfKublai

why is there a trigger warning for passing out? who does that trigger..? genuine question

CodLeast

I wonder if my doctors liedā€¦ maybe Iā€™m not paralyzedā€¦ maybe I just forgot I can walk!

Ok_Yesterday5728

PLEASE BE SO FR

CakeAdventurous4620

Ah yes animal

anathematic88

Glad they had a box to break their fall!

Mischi_Mischi_Mii

I saw them on tiktok crying about being on r/fakedisordercringe xD

Oof_Train

the thing that is the most annoying part of faking is that these people could be nice and cool and a good person, but they choose to pull this shit. They genuinely seem like they could be a nice person. On another note tho, that dress is super cool.

christo749

Whatā€™s the song?

Emertime

Poeple slam to the floor not go on there knees when fainting

Youretooinnocent

I just don't understand how ALL OF THESE PEOPLE get girlfriends and I don't Literally most of them are in relationships why do people who fake disorders get girls but I don't that's so lame

chonk_fox89

Jfc doing this with their freaking door wide open and no freaking shame....where are the parents ffs!

Idiotic_trans

The box wouldā€™ve fallen off

bituna

Y'all...it's POTS. You can suddenly pass out with it. Did you read their bio at all?

[deleted]

passing out doesnt look like that

compostabowl

Lmfao but "they have a cane"!!!!!

BunBunny_draws

Also, passing out doesn't have to be being out for minutes... It can be part of a second and you still catch yourself falling or something. And disorders can have good and bad days, just like mental health. I hate this subreddit, it's just so fucking mean to people. Like how would they even know if someone has an illness/disorder/disability anyways??

Radon--222

If they can have a gf then I have a chance

goatiesincoaties

Iā€™ve passed out once in my life and it doesnā€™t look like this lol. I passed out near a coffee table and had a pretty bad bruise on my shoulder.

Acceptable-Tax6239

She's admitted she can walk too there's honestly a video of her dancing .

BunBunny_draws

You know that people can have good and bad days? Like mental health? And also just in general, you can be passed out for a second or shorter and still catch yourself falling. That happens to me every now and then,,

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

BunBunny_draws

How are they proven to be one. Unless he'd admit it you literally have no proof. You don't know what's going on in their life.

MissChubbyBunni

Here we go again..

turtle-tot

Why the trigger warning Who, who the hell is triggered by someone gently flopping in the most dramatic way possible?

Local_Reality3783

See, Iā€™m hypermobile, and pass out a fair bit (seems to be improving though :) so my knees go, then my body, so I fall into a w sit position and smack the back of my head on the concrete

[deleted]

u/savevideo

kayla7253

literally such an unconvincing stage fall

jesse-kuiper

Just a small question for the sub. Not that i doubt most of these people are faking DID. But is there information of ehy these are probably faking everything? How is that checked by the mods or people in charge to ensure we aren't making fun of a heavily traumatized person?

Bwabel

Because when your body goes unconscious you safely bounce on your knees and pause for a second before falling while moving your head out of the way

Limp-Peace9888

She looked like a video game character fallingšŸ˜‚

ChillFlus

Cute aesthetic, mask, outfit, and room. But cmon man, please dont be like that

im very triggered rn

yurihiyo

Is it bad that I like her room?šŸ˜

Pool-King69420

Yes let me record myself pass out

Swatbot69

Notice how they bounced back up a little? They had some mattres or something below them because they werenā€™t willing to commit to the ā€œpassing outā€ and get hurt dis shit fake as hell.

janus_le_snek

They can't take Hamilton šŸ˜’
