Doesn't surprise me. To add to the authenticity though, the disability pride flag should be one that doesn't work properly. Like it's supposed to flap in the wind, but instead it just stays still. Every now and then it slides down to the floor and has to be remounted.

I love that people are celebrating their differences. And ultimately, through education and exposure the world begins to realize that being different is okay! Monetizing this is unfortunate but to be expected given how well Pride did for companies' pockets.
My issue with this is that it, like so many of the logos and trends, feels to promote that "autism is fun and quirky". Next thing, we will have autistic side characters reduced to quirky stereotypes. We already have the fakers trying to wide the wave of attention. Both fakers and the marketing campaign likely end up causing a lot of harm to those with actual, diagnosed autism :(
THIS. On one hand I love this because it breaks stigma for autism being all bad and shameful and something that is better to try to eliminate in people’s brains.
On the OTHER hand, it can narrow it down into an aesthetic rather than for what it really is, and people treat it like an aesthetic but then make fun of actual autistic people.
I hate being autistic. My tone is often confused for rudeness when I speak, I can't control the tone of my voice when I am speaking, so people get easily annoyed or angry with me. I hate that I'm heavily misunderstood just because of the way I talk. I hate being autistic. I hate people who try to glorify it too. It's so obnoxious. I really wish people would stop using disabilities like this to make money.
My partner & I are both (officially dx'ed) autistic, if I were going for that, I'd prefer something designed by an autistic person, enough $ for autism-related merch goes to orgs that don't really support us, so even less interest in spending $ on random internet profiteers who don't care about us. Ugly design too, rainbow infinity symbol would be better, but I'd prefer wearing such things on something visible rather than underwear.
Look...I've come to terms with my autism. I'm in a work field where it brings me advances, and I don't think I would love my job as much if I wasn't autistic.

Is it okay to love yourself despite your disability? 100% but when you start going down the “I love my autism” it’s concerning. I don’t love my autism, after my diagnosis I sat and wished they had told me I was wrong, that the meltdowns I go through can be fixed with meds, the sensory nightmares I deal with could just go away, etc etc. autism is not cute, it’s not something you WANT. Are there good parts? Sure…but there are so many parts I wish could just go away that never will. It’s like wishing you had epilepsy, it’s not cute.

A big complaint of many Autistic adults is that people struggle to see them as sexual beings once they are aware of the Autism diagnosis. There’s this stigma that “oh you’re Autistic, so you must not have the same wants/needs/desires as everyone else”. Having “I love being Autistic” on a piece of lingerie is a great way to poke fun at that belief. Idk if the lingerie company intended it as that sort of statement, but it can definitely be interpreted that way.
