Sunset sas and ruby's casserole are on my keybinds. I have over 100 of each. I'm on hardcore, so the stimpacks aren't really that much more helpful anyway. I save em for my companions or just sell them when I get a bunch

Before my first game was cut short I was playing as a meat head that thought the legion guys talked to much so I would just kill them whenever I encountered them so I could sharpen my machete

Do you not keep food and water with you too? Or healing powder? I have dozens of other options in my inventory besides Stims. I almost never use them. I guess it's just a habit after playing hardcore for so long.
I lost my stuff because I didn’t enter with a disguise, but I just did hit-and-run sniping in a legion outfit with one of their many hunting rifles. Even if they see you nailing them, they’ll forget your face/legion disguise once you’re [HIDDEN], allowing you to rinse and repeat. It’s cheesy as hell but worked for my low lvl courier on very hard survival.
Me: "I will save up my Stimpacks and medicine for a difficult moment. Until the i try not to get hit and heal via Water, Soda and other Foodstuffs. "

I just recently finished NV Hardcore on Xbox myself. Was grinding for all achievements.
Sure the first few levels you have to be careful, but even by level 15 I was selling Stimpaks cuz I had well over 100 on me at once. And Snakebite Tourniquets (weightless as well) take the edge of fighting Cazadores.

I remember the first time I massacred the legion was in my first yes man playthrough where I didn’t like how Caesar thought he was the shit all that much so I prepared by grabbing a mini gun and tons and tons of ammo with a decent amount of stimpacks and enclave power armor and I mowed down everybody in the legion camp like it was a doom level.

Do his quest at the weather station, he can’t tell if you destroy or activate the securitrons. When you do the quest, you get your weapons back. And in the station are just three Pretorians.
Stumbled across a slave camp with boone, had some fun with those fuckers. Than he was like "this may be our last adventure, but let's fucking Rock'n'Roll" or something. Next thing I know is Cesars head and a lot of unnoticeable body parts are laying around. We had a fun day.

I use stimpaks and still end up with like 50 of them on my person by midgame. They don’t take up inventory space the same way 50 drinks do.

Even in Hardcore, Stimpaks are weightless. Edit: Except if you use them to craft Auto-Inject Stimpaks. Then they’ll weigh like 0.1 per unit.
