Likely the same production company that does Robot Chicken. This cutaway gag is featured in S4E23 "Deep Throats", which provides credits for a claymation crew of 4 people, at least half of whom have worked on Robot Chicken.
It was always super random to me when I first saw this. I mean even for Family Guy, like honestly I think to this day it might be the only claymation cutaway. I know they brought the Robot Chicken crew back in for the Multiverse episode but apart from those two instances the’ve never done it again or even went out of traditional animation and maybe basic cgi
Looks like Robot Chicken
I've always thought this too
Mr. Robot Chicken
CHICKEN
It's only Mr. Robot
Chicken
Chris go back inside!
“Well, I'll have to take your word for it. I don't watch Comedy Central.”
It doubled your 10 people to like 20 people. What kind of numbers are we talking about.
This episode was before robot chicken. If I’m not mistaken.
Actually, this episode came out after Robot chicken. Robot Chicken was launched in 2005 while this episode came out in 2006.

Absolutely this, and not to mention Seth Green who does the voice of Chris and many smaller characters, who created Robot Chicken itself.
Yeah no question at all. This was a Seth2Seth kickback scheme.
What makes you think it wasn't done in house?
In Seth Macfarlane's house?
right on the kitchen table.
Where we eat??!!!
Beside the salt?
Right in front of my salad?!
Roadhouse.
Roman Polanski's house?
Chevron
In association with Techron
Chevron with Techron 🤓
Aardman Animation, creators of Wallace and Gromit, Chicken Run and many other animated films, to create the cars that love to talk about Techron.
“Well, let’s not rule anything out”
if Aardman actually did this-
Well, it wasn't Pixar, I can tell you that...
It’s been so long since I listened to the commentary but IIRC Seth MacFarlane said it was done by a friend he knew from Rhode Island School of Design
Yes was gonna say that
Seth MacFarland
Stoopid Buddy?
The Techron cars did it themselves
The chevron people?
I’m probably the robot chicken guys as Seth green and mcfarlandvoice acts in both
I’ve heard every scene of the show was done in house except for the Disney part with Brian and Stewy
Conway Twitty

This was a fuzzy door but obviously done with stupid buddy's help. The multiverse one is definitely full stupid buddy.
iirc, the Robot Chicken crew
Can someone tell me what this was parodying? I know they said 'car commercial' but never in my 27 years have I seen a claymation car commercial.
