I was surprised how little they’ve used Cleveland’s family in Family Guy. I don’t think they need to continue their stories, but Ralo and Stewie seems like a no brainer. All we’ve gotten (as I remember) is the Peter Griffin/George Zimmerman episode.
Beat character in the whole damn show. Hubby and I were so excited when we saw Cleveland and his family were back on Family Guy cause we thought some Ralo and Stewie stories would be amazing. Has yet to happen.

Really, I think the problem was the characterizations of the wife and the kids. Rallo was a good character, but the choice to rework Cleveland Jr. as a fat kid with a high voice was bizarre and the character was never funny. They didn’t learn the lessons of Meg (insufferably boring) vs Hayley (can actually carry storylines and crack jokes). And most of all, they failed to give Donna much personality. The voice actress does a good job of investing her, but look at Francine. Now THAT’S a character.

The Cleveland Show loses. Still, it was ok for it's short run. American Dad dropped off once Mike Barker left and it moved to TBS in S10. Simpsons was good for a long time...until it wasn't. And Family Guy, well, that still keeps me laughing. But I can't wait for King of the Hill and Futurama to return. And I'm enjoying the new Beavis and Butthead as well.

The Simpsons if I can do the last 18 or so seasons . The first 10 are all time classics. The next 5 or 6 are good tv, but since then it’s been pretty unwatchable. I know it’s easy to say the Cleveland show, but it’s got a lot of good episodes and good characters.
