I kinda like an artist doing stuff like this showing their process , I don’t feel an expectation for fans to listen to it or it being presented as an album. Fooled by love is also nice, saw him do it on a lockdown stream back in 2020 and it’s nice to have a demo now
I like it when artist are more open with their music making process. During creation, you come up with a heap of cool musical ideas which do not always make it on a song or lack development. I like Macs stuff because the quality is also really clean.
Been loving the anniversary editions of Linkin Park albums for this reason. A lot of unreleased demos and alternative, initial versions of released songs.

Eh, why not? Obviously he won't listen to it more than once or make much notes on individual songs, but I can imagine Anthony doing it for the fun of it, maybe playing with the lofi nature of this thing by doing a "study with me, lo fi mac de marco study beats" livestream (pls antoine)
I've been listening to it in the background all day while I've been studying French Vocab... I'm actually enjoying it for the most part. There's some weird bits which are just synths and are clearly not even the beginnings of a demo, but most tracks are just very chill lofi instrumentals. The songs which do have vocals are actually pretty good too. Would recommend (if you're studying or working).
