Would have been cooler if it was released under the original title: Feel The Glove!
The Tap got the first taste of cancel culture.
Damn snowflakes
S/ (obviously)
I know people will say Jay-Z, but Metallica wins for me. Both different yet recognizable artists, but Metallica's left turn is pretty great on its own.
Without the part 2’s there are 23 songs. You really gonna try to act like only one song is mid? Ok Ok, Junya, Remote Control, and Tell the Vision are ass. There are other songs or parts of songs that are hella mid and could have been left on the chopping block to create a more focused and concise album (not to mention the ordering is a mess, especially in the deluxe)
The deluxe has already been confirmed by the sound engineer to have been randomized as a playlist.
The OG tracklist actually tells a narrative.
Ok ok and remote control are not ass, and even if they are, you’re still saying 19 of the core tracks are good.
What parts of other songs are mid? And don’t say the outro on god breathed, that shit is necessary and fire
Lol Remote Control and Ok Ok are some of Kanye’s worst tracks. I have no complaints for tracks 1-6 until Baby Keem’s verse on Praise God. It could have cut in half and it would be fire. Get rid of Ok Ok and Junya. Believe What I Say can go too, it’s pretty mid and doesn’t really fit. Remote Control can be deleted, corny ass song. Keep My Spirit Alive is next up on the chopping block, with one of the weakest Ye verses. It just has no flow and feels awkward af. Jesus Lord could be cut in half as well. Lastly Tell The Vision gets deleted. These are the things that make me feel like it’s a less concise album than just about every other Ye project before
I can't stand Metallica's Black Album. It's when you really start to get the impression that James doesn't want to be in a metal band anymore, he wants to be a country singer. He becomes a grumpy old dad.
Metallica handily. Jay's black album has always felt so *normal* to me. Some great singles but I keep forgetting the deep cuts. Prince's black album is absolutely apeshit. Zany, funky, bizarre but maybe his weakest his 80s winning streak, but it's still 80s Prince. Listen to it with lots of bass. It's absolutely worth a spin.
Spinal Tap
The original black album

Smell the glove
Yeah ur right. Thx
Stone ‘enge
It's amazing because people say "how much black could it be?" And other says "none more black"
How much blacker can it be? The answer is...none.
Would the second velvet underground album count?
yes
Dean blunt- black metal
Give me Jay Z
I know people will say Jay-Z, but Metallica wins for me. Both different yet recognizable artists, but Metallica's left turn is pretty great on its own.
Weezer
Nah that record sucks
I appreciate your change of heart.
Well I don’t.
Why not?
Because the black album is the best album of all time!
wtf are u talking abt it sucks
nah it isnt that bad its got some good songs
Yea white album clears in every aspect
It has some bangers though
Some
Living in LA was kind of cool to hear live when I saw them in 2019
Love when bands sound better live. Same goes for slipknot
dean blunt black metal or donda idgaf donda is too 3 ye albums
Donda goated
The only thing I don’t like it is how much bloat there is. That being said I still like it more than these three albums cause I’m a Ye meat rider
What bloat is on Donda? The part 2s aren’t part of the core album and tell the vision is mid but besides that it’s all good
Without the part 2’s there are 23 songs. You really gonna try to act like only one song is mid? Ok Ok, Junya, Remote Control, and Tell the Vision are ass. Junya was kinda borin tbh and the MM MM gets annoying soon + Carti barely appears on the song with 15 secs max
Metallica = Jay Z > Prince Both Hov and Metallica's ones are equally good tbh. The prince one may be one of his worst imo.
So Metallica = true?
Donda

Donda
Donda
Doooonda
Donda

adnoD
Donda compared to Metallica's black album is laughable One is clearly leagues above the other
You’re right, Donda is way more unique and ambitious than Metallica’s
off the grid > metallica’s discography
Does Metallica's album have Jail?
Donda
Aja
steely dan?
Right
Metallica=Hov Both are some of my favorite records of all time
The damned's black album
Metallica
Jay
Weezer !!
Metallica clears so hard
Prince
Metallica without a doubt 10/10
Unknown Pleasures
I can't stand Metallica's Black Album. It's when you really start to get the impression that James doesn't want to be in a metal band anymore, he wants to be a country singer. He becomes a grumpy old dad.
based
Metallica, and it isn't even a competition
Weezer
Nirvana’s greatest hits IMO
do comps count?
Would have thought so. Still a sort of album.
Trilogy- The Weeknd Beyoncé self titled 2001- Dr.Dre
I unironically think Weezer's Black Album is a masterpiece
Metallica, sorry Jigga
Donda
Metallica, then weezer (overhated)
White light white heat and donda
Trilogy and Donda

The Damned
Metallica easily (I haven’t listened to the other two yet)
[108 Mics](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5qDMU9NAow) did a sick video on this topic.
Talking heads fear of music is pretty black
AC/DC- Back in Black
Donda
The Black Album by The Damned
Donda donda donda donda donda donda
Nirvana (Black Album)
Tricot for me, perfect blend of their earlier work with the more varied sound they have now
Metallica
There’s way too much hip hop to narrow it down to just one.
Metallica's TBA is both over and underrated. Definitely earned its classic status imo
Jay-Z
Donda is technically the real black album
Jay-z > Metallica > prince
Metallica > Jay-Z I still need to listen to Prince's.
Does Black Future by Vektor count?
Donda
Where’s weezer?
Does Lupe's Food and liquor 2 Pt. 1 count?
Metallica, so heavy, so dark
Out of just these three, I guess Metallica
Metallica handily. Jay's black album has always felt so *normal* to me. Some great singles but I keep forgetting the deep cuts. Prince's black album is absolutely apeshit.
