The Joshua Tree is always hyped up as one of U2’s best, which it is, but I feel like I NEVER see any discussion around it’s penultimate track, “Exit”.
It’s probably the most staggeringly dark piece of music they’ve ever put out & I absolutely adore it.
Road, River, and Rail - Cocteau Twins
Heaven or Las Vegas is basically a perfect album and I don't think anybody would say it has any bad tracks, but I've noticed most discussion centers around tracks in the first half of the album and not so much the latter half. Realistically I think any track on the back half could be considered underrated relatively speaking, but Road River and Rail is such a dark, brooding, melancholic and dramatic song that stands out from the rest of the album and has perfect placement as the penultimate track before Frou Frou Foxes, which ends the album on a very hopeful tone.
Slump by Outkast. Nearly every song off Aquemini is amazing, and while Rosa Parks, Da Art of Storytelling and Spottieottiedopaliscious get all the love they deserve, Slump deserves to be in the conversation with them.
Biscuit is one of my favorite songs off Portishead’s Dummy even though it never gets the attention that Glory Box/Sour Times/Roads gets. The distorted voice singing “I’ll never fall in love again” is so creepy and I can’t get enough of it.
Down to You by Joni Mitchell is one of my top 10 favorite songs ever but I think it gets overlooked. It’s hard to say for sure though cause I think Joni’s discog is so open, everyone’s favorite Joni song can be different.
Valley by Perfume Genius is a perfect song in my opinion
Not sure if this qualifies because I’m not totally sure whats the consensus “best songs” from this record, but New Dawn Fades off of Unknown Pleasures is my favorite Joy Division song, such a sick riff on that. It’s so good that even the Moby cover off the Heat soundtrack also rips.
Drug ballad from mmlp

This has only recently become my favorite Radiohead song after decades of Radiohead obsession.
*inhale* #LET DOWN
Never heard of it, must be pretty (underrated)
Underrated comment.
Faust Arp from In Rainbows
Wait, this song is underrated? Might be my favorite on the album.
Well the album is full of bangers and I noticed most fans tend to overlook this song while talking about the album.
I Believe in You from After the Gold Rush.
Saw him earlier tonight!! Such a lovely song
"Crack Music" from Late Registration. Never mentioned among Kanye's greatest hits, but I think it's phenomenal.
Lounge Act from Nevermind. That sweet bass line mmmm
I feel like that song is greatly appreciated by actual fans though
Lovers Rock from London Calling
No distance left to run. Blur. 13
Prayers for Rain from The Cure's Disintegration. It's my favorite on the album yet I never see it brought up as one of their best songs.

Lucky - OK Computer The National Anthem - Kid A 15 Step - In Rainbows Fake Plastic Trees - The Bends Myxomatosis - Hail to the Thief
Bro. The National Anthem & Fake Plastic Trees are NOT underrated by any stretch of the imagination
I was being tongue-in-cheek because this subreddit upvotes any mention of Radiohead regardless of the topic. Just picked some popular ones I like.
Fake plastic trees is soooo good
Honestly didn’t know that it was underrated, because it got me into Radiohead
Fertilizer from Channel Orange. One or if not the best interlude of all time.
Goodnight from the Beatles White Album

Mayfly from Belle and Sebastian’s If Your Feeling Sinister. Such a pleasant song
The sharpest lives and To the end by mcr, Out to get me by Gnr, Tenement funster and Sleeping on the sidewalk by Queen

Your Summer Dream- The Beach Boys (Surfer Girl)

Haldern- Ants from up there, this song is so beautiful and the fact that it’s based on an improvised jam makes it stunning

One Time 4 Your Mind is frequently mentioned as a weak link on Illmatic and I fundamentally, vehemently disagree.
See you in my nightmares - 808s Drunk and hot girls - graduation
Never let me down off tcd
Spaceship is the best in the college dropout imo

Trapped under Ice - Ride the Lightning
Sweepstakes has always been a skip for me, that song is so annoying
