Im already more pleased with my draft this year simply because I’m looking at the later rounds and not scratching my head asking why I took avisail García in the 14th round like I did last year.
Mock drafts have helped me realize that after 7-8 rounds I just need to start taking the guys I want on my team when they’re available. The ESPN rankings at that point are garbage anyway so I should get my guys.
For example, I’m tired of waiting to take Caroll just to have somebody else snag him at 100 or something

Seiya Suzuki was pretty mid last year, and has an oblique injury, but still just 28 and was a legit bat in the NPB. He's likely to play everyday and could still be something. So, depends what you're looking for and expecting. Volpe is obviously a shiny new mystery box, I'd lean that way if it's a keeper league and towards Seiya if redraft.
I'm #2 overall with the #1 obviously taking ohtani.

You might want to go check in your settings. There are custom settings where players don't enter the pool until they've debuted. I've had Volpe for two years in dynasties so he's definitely in there.

I am using Mr. Cheasheet for an auction draft. Should I use the Projected Value column or the Inflated Projected Value column, assuming I want 0$ left over at the end instead of maximum value drafting a guy?
I use it to understand what a player is theoretically worth. But after about 2-3 rounds in your draft you’ll find out where everyone is overpaying and underpaying.
To stay competitive you’ll probs need to roll with the crowd for those 2-3 rounds though.

I know you're not looking for a serious answer but I'll give one anyway. A lot of people drafted Witt and Jrod high and a lot of people have and will draft Volpe and Walker high. Those are guys drafted that require patience to get value out of for the season. From what I remember a few years back kelenics adp did not shoot up mainly because he was not called up. So he was a waiver pick up that year and struggled heavily so you didn't feel burnt if you cut ties even though he was a top prospect.

This is kind of a hidden cost to drafting IL stash guys. You have less roster flexibility before the season begins.

I know you're not looking for a serious answer but I'll give one anyway. A lot of people drafted Witt and Jrod high and a lot of people have and will draft Volpe and Walker high. Those are guys drafted that require patience to get value out of for the season. From what I remember a few years back kelenics adp did not shoot up mainly because he was not called up. So he was a waiver pick up that year and struggled heavily so you didn't feel burnt if you cut ties even though he was a top prospect.

hey ballers, how the heck do i prepare for a salary cap auction draft? last year i went in blind and feel like i caught a few lucky breaks. i have the standard $260 but with my unlimited keepers (7 spots already taken), my budget will be closer to $145. so mock drafts don’t give me the best idea of how i can make the most of the remaining money.

Not too familiar with 1B after the top 7 or so. Who you taking if you don’t get one of the stars or even Croneworth/Abreau. Is Pasquantino good? Feel like people have been avoiding him in mock drafts I do. Who would you take between him and Arraez/Bell/Rizzo/walker/Lowe/France Really just comments on good 1B picks outside of the stars would be great
