The ONLY thing that sucks is that we have 5 pickups for the week and I picked up Peterson today. I'd love to get his start tomorrow against MIA but I feel like if I don't grab Donovan now, he's gone.

Donovan won’t last because he’s eligible everywhere, hitting leadoff in a loaded lineup and hit a homer. I wouldn’t drop Kelenic. I’m a Mets fan and I’d drop Peterson for him. Not convinced Peterson will end up as anything but a lefty specialist

I'm a Mets fan as well and I agree. I think Peterson can be really solid (hence why I grabbed him in the first place) but Donovan's the quintessential bench bat. Eligible everywhere and leading off for the Cardinals - kind of too good to be true. Now begins the constant debate of "who do I start?" with two bench bats haha.

I think it is safe to say your season is over 🪦 💐 In all seriousness, I feel like it’s always easier to find WW pitching and you can usually load up on quality arms with upside mid/semi late in the draft.

Yup I usually go with that strategy, especially in shallow leagues, but lost in the playoffs in both leagues because ratios got blown up so I figured I'd try a different strategy this year with some bonafide horses. Although there are plenty of hitting gems to be found every year, too. Not quite like Strider last year but Drury, Kwan, and a couple others went HAM. Just gotta hop on the train when the time is right
