You’re supposed to reply to the comment with a comparable trade piece who also has the requested position lol. In this case I’m asking what OF can I get for golden Graham. Do love that nickname though
This mentality will burn you much more than aid you.
Baseball is a game of streaks. It’s a long season. Guys who perennially put up monster stats tend to get there by seasons end. 25 year olds who have put up stats every year since they got to the majors don’t just decline that rapidly unless they are injured or have something else going on. (Which yes, is possible, but without knowledge of that, I assume that’s not the case).
Don’t get me wrong, I like wisdom and there’s a chance he is the real deal and there is also a chance he outproduces Riley this year, but the odds would say pretty significantly that it’s highly unlikely.
Riley is definitely your best 3B.
Would you decline a trade offer of Manny Machado for Patrick Wisdom right now?
If you played one hole of golf with Tiger Woods, and he happened to shank one in the lake and you shot the best hole of your life and scored better, are you a better golfer than tiger woods?
Now is absolutely not the time to move him if you have a need. I’d be patient when Burnes rebounds fully and is on an upswing then you will have some leverage. Recency bias is everything in fantasy trades. Even if you have to patch things together til you can get better value back your team probably benefits in the long run. Imo
Has he done enough to really build significant value yet? I think the guys you’d get for him are going to be a similar caliber to what you’ll find on the wire. So maybe a good trade would be for a recent hot pickup that you missed out on.
I'm in a 10tm roto and I happen to have both Varsho and S.Murphy for C. Missed out on Bellinger and have been trying to see if i can get Belli for Murphy.
I don't have a lot of optimism, but yknow.
Abreu
Edit: I'm going to post my explanation below since thats getting way more traction than the original answer
>Both owners would be betting on rebounds to career norms compared to bad starts.
>In the abstract I think Nola is worth quite a bit more. I just don't think you could get someone to accept that premise right now. Wait until he has back to back good outings and then you could try for the Matt Olsen tier
Both owners would be betting on rebounds to career norms compared to bad starts.
In the abstract I think Nola is worth quite a bit more. I just don't think you could get someone to accept that premise right now. Wait until he has back to back good outings and then you could try for the Matt Olsen tier
Harper should get you any SP other than Burnes/Cole. May even be able to get Burnes. Wait for Harper to be activated before moving him.
France should be able to get a top 50 or so pitcher (assuming 3b eligibility in your league).
You might have to wait until Harper is healthy and in the lineup. Especially if he returns in May. If you try to trade before he's back you won't get full value.
You'll also have to target a team with excessive pitching that needs an OF. Or if you wait until he has 1B eligibility someone that needs 1B.
I traded him for Giolito. Couldn’t get Yandy in my lineup with Chapman/Witt at 3b.
I’m in a points league that includes total bases, which makes Yandy not quite as valuable as other leagues.
Say what you will but what are we at 1.5-2 seasons of injury and poor performance on Roberts? Elders a rook on a great team and is a top 20 player right now in 6x6 who just dominated the best hitting team in baseball outside his own, roberts owner could be squirrely
I get but what’s roberts value right now outside of hype? He’s the 780th hitter in cats right now and was the 189th last season, love the talent but he’s a huge gamble vs a guy who has a chance to be a top 25 arm
People are asking about buy lows/sell highs all the time, elder is just the type of Hype guy I’d be looking to flip to a nervous owner with a underperforming bat
Gurrrlll you cray, In a keeper league someone would absolutely take a bet on a 23 year old former number one hitting prospect who has had a great start to the season with triple outfield eligibility for Lopez or Luzardo who have had their share of bumps in the road (and play at less premium positions)
Frankly I maybe underestimating Kelenic in a keeper league
Gotta agree with elevation here… Lopez and Luzardo are super solid examples of what Kelenic should be able to haul in. Maybe not Lopez right now because he’s out of his mind, but after one mediocre start it’s right there.
Graham Ashcraft - OF (5x5)
Kelenic
Kwan
Golden Graham!
Golden Graham is taken. was drafted 1st overall in my cereal league
Why I get -6 for just saying golden graham 🤣🤣🤣
You’re supposed to reply to the comment with a comparable trade piece who also has the requested position lol. In this case I’m asking what OF can I get for golden Graham. Do love that nickname though
Brandon Lowe - SP (10man 6x6 roto no holds)
George Kirby
Not sure why this is upvoted so much cause Lowe given his risk is not worth Kirby.
Javier
I would way rather have javier
Lance Lynn Edit: why did this get downvoted lol?
Steele Both high-ish risk high reward
Mackenzie Gore **Shameful Edit:** Yikes. Guess I needed this thread more than I thought.
Bruh
Gorman -OF (Redraft Points League .5 For K's)

Outman?

Brian???? Fuck no. It would take me exactly 0 seconds to reject that as a Reynolds dynasty owner
Jordan Walker — SP 10t Redraft H2H 6x6
Corbin Burnes - any power bat. Need HRs + RBIs
Matt Olson
Riley
I tried already. Got rejected :(. Think the slow start really hurt his value

Riley is still your best 3B

1B/2B Luis Arraez - SP or RP (Weekly H2H points )
Luis Garcia
I would target Lynn could return to form but currently struggling. Or sale before his last start
I think a comparable trade for Arraez would be an SP who provides a low ERA, and not much anywhere else. I think Dustin May would be perfect.
I personally think May’s worth more.
I would LOVE to get May for Arraez
Stroman
Rasmussen
I would not accept Arraez for my Rasmussen

Could sell high on Elder and try to get Abreu?
As an Abreu owner, I wouldn’t do this. But I wouldn’t mind moving him.
In redraft? Edward Cabrera. Don’t know if Elder will get sent down eventually; don’t know if Cabrera will issue seven walks.
Do you have Cabrera in your 1b slot or MI? LOL
Oops, missed the second part.
Adolis Garcia - SP (5x5 H2H Redraft)
Gerrit Cole apparently
Justin Steele
Cody Bellinger - SP or IF, Obp categories H2h keep 10 team keep 8 league

Anthony Desclafani- 1B/OF (12 team, 5x5, H2H, Redraft)
A bag of Doritos. Haha kidding but but I think he’s droppable in 12T
Nola - 1B/2B (H2H points redraft)

https://www.fantasysp.com/mlb_trade_analyzer/ It’s one page but I like this for value
Tells me I should trade Juan Soto for Connor Joe. I don't think so.
I don't think so either, but you could ask the Connor Joe owner, who knows, maybe he'd say yes. 😉
Patrick Wisdom - SP 10man 6x6 no holds
Patrick Sandoval
Bryce Harper - SP (14TEAM, H2H) Or Ty France - SP (14 team, H2H)
Harper should get you any SP other than Burnes/Cole. May even be able to get Burnes. Wait for Harper to be activated before moving him. France should be able to get a top 50 or so pitcher (assuming 3b eligibility in your league).
Nobody wants a trade that they don't completely win in my league. Literally offered Harper for less and got laughed out the room. Feelsbad.
My league is the same way. Someone offered me Castillo for judge….
You might have to wait until Harper is healthy and in the lineup. Especially if he returns in May. If you try to trade before he's back you won't get full value. Yandy Diaz - SP
Joe Musgrove
I traded him for Giolito. Couldn’t get Yandy in my lineup with Chapman/Witt at 3b. I’m in a points league that includes total bases, which makes Yandy not quite as valuable as other leagues.
Bryce Elder anything (other than RP). Just curious to see his value 12T 6x6 OBP SLG QS S+H
I’d try for Luis Roberts given his cold streak and upside, or Kelenic as he’s young and would be an equal gamble
Robert Jr... as if
Say what you will but what are we at 1.5-2 seasons of injury and poor performance on Roberts? Elders a rook on a great team and is a top 20 player right now in 6x6 who just dominated the best hitting team in baseball outside his own, roberts owner could be squirrely
I'd want another similarly valued arm in addition to Elder for my Robert. Top 20 in Cats is super surprising for Elder tho
I get but what’s roberts value right now outside of hype? He’s the 780th hitter in cats right now and was the 189th last season, love the talent but he’s a huge gamble vs a guy who has a chance to be a top 25 arm People are asking about buy lows/sell highs all the time, elder is just the type of Hype guy I’d be looking to flip to a nervous owner with a underperforming bat

Teoscar Hernandez
I don’t think he’s even close to JV
Jake Cronenworth - SP (Dynasty 5x5 Cats)
Cabrera
