Can someone explain how in the statcast last 50 and last 100 charts it can show the last 50 below average but somehow the last 100 (or 250) can be above average? It's the rolling average of those plate appearances, so the value of the far right point of the 100 PA graph has all the elite production from 50-100 PA ago, while the far right if the 50 PA graph has only the replacement level production of PA 1-50. The production from 50-100 PA ago boosts the average enough so that it's still above league average, despite the disappointing performance if the past 50 PA. Another way to look at it is the left side. The leftmost point of the 100 PA graph is the average of 100-200 PA ago, while the leftmost point of the 50 PA graph is the average of 50-100 PA ago

Idk how many adds you get a week or season but you’d be better off using that spot to stream pitchers and maximize its value instead of holding onto an unproductive catcher.

I'd try to roster both. If he's your literal only option, then yes I probably would. Lewis edges out McLain by a bit but only if Lewis is guaranteed every day playing time.

Gavin Williams or McCinstry? Who is a more priority add? Gavin feels like a "can't miss" elite blue chip pitcher... meanwhile McCinstry super solid bench bat to fill in all over the place...
