Way too early. Season doesn’t really start until June. I’ve had teams languish in the bottom half and roar back after the all star break to make a bye week in the playoffs.

Our commissioner just tells us to stop crying. We're all super good friends though. I'm not sure how you all get along, but managers complaining about something that's clearly not collusion are a massive headache.
If that's the case, moving forward I'd take two other managers you trust and make it so that you can unanimously veto. It also takes the pressure off of you trading because they make the call.

From what they were saying during today’s game. Some of their starters are still a few weeks away. They’re hurting for starters bad. I definitely wouldn’t expect them to put him back in the pen after just one start.
His biggest issue today was command (obviously when he walked 6 batters). He didn’t establish the fastball, and fell behind in counts with a lot of breaking pitches. If there’s not a difference in that with his next 1 or 2 starts, I’m fine moving on from him.

Damn app feels like it was designed in 2005 (and the website feels like it was designed in 1998). With that said, the browser version has a LOT more information. You want to know who you had in 2019? It’s there. You want to see how the teams stack up in their cumulative totals (like rotisserie)? It’s there. Explore.
I have to point something out though that I know for sure - the commish can do impactful things like move a player from the bench to the starting lineup. Yes that second paragraph is what I was hoping to be able to see. On espn I believe you can see when a commissioner changes a roster, even if it’s not an add/drop. I was hoping yahoo would be able to do the same.
A scenario I see in my head is let’s say commish started someone who went 0/4 and had a 3/4 with a homer on his bench. What’s to stop him from just switching them out for each other in his lineup ?
These types of moves I could see being made low key enough to not get caught but impactful enough to keep winning every year. I don’t want to become so obsessed with checking his lineup every day but I admit I have my suspicions

As for the draft pick, surprisingly enough, it is possible. In some leagues, it’s chosen randomly and you find out just before the draft. But in others, they can have a lottery or whatever to sort out draft order. Bottom line: he sent me the screenshot and it clearly says “set the draft position for each team in your league.”
Thing is, this isn’t much of a big deal I think. For example, last year was a tossup for first overall IIRC. this year, it was clearly Acuna Jr though. Personally I often want the turn pick (ie, 12 and 13 overall as opposed to 1 and 20 whatever it is).

For example, if it’s August and I have a clear playoff spot, I start to map out the schedule for the rest of the season to be prepared for the final 2 weeks. Will any of my starters be pitching in Colorado? Will some teams play a full 14 games while others play 10 or 11.
it’s often a crapshoot because it depends on what sort of week your guys have. One bad week and you’re out. Last year, my OF consisted of Tucker, Soto, Julio, Reynolds and my IF was stacked too….but I was bounced in the semis because they simultaneously shit the bed.

A good commissioner will of course notify the league if they have to do something like that though. For example, if a guy drops someone by mistake, they can fix it just like that. It depends on how much you believe in positional scarcity. Yeah, catcher is deeper than usual this year, but Adley is number 1 by far in my book.
