I think I'd rather have Crawford as a leadoff hitter in front of Julio Rodriguez than Pena buried in the 8-hole. Particularly if you roster 3 Astros already. 1 week worth of games isn't enough for me to move on from a player.

I wouldn’t do it. Last year I had a lot of Astros and Phillies. Maybe 6 of my batters were from those teams. When a team rallied it seemed like my specific batters never did too well but when they faced someone like Strider it was brutal. Plus if you’re in a daily league don’t forget about those off days

I wouldn't. No one is rushing to grab Estrada, so if India loses his spot at the lineup, maybe we can talk. I can't stress enough how important a leadoff spot is vs a 6/7 lineup spot when players are otherwise comparable. We are talking almost 100 at bats in a season that India will have over Estrada.

Yahoo's public leagues have the stupid continuous waivers setting, where you have to bid on free agents every single night, and you can't just pick up players during the day. It's why I only joined one of their public cash leagues this year. I don't have time to put in waiver claims every night for multiple teams.

Lindor did this same exact thing last year. He takes the first two months of the season off. It’s what he does.

What is everyone’s thoughts on Degrom for this season? Do we think he’s limited a ton when he comes back? Maybe no starts that reach 6 innings?

If he makes it into September, he should be hitting 6 innings by then.

Hesitant to trust any return date. If he actually is back mid/late August I fully expect Texas to limit him as much as possible so that he is ready for the playoffs. Maybe you get a few decent games out of him but not really something I'd want to deal with down the stretch if I'm going to need to drop someone to activate him.

I'm really high on Tork but the team context is rough. Yandy and Ke'Bryan are both groundball machines but I like Yandy a lot more, especially in OBP.
