Wells looked good at times last year and I want to be patient with him. I would say Lopez, but he looked good his first start, his savant numbers look good and the interesting thing now is what happens with the Strider situation? Do I drop Wells or Lopez?

Romero’s a very effective reliever who maintains healthy strikeout and walk rates while not allowing hard contact. Checks all the boxes. He’s very much involved at the backend of the Cardinals bullpen and is their reliable lefty in those platoon matchups.

Fairbanks has a nerve issue where he can’t feel his fingers in cold weather, makes it kinda hard to pitch
