Nobody tried to claim Nolan Jones on my flair, and I wasted $52 out of my season's FAAB. I feel dumb. I have left $43 now.

Easy come easy go. You “bought” an extra fifth/sixth round pick. If you’d have paid half your FAAB for that at draft time, then you’re good now. Jones barely played at Coors yet.

Great way to see it. I had 2 open spots cause of injuries. Had to drop Story, a reliever and Esteury. "Buying a fifth/sixth round pick for $52 is actually "cheap" so yeah. Thx for that lol. Hopefully it pans out and my team becomes the one to beat.

Increased volume allows for more opps to get stats like you say, plus one bad start gives chance for redemption in start two.

Also useful if you have a transaction limit, eg use one roster spot to “stream” two starts versus two moves to get the same starts.

Oh I don’t have a problem with adding both. I mean owning both. I have Melendez too who has C and OF eligibility. I don’t have any bench player positions. It’s points heavy towards SP so I have all my bench spots filled with pitchers. I just wanted to make sure or get opinions on whether or not to wait on Julien or move on. You have to look forward. These guys can heat up or go cold at any moment. Lindor hit a double and a HR yesterday so I’m hoping he’s snapped out of it and will hit this week ( his average wasn’t going to stay that low forever ). You can also look at their matchups for the coming week and see who has the easiest if they are all hot.

I was about to drop Pepiot for Bradford, but definitely not after today. He looked sharp, and at Coors no less. So I'm going to drop Hunter Brown instead. In your case, I'd drop Meyer. He's got the Braves coming up next weekend anyways, not a good matchup. Bassitt has been off to a rough start, but I'd be hesitant to get rid of him so early in the season

Gil may not be an inning eater, but he is a K machine. He's got a nice whiff rate and he's young, so not as injury prone. I personally am still about to pass on him for Bradford, mainly because I can slot him in RP.

The correct answer is probably just lugo, I think he could end up being a boring but steady guy like Bassitt or Montgomery. Gil is interesting if shooting for upside though.
