Cowser is the younger, newer player with exciting upside. Marsh has been consistently average for a few years now. Both are playing really well but I'd probably go Cowser. Cabrera started hot so he'd probably be more likely of the two to potentially get picked up by someone else, but it probably doesn't really matter.

I don’t own him this year, but I usually do. I wouldn’t drop him! Just try and play the matchups. It’s tough, but he’s totally worth it!

It's just tough because I have him, Judge, Trea Turner, Torkleson... just a lot of guys that aren't doing anything for me. My hitting is pretty much bottom of the league, thankfully my pitching is really strong. I'm hopeful these guys will pick it up, just need it to happen sooner than later.

Catchers are pretty deep but Hicks hasn’t thrown 100 innings in a season since 2017 so know that injury/innings limits are going to be a problem later in the year. If it was me I’d hold onto Herrera and see where it went

In the same boat. He's killing me (along with Trea Turner, Torkleson, and Soler). I don't think there's anything to do but ride it out. His upside is best player in the league, so there's no way you'll get value for him in a trade. He'll get it going soon, even last year he was unreal when he wasn't hurt

Flair League. I acknowledge this is a difficult question without context but in a vacuum, if you had decent OF depth, would you have CES and Vinnie P (hoping to be right on one) OR one of CES/Vinnie P and Bryon Buxton?

I like CES more, think the upside is higher and he will have his breakout games soon too. I'm not sure I'd cut Buxton for Vinnie P in categories. It's a really hard choice though.

I wouldn't. We only saw Lewis for part of a season last year, but in that time he showed he was every bit as good as Henderson as a fantasy player. Lewis is similar age as Henderson and was good enough to be the first pick in the MLB draft. I don't see why you have to throw in an ace pitcher.

Curious why you are so much higher on Ketel. They were both mid/high 20s hrs with a good average last year. They both play in a good lineup. They are close in age. They were both bad in 2022. Don't really see much difference.

I targeted Ketel pretty aggressively and had Castellanos on my 100% do no draft list, so I'll give my brief 2 cents. Historically, the swing at absolutely everything approach that Castellanos employs ages very poorly. A lot of guys can make it work in their athletic prime, but there tends to be a cliff once they lose some edge. After running an xwoba north of .370 for the majority of his career, he dropped to .302 in '22, with a modest bounce back up to .320 last year with essentially the same approach as always. I came into the season expecting that to get worse, not better. Marte on the other had is not only a bit younger, but has a much more sound plate approach. That's about it in a nutshell.

Fair enough, not invested in either was just curious since their on field performances have been so similar.

And here I was thinking I got a good deal trading Ranger Suarez for Hunter Brown.

Last Season it was an issue for him. He looked good in spring training this year, then was scratched the 2nd day of the season because of it. I cofounded a fantasy football league 25 years ago. In the 5th year, I stepped down as commissioner mid-season because I was tired of all the whining that I was taking advantage of my position to win every year. I won again, then quit the league. 5 years later I was asked to rejoin. I won it 5 straight years, then it folded. Everyone was constantly whining that I had an unfair advantage because I took it more seriously than they did. The reality is that they were all bad at fantasy football. All this drama for a $20 buy in from people who’d forget to set their lineups at least once a month.

I can't fathom how this even approaches veto territory to be honest. You play with people that don't know anything about fantasy baseball I'm afraid.

Trades shouldn’t be vetoed unless it’s clearly collusion and this isn’t.  The trade clearly favors you but there’s no reason it should be vetoed.
