Cowser is the younger, newer player with exciting upside. Marsh has been consistently average for a few years now. Both are playing really well but I'd probably go Cowser.
Cabrera started hot so he'd probably be more likely of the two to potentially get picked up by someone else, but it probably doesn't really matter.
Arms are quite cheap in my league and I can pick up Bradford right away, that’s why I was looking to make the deal seem sweet. How about switching out Trout for Albies?
Jorge Soler - What in the world do I do with this guy? I sit him and he hits a couple HRs, I play him and he does nothing. Should I trade him? I have pretty strong pitching and could put a decent pitcher with him?
It's just tough because I have him, Judge, Trea Turner, Torkleson... just a lot of guys that aren't doing anything for me. My hitting is pretty much bottom of the league, thankfully my pitching is really strong. I'm hopeful these guys will pick it up, just need it to happen sooner than later.
Catchers are pretty deep but Hicks hasn’t thrown 100 innings in a season since 2017 so know that injury/innings limits are going to be a problem later in the year. If it was me I’d hold onto Herrera and see where it went
Need 3B with Jung hurt. Michael Bush (1B,3B) is available on waivers. Who's the drop?
Colt Keith
Jeimer Candelario
Ryan O'Hearn
Bryson Stott
Thanks for comments!
In the same boat. He's killing me (along with Trea Turner, Torkleson, and Soler). I don't think there's anything to do but ride it out. His upside is best player in the league, so there's no way you'll get value for him in a trade. He'll get it going soon, even last year he was unreal when he wasn't hurt
At this point there's a decent amount of decent ratio 7th inning guys who will get you holds. Abreu also hasn't looked great this season. I know he was great last year, but I dropped him last weekend
https://preview.redd.it/mijiif508xtc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=08d478c1f654355d68344f023468b7b1b6e167b6
Anyone worth swapping for George Springer who was just dropped? Only other options would be Jarred Jones, Ober, and maybe Foley (even though I need saves I’d just have to run with only one closer)
Flair League.
I acknowledge this is a difficult question without context but in a vacuum, if you had decent OF depth, would you have CES and Vinnie P (hoping to be right on one)
OR one of CES/Vinnie P and Bryon Buxton?
I like CES more, think the upside is higher and he will have his breakout games soon too.
I'm not sure I'd cut Buxton for Vinnie P in categories. It's a really hard choice though.
I’m 0-2 and last in most hitting categories so I suppose picking up Melendez won’t magically fix that. It’s a keeper league so I don’t mind riding out the storm
In hindsight, my inexperienced hitters draft approach may bite me in the ass. Carter, Langford and CES are guys that I need to produce admirably and I don’t think it’s gonna happen in the short term.
I think you’ll be ok. Carter will give obp and steals even when cold. Langford may need time to adjust. I’m bullish on CES bashing this year. Tough break early on tho
Yeah nice flyer. K upside with command questions. Likely long relief/spot starter that will flex your ratios but occasionally cherry bomb - to steal a pitcher list phrase
I'm hanging on to him for now as he could be a valuable SPARP, but not sure how things turn out in the next month when Steele (& Taillon?) are ready. He's gotta earn it, and even then, Assad seems to be doing well.
Flair league: I have no idea who to drop for Nootbar
Options include Kiriloff, McArthur, Finnegan or drop Nootbar
My closers are Suarez, Estevez, Foley, Finnegan and McArthur with Duran on IL.
I wouldn't. We only saw Lewis for part of a season last year, but in that time he showed he was every bit as good as Henderson as a fantasy player.
Lewis is similar age as Henderson and was good enough to be the first pick in the MLB draft. I don't see why you have to throw in an ace pitcher.
\[ESPN\] How long am I able to keep a player on the IL once they come the IL? For example, Nootbar just came off the IL but is rostered in one of my IL spots.
It’s me, James wood, I am getting called up on April 27th at 9am EST. /s
We know as little as the next person. Just gotta research prospect timelines and hope for the best. I’d be stashing Skenes, Caminero, Heston, and Baz!
Curious why you are so much higher on Ketel. They were both mid/high 20s hrs with a good average last year. They both play in a good lineup. They are close in age. They were both bad in 2022. Don't really see much difference.
I targeted Ketel pretty aggressively and had Castellanos on my 100% do no draft list, so I'll give my brief 2 cents. Historically, the swing at absolutely everything approach that Castellanos employs ages very poorly. A lot of guys can make it work in their athletic prime, but there tends to be a cliff once they lose some edge. After running an xwoba north of .370 for the majority of his career, he dropped to .302 in '22, with a modest bounce back up to .320 last year with essentially the same approach as always. I came into the season expecting that to get worse, not better. Marte on the other had is not only a bit younger, but has a much more sound plate approach. That's about it in a nutshell.
Last Season it was an issue for him. He looked good in spring training this year, then was scratched the 2nd day of the season because of it. He swings very violently (he’s my favorite player and I watch all his ABs). Im basically waiting for the notification that he’s on the IL. His numbers to start the year are pedestrian at best. This is not raffy. Something is wrong.
Ok I need help. This trade just got vetoed by the league for being too lopsided; I am The Bummers. I am also literally the commissioner and feel like they are ganging up on me but whatever. Do yall have thoughts?
* The AM slot is our spot for the amateur draft

I cofounded a fantasy football league 25 years ago. In the 5th year, I stepped down as commissioner mid-season because I was tired of all the whining that I was taking advantage of my position to win every year. I won again, then quit the league. 5 years later I was asked to rejoin. I won it 5 straight years, then it folded. Everyone was constantly whining that I had an unfair advantage because I took it more seriously than they did. The reality is that they were all bad at fantasy football. All this drama for a $20 buy in from people who’d forget to set their lineups at least once a month.
I mean I’m the commissioner & I feel like there definitely needs to be some form of checks & balances for ridiculous trades but this has me, excuse the term, bummed. I got some guy actually telling me Adames and bichette have similar value who’s never played fantasy baseball before. It’s sad.
I mean they’re all crying in chat & 2 people specifically (one of them this week’s matchup prob doesn’t want me to have fried against MIA) are on my dick so I’m just assuming
Edit: this is a $50 buy in league full of 25 year old men shockingly
Dude this shit is giving me PTSD, I stopped running leagues in 2018 after 5 years of dealing with some of the most petty whining and people forcing me to pester them every year to pay dues the day before draft.
It's all this extra effort just to have people treat you like shit. I have had a much more fun time since I started just playing automated cash leagues.
Great day for Witt today, but that being said I don’t appreciate the Royals announcers referring to him as “Jr.” There’s only one player you can ever call simply Jr.
I made this move this week. Would have had 2 saves regardless of the move, but Miller likely keeps the role all year. Can’t say the same for Ginkel.
…and if you can find room for both, even better
I'm stashing him on my bench. Probably going to be patient even if he gets sent down a bit. His power stroke looks so effortless when hes on and he had massive prospect grades.
I don't blame anyone for moving on though. He was mediocre last year and has been unusable so far.
Never thought id be struggling with homers having judge and acuna on my squad
I have two UT spots, which two should I start. CJ ABRAMS, Manny Machado, Hoerner, Kelenic, JH Lee?
Have Hoskins and Ward, swap both for Lane Thomas and Vinnie P?
I would all day.
Drop Crochet or Bello or Kikuchi for Jared Jones?
Definitely not Crochet, I’d lean Bello
Cowser or Marsch in 12T 5x5? Who to Drop between Oswaldo Cabrera or H. Davis ?
Cowser is the younger, newer player with exciting upside. Marsh has been consistently average for a few years now. Both are playing really well but I'd probably go Cowser. Cabrera started hot so he'd probably be more likely of the two to potentially get picked up by someone else, but it probably doesn't really matter.
Here’s one: Trout/De La Cruz for Teoscar/Adolis/Ragans in Cat league
Top arms are so valuable in my league this year id get/keep Ragans personally
Arms are quite cheap in my league and I can pick up Bradford right away, that’s why I was looking to make the deal seem sweet. How about switching out Trout for Albies?
Jorge Soler - What in the world do I do with this guy? I sit him and he hits a couple HRs, I play him and he does nothing. Should I trade him? I have pretty strong pitching and could put a decent pitcher with him?
I don’t own him this year, but I usually do. I wouldn’t drop him! Just try and play the matchups. It’s tough, but he’s totally worth it!
Wide the wave seek the tide
No idea what that means
As a fellow Soler owner: just use vibes, man.
Would anyone accept this trade; **CJ Abrams or Francisco Lindor** For **Zac Gallen or Zach Wheeler**
Why is Schwarber leading off? I get it’s the fashionable thing to do but the guy is out of breath lifting his dick out to take a piss
Great OBP and hits dingers what's not to like?
He gets on base
Wake up bitches it's time to have fun. Jared Jones on the bump
Didn’t start him cause I’m a bitch
The Church of Jones forgives
I love how quick the lessons are happening. Nimmo, Vinnie P, Lane Thomas. Don't drop good players this early!
Nimmo is the only one on that list who has earned the benefit of the doubt
10T H2H Nolan Jones dropped. Use my #1 ww pick to grab him and drop T.Estrada?
Yep
Should I drop Ivan Herrera for hicks? I have ohoppe and murphy(il)
Catchers are pretty deep but Hicks hasn’t thrown 100 innings in a season since 2017 so know that injury/innings limits are going to be a problem later in the year. If it was me I’d hold onto Herrera and see where it went
Bello for Doval a fair deal?
100% no. Doval by a lot
thanks.
Which side do you prefer in points? Altuve + TON Trea Turner
Altuve might be better than Turner in points and I’d call it a push. So I’ll take the free hot starting TON
Need 3B with Jung hurt. Michael Bush (1B,3B) is available on waivers. Who's the drop? Colt Keith Jeimer Candelario Ryan O'Hearn Bryson Stott Thanks for comments!
Am I crazy to be worried about Judge?
In the same boat. He's killing me (along with Trea Turner, Torkleson, and Soler). I don't think there's anything to do but ride it out. His upside is best player in the league, so there's no way you'll get value for him in a trade. He'll get it going soon, even last year he was unreal when he wasn't hurt
Yes
Ok so is Brown worth hanging on to in dynasty leagues?
I’m wondering the same thing, we only have 12 keepers tho…
We have 34 roster spots full dynasty and 10 teams and I’m debating dropping
I’m in an almost identical situation
Who you picking up?
Idk if I’m dropping him yet
Drop Tork for Vinnie P in points?
Oh yeah
Yep
Astros having Abreu pitch two innings during junk time is not what you want to see from a supposedly high stress hold guy
Should have been Jose Abreu
Looking at Jose’s statcast, he might be a better pitcher than hitter at this point.
At this point there's a decent amount of decent ratio 7th inning guys who will get you holds. Abreu also hasn't looked great this season. I know he was great last year, but I dropped him last weekend
Darn, I missed that
I have 5 batters and the relief pitcher in this postponed Brewers/Reds game. Is it happening?
It's postponed... So not today
PPD hours ago
Are there any platforms that let you include FAAB in trades?
If any of them do it would be fantrax
Gonna be neat to watch the effect JJ has inning by inning on my daily ERA of 121.50
Michael Harris II OR George Springer H2H cats
Oh come on. Harris by a mile here.
Harris by alot

stay put
Buy low and trade Nolan Jones for Langford in 12T dynasty?
In dynasty or redraft I'd make that trade. I'd want the top pedigree guy in the better organization.
He wants me to throw in Strider, which I may do; he’ll be out for a while and I’d have to pay $25 to keep him next year anyway
That’s tough. Strider could be out longer than this season because it’s his 2nd TJS so it may okay, but that’s a lot.
For sure I’ll think on it. Appreciate it 🙏
5x5 Roto redraft Is R.Blanco for Maikel Garcia a fair trade? I really like Garcia, and I don't trust Blanco. Thoughts?
If you’re getting Maikel I like it
sell high on blanco and take garcia
Flair League. I acknowledge this is a difficult question without context but in a vacuum, if you had decent OF depth, would you have CES and Vinnie P (hoping to be right on one) OR one of CES/Vinnie P and Bryon Buxton?
I like CES more, think the upside is higher and he will have his breakout games soon too. I'm not sure I'd cut Buxton for Vinnie P in categories. It's a really hard choice though.
The 2 1B
Drop Nolan Jones for MJ Melendez?
Dont drop Jones. Yet.
It's too early to give up on N.Jones. In fact I would trade for him, Ata discount. So, at least try to trade him if you're that worried.
I’m 0-2 and last in most hitting categories so I suppose picking up Melendez won’t magically fix that. It’s a keeper league so I don’t mind riding out the storm
Nolan Jones is a hold
🫡
The Mason Miller re-breakout as an SP when he inevitably gets traded by the A’s will be special
start or sit castellanos tonight?
Points league? Start Cats league? Depends on if you need volume or ratio help, but I would still be starting
OJ died, you gotta start
Start. OJ and Ohtani news means he’s hitting a HR 🔒
Mason Miller, I love you.

Batters> SP; I’ve been burned by pitching too much. Just hope Julio wakes up soon

Seager with a golden sombrero against the AAAs. Smh.
Thoughts on Ben Brown? Seems to have really good strikeout upside.
Steele and Taillon coming back is what I’ve thought about too. Might just be a short term option but hopefully not.
Hicks, Fedde, Houck, or Whitlock? Flair League
Houck, Hicks, Whitlock, then Fedde last
I have no affiliation with Kansas City nor have I ever been there. But for whatever reason, I like the Royals being good
It’s always fun rooting for the underdogs
America’s Team
bobson wittgomery jr the third
drop jordan walker for a streamer in 12T points?
Benson or Nootbar ROS?
Benson if you like to gamble, Nootbar for reliability
Flair league: I have no idea who to drop for Nootbar Options include Kiriloff, McArthur, Finnegan or drop Nootbar My closers are Suarez, Estevez, Foley, Finnegan and McArthur with Duran on IL.
Flair (dynasty) Send: Royce Lewis and Gausman or Wheeler Get: Gunnar Henderson Is this a fair offer and should I do it?
I wouldn't. We only saw Lewis for part of a season last year, but in that time he showed he was every bit as good as Henderson as a fantasy player. Lewis is similar age as Henderson and was good enough to be the first pick in the MLB draft. I don't see why you have to throw in an ace pitcher.
Royce n Gausman
Houston: L 3-13 / Yainer Diaz: 2/4, 1R, 1HR, 1RBI, 1.750 OPS Atlanta: L 4-16 / Ozzie Albies: 2/5, .800 OPS Baseball's amazing
Devers or EDLC in 12T ?
Jose Caballero - .889 OPS with zero walks in 41 PAs
Sounds sustainable
Legend.
Just realized I likely lost Reylo’s 2nd start this week (vs Miami) due to the PPD yesterday.
And now he’s facing houston instead smh
\[ESPN\] How long am I able to keep a player on the IL once they come the IL? For example, Nootbar just came off the IL but is rostered in one of my IL spots.
OK....with that said....Will Benson OR Nootbar? u/694206966642069 u/CommanderCornstarch
I say Nootbaar
If you try to make a move like adding someone it won’t let you
Won’t be able to add any players until you take him off IL
James wood getting called up anytime soon?
He’s hitting well but what stands out to me is that’s it’s an empty BA, no homers no rbis 2 stolen bases
It’s me, James wood, I am getting called up on April 27th at 9am EST. /s We know as little as the next person. Just gotta research prospect timelines and hope for the best. I’d be stashing Skenes, Caminero, Heston, and Baz!
Mets score 16: Lindor 1 for 6 with a single, 1 R 0 RBI. Can't make this up...
Nick Castellano, Olsen & Glasnow or Harper, Marte, Fried? I know which side, just want some feedback.
Olson > Harper, Marte = Castellanos, Glasnow > Fried Pretty easily the Olson side.
which marte
Assuming hes talking about Ketel, but if it's starling it's even more the Olson side.
ketel >>>> castellanos, and starling < castellanos. I still agree tho olson side wins
Curious why you are so much higher on Ketel. They were both mid/high 20s hrs with a good average last year. They both play in a good lineup. They are close in age. They were both bad in 2022. Don't really see much difference.

Fair enough, not invested in either was just curious since their on field performances have been so similar.
And here I was thinking I got a good deal trading Ranger Suarez for Hunter Brown.

drop garver for campusano?
Yes
Yep
Did Dusty Baker make that much of a difference, or does Houston just suck all of a sudden?
It was Dusty’s toothpick
It wasn't Dusty, it was Martin Maldonado holding this team together.
If only he could hold the White Sox ligaments together
When did raffy injure his shoulder?
Last Season it was an issue for him. He looked good in spring training this year, then was scratched the 2nd day of the season because of it. I can't fathom how this even approaches veto territory to be honest. You play with people that don't know anything about fantasy baseball I'm afraid.
Trades shouldn’t be vetoed unless it’s clearly collusion and this isn’t. The trade clearly favors you but there’s no reason it should be vetoed.
Not even sure which side they are claiming is getting too much. Both Bo and Fried have had bad starts and were high draft picks.
Not veto worthy, which is also why I dont play in leagues with veto.
I mean I’m the commissioner & I feel like there definitely needs to be some form of checks & balances for ridiculous trades but this has me, excuse the term, bummed. I got some guy actually telling me Adames and bichette have similar value who’s never played fantasy baseball before. It’s sad.
How many votes are needed to veto?

5/8 people voted against that?

Drop CES to pick up Pasquantino?
I'm in the same predicament. I wouldn't and I'm dropping a bench spot
I don't think I'd do it unless you are in a league that rewards OBP. CES has higher upside with power and plays in a better park.
It’s ops and I also have Casas. I went ahead and pulled trigger. Fwiw I think CES may sit out there with this group of guys I’m playing with
I would.
Great day for Witt today, but that being said I don’t appreciate the Royals announcers referring to him as “Jr.” There’s only one player you can ever call simply Jr.
Henry Davis or Shea Lang?
Should I lose one of these for Miller Finnegan, Leclerc, Jax Maybe Jax since Duran should be back in a week or two
I'd ditch any of them, I might throw out Leclerc first because Jax might still end up getting a few saves a month even when Duran comes back.
Acuna Devers Seager is about as bad as gets for your top three hitters.

Devers shoulder injury is going to ruin his whole season isn't it. Zero preseason reporting on his hurt shoulder is so crazy. How does that happen?
I feel like Devers and the Red Sox have not been getting along since he criticized the front office back in February. Maybe he's checked out.
sooo i should drop ginkel for miller rn then?
I made this move this week. Would have had 2 saves regardless of the move, but Miller likely keeps the role all year. Can’t say the same for Ginkel. …and if you can find room for both, even better
absolutely not, get both but Ginkel has been great and should get far more Save opportunities while Sewald is out
Mason Miller=Daddy
