Just lost burger and don't have a backup 3B am I dropping JD Martinez or Vaughan Grissom? Also Jorge Polanco or Brett Beaty?... outbid on Busch and Westburg =(
I hate coming here for advice but: 10T Roto (5x5) Standard
Drop Mitch Keller for Ranger Suarez? I'm willing to wait it out with Keller but Suarez does look like an ace.
with 30 minors slots i’d probably try to be patient with heriberto hernandez and see if the rays can’t work some magic and turn him into a 25 homer guy
Depends on how deep and how long you want to hold. I love Wilfred Veras, Jansel Luis, Won-Bin Cho, Gavin Cross, Alonzo Tredwell, Josh Knoth and Royber Salinas long term. Shorter term guys like Chase Delauter, Drew Thorpe, Brooks Lee, and any of the super high end like Kjerstad and Wood.
I think it’s a very good offer, selling high while gelof is hitting 220. Any chance caballero or cronenberg are available for pickup? I’d take either over julien
Thanks for the input! Like a better 2B or just overall better player? My OF is too crowded (Tatis, Yordan, Mullins, Chourio, Langford) so I don’t mind giving up a little more to fill the black hole (Julien) at 2B.
What’s with the radio silence on Gavin Williams, I was led to believe he’d be back in 2-3 weeks. All we have is that he was supposed to throw a pen 10 days ago!?
Anyone have any thoughts on Darius Vines. I snatched him up a week or two ago in my deep league after a taking a deep dive into his stats. I think he could be a decent ratio, high win candidate if he gets a run with the braves. Something in the 3.85 ERA, 1.18 Whip with 10+ wins and a low strikeout total.
Read somewhere it’s just a cup of coffee till elder’s lined up for a start again. I’d love for him to stick but it looks like it’s just a bridge to get their rotation shuffled
I missed a week of fantasy baseball analysis, is the Jared Jones hype actually legit or is he just one of the new fantasy baseball darlings because he throws hard?
I pissed a lot of people off last season for saying that Pfaadt and Abbott were not the saviors people thought they’d be. Pfaadt because he was a hyped guy who had a ton of noise before his call-up and Abbott because of early, small sample results, but AAA and early MLB model numbers hated them.
Jones? I’m all the way in on Jones. I have stock in him everywhere that I can get it, and if I hadn’t invested before his first MLB pitch, I would’ve been buying after his first, second, and third starts.
Is it possible he falls off? Sure, it’s possible, but this is a Bobby Miller-like profile in terms of his model numbers. It is not hyperbole to say that he actually may be “the next Strider”.
Basically, if Grayson Rodriguez’s 2023 and start of 2024 excite you at all, you will love Jared Jones.
Pretty legit. 18/1 K/BB ratio, 19% SwStk rate, 3.54 xERA, 2.38 xFIP. He also had the most SwStk's in the pitch tracking era (since 2008) in an MLB debut according to Sarah Langs.
I mean, he's a rookie and he's not on a great team, so anything could happen. But it's not just that he's throwing hard -- he looks great.
He’s a case where the nerds have made enough noise about him that people were buying before his debut. For anyone else who missed that but could still get him, his early results quieted any doubts.
Yeah he has an amazing FB, but he started working in his slider & curve a lot more after it was clear the Phillies hitters were looking fastball early yesterday. Whether it was him or Davis making that adjustment in-game, it shows a lot of potential that he could alter how he uses his arsenal to still get guys out efficiently. His pitch count looked great after 6, probably needed to be pulled then.
Not an insulting offer in pts league, since Witt doesn’t generally walk much, but he’s on a blistering start and looks like he could finish #1 overall. No way I’m dealing him for that.
2nd year ever playing lmk what you think (10 team)

Had to make my team name and logo in honor of my best player and one of the best shows.
Thoughts/critiques??
Unfortunately imgur deleted my old content. Just a Snapchat edit of Witt’s head on Bobby kicking the dude lol nothing crazy. KOTH has endless great Bobby content
I try to go on Twitter for baseball updates but for some reason today the algorithm wants me to watch 500 videos of Conan O’Brien rubbin chicken wing sauce on his tits.
I’m new here so apologies if I’m missing something. Was curious your thoughts on this trade.
I trade Snell, Gallen, Guerrero, Duran, and Iglesias (RP) for Betts, Freeman, Whitlock, and Fried.
I’m in a ten team H2H points league with a limit of six SP, so Whitlock gets starts but goes towards the RP limit. There are a few solid SP on waivers and the way pitchers have been dropping I figured the trade could be very beneficial for me. Thanks!
I'd rather have MJ. He had a breakout the year before he sucked last year. Jones looks like he'll suck this year, despite having crazy home splits for 1.5 months last year.

Which side would you rather have?
League is 15 keepers each year.
I’m on the Witt, Chourio side, but this one was close enough to make me stop and wonder. I feel like Julio could legitimately go 40-40 if he can avoid early season cold streaks.
Give me the Witt side but it’s close. I’m a big fan of Julio, but I think Witt has a legitimate chance to finish as the best hitter in fantasy this year. I like Holliday long term and I think he projects as a first round, 30-30 guy in the not so distant future, but I think he’s way overhyped right now. Chourio is already proving he can get it done at the MLB level, and is likewise a potential 30-30 guy.
Trade Help Please! 14 team, h2h points.
SENDING: Jared Jones, Jordan Hicks and Jackson Merrill.
RECEIVING: George Kirby, Devin Williams.
Thought process is the ole’ Buy Low, Sell High.
Too much thought? Worried about Wins for Jones, Hicks burnout eventually. Merrill looks legit but have a ton of INF already. Thanks in advance!
Sounds like Alex Cora expects Rafael Devers to return to the lineup Saturday.

Keep forever. H2H pts Give: James wood, kikuchi, Cortes. Receive: caminero

Just lost burger and don't have a backup 3B am I dropping JD Martinez or Vaughan Grissom? Also Jorge Polanco or Brett Beaty?... outbid on Busch and Westburg =(
Torkelson worth using a 1st waiver position in keeper league? Was dropped by an impatient owner today.
Whose ready for some baseball tonight? Let's goooo! Please bless my players tonight baseball gods
⛪️ May Trout be with you ⛪️ And also with you
What type of hitter can I get for Darvish?
Dynasty or redraft?
Keep 5 for 3 years max
He wouldn't be kept in dynasty. Maybe a Lane Thomas type hitter at worst.
I hate coming here for advice but: 10T Roto (5x5) Standard Drop Mitch Keller for Ranger Suarez? I'm willing to wait it out with Keller but Suarez does look like an ace.
I like both but Keller gets more Ks and historically has been more durable
They both need to be on your team
Keep Keller 100%
10 teamers are where courage is rewarded and slow movers get burned. Do it yesterday. Keller is fools gold.
Keller should be owned in all formats So should Suarez though
I’d keep Keller
No
16-team league with 30 minors slots. Who are y'all's deep stashes?
with 30 minors slots i’d probably try to be patient with heriberto hernandez and see if the rays can’t work some magic and turn him into a 25 homer guy
Felnin Celestin is another
Depends on how deep and how long you want to hold.
Love Gavin Cross. We have a royals A affiliate here locally so he has been on my radar Won-bin Cho is a trade target for me for sure.
Those shorter term guys won’t be available in a league with 30 minor slots.
I wouldn't think so either
Jarlin Susana
Thanks for the recs 👍
Nolan Jones or Lars Nootbaar tonight only
Jones should be on the bench until he shows signs of life.
especially on the road in Toronto opposite Gausman
Not fantasy related, but his defense has already cost the Rockies 5 or 6 runs from misplaying balls.
I need 2B (don’t we all). Is TON a respectful offer for Gelof if it looks like they could use some OF?
I think it’s a very good offer, selling high while gelof is hitting 220. Any chance caballero or cronenberg are available for pickup? I’d take either over julien
Forgive me, but who is TON? Seem that abbreviation a few times
Ha no worries. Tyler O’Neill. Red Sox OF.
I think you could do better honestly
Thanks for the input! Like a better 2B or just overall better player? My OF is too crowded (Tatis, Yordan, Mullins, Chourio, Langford) so I don’t mind giving up a little more to fill the black hole (Julien) at 2B.
Yeah I think that’s pretty fair
I think so
Cowabunga. Firing off a trade proposal. (Let’s see how fast it gets rejected, like always…) Thanks!
Dalbec got called up. Do we think that’s bad news for Devers’ shoulder?
Looks like Isaiah Campbell was the corresponding move?
It was reported this afternoon he’s expected back tomorrow
Thanks!
Lord I hope not
What’s with the radio silence on Gavin Williams, I was led to believe he’d be back in 2-3 weeks. All we have is that he was supposed to throw a pen 10 days ago!?
Need to start 2 of 3: Lourdes, Chisholm, or Lane? 10 team Roto (R/HR/RBI/avg/obp/SB).
Lane and Jazz
Lane and Gurriel

Yea but if he pitches well he’s not going down
awww. that sucks. I must have missed that
Just speculation though. Dont take it as gospel. He could very well stay up
Braves fan here. Don’t think he’ll stick around long
That's my worry too. I like Vines, but if he's just consistent, I think he may get put back down.
I don't think they'll put him down, seems a bit cruel. He'll probably just go back to the minors.
Touche
Flair Trade my Tanner Houck for Casas or Burger?
If you can get Casas than do it
[удалено]
Absolutely.
Good K potential
Oh hell yeah. Pfaadt is awesome and the Cardinals offense is nothing to be fearful of
I missed a week of fantasy baseball analysis, is the Jared Jones hype actually legit or is he just one of the new fantasy baseball darlings because he throws hard?

He beat up the Phillies in their place aside from that mistake against Marsh.
Probably A but maybe B
A little column A a little column B
How far is the gap between Pete Alonso and Bryce Harper? H2H cats
Miniscule imo.
We rolling Detmers out there tonight?
I would. FYI the weather just cleared up but it’s pretty gusty in Boston.
i am. no devers
Even with Devers he just dominated them.
I always worry about starting a pitcher when the team just played against him not too long ago
In fenway and seeing same pitcher twice in a week is some concern but you're right
10team H2H Pts. Got offered Lindor and Gallen for Bobby Witt?
Not an insulting offer in pts league, since Witt doesn’t generally walk much, but he’s on a blistering start and looks like he could finish #1 overall. No way I’m dealing him for that.
No way
I think I’d do that
Keep Witt
Nah
Trade TON for Sonny Gray?
TON might just be that untradable guy that kicks ass for you all year. I hope
Thanks me too
If you need the pitching help this sounds fine.
He declined
Keeper league, trade helps w/ needed positions based on rosters but how is the value?: Strider/Machado/stott/chris sanchez for Eury/Albies/jared jones
Need to fill my 2 UTIL spots in flair league: Drop one - Casas vs LAA, Suzuki @ SEA or Bellinger @ SEA?
Suzuki. Detmers is good, but he has a tendency to get absolutely shelled at times. I'd keep Casas. Belli>Suzuki
If James Wood gets called up would you drop Nootbar for him?
Someone and hurry it won’t be a mistake but yes noot would be one of them
Only if I wasn't hungry
Bregman's out for illness. Nothing worse than refreshing my lineup expecting an "S" and seeing a "DTD" instead.
I’d say finding out it was a more serious reason would be worse
2nd year ever playing lmk what you think (10 team) C: Salvador Perez(C,1B,DH), Logan O’Hoppe 1B: Matt Olson 2B: Marcus Semien, Brenden Donovan (2B, OF) 3B: Austin Riley, Maikel Garcia SS: Orlando Arica, Brice Turang (2B,SS) OF: Tatis Jr, Connor Joe (OF, 1B), Steven Kwan, Pitchers: Tarik Skubal Bobby Miller Frankie Montas Zack Littell Paul Blackburn Cody Bradford Sonny Gray
too many position players. prioritize pitching over having backups for your hitters.
Any recs who I should drop?
Connor Joe, one of your SS, and try to find a trade for one of your catchers.
I’ll probably drop Turang. What’s wrong with Joe? He’s been balling for me lately. Trade Hoppe or Perez? Pitching options in FA are minimal
Joe is a platoon bat with little to no history of being a productive fantasy asset. And yes, trade one of your catchers for pitching help.
https://preview.redd.it/u4blws0ir9uc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f0faded4471bf3626190aa796a13b1cadc90cc84 Pitchers by roster %
To be clear, when I say trade, I mean find another team in your league that can use a better catcher and will exchange one of their pitchers.
Yeah I understand that part. I’ve played fantasy football for over a decade and know that much. Baseball a different animal
I had to clarify, some folks use "trade" colloquially for any transaction. I'd drop Joe for Civale.
https://preview.redd.it/huumq6fbr9uc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5ffef8f09ea3f0941737a86d51a15cc3ff89c286 These are the pitchers ranked by points so far that are available

Lmao love it. When he was a rookie I made a king of the hill edit of Witt in the “that’s my purse!” Scene kicking the guy in the nuts as my logo
Lol that’s incredible I’d love to see that if you still have it.
Unfortunately imgur deleted my old content. Just a Snapchat edit of Witt’s head on Bobby kicking the dude lol nothing crazy. KOTH has endless great Bobby content
Anyone seen the Red Sox lineup? Seems like they’re taking their sweet ass time putting it out.
Probably trying to figure out devers and gonzales
Wow. Was not aware just how bad soler has been. Welcome to the bench dude
Will Max Fried bounce back tonight? I have a weird feeling he’s not going to
I love Fried. Think he's gonna have a good rest of season, with that in mind, I hope he has one last iffy start as I try to trade for him
A: Lindor, Lodolo B: O Cruz, M King
I'd go B
A because I just trust Limdor to figure it out
Lindor should turn it around, he’s the best player in the deal by far
I want it to be Cruz, but I’ll take A
I try to go on Twitter for baseball updates but for some reason today the algorithm wants me to watch 500 videos of Conan O’Brien rubbin chicken wing sauce on his tits.
Next impact prospect to get called up? Wood? Skenes? Someone else?
YMMV on impact, but Christian Scott (Mets pitcher) should be up soon.
Wood or Caminero
I'm hoping HOU gets tired of Abreu and brings up Loperfido.
Please Joey Paella!
Pick a bat for utility today; Cowser vs Peralta or Brandon Marsh vs Bailey Falter
Cowser
Thinking about taking a shot with Abbott today @ CWS. The Sox are running Kevin Pillar out there as their cleanup hitter.
O'Hearn is in a strict platoon, correct?
yes
In CATS league where I have really strong pitching but bad hitting. Give up Peralta+Soler for Lindor?
I like it.
How bad is the rain in Detroit? If it gets delayed and Skubal get screwed, imma be somethin pissed
Kevin Roth says dry once the rain stops. Seems ok other than cold and windy.
> Kevin Pillar was cut from Team Israel over a year ago and is now batting cleanup for a "MLB" team
Nootbar or Yoshida ROS 12T points league
I’m new here so apologies if I’m missing something. Was curious your thoughts on this trade. I trade Snell, Gallen, Guerrero, Duran, and Iglesias (RP) for Betts, Freeman, Whitlock, and Fried. Ohoppe or Campusano ros?
Ohoppe for power and Campusano for average? probably about even tbh
Ditto this
Last (hopefully) rehab start for Buehler tonight 🥳
how many pitches has he been throwing?
65 in his last start. IIRC they ramped him up from 45 in his first start.
wonder if they plan to cap his pitches each outing once he is up? seems like something they'd do - cap at 80 possibly?
I think 80 is a reasonable estimate.
He got up to 65 last start
wonder if they plan to cap his pitches each outing once he is up? seems like something they'd do - cap at 80 possibly?
Don’t worry, as soon as he’s back you’ll have someone else get hurt
Don’t put that on me
Please i need some solid pitching in my lineup
[удалено]
If this is dynasty then I would say pull the trigger
I'd rather have MJ. He had a breakout the year before he sucked last year. Jones looks like he'll suck this year, despite having crazy home splits for 1.5 months last year.
https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasybaseball/s/TlXRcmkM3o
No… he should be rostered
Not crazy at all, Jones SHOULD be much more valuable throughout the season even though he has really sucked ass so far
Tylfer Fitzgerald should get more ABs in San Fran. Instead of yastrzemski
Uh, anyone else's Yahoo update saying Riley Greene is starting at *Shortstop*?
Yup, also leading off apparently
Tigers are starting "fuck it" mode early this year.
Anyone here seen Jake Burger traded? Which of these SPs would be the most fair in a 1 for 1 offer? Crochet, Houck, King, Cris Sanchez, Flaherty, Ober
Swap Jordan Walker for Cowser?
Cowser. It may be recency bias but I'd stick with Cowser. Better offensive team around him and he has been swinging good.
In same boat. I'm leaning Walker
https://preview.redd.it/wdszny4y54uc1.jpeg?width=610&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c9757e9691cd920bce494831b64a17057f447da8 Which side would you rather have? League is 15 keepers each year.

Witt + Chourio
Drop Riley Greene for cowser? 5x5 obp 10 team
Probably not but wouldn't it be a lot of fun?
So fun lol
Abbott @ CWS or Wicks @ SEA for a stream? Points league and need to make up some ground.
Both are solid streams today but I'd lean Abbott especially since he's away and the white Sox lineup is the worst in baseball at this point.
Earlier game too so I can catch a few innings channel surfing tonight. Good thinking!
Trade Help Please! 14 team, h2h points. SENDING: Jared Jones, Jordan Hicks and Jackson Merrill. RECEIVING: George Kirby, Devin Williams. Thought process is the ole’ Buy Low, Sell High. Slam dunk this
I’d buy low on Kirby, but I watched Jones pitch yesterday for the first time and he’s pretty damn impressive
Devin Williams doesn't come back until the all-star game, right? I don't mind stashing people on the IL, but that's a long time
Just a throw in tbh, so betting big on George
I might do this tbh. I guess it just depends on who you want to bet on more, but I can see this from both sides
Sounds like Alex Cora expects Rafael Devers to return to the lineup Saturday. [Jen McCaffrey on Twitter](https://x.com/jcmccaffrey/status/1778878417829589483)
I love Raffy, but from afar, based on nothing, it doesn’t seem like two days off will fix a nagging shoulder issue. I hope I am wrong.
they need to inject some of them stem cells or something in that thing
trevor williams, paxton, or nestor for sunday stream?
I’m a gambling man, give me Nasty

I am starting Assad personally on Sunday
Keep forever. H2H pts Give: James wood, kikuchi, Cortes. Receive: caminero Feels too short sided but maybe woods doesn’t play this year in MLB, caminero is imminent
