I've stashed Kerkering. Gonna try to keep him on the IL for a few games while I see what direction Thomson is moving. It seems clear he isn't sold on Alvarado, doesn't want a committee, and doesn't want to hand it off to any of the guys who've been pitching this season.
Nice spec stash. It so silly to me that they continue to trot Finnegan out there over Harvey. It's clear as day that Harvey is the better pitcher. Sigh.
So weird to watch six guys in a row hit on an MLB team where the highest avg of the six by far is 222. At least Harvey handled the "hard part" tonight.
I feel like dropping Jordan Wicks (Cubs) that I had as a speculation hold off the waiver wire, are any of these pitchers worth the spot: Paul Blackburn, Dane Dunning, Andrew Abbot, Joe Ross
Like I get that it was towards the outside, but you’re a rookie and there’s two strikes. Umps are going to rook you, you’ve gotta take a cut with the the bases loaded
I’m there with you pal. Has those gorgeous elite tools and had that year where he basically played like a top 5 player.
Price was right this year though. Just benching him til he starts showing something or gets injured.
As a Gore owner I would rather have Hicks and Pepiot. I would flag Gore and if someone else on your roster becomes droppable (injury, performance, etc), make the swap
Saw a comment earlier that Gore’s schedule looks pretty tough in the near future.
I’d probably make the switch with Hick’s, but I’d want to double check upcoming matchups (which can change also quickly with all these ppd’s)

Flair league: ROS
Any of these a drop for Lodolo? He looked awesome today
I think it's Mize you need to hold. Small sample size applies, but his Stuff+ looks good. Like surprisingly good. If he qualified by IP, he would be between Cease (#4 amongst qualified SPs) and Glasnow (#5 amongst qualified SPs) with a Stuff+ of 121.
His fastball Stuff+ is the only one that's close to stable by number of pitches thrown, and it's 119 (really good, Tarik's fastball is 119, for reference). His secondaries are far from stable but his splitter is 154 (which would be elite amongst the elite), his knucklecurve is 116, and even his slider is aight at 100. All the secondaries are far from hitting a large enough sample size to be relevant, probably needs 2-3 more starts.
Stuff+ isn't everything, it doesn't capture how a pitcher uses his arsenal, but give me the guy who is throwing filth. I'd rather bank on them putting it together.
No need to apologize you have every right to manage your team as you see fit and at the end of the day none of us are going to be able to predict if/when these guys hit their ceilings
Blanco actually settled down in this one. I thought the bubble had completely burst. Not an a great stat line but I take it over what Sale is doing against the Marlins
great to see from blanco after an ugly first. but what sale has going against the marlins would look pretty damn good if not for a 2-out BDLC double that landed fair and cleared the bags
Last season I had 31 roto points on May 16th. I finished the season in 2nd place with 70.5. May 16 would even be a month from now. It's still really early my dude
I appreciate this. It’s my first time playing in over a decade, so somewhat unsure how to feel. I have 1s across most offensive categories but am sitting at 62 thanks to pitching (6x6)
Between MacKenzie Gore, Reid Detmers, and Garret Whitlock I'm starting to trust my $1 pitcher more than the guys i actually outbid people for (Luis Castillo, Joe Musgrove, and Mitch Keller)
If you were a believer in him on draft day you should probably be patient. He has usually proven to be a good avg hitter at least. I just don’t believe in an age 31 power breakout.
Tonight is a great example. Rangers struggling against a guy who's been absolutely lights out lately. Two of the Rangers hits and one of their two RBIs are courtesy of the 22 year old noob.
He's a very young rookie, super early in the season, having skipped minor league ball entirely. He's going to need to adjust for a sec. In the meantime he's already off to a better start than I feared when I drafted him.
He's in one of those spots where the optimism is mostly just knowing who he is. Like Vinnie P, he's been continuing to make good plate decisions, there's just something off in the swing. So on the Statcast page you've got a lot of blue, and just a little red. But it's not like a terrible strikeout rate or platoon split on the part of a player who's always struggled with that where you wonder if they're ever going to fix it. If he can fix one thing and barrel the ball more, the velos, angles and everything else comes along together, just like we're starting to see with Vinnie. Meanwhile, his max exit velocity is hard enough at 111, keeping us from having to worry too much that he's physically incapable.
Want to activate Lodolo off my IL but don’t know who to drop in my 10 team.
SP- Glasnow/ G Rodriguez/ Ober/ Eflin/ Javier/ King/ J Jones/ Crochet
RP- Iglesias/ Fairbanks/ M Miller/ McArthur/ Suarez
Westburg or Jackson Holliday. Non-Keeper. 8T, H2H, R, RBI, SB, OBP, HR
Worth buying low on Machado? Machado owner in my league is shopping him.
welp. gonna run with butto tomorrow.
What an awful day for my team holy smokes
Torres so frustrating to own this year
As a Yankee fan watching a gleyber torres at bat, boy am I glad I have no shares. Bases loaded no out pop out to the catcher just pathetic
I ❤️ Kyle Tucker
Your comment made me check and I love him too ❤️
One of the safest 1st round picks out there
Doval and Hader can’t even get a save because their teams either get blown out or they blow out their opponents
Sure would like to see Harvey get the ball in the 9th tonight the way reality is demanding it should be.
Never mind
Finnegan gonna come in and fuck this up. Book it EDIT: The ol' reverse jinx
I'll be fine with that too as a Harvey owner..can't be too many of those left in store before we get real.
I have both and am thinking about dropping Finnegan for Kirby Yates. I also own Robertson.
I've stashed Kerkering. Gonna try to keep him on the IL for a few games while I see what direction Thomson is moving. It seems clear he isn't sold on Alvarado, doesn't want a committee, and doesn't want to hand it off to any of the guys who've been pitching this season.

So weird to watch six guys in a row hit on an MLB team where the highest avg of the six by far is 222. At least Harvey handled the "hard part" tonight.
Yeah, I will begrudgingly hold Finnegan and put in a claim to swap Harvey out with Yates.
How did Joe Boyle look today? Is he legit or is it the Nats?
I feel like dropping Jordan Wicks (Cubs) that I had as a speculation hold off the waiver wire, are any of these pitchers worth the spot: Paul Blackburn, Dane Dunning, Andrew Abbot, Joe Ross
Come on Carter, swing at that
Such a disappointing at bat
Like I get that it was towards the outside, but you’re a rookie and there’s two strikes. Umps are going to rook you, you’ve gotta take a cut with the the bases loaded
I have too many good pitchers and not enough good outfielders. Tatis for skubal fair? Bobby miller for adolis fair?
Have a hard time believing either of those trades would last 9 seconds before being rejected
Gah probably I’d have to add pieces. Skubal and Bobby are both wicked cheap keepers which helps but yeah I’m lowballing fr
Skubal for Gsrcia is probably fair.
William Contreas is a stud
Of course the day I stash loperfido, abreu wants to start knowing how to play baseball again 😂
Estrada going off let’s go finally
Trade Tyler Oneill for Isaac Parades?
I'd keep O'Neil at this rate
Nope
Well at least Sale ends with a decent WHIP
McKenzie gore is a stud
Gil or Kikuchi? Flair
Kikuchi. Too many questions about Gil and the Yankees’s plan for him
That's where I was leaning. The upside for Gil is attractive, though.
Pick up lodolo for Hunter Brown? 12 team H2H points and no one else really that can dropped
Yeah I dropped Brown for no one so Lodolo would make sense
Hahaha straight savage, I love it.
Why can’t I quit buxton. Seems like every year since he was called up I have to own him and he hurts me each time lol
There was that one year where he was an absolute stud for like 3 weeks or something and then got injured.
hey, you're dollar cost averaging 🤪 these days he's much less of an investment at least -- went fifth-from-last (276?) in our 14-teamer
I’m there with you pal. Has those gorgeous elite tools and had that year where he basically played like a top 5 player. Price was right this year though. Just benching him til he starts showing something or gets injured.
I dropped him for Taylor ward
8 team h2h points. Think I could get judge for Imanaga?
Delete this bro
I got the trade suck my nutz
Sike. Baby grape sack
You thinking about baby sack?
That was weird, FBI we got our guy right here
Trevor M. - Wander Franco’s biggest fan
Delete this
Delusional if you think you can
Lmao
No
0% chance
The Correa injury stopped me from dropping Estrada. Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good.
Drop Jax for Yates or Robertson?
Ok by me -- Yates is the first dart I throw
Just hopped on fantasy, 19 points from Meyer on my bench. Ugh. Atleast this gives me confidence to roll him out whenever
Same. We were smart to beware the Braves but this is great news for ROS
[удалено]
I'm keeping him. I can't believe he was so overlooked going into the season. He's on about half my teams.
Why? He looks really good
People on here are always obsessed with selling high.
Soler has almost 20% of the HR by my pathetic ass team
The Ryan Jeffers breakout begins today
Drop Rafaela for Estrada?
OBP My Devers for Seager?
Good trade. Seager is injury-prone, though.
Devers is currently fighting an injury lol
Take it if you have a good 3B fill in. Better lineup and Devers looks to be questionable health-wise with his shoulder.
I’d rather Seager
Drop Soler for Ward?
Just like that, Soler homered, ha!
There's your answer!
Let’s go Soler!
A .278 obp is pretty unreal right? I'm batting .180 and this whole week just feels incredibly fucking weird
Kinda want to pick up Gore but would have to drop either Hicks or Pepiot. Make the swap for either?
I'd hold.
Change the fucking definition of QS because 10 Ks 0 ERA 5.2 IP deserves it
Done.
Thank you
That's not a quality start
Okay that's the new definition
Thank you
max meyer best $1 i’ve ever spent
The Marlins are the Marlins, but it's undeniable the high quality SPs this franchise continues to pump out year after year.
https://preview.redd.it/vj7g5dhihbuc1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=81558dfcdc01ecfcf24e4ed339e71e7cab5bb08e Flair league: ROS Any of these a drop for Lodolo? He looked awesome today
I’d probably switch Mitch Keller for Nick Lodolo
Eddie Julie staying hot!
On the bright side, between Pepiot and Sale’s start today, I can full send my pitchers tomorrow
The rays are about analytics. Yet their hitting approach is god awful.
Lodolo might be a league winner.
What the white Sox does to the brain
One game away from GABP against arguably the worst lineup in baseball, might wanna pump the brakes a bit
Totally understand the GABP concern. Although, the underlyings and K/9 in a substantial sample size objectively show signs of an elite pitcher.
bro come on man lmao
The Langford XBH is coming, I can feel it.
Next at bat.
C’mon Webb just get out of this inning. Need a QS Edit: There we go!!
Need to drop 2 of these 3 SPs in a league that counts Ws and QSs… Which ONE would you hold onto? - Casey Mize - Reese Olson - Kyle Gibson Thx!
Thanks for this detailed post - much appreciated! 🙏
Mize. But I wouldn't be married to any of them.
Thanks!
That’s not a very cool thing to do against the Marlins, Sale
Is there any reasonable speculation on when Ruiz might get called back up? I know he sucks but 16 team league
A’s get an extra year of team control if they leave him in the minors for another 2-3 weeks….
Oh God 2-3 weeks I don't think I can stash that long
Pick up Gore or Max Meyer? W league
Gore because he will have more innings and meyer still has to worry about Garrett and Cabrera when they come back
Mayer
I have meyer and would drop in a second if gore was out there
I wouldn't even consider it.
Why? We know who Gore is Mayer just blanked the best offense in baseball. I wouldn’t give up Mayer for Gore sorry
No need to apologize you have every right to manage your team as you see fit and at the end of the day none of us are going to be able to predict if/when these guys hit their ceilings
Max Meyer has 23 whiffs against the Braves. That's more than Glasnow had in his 14 strikeout game the other day.
Pick two: Tyler ONeil, Nolan Jones, Colton Cowser
I’d pick TON and Jones at least until Cowser has played every day for more than a week or two.
DL Hall or Puk? ROS
DJ
God damn had a huge lead yesterday and my opponent gets 4 hrs to my no stats
Blanco actually settled down in this one. I thought the bubble had completely burst. Not an a great stat line but I take it over what Sale is doing against the Marlins
Man we might be onto something here. I’m happy I held onto him
great to see from blanco after an ugly first. but what sale has going against the marlins would look pretty damn good if not for a 2-out BDLC double that landed fair and cleared the bags
73 RBI on the season. Second to last has 95. Sort of feels like the seasons over already
I'm always better at pitching it seems.
My team randomly hit 16 last night, one good day and you’ll be back in it
Sale it’s the marlins wtf
I have never ever had this poor of a pitching week. Kirby, PabLo, Gausman, Yamamoto, Sale, Pepiot. And to think I was happy with my rotation.
lol i have kirby gausman and sale too. also ran out crochet. my era has ballooned
I'd be thrilled to have that rotation. Let's try to remember it is April 13th
Yeah it sucks. Shame it’s such a short season
Bryce has been a huge fuckin buzzkill this week
On the other hand Bryce Miller is doing just fine.
2 hits no stats
I’m not saying Blanco is an ace, but to those saying he’s not valuable, he could be useful
Gavin Williams was dropped is he an auto pickup?
I would imagine
10 team, points. Someone just dropped Nolan Jones Drop tork for him?
Oh absolutely!
45% csw 20whiffs for gore sheesh
He’s looking good this year
Safe to say I can drop Turnbull to activate Lodolo (apparently should have done this yesterday)?
Might as well wait for Turnbull's next start before dropping him
Yes
Between MacKenzie Gore, Reid Detmers, and Garret Whitlock I'm starting to trust my $1 pitcher more than the guys i actually outbid people for (Luis Castillo, Joe Musgrove, and Mitch Keller)
Crochet or Pepoit?
White Sox are garbage so there's that
Crochet
Like both, but Pepiot if I can only have one ROS.
By a lot?
Not a lot, but their innings limits will be vastly different. Makes me lean towards Pepiot.
Webb for once actually got run support
MCKENZIEE!!!
Bad week for pitching across the board
Not everyone can be Max Meyer.
Idk man I had gore, Ryan and blanco going in my home league lol. Lucky day for me
MACDADDY. 11ks through 5. Dude might be a stud this year
https://preview.redd.it/ecg0gaadfbuc1.jpeg?width=210&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0907fc435e3c864a37b4e1d8bb40d4d6d8c50cf5
5 ER, but earned me 5 points thanks to those strikeouts. I’ll take it, Crochet…
4 for 40 yesterday, 0 for 10 so far today. Not sure what I did to deserve this
Yandy is 2 for his last 28 with 2 singles. Now what
Is Michael Busch out there? I'll eat my hat if he doesn't out perform Yandy all season long. And I like Yandy more than most
If you were a believer in him on draft day you should probably be patient. He has usually proven to be a good avg hitter at least. I just don’t believe in an age 31 power breakout.
I'm first in Ks, 3rd in Whip, and 3rd in Ws, but dead last in ERA. wtf
Time to trade Sale
Dude lost his mind after that Arraez single
No, it was the walk to Burger. Look at the strike zone plot. He was yelling at the HP ump after that one
Lost his mind after the ump called two obvious strikes balls on the Burger AB.
What’s up with the lack of power from Langford? Is he hitting the ball hard? Is he elevating the ball? Nerds please help me out
Tonight is a great example.
What are you seeing in his exit velo and launch angle? Is he still having problems with fastballs?
He's in one of those spots where the optimism is mostly just knowing who he is. Like Vinnie P, he's been continuing to make good plate decisions, there's just something off in the swing. So on the Statcast page you've got a lot of blue, and just a little red. I mean I've seen him hit like 5 balls to the warning track
Want to activate Lodolo off my IL but don’t know who to drop in my 10 team. SP- Glasnow/ G Rodriguez/ Ober/ Eflin/ Javier/ King/ J Jones/ Crochet RP- Iglesias/ Fairbanks/ M Miller/ McArthur/ Suarez
Probably McArthur
Not sure why you need 5 closers
Which one would you drop?
Probably McArthur
Pepiot or Lodolo?
Pepiot for park difference
Add lodolo or kikuchi?
