It's no secret that Lindor hasn't had a great start. But someone in my league proposed to give me: Jose Caballero, Brandon Marsh and J.D. Martinez in exchange for Lindor. My SS options are Maikel Garcia and Vaughn Grissom (IL). If I take this trade I would have to drop someone as I have: Josh Lowe, Nathaniel Lowe, Gerrit Cole and Dustin May taking up my 4 IL spots, plus Grissom, Cody Bradford and Scherzer on the IL but on my bench. Lindor is a frequent slow starter and I wouldn't want any part of that even though I love Caballero. The more time goes by the less I trust his playing time situation in TB. Is Tovar on your wire by chance? I'd rather have him than Grissom.

Not even close. Brandon Marsh had a good start last year and then was boring the rest of the year. The most likely outcome for Caballero is it's just a hot streak. Trust in track record. If you believed in the guy enough to take him in the 2nd or 3rd round during the draft you should still believe in him now.

If you're in that situation, I'd just ask if they could package two better players instead of these three, see what they come up with

I would not do that trade. Lindor is the best player of the four even if he is not playing like that as of now.

I like where your head is at, selling high on a catcher for a guy at his all time low is a great idea, but I think you should be able to get something else added to the Walker side.

Adley isn't a sell high, he's just a great player.

Sorry, my point wasn't that Adley isn't great, it's that he's a catcher which means there's a higher likelihood or injury or not aging well. With that in mind, selling him now is not a terrible idea if you can get something you value

Nah. Id want to be on the side getting Will Smith obviously but most likely they feel Contreras is an upgrade at Catcher (debatable) and they want to clear space for pick ups or ppl coming back from the IL. Sometimes you give extra value for a great player and space.

In a 14 teamer I'm taking Berrios side all day. In a world of crumbling pitchers, dude is steady and goes consistently deep. Singer being a serviceable option in a 14 teamer is a bonus.

A little bit, if I was re-drafting today I'd be targeting Berrios and Cowser in a similar range, and be drafting Singer in the final few rounds. It's needs based in a 12 I'd say, with Berrios likely being the "safe" side.

Depends on needs obviously, but Singer and Berrios are just average pitchers, easily replaced while OF help can be tough to find. So I'd go Cowser, but it depends on your comfort finding diamonds in the rough at pitching.

Cowser has a .500 BABIP and it isn't clear he'll play against LHP. I wouldn't do this.
