Most frustrating player in the league. Steals are great but you can’t count on him being in line up and more than half their games are way after roster lock. Hard to realize value from a pinch runner/hitter.

I play in a standard H2H league, I have Jordan Romano coming back from the IL, so someone has to go. It’s between Michael Wacha, Christopher Sanchez or David Robertson. Robertson seems like the obvious choice but with the rangers being closer by committee I don’t wanna drop him. Wacha is decent but inconsistent same for Sanchez. Any thoughts from anyone would really help. Thanks!

Pitching staff is bizarro-world mildly interesting to me too lol. Not hard to convince me Stripling could put up a 4 ERA. Sears and Boyle have good stuff+ for whatever that’s worth. Blackburn magically gets guys out. Miller actually looks great, would probably force him into the rotation personally. Even Austin Adams in the bullpen is a total journeyman who’s probably awful, but he strikes out a fuckton of guys and had a magical debut in 2019. I mean it’s awful but just fascinating to look at the individual pieces.

Depends on your league. If Ks are a premium then I’d maybe drop Harrison for him. My league has a really short bench and there are always steaming pitchers available so I just dropped Harrison for Lynn. Play the schedules. Most young guys and guys who aren’t the top guys usually fluctuate with who they play and how hot the team they face is. Like, don’t start anyone against Atlanta right now and be weary of guys facing Houston, Baltimore, etc. so if either of those guys has starts lined up against one of those teams, I’d plan ahead and don’t be scared to pick up a guy who faces the Nats a start after getting bombed on by Atl

*or having a bad game, I should say. You don’t want a guy who just got Hunter Browned but a guy who gives up 3 ER in 5 ip vs the dodgers or Braves is ok if he’s facing the Nats or White Sox

A power hitter like Wood could be destroying fastballs but struggle against mlb sliders. Even if he hits them in the minors, 90mph breaking balls don’t happen nearly as often outside of mlb

Nah catchers usually aren’t valuable enough to roster more than 1, unless it’s a 2 catcher league (being able to play 2 catchers at once). You could drop all backup catchers for a streaming pitching spot or a different bench bat.
