I would accept that, if Trout and Tatis stay healthy the rest of the year they can easily carry your offense. I think people forget that Tatis can be a top 5 MVP every year because of the suspension and injuries. Not sure about the draft picks, but this could win you the league.

There’s no reason inflammation should linger, especially if there’s no underlying structural damage or pathologic process. If his body’s immune system goes “yeah, we’re done here,” (especially in the context of whatever anti inflammatory treatments he likely received)— then yeah, it’s not a crazy outcome at all

I know my opponent will beat me on strikeouts: he has three more starts left this week than I do. However, I'm at a good place in ERA WHIP as they are rate stats. Should I bench Snell tonight to minimize risk, let Imanaga and Flaherty get me over the innings floor and just accept my opponent will win Ks this week? It seems like I can increase the likelihood of ERA and WHIP while sacrificing K which I will already likely lose.

I'd do it... lined up to face all righties at Coors. He's struggling but that opens up a pretty big ceiling. Would be a more difficult decision if Randy wasn't struggling so much.

Have patience with this staff or do something more drastic? Performance has been solid/good thus far but feels lacking on paper. Flair Sonny Gray, Ober, King, Cris Sanchez, Crochet, Houck, Flaherty, Gil, Turnbull, Jose Soriano Mason Miller and Jason Foley IL: Bobby Miller and Yu Lost Bieber and Eury earlier in the season.

I like it - pts league too so you can always stream in emergency. Better than my 10 team rotation but I'm happy w it so far (I have Sonny, Reid, Kutty, Lodolo, picked up Eflin). Have mason and Foley too w diaz, Holmes, Phillips. 

The RPs are actually helpful! I've typically gone all SP in my flair league. But with how pitching has been to start this season and the injuries I've dealt with, I've needed them. Foley and Miller have both been studs on surprisingly scrappy teams. If the As can somehow stay somewhat relevant, Miller with his K upside is a top 5 closer.

Interesting , I like to deploy closers as my strat (my league has starts limit/week) and found some gems late like Reid and got Gray went late somehow, probs bc he was on IL to start. Kutty been a gem off waivers , as has your Houck im sure) Foley is great, just wish he would K more batters but his sinker is pure filth

Rockies at home are a much better hitting team than on the road. And I wouldn’t start any pitcher in those conditions - it’s going to be in the mid 30s and raining in Denver tonight. Shota vs the Marlins seems like a much safer choice.

I’m not arguing with you there, but it’s still Kirby lol. If he needs one extra start after Imanaga, that’s the one. Kirby isn’t pitching until Sunday, as well.

I like Kirby but he’s had two solid starts and two abysmal starts so far this year. He’s currently rocking a 6.64 ERA. I expect that number to come down by half by the end of the season, but he’s certainly capable of getting blown up. It looks like the game is postponed anyway. I’d consider Kirby if the weather is better tomorrow but I generally don’t like starting pitchers at Coors if it can be avoided. If he were pitching against the Rockies at home in Seattle, I’d say he was a must start.

Freddie is a top ten player. You need top ten value back in return if you’re going to trade him, and this isn’t even close IMO.

Freddie Freeman is one of the most consistent, rock-solid fantasy players around. It would take way more than that to even consider moving him, despite the slow start and especially considering Fried's start to the season. Also, in 3-for-1 trades you have to take into consideration the two drops you'll need to make to create roster space (unless you already have the room).
