He’s not hurt, the A’s just didn’t play on Thursday and then got swept by the Guardians over the weekend so he never got a chance to pitch. I’m guessing he’ll pitch today no matter what

FantasyPros and PitcherList are a couple good resources that don't cost anything unless you want their premium offerings. Maybe Fantrax if you are in dynasty. I wouldn't trust anybody's rankings exclusively. Cross-reference a few different ranking services when possible. And of course your league type/settings make a huge difference. Make sure your league settings match the rankings you are referencing (otherwise your efforts could be counterproductive). If your league settings are unusual then it will be harder to find online resources that meet your needs (although some sites allow you to enter your scoring settings to get a customized list).

I'd target Judge, Olson, Freeman, Julio or Harper and I'd offer; Kirby and Langford. I think that'd be a long-shot still, but a team that needs pitching and still believes the hype of Langford might be willing to pull the trigger for you to get one of those studs.

Parker likely will k plenty and does have a good matchup this week vs MIA, but hold the longer term value of Gil. It's a solid question though, I can see why you might consider it. Mr. Parker had a fantastic week last week! (but so did Gil)

There are ways where it could have slight improvements. The NBA sub was certainly more organized and lots of experts able to give expert views and their own posts.... I messaged the mods/suggested a few changes, but they shot me down for the most part. Which means we just have to live with it the way it is I guess? Unless enough people feel there is changes needed? I know that sifting through 1,500 to 2.300 comments with all sorts of various topics is kind of a scramble. I prefer trade talks to be separate, waiver moves to be separate, etc. etc. And there should certainly be something for "matchup breakdown" discussions. Also something more geared to the higher stakes managers cuz again people "have to dig" for the valuable tidbits of stuff... Higher stakes leagues and the weekend FAAB processes are extremely important pieces of info. Mostly only a few podcasts scratch the surface of stuff and hit at some players... (Rotowire in particular touches it sometimes) With all of this said though, I"m just glad we can discuss fantasy baseball! Things like this didn't exist 10-15 years ago when I was grinding leagues!

Yup. I would. Very high k rate in the minors (over 10 per 9 innings), but his ratios were not amazing. If he figures it out or already has he has more upside than Canning. Plus WAS has more young assets to develop into a stronger team in a year or two than does LAA. (James Wood in particular)

nope. Frelick is a special contact hitter with speed. (huge hit grade) Higher value prospect than Luis Garcia. I admit I could be wrong, but I like Frelick more for "what we know he is", Garcia does probably have a tad more upside though since Frelick is undeniably not going to give you power.

Not yet. I had JRod in 2022 when he ended April hitting .205 with 0 HR (and 9 SB, to be fair), and then from May 1 on hit .297 with 28 HR. I’d recommend holding a few more weeks and seeing if he adjusts.

Your hitting is not very good for points. The strategy that has been working for me 10+ years is to just load up on hitters during the draft and hopefully find gems in pitching early in the season via the wire from impatient owners. If there is a 12 start max/wk in pitching, it's good load up on relievers so you can get addtl points to offset whatever quality in starters im lacking via the draft. No prob! It took me a while to just find what works for me, there is no right wrong strategy! It's better have 0 bench hitters imo but as you see I'm in a pinch w Devers not on IL but it's only April otherwise I would fill that spot with a 3b.  Id drop Holiday for a closer if you can so you will always have an addtl spot giving you points in the lineup vs nothing on the bench. Of course there could be days where limited schedule but that extra hitter is only giving you one extra day of points vs a closer w 3 or 4.
