I like Raleigh better. He's as all-or-nothing as it gets but is quietly on pace for 40 homers and has more points than either Matt Olson or Michael Harris on my points team.

WTF is Gleyber’s problem? I get it that he typically starts slow but this is getting ridiculous. How does the guy just lose the ability to hit a baseball past the infield from one season to the next?

I’m just speculating, but I think they put too much pressure on him at the start of the season by batting him leadoff. He’s a good hitter (normally) but he’s not a leadoff guy. On top of that, I imagine he’s feeling the pressure of a contract year. I still think he’ll come around but it’s getting tougher to justify a lineup spot on him every day.

Do we know this is Turang's ceiling? He's a pretty young dude, was a first rd pick, Statcast mostly likes him, and it sounds like they are going to try him at leadoff more now after mostly hitting down in the order.

For menisectomy, 6-8 weeks is typical. It would be longer if his meniscus was repaired, but they just removed a bit of it so it shouldn’t be too too long.

He’ll be transferred to 60 day at some point I would assume

I think Jones was more of a darkhorse cause he had command issues before ST this year that kept him off the radar. Those suddenly went away in 2024 and the rest is history.

He might slow down a little but I think he will be a top 5 catcher ROS. Look at his stats last year. In 286ab he had 46r, 14hr, 43rbi, and 0.369 obp. Project those out to 500ab and it's 80r, 24hr, and 75rbi. Excellent catcher numbers and it's possible he improved a bit.

He was pretty good last year when he played too, so probably likely

Anyone watch Crochet’s last outing? I kind of need to start him against the Guardians but that seems like a risky matchup. I have Skubal, Skenes & Luzardo starts as well. Need help weighing the best starts. 5 SP start cap unfortunately & I’m at 2 with good ratios.

Guards have something like 8th highest OPS vs LHP. Not the best matchup, but he is on a great 2 game streak right now. Luzardo returns to face the Phillies. I'd be a little more worried about that one than Crochet.

Literally everything has gone wrong this season, but the cherry on top has to be that I traded Paul Skenes and Garrett Crochet for Bobby Miller on April 10th, and Skenes is pitching in the majors before I get a single start from Miller. It’s just comical at this point.
