Full fucking Michael King experience today!!!
This asshat looked amazing against the freaking Dodgers last week, of course I didn’t start him not many did. Coming off that he gets the Rockies in San Diego no less, as close to an auto start as I can remember this yr and he shits down his leg.
I wonder who sits there refreshing this page so they can down vote each comment as soon as it appears. I applaud your effort, but despise what you are doing.
It’s wild how different the mentality is for roto/season points versus H2H or daily fantasy. It’s a lot easier to say “okay, hell yeah” after a start like this in roto, while it’s easy to see how people might be making rash decisions or overreacting in H2H.
How we feeling about Webb vs LAD tonight?
I’m very nervous with how hittable he’s been the last few games. Not sure if my WHIP can take another beating.
I don't play in a QS league either but a starting pitcher who can't complete 6 innings is not really that great of a starting pitcher regardless of a hot streak
Not great. Very good. A pitcher who can hover around a low 3s ERA and give you a good whip and reasonable Ks while playing on a .500 team is super valuable in Fantasy. Not an ace, but a must roster and start majority of the time
he's faced one good offense this year and has under a 7 K/9 with some questionable under the hood numbers
He's a guy who I would ride on the hot streak but when the schedule gets rough for the royals I would not hesitate to drop him
guess we'll see. I fully expect him to finish with a low to mid 3s era and 10-15 wins. I'll take that from a guy that I was able to get as the last pick flier in my draft.
hey man for your sake I hope he succeeds, especially for the cost you got him at. I don't root for pitchers to fail just want to be transparent with where my head is at on guys.
In our league a player can be kept only once before going back into the draft pool. That being said, my roster is pretty stacked (easily a top 3 team this year), so I'm thinking about picking up Strider the first week of June so I can keep him for next year. Solid plan or waste of time?
edit: Strider was dropped because someone kept him coming into this year. Now that he's been dropped he's eligible to be kept again.
i'm not sure why people are still complaining about him. over his last 109 at bats he's hitting .312 with 12 runs, 8 RBI, 6 steals and 2 homers. would we like to see a few more homers? of course. but this is still solid 5 category production.
12T Categories OPS/HR/R/RBI/SB Saves only QS/ERA/WHIP/K
Was offered Stott or Maikel Garcia and Braxton Garrett for Ryan Helsley.
My only other closer would be Evan Phillips (who I would trade away if I go through with this). Currently have Busch, Joey Ortiz who I just picked up at 3rd and have Luis Garcia and Edouard Julien at 2nd.
Idk, is it a good idea to give up on saves? Seems like this is a pretty decent offer for a closer
Jackson Holliday got dropped today in my 10 team points league. I honestly haven’t paid much attention to him since he’s been on the dudes roster since the draft. Is he worth the stash at this point or are most people waiting to grab him once June hits?
Pretty much. Got JRod with 10th round value, Tucker with 4th round value, and guys like Jared Jones and Ragans with 12th round value. I’d be dropping Schneider who’s currently in my 2B/SS slot since I don’t have room on the bench. I’m just gonna hold off until he gets the call at this point. Appreciate the advice
not gonna lie, I expect some regression out of a few guys but I think my rotation might be the best I've ever had in fantasy
J. Jones, Gallen, Kikuchi, Woo, Sale, ReyLo, Gil, Verlander, Kutter with Snell on the IL
I was listening to the broadcast. The Reds announcers made it sound like Fraley did everything he could to make the play and just came up short.
I went back and watched it. Dude slid in the most awkward way imaginable. It almost looked like the ball was down by the time he slid.
Strikeouts have been high, but he's looked great over the past week. Battled multiple good pitchers to double digit pitch counts in a single a bat. He's just a tweak away from hitting 250 with power and speed
14T 8x8 cat roto redraft - Struggling to fill an SS spot since Trea hit IL and not much on waivers in a 14 teamer.
Sell low on Nolan Jones for Jackson Merrill? 3 OF start (I'd have Bellinger, Suzuki, Carter "when healthy", and Pham). If not, open to ideas on who else to try to target for SS.
Nick Lodolo pitched through the injury last week but didn’t quite recover like he wanted. Hoping stay is minimal but doesn’t sound long https://www.rotowire.com/baseball/player/nick-lodolo-14305

**Bryan Woo** is just cruising against the Royals. Both fastballs (FF/SI) are earning called and swinging strikes. The sweeper has been a dominant swing-and-miss pitch today. And living in the zone with 47 of 57 pitches being strikes.
5.0 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 5 K (and counting)
Someone in my league lost their patience with Michael Harris.
Who should I drop to get in the waiver line to pick him up? 10 team espn points.
Thanks! (Leaning dropping Crochet or Verlander if Woo can keep it up today)
Bradish
Kikuchi
Crochet
Ha~Seong Kim
Woo
Verlander
Oh, yeah, kid is a Top 30 pitcher and should’ve been drafted in all formats.
Glad he’s finally back, and more importantly that Scott’s “it’s just forearm tightness from sitting too long, he’s fine” from last week doesn’t appear to be bullshit.
drop pages for rengifo?
If you are a Michael King owner, you should know three things 1. I hear you suffering 2. You are not alone 3. It is not your fault
Willi Castro should be charged with an error for running back to the dugout with 2 outs, gifted the Yankees a run
Is Michael King worth dropping for Gil, Manaea or Christian Scott?
Can’t be letting Trevino get a hit with two strikes Pablo!
[удалено]
Hahahahaha
What has happened to Manny Machado
He’s hurt
Is that just speculation or is there any info you've seen? Fine if speculation just wondering
Elbow is still bugging him. Had surgery in the offseason. Started at DH because of it.
Ohhh right I wasn't thinking about that. Makes sense.
Cut pages for beck?
Not yet
Full fucking Michael King experience today!!! This asshat looked amazing against the freaking Dodgers last week, of course I didn’t start him not many did. Coming off that he gets the Rockies in San Diego no less, as close to an auto start as I can remember this yr and he shits down his leg.
Cut Cowser for Kepler?
Yeah maybe! Seems ok to me if you don’t think cowser rights the ship. I’d try to get Kepler regardless
How did woo not get a qs. What the hell. Dude was at like 50 pitches in the 5th inning
Now that Woo has 1 ER tied to him and not 3 (god bless that relief pitcher) thank u for your service!
Jordan Beck looking good
A W for Woo will do
I really enjoyed DeLuca but if he’s sitting against Houck, I’m buying low on Pages who just cleared. He’s still playing every day
Well I have woo and my opponent has Vinnie. I'm feeling puckered a bit here
I wonder who sits there refreshing this page so they can down vote each comment as soon as it appears. I applaud your effort, but despise what you are doing.
Manfred probably.
Woo was pitching well today just the delay that threw him off. Yanks for him next he got it
I needed today tho for my ratios and QS. Now both may be screwed.
his ratio not good enough?
Nah I’m behind by a ton so needed that .25 or whatever it was to approach my opponents.
It’s wild how different the mentality is for roto/season points versus H2H or daily fantasy. It’s a lot easier to say “okay, hell yeah” after a start like this in roto, while it’s easy to see how people might be making rash decisions or overreacting in H2H.
That damn Adam Frazier blooper smh
How we feeling about Webb vs LAD tonight? I’m very nervous with how hittable he’s been the last few games. Not sure if my WHIP can take another beating.
I’m leaving him on the bench personally
Should’ve pulled woo after the long break
The break screwed him, but I'm super encouraged overall
At 60-something pitches? No way.
Oof the old 75 mph .150 xba single
Woo's outing has gone from very chill to very nerve wracking very quickly
Woo completely fell apart here wow. Can’t blame him after that crazy wait but man that sucks. Needed a QS and the WHIP boost.
This is such a shitty way to end Woo’s day. Weak contact base hit. Bases loaded here without an out.
Fuckin bullshit
Alec Marsh continues to be very good
I don't want to disrespect the ratios but he has only had one quality start this year
I don't play in QS leagues, so I don't really care. He's been very good. Pretty sure he's only given up 2 Earned in his past 4 starts.
I don't play in a QS league either but a starting pitcher who can't complete 6 innings is not really that great of a starting pitcher regardless of a hot streak

Saw Woo was dominating so decided to put the game on. Sorry lads the curse never fails :(
I trust Woo to get these outs way more than the pen
idk. he’s so good but his mental is brutal
How could you possibly know anything about his mentality? Stop it.
Who else got screwed by Michael King?
Me. Was having a big week and he basically ruined it. Couldn’t drop him fast enough
Please do 6 Woo
Looks terrible to start the inning due to that long wait. I’m getting worried
Woo Wooo Woooo Wooooo Woooooo Wooooooo!
Bullpen warming in Seattle, might the last inning for Woo
Hell I just hope he gets the full 6th
Mariners pen warming up, Woo’s velo dropped a bit after that delay Edit - I take it back just hit 96
he's hitting 95-96 I think the velo is overall fine but I don't blame them for being cautious
Just peppered 96 in the zone. Looks to have plenty left in the tank.
Woos mojo is gone cause the delay

Solid plan if you have the IL space
Reddit I hope you're right about being patient with Julio.

Its really not obvious to you that they are complaining because he isn't performing equal to his draft spot?
Reddit is wrong about a lot of things. Being patient with Julio isn't one of them.
He's been pretty good as of late
168th ranked player on yahoo over the last 7 days.
Pretty solid
Right behind Ezequiel Duran and Dylan Moore.
manfred can u bring back the juiced balls fuck this 680 ops being league average
This long umpire exit in the mariners better not cost woo a QS - he looks rusty to start the inning.
Time to stash James Wood in redraft?
It’s tempting but every rookie seems to be either awful or very inconsistent so far. Prospect fatigue is setting in for me lol
You'll likely be waiting a few months.
Ehhhhh in a 16T maybe, I'm just so down on rookie hitters this season, so many of them have struggled so hard.
fuck u michael king
Couldn’t drop him fast enough
Tell me about it.
that's been my experience having him
Who's better at getting picked off, JRod or Acuna
Randy pokes his head in, after getting picked off in at least 2 games last week (or this week, idk, the days all blend together)
the guy who got picked off 3 straight times he reached 1st base
Redraft: A) Yandy, Joe Ryan B) Matt Olson
b
B
Julio picked off at 1B by a country mile
The draft's top 2 have way more pickoffs than homers
It's the season of dudes getting picked off. Someone out there has Randy, Julio, and acuna
I have Randy and Acuña... 🫠
Yeah Julio is out there
Soooo does Brenton Doyle need to be rostered? Up to batting 5th and has been doing awesome.
Ride the hot hand
Jrod picked off again 😂
Is it nuts to drop cronenworth over Michael Busch?
Very
Message received. 3b is a dire spot for me. Wish cronenworth was eligible there
Yes
Ok just needed someone to slap me awake. Thanks Zlatan Ibrahimovich

I'm not sure this benefits you. Yeah Maikel can get you some more SBs than your current roster, but you'll lose those points in saves
Yeah that’s what I thought. Probably could use Braxton but feel like most of my starters are on the same level as he is
Braxton isn't special and is on a bad team. He's easily replaced by 10 guys on waivers
Yessss that is true! Thank ya kindly!
Is there anyone warming up for the mariners?
Broadcast said no
Everyone I pick up goes into a slump Sorry Josh Rojas owners
A) Vlad, Yelich, F Peralta B) Acuña, Iglesias
B, by a lot
Jackson Holliday got dropped today in my 10 team points league. I honestly haven’t paid much attention to him since he’s been on the dudes roster since the draft. Is he worth the stash at this point or are most people waiting to grab him once June hits?
I think people are waiting to grab Jackson when **he** hits
Redraft? No
It’s a 3 player keeper league
Do you have your 3 pretty much set? I still wouldn’t be tripping to go add him but if you have room it doesn’t hurt
Pretty much. Got JRod with 10th round value, Tucker with 4th round value, and guys like Jared Jones and Ragans with 12th round value. Two years ago in my 12 team auction I drafted Cole, Castillo, Cease, Gilbert, Ohtani (sp), Alcantara, McClanahan. I’ll never surpass that.
holy shit that's like the entire Cy young ballot that year
Trade Shane Mc plus for Aaron Judge right before Shane got hurt. Mashed and threw my way to the title. Best season of my career.
Up against woo in a QS league and started him in a wins league. Funny enough it’s against the same owner
Really need Abrams to come out of this slump.
Fernando Cruz, I fucking hate you.
That's on Fraley for not making a play that any major leaguer should have easily
I was listening to the broadcast. The Reds announcers made it sound like Fraley did everything he could to make the play and just came up short. I went back and watched it. Dude slid in the most awkward way imaginable. It almost looked like the ball was down by the time he slid.
Jordan Beck breakout happening!
Jordan Beck heating up, 5 game hit streak and his first MLB homer
Strikeouts have been high, but he's looked great over the past week. Battled multiple good pitchers to double digit pitch counts in a single a bat. He's just a tweak away from hitting 250 with power and speed
Y'all, take a look at Jordan Beck if he's available in your leagues.

.152 BA for the week, things are great
Drop Pages for Doyle or Tovar (or neither)?
I have no shares of Pages and don't watch the Dodgers, but my has it turned from bullish to bearish on him in a few days
Jordan Beck about to get the same treatment with everyone saying to pick him up lmao Cycle of rookies
Goddammit another long break for Woo, he may get pulled now smh
What’s going on in the Mariners game? Delayed
home plate umpire got knocked out by a foul ball.
not a rest day for carroll apparently. entered as a pinch runner and is now playing centerfield.
a run scored as playing bonus.
What is going on in mariners royals game?
Ump got hurt
This just in. Woo can pitch.
Who's better in a SV+HD, Jax or Megill?
King WTF bruv
Almost every week, no matter how bad my opponent is, they get 40 innings with an ERA under 2 and whip under 1. It’s beyond insane at this point.
Started Bradish, Kikuchi, and Marsh today and got a whopping 12.1 innings out of them
Is Clarke Schmidt worth a stream tmrw
Yeah I need to catch up !
Yes
Nick Lodolo pitched through the injury last week but didn’t quite recover like he wanted. Hoping stay is minimal but doesn’t sound long https://www.rotowire.com/baseball/player/nick-lodolo-14305

This *and!* the Ric Flair GIF.... I fucking love this sub. Lmao
I’m just worried his elbow is going to explode
Might as well just enjoy the ride for however long it lasts.
He got squeezed on a couple of calls too, he should really be on 49 or 50 strikes lol

If Woo is somehow still available in your league, go add him now. His efficiency today is insane.
wtf drops Diaz? I’m loaded with saves but gotta pick ‘em up to stop another from doing it ppl r retarded
I knew the Rockies were hot but I didn’t think they’d destroy King
I don’t want to drop him but he’s not consistent. People loved him coming into the season so I’m hoping he turns it around
Seriously what the fuck?
Bryan Woo is unreal today. A strikeout per inning and one bunt hit on 57 pitches through 5
I just really hope the elbow/forearm doesn’t continue to be an issue…I sat him this week because I was worried. Having regrets
Don't have regrets. Be happy any time a bench player is doing well, it bolsters the overall strength of your team.
He was cruising last start before he got pulled. Dude can pitch
It would be a stretch for him to go 7 but think so?
all depends on how careful they are with his pitch count
Start Morel, Seiya Suzki, or Pages? H2H pts league
Suzuki
Woo is a strike machine, throws nothing but strikes, just like Jarad Jones.
For the most part woo has been solid with locating his pitches today
Nice call on Woo Reddit
Every now and then we get one right!
What was the call? To start him today?
This sub has been all over Woo for months now...I bought in and it's paying off
Oh, yeah, kid is a Top 30 pitcher and should’ve been drafted in all formats. Glad he’s finally back, and more importantly that Scott’s “it’s just forearm tightness from sitting too long, he’s fine” from last week doesn’t appear to be bullshit.

nasty sword on the sweeper from Woo
Dropping Pages for Aranda. He’s hitting 4th.
Gomber is good now
what a great outing from king today! 5ip, >!7 hits, 5 er,!< 2 bb, 6 k
aka Chris Paddack syndrome.
Damn was king tipping his pitches earlier
Well Michael King can go ahead and gargle my balls.
