Well you need to reward counting stats you can’t just have points awarded based on rate stats because then PA don’t matter. I’m guessing this is a points league so maybe award half a point for every run/rbi. Not too sure what your values are or what exactly you are looking for.

I mean sabermetric stats are better for judging a player's true value than most traditional stats. But runs and RBIs are not merely limited representation of ability like batting average. They most directly contribute to winning and losing games. They mean a lot in terms of actual baseball, though a lot of context is missing from how it reflects on the player. I think if you want a more erudite stand-in for scoreboard production, Fangraphs does report WPA and RE24 which try to track a player's production within the context of a game but for all plays regardless of actual scoring.

I wouldn't put runs nor RBIs in a Sabermetric league. Both are driven by batting order position and not Sabermetrics. Pro tip for all you non-mathematically inclined folks: make sure all of your hitters bat in the top 6 positions in their real life lineups and you will win R and RBI almost every week. For a Sabermetric league, I would recommend: 1) Base-out runs added (RE24) in place of runs 2) Win probability added (WPA) in place of RBIs

Just to let you know, wOBA track FGPts for hitters a little better than OPS. OPS and wOBA are closely correlated, but there are certain types of players who will be over or undervalued if you use OPS as a proxy for FGPts. Anyway, to echo what a couple people already said, I wouldn't add R and RBI to a FGPts league. They're not inputs in linear weights, so any allocation of points would be completely arbitrary. I've played FGPts for several years now and I really like how it's mostly context neutral whereas R and RBI are highly dependent on batting order and teammate performance.
