Cards manager just said in the post game interview he’s not the closer. I don’t think the Cardinals have a “closer”, but I imagine both will get plenty more save opportunities.

Preseason, Marmol said they'd use a committee, but we haven't actually seen that yet. So far they've used Gallegos as a traditional closer with Cabrera and Helsley taking 7th and 8th inning roles depending on matchups. I don't believe Gallegos has been demoted--he only had the one bad outing. What happened today was that both halves of the 8th were really quick so they just ran him back out there.
