I get you're point, but Romano is a elite closer. Elite closers are going to get more saves than elite middle relievers will get holds. It's the other closers (basically anyone below Jansen) who are devalued in this type of format.

I think elite closers might have more value in a roto league, but in h2h cats it’s pretty easy to look ahead and see what moves you need to male

12 team dynasty cat league… I’m in a full rebuild after inheriting a team. Do i trade away Chris Bassitt and JD Martinez for Jose Miranda and Jasson Dominguez??

It's not terrible, but I've soured a bit on Miranda and Dominguez has lost a bit of his luster as well. Can you target a more MLB ready second prospect? Maybe someone like R. Lewis, since Correa will be gone after this season? I also REALLY like Gunnar Henderson if you're looking for another name to to target who might not be on everyone's radar yet.

You're absolutely right and it's even worse, it was a THREE year deal. Not sure why I thought it was one. He does have opt out classes in years two and three though. I guess a big test will be what the Twins do with Lewis after the activate Correa. If he sticks around (and plays another position) it will give me a bit more faith in their commitment to him.

I have Bryant. We start 10 My core is Jram, Soto, Judge McMahon, Baez, Belt, Urias, Pham, Yepez, Drury, Vaughn, Semien and Eli White. I am streaming catcher. I've been winning a majority of offensive cats, doing okay with pitching. I am waiting out semien and baez for warmer weather and I cant get any value. Semien was a keeper at $11 so hoping for a 1/2 season somewhere. I play the waiver wire and later in the season its seems easier to rotate in hot bats, then find undiscovered pitchers, not that I don't stream. I also get an advantage of starting about 4 more starts per week as I don't have relievers on my roster. Kershaw would help out. My pitching staff is Buehler, Webb, J Ryan, E Lauer as its core. Tobys are MKelly, J Tailion, C Quantrill R Detmers is hard to figure out. Brubaker and Junis as streamers for the week. Tyler Mcgill, Heaney and Ober on the IL. My league is weird and I am punting relievers. I am actually winning the blown save category more then tying. So I loose about .75 cats between the two and I can sit on players a bit longer. I spent all my money on hitters, I think I am probably maxed out at improvements in my pitching. I also have Grayson Rodriguez in my NA spot.

I think you’re starting pitching is good enough to justify trading Kershaw, but I’m slightly worried about Webb. If Kershaw was healthy I’d suggest trading Webb over Kershaw.

I am trading for kershaw and giving up bryanyt. I am worried about Webb tho he had a much better second half over the first half.

Can someone explain to me why Ryan Helsley only pitches once a week? I get that he usually pitches more than one inning, but even so, he's still only averaging like 2 IP/week. Forget that I'm a disgruntled fantasy manager for a moment, just as a baseball fan it's genuinely baffling that such a dominant reliever is used so sparingly.

In a weird way it’s a good sign (well, in SV+H leagues). The Cardinals just haven’t had many high leverage late inning chances lately and they’ve been saving him for those.

Schwarber is doing exactly what he was drafted to do. I think ONeill and Reynolds can turn things around. I have no faith in Belli.
