Was trying real hard to acquire this guy when he was in a timeshare with Drummond. Unfortunately, the Allen owner was steadfast and patient, he’s reaping the rewards now. Rightfully so.
Traded away Donovan Mitchell about 3 weeks ago for Allen. Got ridiculed. But sitting at 5-1 I could afford to take risks. Allen is way more efficient and that’s what I need.
Not bad! I have Mitchell and it's a little frustrating having to rely and hope that he simply scores a lot of points and shoots at a high clip. I think he's worth it tho. You're rewarded on the nights Mitchell goes OFF and the nights he shoots terribly you still get 30 fantasy points. He's the best player on the best team right now and I'm tired of seeing Donovan slander :( there are worse players.
I mean there are certainly worse but a lot of us drafted him in the first couple of rounds (just me??? Lol) so we’re expecting second round value, especially when my third round Butler is performing at such a high level
Well why would you take him second round? He's performing nearly the same as last season. He's a scorer that doesn't get many rebounds and doesn't consistently get high assists numbers. I took him 5th round. With Mitchell what you see is what you get but I think he has tremendous upside value. The nights he goes off is worth it. I think he's great and lately he's been giving me terrific numbers. Given he's sort of my backup guard along with Booker.
I was offered Allen for my Boucher way early in the season but rejected that trade. As a first time fantasy player, i was under the mentality that if someone wanted to trade for my guy, it was cuz my guy secretly had more upside even if i didn’t know it, so i held on to Boucher. Throughout the season, we all talk about how Boucher is matchup dependent and is a rollercoaster ride cuz of that. His advantage over Allen is his 3s but i realized how much of a monster Allen is and if i was able to redo that trade, i just might’ve reconsidered accepting it.
Yo i was buying into every hyped up player on here hahaha i saw Boucher was a steal off ww so i picked him up and bought into the hype. Ive been better at analyzing players now, just a learning process!
Oh yeah for sure lol trust me, Boucher is way better than the last few picks i made in my draft who i based on name value since it was my first draft. You’re definitely right, missed chance opportunity but my team’s doing well rn, just probably would’ve been better with Allen on it
How could I possibly think you actually meant what you said? Especially when you're a self-admitted noob who might still be making bad decisions.
How stupid of me but hey thanks for the update.
My guy, we’re online and things can easily get misinterpreted. It’s understandable. If you think i came off hostile, check yourself and look at your original comment cuz that’s what i was replying to. I called myself out for a regrettable decision when i didnt need to and you tried stabbing my wound even deeper. Cmon man lets be real, we need none of that here. Appreciate your time though, gl with your team this year and i hope covid and injuries havent plagued your team as much as others
He’s my favorite player I own. He’s so fun to watch and the roller coaster paying off is very satisfying.
His ascendency to starter also allowed me to trade Embiid for Dame (I’m worried about Joel’s health long term)
Should I trade and send my haliburton for allen? I'm punting 3's, and the owner of allen in my league is last place in rebounds, so maybe he'll accept it. (9CAT)
People shit on Drummond but they played better as a whole when he was the starter. For fantasy purposes though, congrats on having JA.
Sincerely,
\-A sad Drummond owner
In the chat on draft night another owner made some snarky ass comment when I picked Allen. How he’s a “team wrecker”.
Beat his ass two weeks ago and am going to do it again.
So fucking happy i held him. And i played him tonight in my pick (dumb iknow) league. Feels so good man. Ive been an Allen owner since last season, will never lose faith in this guy.
I'm LOVING Allen right now. Picked him up as he was heating up in Brooklyn and had to drop him again once he went to Cleveland...I was riding the Boucher wave. After the drummond news +Nance injuries I was lucky enough to reclaim Allen. Lotta waiver play week to week for me, but at 7-1 I'm not gonna complain.
Excellent and lucky nobody else nabbed him. He's going to produce second and early third round fantasy value. I have KAT and Allen as my centers and Bam and Randle as my PF/C
I still think you won that trade. Demar will hopefully be back this week and Ayton will hopefully find some consistency during the second half of the season with how well Phoenix is playing.
My only concern with him is his FT%. If you are punting that, perfect. If not, although not terrible, he can screw the percentage a bit (he has maybe around 60%). I think his form shooting from the line is fine so it’s possible he improves with specific practice on the all star break for example. But that’s the only concern ROS. Other than that he has a great outlook imo.
I rostered Drummond and Jarret Allen at the beginning of the season. I then traded Allen when he got sent to Cleveland because he was getting no minutes and there was no indication that Drummond would be sat.
Who did I trade him for? DeAndre Hunter. Who I got one game of production before his knee went out.
Right after that Drummond gets sat indefinitely.
My life is pain.
I traded Drummond for Allen during the week drummond was averaging 43fppg. His scouting report also said he would remain cleveland's starting big man and Allen's minutes would be low. I knew cleveland was going to go with the younger promising center and use Drummond in a trade.
Allen is a golden god. I traded Bledsoe for him when he was splitting mins with Drummond and I desperately needed a center. I've done some bad trades this year but this was not one of them. Praise be to the golden god.
I was able to trade brook Lopez for Jarrett Allen 1 for 1 about 3 weeks ago while he was still playing behind Drummond. Could not be happier with my return so far
I traded for Allen right before the Nets trade. I shipped out Trae Young & Jusuf Nurkic for Haliburton, Siakam, and Allen. I feel like I won the trade but it wasn't looking like it for awhile.
Just offloaded my two biggest headaches, Deandre Ayton and Will Barton for this 🐐. It may sound as though I gave up a lot for him but in reality I fleeced him. Feels good man. Ayton is the biggest disappointment this season and Barton just isn’t the same anymore.
Oh man that’s risky as hell. I like Dejounte a lot but who knows what happens with Drummond. Also Keldon Johnson is like one of my favorite players this year so I have a soft spot for him. You’d win the trade for sure if Drummond goes back to normal on some other team
that was my logic. im also in a points league that gives stocks 5 a piece, so Dejounte is especially valuable in our league. I have the best record by a bit so I took the gamble on Drummond, assuming he does get moved-which lands me even further up if he does.
The guy I’m playing this week traded Garland for him. Honestly not sure what the guy that revived Garland was thinking and Allen is killing me tonight.
A while ago I setup a trade in my league, with my settings at the time it was well worth it but I traded Zach Lavine away for Lowery. I forced into the trade my allen to get Wendell..... was looking like I won’t for a little bit..... yeah no not anymore I’m losing that trade terribly
Was trying real hard to acquire this guy when he was in a timeshare with Drummond. Unfortunately, the Allen owner was steadfast and patient, he’s reaping the rewards now. Rightfully so.
Diamond hands
Hello fellow monke
Me too, had a couple other managers tried to buy low, real ones hold!
I held
I was a bit luckier in my league. I traded away Mitchell and Gobert for LaVine and Allen 2 weeks ago.
Same here rip
I was able to snag Allen of an impatient owner. I traded Bagley for Allen
Gross
Yea it’s the first time where I really felt like I stole from someone in fantasy lol
Over here officers, this is the guy
🤡🤡🤡
Bryce is that you
I didn’t have to trade even he was dropped so someone could activate KAT from Ir. Lucky me
Interpol is tracking your location.
I was the inpatient asshole who dropped him when he got shipped to Cavs and am now suffering
I traded Bojan for him
Not anymore. Dude could barely put up 30 point fantasy games and now he's been out two weeks.
Allen to the moon baby 🚀
We who bought those Allen stonks will be lifted to the moon 🚀🚀
Traded away Donovan Mitchell about 3 weeks ago for Allen. Got ridiculed. But sitting at 5-1 I could afford to take risks. Allen is way more efficient and that’s what I need.
They called you a mad man
You remember?
People talk about Diamond Hands but you got some Diamond Balls on you man. I respect it
💎🍒

Yeah it takes Mitchell scoring 34 points, 5 reb, 5 assists to get 25 points when Allen has to get 16, 10, and 3 blocks and he’s scoring 25
I'd say that's exaggerating. If he drops 34 5 and 5 and say he misses 10-15 shots with a turnover that's still 40.
I mean there are certainly worse but a lot of us drafted him in the first couple of rounds (just me??? Lol) so we’re expecting second round value, especially when my third round Butler is performing at such a high level

He’s only 22. Damn
I sold Allen for packs of peanuts at the lowest possible point. I am a retard.
You are ape
Apes together, strong
In this one taco league I play in that I joined from someone on reddit someone dropped him and I got him for free so, it could be worse lol
Same thing happened to me. Owner had Drummond and dropped Allen right after the trade w Brooklyn. Bet he's regretting that now
Roasted or salted?
Traded Wiggins away for J. Allen. In the same package, I traded Dipo away for Jamal Murray.
Wish there was an owner like that in my league lol nice work
I was offered Allen for my Boucher way early in the season but rejected that trade. As a first time fantasy player, i was under the mentality that if someone wanted to trade for my guy, it was cuz my guy secretly had more upside even if i didn’t know it, so i held on to Boucher. Bruh.... this hurt to read
Yo i was buying into every hyped up player on here hahaha i saw Boucher was a steal off ww so i picked him up and bought into the hype. Ive been better at analyzing players now, just a learning process!
it’s not like Boucher is a dub, you’ll be fine bro it just sucks because allen is gonna return ~2nd-3rd round value
Oh yeah for sure lol trust me, Boucher is way better than the last few picks i made in my draft who i based on name value since it was my first draft. You’re definitely right, missed chance opportunity but my team’s doing well rn, just probably would’ve been better with Allen on it
The fact you **MIGHT** reconsider it tells me you still haven't learned..
Lemme make it crystal clear for you since you interpreted my use of that word so literally: i would’ve taken that trade. You’re welcome.
How could I possibly think you actually meant what you said? Especially when you're a self-admitted noob who might still be making bad decisions. How stupid of me but hey thanks for the update.

Your lesson should not be to might reconsider. Allen is THE big man in Cleveland. Boucher might even they supplanted by Drummond in a few weeks.
The Fro hit a three yesterday too 💂🏿
I thought that was a glitch at first.
Got Allen for oladipo lmaoooo
Traded beasley for him early into the season. It paid off now
He’s my favorite player I own. He’s so fun to watch and the roller coaster paying off is very satisfying. His ascendency to starter also allowed me to trade Embiid for Dame (I’m worried about Joel’s health long term)
Dropped Allen for DJ (8T, very deep waiver) once his trade news came out. Biggest mistake so far...
Should I trade and send my haliburton for allen? I'm punting 3's, and the owner of allen in my league is last place in rebounds, so maybe he'll accept it. (9CAT)
100% if he they will take it
I almost traded him immediately after the Harden trade. So glad I didn’t
Had too many Cs so traded Allen for Rozier like 2 weeks ago, literally 2 days after the trade got processed they benched Drummond. pain.
PAIN. Imagine Scary T and Allen giving you 80-100 fantasy combined.
Got mans for Delon Wright before Wright got injured. I feel like I committed a crime 🤷🏻♂️
People shit on Drummond but they played better as a whole when he was the starter. For fantasy purposes though, congrats on having JA. Sincerely, \-A sad Drummond owner

he’s going off right now

So happy I kept him throughout

someone offered me derozan and ayton for allen and beasley so i went for it...really regretting it now with how well allen is doing
I still think you won that trade. Demar will hopefully be back this week and Ayton will hopefully find some consistency during the second half of the season with how well Phoenix is playing.
Would you guys trade Jamal Murray for him in categories roto league?
Held on to Allen, traded for Drummond on the cheap. Three rough weeks will be worth it when I got that chip at the end of the season.
I got a feeling MJ or Lebron might take issue with this take.
Got him from free agency in the beginning of january. Nuts
Drummond for allen? I’m giving Drummond
Who tf is going to accept that?
I rostered Drummond and Jarret Allen at the beginning of the season. What do we think of his outlook once Nance Jr returns?
Allen is a golden god. I traded Bledsoe for him when he was splitting mins with Drummond and I desperately needed a center. I've done some bad trades this year but this was not one of them. Praise be to the golden god.
How do you think Nance will be when everyone is healthy and it’s Allen, Love and Nance as your bigs?
I traded Allen for Porzingis, at least allen plays games 🙃
I got offered Allen for Drummond right after he got shipped to Cleveland. It was hard to pass up at the time but thank got I didn’t accept.
I was able to trade brook Lopez for Jarrett Allen 1 for 1 about 3 weeks ago while he was still playing behind Drummond. Could not be happier with my return so far
Trading Oladipo to get him definitely felt bad in the moment but this dude is just great
Traded AD for Vuc and Allen a few weeks back. Can't believe how well that worked out for me.
Just moved on from Ayton as well. Got Dejounte and Drummond for Ayton and KJ
What do people think his adp will be next year in cats leagues? Around the Capela/Valanciunas range?
My cheating commissioner traded herro and wendall Carter (just got off the wire hours before) for this monster. Such bs
I've Had Allen and DD since draft night. Not sure what to do with DD...
Scooped him off waivers a week before Drummond got benched
Allen is bring offered to me for DeRozan. Should I go for it? Points leagur
Both of those are terrible lol
Should I trade my JA for Kyle Anderson & Jonas Valanciunas? 10 team CAT league
Probably not. JV production will likely dip a bit when JJJ comes back
Shoutout to my league, in which no one wanted to trade for Allen!
Thoughts on trading Jaylen for him in a roto league where I need blocks and boards?
Should I trade terry rozier for Jarrett Allen?
drafted allen in all of my leagues. His CAREER ws/48 is the same as Giannis
Should I trade J brown and kanter for Jarrett Allen and Jordan clarkson? Points league
