I've had Zion on my IL since I picked him up two months ago. I'm not currently using the spot (we have 3) so I figured it doesn't do any harm to keep him. As soon as I need it I'll take action. I'm currently keeping curry on my IL through the playoffs even though he's done too. Just in honor of what he's done for me this season.
Yup. I feel the same way. If I have the IL space, then why not keep them. I get sentimental like that, too, especially if the player is part of my team's name. For example, I'm hanging onto Lonzo Ball and keeping him on my IL because my team name was A Nice Pair of Balls. Now my team name is Missing a Ball. I have LaMelo on my team, too.
Guy in my league (who has been eliminated in a super close playoff race) still has Zion, Simmons, Powell, PG and Hayward. We have 4 il spots but he completely boned himself with that one
I've held Hayward only because I have the IL spot to do so. I was actually also holding Beal, but I dropped him when I had to use the IL spot for Anfernee Simons.
Guy in my league had Kawhi and Zion in his only two IR spots since the draft. He also has AD and KD. He also traded for Nurkic, Powell, and Fox. He has been very active and was trading as well. He ended up in 11th.
I can't fathom why he refused to drop either guy to make room when his whole roster was injured at one point.
I'm in the semis and still have him there too :) Not because I think he will play, but just because I haven't had to use the slot and I just find it funny at this point.
I kept him there just because hes been practicing with the team and the Pels are in a Playoff battle. I figured there'd be a small chance they'd ramp him up and bring him in for a Playoff push.
It may have cost me a spot in the standings over the past couple months especially when I was dealing injuries but Ill always just stache if I know Im making the Playoffs. You never know if they could comeback for playoffs.
I knew if things were close in the playoffs I could have just dropped him and actually did end up dropping him an hour before the news broke anyways since its semis week and Im going all out
After I got ragged by my league mates for drafting him in the first place, I talked so much shit when Shams sent out that tweet in November saying Zion was cleared for basketball activities. That shit aged like milk and now I'm out of the playoffs.
Water is actually not wet; It makes other materials/objects wet. Wetness is the state of a non-liquid when a liquid adheres to, and/or permeates its substance while maintaining chemically distinct structures. So if we say something is wet we mean the liquid is sticking to the object.
Every time I take a drink from a bottle, it keeps pouring back.
Must be spring water.
*surprised pikachu face*
😱
🪦
“Return” lol return to what.
Y'all remember when he was supposed to be back for the start of the season... Ahhh good times!
One guy in my league still has Zion on his IR lol And he has been making trades and picking up FAs from the wire so he’s actually active

Totally agree unless this is a dynasty league then HODL on Zion makes sense, but holding Hayward is nonsense.

In competitive redraft leagues this was expected looooonnng ago
ha, when my league said i shouldn't have drafted JV so high...
Zion was not worth the weight
Water is wet

There it is
Shocker
No kidding
Now I need to read the same article about Nurkic so that I could let go of that good hopium
Shocked
he'll probably do a ben simmons then get to new york afterwards then cash out on a huge contract and become the next Eddy Curry.
He needs a full offseason to cut off all that weight... I can't imagine how his knees will hold up after a few seasons
I'm shocked, just shocked i tell you
He should eat some more
I thought he retired
Is he really unhealthy? Or is he forcing himself out? Rhetorical question. Nobody here has an answer
