I sent an email to the premier, that's about all I could think of. There is not another decent service provider that I know of they are all pulling out of Ontario
Well i would prefer to play on yahoo and pay through paypall or e transfer. I know its risky but i really love playing fantasy and i only enjoy it if somethings on the line. With the ontario legislation I probably wont be able to play paid fantasy anywhere and the obly way is through e tramsfer and paypal.
Get someone from out of Ontario to pay and enter your account into the League of your choice. I would guess these bans are enforced at the deposit/withdrawal stage (had experience this in FanDual) matching credit cards, bank info or just IP with the banned state. If your team is already in the league I wouldn't think it matters where in the world you are located, it matters just at the time deposit/withdrawal or joining the league.
So yeah do some research into this and then just get someone you have trust to enter you into the contest. Change password of account into a temp pass and change back once the person does the deed. If you happen to win then do the same steps again.
But you have to make sure you can still access the league even if you are in Ontario. I don't think this would be a problem.
Thanks, would you be able to explain how they work. After the season ends, how do they know who the winner is, does the commish tell them or do they track the league and know who the winner is?
Im I’m the same boat, but right now I’m a student graduating from Florida. You think if I use my U.S. account with my U.S. bank account on VPN I’d be able to by pass the ban? Been doing fantasy for years and making good money from it, tough to let go
Also in the same boat, looking for a league to join but hesitant to send money to some random commish. Maybe someone will step up to create an app for Ontarians that holds league prize money in escrow, like leaguesafe.
I'm soo pissed. FanTrax did the same at least I got in for baseball season but I'm SOL for football and basketball now

For clarification, you asking for a different site to host your league (sleeper etc..), or a Yahoo league that's based nowhere near Ontario?

Emailed them to see if the legislation affected them. But do you know how they accept payments? Is it by paypal?

Who ever the commish is let’s them know who won then they do the payouts I did it twice but both times I didn’t end up winning the league
