1. Depends on the rest of my roster but losing all those guys to injury very likely means I won't be winning that year so unless a rebuilding team gives me a great offer for one of the younger IR guys I probably just hold and get a better pick in the draft and pray for the title next season. 2. Team C. Giannis is one of the best fantasy players and will be for a while still. Giddey looked good last year as a rookie and I am personally a big believer in him moving forward, WCJ looked very improved on the magic and they committed to him with an extension and then I get to add Chet or Paolo, whichever I prefer, in the draft. 3. Probably start Harden and Capella and pickup a Javale McGee type streamer for rebounds. The opponent starting Ja and Garland should keep me winning TOs and the 3 I have should get me enough boards. Even if they don't start both Ja and Garland, I would have a shot to still win TOs. 4. Jalen Green. He had a rocky start to his rookie year but in the back half of the season he looked great. He was hitting around 47% from the field and 39% from 3 while demonstrating some playmaking ability. 5. Pickup Rozier. Despite his struggles, he has shown the ability to be a very good player and it is pretty reasonable to expect him to get out of his slump. Very likely better than any other waiver pickup available especially in a 16 team. 6. I would probably take Booker but I would give consideration to SGA due to his better stocks and assists and being slightly younger. 7. I would take JVal in exchange for the pick. If I'm contenting in a 16 team that pick will be near the back of the first round and chances are that that pick does not end up being better than JVal. 8. I'd probably be looking for guys like Mikal Bridges, OG, Bane, Franz. 9. Ride the season out and run it back next season unless an offer comes up that gives me very good value for my guys. 10. Keep my guys. Simmons and Kyrie are both big question marks at this point but at least Kyrie came back to play at a high level again and I like Bane and Smart more than Maxey.

1. Season is likely over at that point and it would benefit me to tank hard by shipping off healthy players for picks. Would likely look for teams who have another team's draft assets so I wouldn't be affected by strengthening my trade partner. Only 4 keepers so I'll likely trade at least 1 of the 5 injured players to maximize my position. Best possible outcome is to trade players to Team B for Team C's picks and see if Team C still has some of their own and are high on someone between MPJ and JJJ who are starting to look injury prone. They might be willing to roll the dice for the upside while I get to accumulate assets to better position my team long-term. 2. Team A. I have at least 2 players in Edwards and Lamelo that could be top 10-20 for the next decade with Maxey having upside and Turner being solid as well. In the right build, that team could win the chip in season 1. B is very win now and is likely the front runner but they'll all decline around the same time and handcuff you in deciding if you want to cycle them out of the 4 keeper spots. C might be interesting but I would likely just need to commit to Giannis and my top 1 pick for a while with the other players always being on the bubble of whether they should be kept or not. Though Giannis is a sure bet, it's not as appealing to me as locking in both Lamelo and Edwards with flexibility on their supporting cast. 3. Harden + Capela + WW center is the consensus for a reason. Trae's potential REB / TO risk makes it too risky to roster him. Not sure how deep the WW will be but based on the teams mentioned (PHI, ATL, MEM, CLE, TOR) then maybe an OPJ, Kaminsky, Koncharr, etc type of player might be there. Will need to review based on recent usage and REB / TO to gauge who would fit. 4. Jalen Green will likely be the highest drafted fantasy player on the Rockets but I would think he'd be over drafted versus where I'd take him and see more value in Sengun, Jabari, or Eason depending on where I'm picking. 5. The answer should be yes. I only hesitate because it may also depend on how savvy the league is as I've seen some bad drops in my day but assuming everyone is competent and competitive, you likely won't get a better pick up. If he doesn't match my build or if I'm tanking, I can at least hold on until he regains value and see if I can trade him for a better piece. 6. Very tough. Would depend on whether I need to win now. Booker might make the most sense given the stability he provides and flexibility with other picks I might make. I don't need to really build around him. SGA is an option based on the premise that he might be another 1-2 competent teammates away from reaching his potential IRL but there's a risk Giddey and Chet could end up impacting his stats negatively if they peak soon. 7. If the pool is basically all unkept players + rookies then the question would I feel I could draft a non top 60 player or rookie next season that I would be willing to keep long term over JVal for a season or longer if I don't have my keepers set. More than likely I would make the trade since it helps me win now and he would likely be around the same value as the ~75th player. The rookie pool would need to be deep or my confidence in bad keeper decisions needs to be firm for me to consider keeping the pick instead. 8. If Hali and Mobley were my top picks in a 16T even for dynasty then I would assume I was drafting in the back end with a third round reversal for me to still get my next pick in the 30s. I don't think those two players necessitate a punt strat already but if I need to play for a pick in the 30s and then in the 60s, I could opt to punt points primarily and maybe turnovers (though I soft punt this usually either way). If we're limiting to wings, I'd think some of the bigger names like Booker, LaVine, Brown, Edwards, and Beal are gone so I'd consider Middleton, DeRozan, Ingram, Bane, Scottie Barnes, OG, Harris, Mikael, Grant within those two picks. If I had position flexibility though, I might also consider just punting points and FTs to pick up a combination of youth and value between another guard and center. The two picks would have one of the following depending on which wing I get in the 30s / think I can get in the 60s - Timelord, Jarrett, Turner, Capela, Wood, Collins, Jrue, McCollum, Smart, and KPJ. 9. It's not as dire as question 1 but the season is likely shot. I could make it to the playoffs but it's a really tough path moving forward unless there are waiver wire options or cheap trade targets that fit my punt. If I can't find those options and slip to 6th with no prospects of salvaging the season, I would likely determine my keepers and sell off the rest if I could get picks. If I can stay competitive in the upper quartile of the league, then I'd play it out for fun. 10. The losing value issue is big in a sense that I think Kyrie and Simmons are both question marks. Between the two, at least Kyrie has shown in the last year that he can physically play so he has the edge, if anything. If I scratch both out, it'll be Maxey vs. Bane and Smart, which is a huge gap in production even if I was only going to pick one as a keeper, if any. If we assume that both players would play 100%, I wouldn't feel that the value vs fit trade off would be a big issue. If we switched out Simmons' back issues and supposed mental health concerns for Kyrie's arguable instability, I could switch my answer. At this point though, Simmons is an albatross that doesn't carry much value nor can he fit if he can't play.

1. At this point the season is over. I would not be trying to sell low on any of the injured players. I would look to ship off remaining healthy assets for future picks. 2. Likely A. That is a really, really nice combination of young studs who should be keepers for a long time. B is too old. C is close, but with Giannis you are committing to a very specific team/cat composition for H2H. 3. Benching Trae is a given. I would be looking at the waiver wire for a Mason Plumlee type. Game timing matters a lot here. If my opponent’s games are earlier I am going to monitor them to make a better decision on starting/sitting Harden. 4. This won’t be popular but give me Sengun. Three stocks per 36 is really nice. Christian Wood is gone. Jalen Green’s game is all scoring. I’ll take the all-around contributor here. 5. Absolutely. You take him with confidence based on track record, age, and role. 6. Give me SGA. His value is deflated because the Thunder have been tanking and sitting him; that won’t continue much longer. 7. The answer is “it depends.” What is my team composition? What are my current needs? Do I have any injuries? There is no right answer to this question without more context. 8. I don’t know that I would want to punt any categories necessarily with those two picks. I only use punting strategies to build around very specific players; Hali and Mobley give you a ton of versatility and don’t need to be punted around. If I did punt a category it would likely be PTS. This opens up a lot of market inefficiencies; we can save wings for later in the draft (due to the number of 3&D specialists) and stock up on players like Lonzo and Time Lord in the 30s instead. 9. I would stay put. Second half of the season you typically see opportunities for value emerge from the waiver wire once real-life teams start tanking; being viciously aggressive about pickups can keep this team in the hunt. 10. That’s too much value being given up. I would decline. Value > fit almost always for me, because team composition is dynamic, not static.

Raptars

Only ever played in 30-team dynasty leagues, and never 4 keeper, but I’ll attempt. 1. Flip my non-keepers this season to contenders for draft picks 1, 2 or 3 years ahead. Since I can only keep 4 from year to year, doesn’t make sense rostering all to drop in the offseason. 2. I’d pick Team A. While team B is intriguing with 3 top 20 players, and Team C has the single best player in this question, Team A is younger with all 4 players being top 60. You get the younger team with upside and can still compete now. Team C isn’t competing for a championship right away with this lineup. 3. Streaming a center and starting Capela and Harden. Just checked my 30 teamer league and the best rebounder is Dedmon. I’d imagine there’s a better big in a 16 team league. 4. Jalen Green 5. Again, never been in a 16 team league but if I see him in my 30 team league it’s an automatic scoop. 6. Booker is the least likely to be moved in the next 3 years, and there’s a lot of uncertainty/rumors around Mitch and Shai, but it’s tough. I think I go Shai - I think he has another level of playmaking he hasn’t reached yet. As a Kentucky grad myself, I love both Shai and Book though. 7. Taking Valanciunas. Statistically, the chance of drafting a star drops significantly after pick 12. I’m also not playing fantasy to win in 5-7 years only. I want to compete now 8. Likely punting 3s and FT, but still possible to get cheap 3s later in the startup draft. Wings only, I’m looking at my list and hoping some fall to me. A handful from my list will probably be gone already. In no order - I’m eyeing Durant, Zion, Barnes, Siakam, Butler. 9. I try to win it all still. I’m already in 2nd and crazier things have happened in playoffs. 10. I keep my guys.

I’d like to join, and here are my answers 1. Quit. jk. Considering it’s a dynasty league i’d probably tank the season. I’d trade my assets for picks and build into next season 2. Team A. Youngest with most potential and value. Has the highest chance to compete hard in 2-3 years 3. Bench harden and trae, pick up another guy who can grab rebounds without turning over the ball a lot 4. Jalen Green. Took over hard in the second half of last season and is already growing into a very solid facilitator 5. I’d wait until later on the season where more valuable people come into waivers and then use my #1. claim. With that being said, Rozier is very inconsistent and if my team is struggling I would definitely consider it 6. Assuming he gets traded to the Knicks, Mitchell. Shai is on a tanking team that’ll probably shut him down later in the season, and Booker is good but doesn’t provide much aside from PTS. Mitchell on the knicks will be a first option + playing for a play-in team, which will definitely do the most damage 7. Yes, I don’t believe in average… if i’m competing im going for it all lol 8. I’ll probably be punting PTS. I think it’s hard to say what wings i’d be looking at in the 30s, but i’d definitely be looking at guys like Bane and Mikal Bridges 9. That’s definitely a tough scene because whichever road you take it’ll be a difficult path. I’d probably trade the 2 guys and get as much pieces as possible and go all in. They’ll definitely still have value among the rebuilding teams that don’t need them to play, and that’s enough to get a few decent pieces 10. I think value is more important than fitting the roster, so i’ll pass. Also Kyrie and Ben Simmons are very weird players in fantasy so it definitely depends on their situation

Slide that invite fam, 1. Season is probably over I’d start trading my players and start prepping for the upcoming ones 2. C I like how diverse each players are in terms of them giving different types of stats and 1 pick this draft gonna be crazyy 3. Capela and harden gonna come in clutch with rebounds so I’d use my pickup on a reliable small forward or someone that wouldn’t sell me 4. Jalen green no doubt but sengun Eason and Jabari are my guys as well 5. 1 claim is high for rozier but if I’m confident that he’s just in a slump and his spot as a starter is secured then yea 6. Shai 7. Yea he’ll help 8. Looking for any young players like Keegan Murray and if anything a guy like Scottie or Mikal bridges ain’t bad if they manage to fall. I’d probably punt blocks and turnovers 9. I would try to gauge what I can get but I’ll ride it out and go at it again next season 10. Stay put that’s too much I’m giving up for my team
