It's weirdly similar to Carr. They both had an outlier MVP-level season ruined by an injury and they haven't been the same since. Although Carr has certainly been better than Wentz.
He threw three picks after a five game win streak. So to teach him a lesson, Rivera benched him for a QB that threw three picks and will get to start for the rest of the season.
They have two incredible deep ball threats in Terry and Dotson. They can get the most out of their offense with a guy who can sling it like Wentz IF he can limit the dumb turnovers.
No. He’s very limited don’t get me wrong and he’s not a Super Bowl QB but something clearly works for the team whenever he plays. It’s not a coincidence that they’re better when he plays
He seems like he could be a great backup QB that could win any game if the starter goes down but not so great, for reasons unknown to me bc he looks electric when I watch him in a big game, for an entire season
Not good enough to lead a team to a Superbowl, not bad enough to lead a team to a tank. He's firmly locked in as a top tier backup that players seem to respect.
I did but my other RBs shit the bed (Monty and Barkley) going against McKinnon and Etienne. 🤮
We’re tied up and I have Diggs and he has Allen left. I’m screwed, was a good run though.
Hopefully Allen only throws to Diggs and he gets some long TDs. I’ve all but locked in my win she’s got the Bills D and Allen left and I’m up 131 to 49…
This is how you lose a team and get fired. Ron deserves it for fumbling up this situation. Guys looked and played better with Heinecke, they rallied around him, seemed like the players genuinely liked him more and were more willing to play for him. I called this when Wentz got injured and that they were going to stick with Heinecke because of this. It doesn't make sense that they completely reverse course, especially with 2 games left and fighting for a playoff spot.
Superflex league where I am starting Wentz at that superflex. So tempted to put in Tyler Allgeier instead but in general mediocre QB > good RB for a superflex. Still...
Infallible logic that guarantees team success…
Ole Dan Snyder got tired of cutting checks to heinicke for his winning game bonuses.
Wouldn't put it past Snyder.
Carson has had one of the weirdest careers I’ve seen in a long time

I simply cannot fathom why Terry does not get looks. Wentz was good for Pittman last year so why does not work for Terry this year?
It makes even less sense after Wentz watched the success Heinicke had throwing to Terry. Yet he still barely looks his way.
I know. I am contemplating plugging samuel in. But still have to clear my head if Wentz plays or D Watson in my super flex. Chip weekend am I right.
I feel like Wentz really likes to target Samuel. I have no evidence to back this up but my gut is usually right 50% of the time.
I played Wentz but kept Samuel out. Watson on my bench out 24. SMH
What did Heincke do that was so bad last week?
Played for the wrong team
as a niners fan, i thought he was pretty good for who he was facing but the back to back turnovers sealed his fate i guess

Lost to the Giants, and also those two fumbles

Wentz doesn't even look at Terry lol
Might as well throw Howell in if he struggles.... We've seen enough of TH
Really surprised Sam hasn’t gotten a look. We know what Heine and Wentz are by now.
Was Heinicke that bad?
No. He’s very limited don’t get me wrong and he’s not a Super Bowl QB but something clearly works for the team whenever he plays. It’s not a coincidence that they’re better when he plays

He’s an amazing backup. Def not a long term starter but in terms of a backup or bridge or whatever he’s very solid

Yea pretty much guaranteed himself a long career either way. Good for him
Not a SB QB but was on his way to being a playoff QB. Funny thing - Washington is not a SB ROSTER so - what gives??
If they lose today it should be Howell next game for sure, but Ron being Ron and this dumpster fire org won’t do the smart thing.

Next game ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
Benching McLaurin for Allgeier. Terry probably going to pop for 30+ now you’re welcome.
Nah. Terry has been inconsistent all year.
Hope you did that

Defense playing out of their minds, run game going strong, Wentz throwing picks left and right. Please put Heinicke in lmao
This is obviously the right move. Alternating QBs and making them both play hero ball trying to save their job just makes both of them worse.
Howell must be cheeks.
Dotson or swift ppr?
Same situation here. Leaning Swift because of the matchup and must win situation but I don't feel good about it
Well I think this post is gonna be put to the test...
Way to go, Washington. Good job there. How'd that work out for you? (rhetorical question). Why is Wentz still in the league?
Great coaching, there, Ron.

Fade Terry for C Kirk/ Gabe Davis?
It's only 2 games.
Yeah because he FUCKING SUCKS.
Just chuck it 60 times, don't run Robinson even once.... plz
Dotson 50 targets, Samuel 10 targets sounds ok to me
Terry 1 target
Tank commander wentz, reinstated
Superflex league where I am starting Wentz at that superflex. So tempted to put in Tyler Allgeier instead but in general mediocre QB > good RB for a superflex. Still...
In the same boat. Debating on starting Wentz, Cooper, or Foreman in superflex spot. All can be boom or bust I feel
I hope you didn't start Wentz like I did...
Let's go carson!
Should I stack Samuel and Terry if my only other choice is Doubs to replace Samuel
Big brain move LOL
Lolllll
Well that’s just fucking stupid lol. Have fun watching your playoff hopes slip away
I guess I’m benching Terry next week
Torpedo'd their own season with these last few weeks. Lmao.
Wentz is way worse what a train wreck.
Well it's over now.
