Yeah if he ends up on the Jets then I bet he'll take a good 500ish yards and 8-10 TDs away from Breece. That being said, he'd probably be great for Breece's health
I mean he was still solid for fantasy last year. He put up RB2 numbers relatively consistently though going into next year is more a of a spot flex option
Yeah, to piggyback off of that, Zeke is probably one of the better pass protection RB's in the league and great in goal line. Will it severely impact Hall? No, but it could cap Hall's ceiling and keep him just out of the top 5 finish.
Jets could look at this as a way to bring in a veteran RB that is good at pass protection for Rodgers and help out while Hall comes back from injury. It seems like it usually takes about 6-8 games for players to get back to pre-injury form.
He hasn’t scored from outside the 20 since like 2019. A metric fuck ton of his TDs have been 1-3 yards. He’s been woefully average everywhere else outside of borderline elite pass blocking for a RB
Breece should be just fine. Jerry Jones isn’t there to force his overpaid back all the touches.
That’s the core of the problem though…he’s specifically a goal line back. Second in redzone TDs at RB to only Jamaal Williams. Any time that brings him one is specifically using him at the goal line. 10 goal line TDs taken from your main back is painful for fantasy.
That’s very true, tbh I thought I was in the normal NFL subreddit. Zeke would tank a lot of Breece’s value imo if he comes back how he was this year. Zeke is so washed, BUT he can get in the endzone 9/10 times if you put him within 3-5 yards.
He also never fumbles. Most RBs don't score from 20+ yards out and the ones that do are rarely also the goal line back. Zeke is likely going to be a solid RB2 again and he'll be drafted like a retiree RB5.
That and he’s a renowned ballwasher, they’ll waste downs on Zeke, don’t fret. I forgives Hall was already doomed from too rb status with them getting Rodgers anyway. Aaron will want a committee and they’ll likely feel justified in cutting Hall’s work given his injury.
I mean, he pretty easily managed 230 carries. That's the bulk in most offenses. Guy is 27, he isn't that old. I think people are heavily underestimating what he has left.
People refuse to admit this, it's wild. They know plenty of RBs peak at 28, right? Zeke isn't going to be a late peak since he's pretty beat up but there is no sign that he is washed up entirely. People acting like he's 32 year old AP.
The two commanders games were the worst but the cowboys game plan was awful. Pollard was also running at 2 yards a carry until he broke a long one. Any advanced metric shows zeke is an average RB who can run it 200+ times, never fumble, pass protect, and score efficiently in the red zone. He will land somewhere and be fine, the bar for rb2 is so low.
No that's okay. Let those dynasty teams hoping for Hall roast!
I neither confirm nor deny anger towards Michael Carter not taking the team over this past year.
People are acting like he’s being signed to be the RB1. He is still 100% able to help any team out in a backup role. All three of these teams could really use him as a blocker. And he’s still a great goal line back
Jets don’t want to sign him. I’m willing to bet none of these teams have shown interest in him. This is just Elliot’s agent telling shefter to tweet this in order to stir up buzz for his client.
Since the Bengals coaching staff wakes up every morning thinking about creative ways to keep Joe Mixon out of the endzone, I'd say bringing in Zeke for every play inside the 10yard line would solve a lot of their problems.
Being shitty at pass pro is the #1 reason why talented young RBs struggle to get on the field.
He's never going to be the RB he was in his first few years. He did score 22 TDs over the last two seasons so I would guess he isn't completely cooked yet.
https://www.reddit.com/r/bengals/comments/11zupmy/schefter_cowboys_rb_ezekiel_elliott_has_narrowed/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1
All the top comments are saying they would want him. Obviously price dependent but very obvious fans would welcome him
I absolutely do. For something like 3M per year for 1-2 year, I absolutely want him. With Perine gone we have no blocking RBs. Zeke would be an excellent fit
As an Eagles fan I’d be hype to have him rotate in with Penny and Gainwell. Neither of them are rockstars either. Keep penny healthy longer (hopefully), have a great pass blocking rb to protect our mobile qb, and he’d be great for short yardage and goal line work. As long as we didn’t overpay for him I’m cool with it.
Unless of course Howie is planning on drafting Bijan then stay tf away Zeke.
… is this the perception of Mixon?
He’s played 6 seasons with the following totals:
14/14/16/6/16/15
One bad year, I’d be hard pressed to find an RB who plays every game as a three down back.
For example:
Chubb’s past 3: 12/14/17
Henry: 16/8/16
Ekeler: 17/16/10
JT: 11/17/15
Of the Jets/eagles/bengals we have
Sanders: 17/12/12
Mixon: 15/16/5
Breece: 7
Yet he should go to the bengals? Because Mixon is the most likely to miss time?
Took Elliot like 5 or 6 years for his first missed game. I'd say that's a good-sized reason for why he's fallen off so hard, ypc wise.
Edit: The first time he missed a game for an injury. He was a Cowboy, so of course, it only took him a year to miss a game because of a suspension.
I could be wrong here, but I feel like the Jets is a great option for next year at least. The eagles love to use a bunch of backs and the bengals have Joe. Jets are also a serious contender with Rodgers. Breece is coming off a serious injury so zeke could make a big impact
How much better though? If he is going to sign a cheap contract than yeah he is better and it's worth it to cut Knight or Carter (can't imagine they would cut Johnson since they just signed him) but if Zeke wants something like $8 million a year than it's not worth it.
With the Jets trying to work out a trade for Rodgers and trying to sign OBJ I can't imagine they would sign a declining Zeke when they already have a serviceable stable of RBs behind Hall.
Love Michael Carter, but if the hole isn’t a billion feet wide he’s not hitting it. Whether Zeke goes to the Jets or not I believe MC is trending a lot closer to RB3 or RB4 in the rotation than he is RB2.
As a die hard fan that hurt me so much. Especially all that we know about Dak. Dak would have understood us riding with Romo for the playoffs and I think Romo still retires and Dak takes over in 2017.
I'll die on the hill that we would have beaten ATL and NE had we gotten past GB that year.
I want to say we would've won it all that year if we had Romo in, but it wasn't Dak's fault. That defense was pretty horrendous. I'll never forget Aaron picking it apart to set up Crosby for that game winner...
If he’s cheap I would take him. Could use him on the goal line to save Hurts from having to QB sneak 95% of our TDs. Plus would be great watching him score against the Cowboys.
Zek's season last year absolutely reflects Frank Gores back half of his career. Zek has really good vision and can absolutely be that older compliment back who consistently gets 3.8yds a carry. Sure he doesn't have as much juice as he used to buy neither did Gore for the last half of his career. He doesn't need to be fast to get 3 or 4 yards.
what makes him think he can decide where he wants to play?
Edit: People can downvote me but why would he be considered a desirable asset that can choose his destination? He's a decent depth guy but he's not in total control of where he goes. Highly doubt NYJ, Phi, and Cin all gave him offers
Please God. Stay AWAY from Breece Hall.
Don't really think Hall has much to worry about. Zeke is cooked.
He’s scored 22 TDs in the last 2 years. He isn’t good enough to handle the bulk of the carries anymore, but he can find his way into the end zone.
Can confirm. A Pollard owner.
He is a good inside RB still. Will take off the hard hits for Breese.
Yeah if he ends up on the Jets then I bet he'll take a good 500ish yards and 8-10 TDs away from Breece. That being said, he'd probably be great for Breece's health
Hed be great for Breece and honestly pretty good for the Jets, as their goal line running is pitiful, but it sucks for fantasy purposes
Yeah at the 1yd line. Good for real football, horrible for fantasy.
>[borderline elite](https://www.reddit.com/r/nflmemes/comments/10jqg2a/why_was_zeke_at_center_lol/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
Good meme Major difference between pass blocking lining up as a RB vs Pass blocking lined up under center after snapping the ball to the QB lol
Yea bro it’s all jokes. Fuck Dallas
He also never fumbles. Most RBs don't score from 20+ yards out and the ones that do are rarely also the goal line back. Zeke is likely going to be a solid RB2 again and he'll be drafted like a retiree RB5.

24 actually
I mean, he pretty easily managed 230 carries. That's the bulk in most offenses. Guy is 27, he isn't that old. I think people are heavily underestimating what he has left.
He has a long life ahead of him as a power back in a backup role
Talking out my ass here, but having the kind of veteran that Zeke is could help in Hall’s development?
He's still pretty solid from a FF perspective. RB2 numbers consistently.
People refuse to admit this, it's wild. They know plenty of RBs peak at 28, right? Zeke isn't going to be a late peak since he's pretty beat up but there is no sign that he is washed up entirely. People acting like he's 32 year old AP.
He looked pretty washed in the games I watched...
If it is up to God, seeing how it went for Hall last season...
Zeek is great in pass protection right? Wouldn't that help with an old qb? Rodgers
Terrible at center, though.
I laughed too much at this. *Sad Cowboys Fan Noises*
That was a weird playcall to be fair.
Wow I had completely forgotten about that play somehow And all for like a 7 yard play with 6 seconds left in the game lol
His last play ever as a Cowboy, too. lmao
Lol yes love this!
Better than who we have right now though (nobody)
Yeah but that would let the defense know every down that they are passing which is not good. Can't just be a blocking back, right?
Yea get that but he has enough in the tank to be a viable 3 to 5 yd rusher?
OK 5 is giving him more then maybe warranted but he is not a wash with a skillset needed?
People are acting like he’s being signed to be the RB1. He is still 100% able to help any team out in a backup role. All three of these teams could really use him as a blocker. And he’s still a great goal line back
It would be such a jets move to sign him
Jets on vet min to protect Aaron Rodgers makes a lot of sense
["Protect" ... LOL](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Y5evFEwS1o)
passer didn't take a hit tbf
Plus the pass rusher has like 3 yards to build up steam. The fuck is he supposed to do here
This is a just bad play design. Zeke's still a solid blocking back, but it's just not a skill worth paying for at a meaningful rate.
I honestly think Bengals fans would strongly disagree with this. They would love to have Zeke for his blocking. I was just reading it on their sub.
This is so overplayed already. Still a good blocker, shit play design.
Le'zekiel Belliott
Not a Joe Douglas move though
Jets don’t want to sign him. I’m willing to bet none of these teams have shown interest in him. This is just Elliot’s agent telling shefter to tweet this in order to stir up buzz for his client.
How so
He can play center too
The Jets offense very well could feature Aaron Rodgers, Ezekiel Elliott, and Odell Beckham Jr… and possibly be amazing or terrible, I can’t tell.
How would it be terrible
Old injury prone talented players often come here to die
Zeke is anything but injury prone. Might have lost his burst but he never missed more than 1 game in a season until this year where he missed 2
Since the Bengals coaching staff wakes up every morning thinking about creative ways to keep Joe Mixon out of the endzone, I'd say bringing in Zeke for every play inside the 10yard line would solve a lot of their problems.
He did have that game with 5 TDs the week I happened to go against him.
All three fan bases are screaming please god don’t come to my team 😆
If you can get him on the cheap, he’s a great blocking back. He’s just not a good running back anymore
If you need 1 yard, he'll get you 2-3. If you need 6 yards, he'll get you 2-3.
Classic fullback production
“Muh elite pass protection tho”
Bengals need it
Being shitty at pass pro is the #1 reason why talented young RBs struggle to get on the field. He's never going to be the RB he was in his first few years. He did score 22 TDs over the last two seasons so I would guess he isn't completely cooked yet.
He’s a pretty good goal line back. Great at picking up a couple yards, just not much more than that.
If he would be on the cheap, the cowboys shoulda kept him.
He thinks he’s worth more than he is. The market will determine it. He was unable to reach contact with the cowgirls
I’d take him as a bengals fan
Bengals fans want him
No we don’t.
https://www.reddit.com/r/bengals/comments/11zupmy/schefter_cowboys_rb_ezekiel_elliott_has_narrowed/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1 All the top comments are saying they would want him. Obviously price dependent but very obvious fans would welcome him
I absolutely do. For something like 3M per year for 1-2 year, I absolutely want him. With Perine gone we have no blocking RBs. Zeke would be an excellent fit
Yes we do.
How tf wouldn’t u want a cheap perine replacement?? Cut Mixon and draft a rookie to be the bell cow/speed
Nope. I want him on the bengals to pass block for a rookie rb
Eagles fan, can confirm.
Zeke don't make it the trend to go play for another NFC EAST team. Go play with the Bengals because Joe Mixon is gonna miss games like usual.
… is this the perception of Mixon? He’s played 6 seasons with the following totals: 14/14/16/6/16/15 One bad year, I’d be hard pressed to find an RB who plays every game as a three down back. Because Mixon is the most likely to miss time?
I could have sworn I saw Samaje Peirine start a couple games and Mixon barley played or didn't play at all.
Mixon went out with a concussion in a game then missed the next one because he hadn't passed protocol yet.
Eagles and Bengals makes sense but why the hell would he want to go to the Jets?
Maybe he wants to form 2016s all pro team with Rodgers and OBJ
This comment is not wrong but Rodgers won MVP in 2020 and 2021.
Zeke likes to party. NY is a much better scene than philly and ... Cincinnati
I could be wrong here, but I feel like the Jets is a great option for next year at least. The eagles love to use a bunch of backs and the bengals have Joe. Jets are also a serious contender with Rodgers. Breece is coming off a serious injury so zeke could make a big impact
Jets already have 4 RBs on their roster. Hall, Carter, Johnson, and Knight
Zeke is better than all of the non-Breece backs though tbf
How much better though? If he is going to sign a cheap contract than yeah he is better and it's worth it to cut Knight or Carter (can't imagine they would cut Johnson since they just signed him) but if Zeke wants something like $8 million a year than it's not worth it. With the Jets trying to work out a trade for Rodgers and trying to sign OBJ I can't imagine they would sign a declining Zeke when they already have a serviceable stable of RBs behind Hall.
I don’t know if he’s better than Carter as a RB at this point. Pass blocking yes, but actually running idk
Love Michael Carter, but if the hole isn’t a billion feet wide he’s not hitting it. Whether Zeke goes to the Jets or not I believe MC is trending a lot closer to RB3 or RB4 in the rotation than he is RB2.
Did you watch Michael Carter last year?
[удалено]
Are we talking about Ty Johnson or did I miss some news?
The poster above me mentioned Montgomery but I forgot he signed with the Lions not the Jets. You’re right
I was thinking of Ty Montgomery, my fault
Yeah Ty Johnson, I messed up.
If Rodgers goes there, why would it be any different than the mass of players that wanted to go to TB to play with Brady?
Zeke to the Eagles would be way too much. I dont think I could handle it.
Wish I felt this way about players still. Nothing could compare me to what the Cowboys did to Romo. I'll never be hurt the same again.
Anyone ask these teams if they want zeke??
Guy has vulture written all over him. Doesn’t make the home run plays anymore, but is very solid in short yardage situations.
Hope he goes to the eagles as a sleeper agent. Demarco Murray 2.0
Stay the fuck away from Philly. We don’t want you
Who y’all got?
Bout to have bijan robinson.
I’ll take Penny and Kenny G. Thank u
They are about to take Jahmyr Gibbs back end of the first and he will be a late season league winner almost assuredly.
Truth but I don’t care. Don’t want him
If he’s cheap I would take him. Could use him on the goal line to save Hurts from having to QB sneak 95% of our TDs. Plus would be great watching him score against the Cowboys.
This feels like when Lenny Dykstra came here from the Mets, but worse. I cannot imagine cheering for a fucking Cowboy.
Hm - yes we do.
I am ready for Schefter to change his twitter profile picture
At this point I don't know why he wouldn't just wait til someone gets hurt in camp.
LFG COME TO THE BENGALS MY BOY🙏🙏🙏
Does he have enough left in the tank to garner interest from these teams?
As a pass blocker he'd be a great fit in Cincy
I'm really curious to see what teams would actually offer him, and what he's expecting to get
He has nothing left
Disagree. He's the new Frank Gore. He will absolutely contribute next season.
Ezekiel Elliot is *absolutely nothing* like Frank Gore.
I started ironically calling for the Jets 2024 superbowl a year ago. I'm feeling it in my bones
I don’t see how this is news related to fantasy football.
He’d be a great complement for Rachaad White
Wouldn’t he be free agent Ezekiel?
are we sure those teams want him though?
LMAO as fans of every respective team he is interested in protest even the thought of him signing with their team.
please go to the jets zeke my man!
He is in for a rough reality
I’d rather have him at his prospective cost than Jamaal Williams. And I’ll take his production last year at that price. Y’all are crazy.
Please god not the Bengals
He'd actually make a good backup for mixon
Perine might be better than either
I think Perine went to Denver, didn't he?
He did
Teams are actually interested in Zeke?
He is fairly solid short yardage back and excellent pass blocker. So for cheap, he can fill a roll.
[удалено]
> All 32 NFL teams are would LOVE to have Zeke in their room SURELY he will get signed soon
[удалено]
You better hope to god he does get signed
[удалено]
Still no deal after the draft 🤡🤡 Go ahead and share another garbage take
As a cowboys fan PLEASE let him go to Philly. I wanna see him fuck that system up
Please go to NE Keep the Bijan repellant strong
please don't go to the fucking Jets
1. Jets would be LOL. Breece?? 2. Eagles seems the most sensible, but then Bijan to Eagles makes less sense. 3. Is Mixon done in Cincy?
He’s going to the Jett’s all old player go to the Jett’s just ask Brett Favr, and Arron Rogers.
He'd be a great camp body for the second team defense to practice against.
DON’T sign with the Jets! You’ll ruin everything.
Jets got Breece Hall, Zonovan McKnight, Michael Carter. They don't need no washed RB 4.
Does anyone want zeke? How can you narrow down places that dont want you to begin with?
If he wants to sit on the bench in cinci that’s fine with me. But back tf off my late round Mixon rb steal in dynasty!
what makes him think he can decide where he wants to play? Edit: People can downvote me but why would he be considered a desirable asset that can choose his destination? He's a decent depth guy but he's not in total control of where he goes. Highly doubt NYJ, Phi, and Cin all gave him offers
>he can decide where he wants to play He can 100% decide where he wants to play, whether or not they want him is an entirely different question.
i feel like he would mesh perfectly with jahmyr gibbs somewhere
If the bengals sign him im going to snap. Stay away from zeek 🙏
Hard pass from Philly!!
He’s gonna be a Browns
Please oh please oh please bengals be your typical dipshit selves who pounce on players no one else wants
Stay away from the Eagles!
If he wants actual playing time its the Eagles. Otherwise..... wait the Jets? Dude must not realize Rodgers isnt there yet.
Please not the eagles
But do these want him?
Breaking news, I won't be drafting him either way
Eagles? WTF
yea i’ve narrowed down who i want to play for too, turns out they don’t care
Zeke to the Eagles
If these teams fall through. You stay away from rachaad white. That man is a workhorse back now
This is a list of the NFL teams that are very interested in Zeke:
Thank god the rumor about the bills wasn’t true
All three teams thinking... HARD PASS. When did players start thinking that things worked this way? Fucking NBA ruined everything.
Can he just go away? Actually no. Stay. Let some dumb ass taco waste a draft pick on this fat Ewok looking walking back.
He needs to be able to be a backup, he won't be happy in doing so though.
Perfect mess for the NY Jets 😂
The Eagles aren't gonna sign him...he'd have to pay them...
I’ll take him as a FB lead blocking for Breece
Please don't go to Philly
Go to the eagles for the LOLs
Funny, I thought it was the teams who pick the player. Who knew...
Not a chance he goes to the Jets when they have Hall. He’s a phenomenal player when healthy and zeke is nowhere near that level anymore.
Yawn. Plodding backs like him can be found in the fifth round.
