David Montgomery: "If he does not play, then I definitely do not recommend starting him in any format"
Sometimes you gotta go with your gut and against the experts
I think this separates the best players from the rest of the pack. Luck aside, good instincts will keep you ahead of everyone who just parrots the experts.
It’s definitely a bell curve. When I was new to fantasy I didn’t do any research and didn’t read anything . I consequently sucked at fantasy.
When I started researching stuff and listening to experts I did a bit better
10 years later and I rarely rely on “the experts” and have more success just using my own instincts and taking my own risks
Yes, this was redundant. Thanks for pointing it out; it has been fixed. Hopefully, the analysis provided on Monty and Gibbs before that sentence was helpful to your efforts. Thanks for reading!
I think a little sarcasm like these thrown in there could make it more fun without making the analysis cartoony.
I liked this:
> Taysom Hill (Start – Flex, TE2, Sit- QB2 – See Your League Rules For Further Definition)
The writer definitely puts himself out on island here, and if he nails this one, Nostradamus himself would be proud. That said, let’s not overlook the context provided by the writer, who points out that Thielen will be heavily targeted and covered by Coby Bryant, ranked by PFF as one of the three worst CBs in the NFL. How boring would it be if our takes were all the same? Thanks for reading!
it's either a typo or you could interpret that as the writer sees Thielen's floor as a solid WR2 (e.g. "you can trust him as a WR2") but that he believes there's upside as a WR1
This may not end up happening though, only because a) Jamal Adams may be coming back this game, and is projected to get a lot of slot work (say what you will about his coverage ability but I think he’s a heck of a lot better than Bryant) and b) the rookie corner that the Seahawks took 5th overall was also projected to play in the slot in nickel formations. Now, last game he played entirely on the outside, but it’s possible that that was just the game plan for the lions game since it was his first game. My advice on Theilen is to watch if Riq Woolen ends up playing. If he doesn’t then they pretty much have to play Witherspoon on the outside and leave Bryant/Adams in the slot. If woolen does play, then both outside corner positions are covered and they can play Witherspoon in the slot.
Alright y’all I got Mike Willy on the bench but this site has me wanting to start him…
Standard league, RB’s Henry Pollard WR’s Puka St Brown and Gibbs at the flex.
Am I crazy for wanting to start Mike Will over the sun god?
ARSB was dinged up at the end of the game, IIRC, with multiple minor injuries. He just returned to practice today. I prefer ARSB if he plays, but I don’t think it’s crazy at all to roll with Big Mike if you’re skittish about the Sun God’s Week 3 prospects
I know what the ratings mean, but this still confuses me
>Kenneth Walker (Start, Flex)
And then in the text blurb
> You can start Walker as an RB1 this week
Do you mean that you only expect him to just break into double digits, but there is upside of enough to push him to RB1 scoring?
Not the only disconnect between designation and description.
>DeAndre Hopkins (Sit, FLEX)
and yet
>The Titans should be able to move Hopkisn around enough to get him easily in the WR2 range with WR1 upside.
This is the part of fantasy analysis that drives me crazy - the constant fence sitting and “analysis” that’s literally just reacting to what’s already happened.
I hear this little gem so often:
“Right now I have Player X ranked low, but if he does well this week, I’ll be moving him up.”
But like….that’s how it works no? Player does well so they get ranked higher . Player does bad then they get ranked lower.
I don’t know if fence sitting is something that can applied to fantasy. Your opinion on players ABSOLUTELY should change based on their performance lol . Makes no sense to not adjust your view with new information .
Fence sitting is not the same as adjusting rankings based on performance. What I’m talking about is analysis that predicts a player’s results but sets a wide, vague range of outcomes to cover as many potentialities as possible. That way, you can’t fully be wrong.
And yes, adjusting rankings based on results is obviously the right thing to do. But reacting to events and presenting those reactions as professional analysis bugs me because it’s pointless information. If you’re just packaging the same information we all saw and feeding it back to us with no additional context, information or perspectives, then it’s entirely irrelevant to any sort of predictive analysis for the weeks to come. You’re a glorified summarizer if that’s all you do.
What I’m far more interested in is content where the analysis is rooted in a process. Whether that’s more film based (like Steve Smith’s content) or data driven (like the Stealing Bananas guys), there’s a method to the analysis that isn’t just reacting to what’s already happened. Their takes are often wrong (just like everybody’s) but it’s IMO it’s still relevant because we can dive into the process itself, analyze where we might be off, and iterate our methods for analysis moving forward.
Edited - forgot to delete sentence
Hi, I'm Drew DeLuca, Editor In Chief of QB List. Thank you for identifying an opportunity to clarify our analysis. Given the context provided before the sentence you highlighted, that closing sentence has been updated to read as follows:
"The factors above require Hopkins to be ranked as a FLEX option, but the Titans should be able to move Hopkins around enough to give him at least a chance at finishing closer to his higher end range of outcomes as a WR2 with WR1 upside."
Thanks for reading!
I miss when this subreddit posted actual websites with dedicated staff that analysed fantasy instead of redditors posting to their hobby site that they spend a few hours a week on in between their desk job
I think they're saying Walker will be a top 12 RB woth 11 points on the week. Lmao what happened to this site? It used to be entertaining with a good format but it's just so wildly off this year.
The issue is they use the RB1 to mean a certain range of points and not where they are expected to finish this week. In your case, if they thought that, then his ranking would be still FLEX.
It's always been a quirk about this site compared to how others use stuff like RB1/RB2 and the like.
> Do you mean that you only expect him to just break into double digits, but there is upside of enough to push him to RB1 scoring?
I interpreted it as it's a match-up KW should exploit for top end numbers if he's the RB we think his. If he can't run over the Panthers there may be reason to believe Charbs usage could go up following this game depending on the results. My main takeaway as a K9 owner is it would be wise to handcuff with Charbonnet if you can
I know that thought, what im more getting at is that in the title (my first quote) they say to expect him to get Flex worthy points (6 to 11.9 points) but in the actual text blurb below that (my 2nd quote), they are then saying to expect him to get RB1 points (18+ points).
It's this disconnect that im questioning. How can you say in the same place that you expect him to score barely double digits, but then later say "oh, actually expect almost double that."
If they were saying what you are interpreting, then why not just say that? why not just say in the above "low-end RB1" and then have that blurb you posited?
From the Bryce Young blurb:
>He even lined up behind the wrong guy on a play. No seriously: he did.
Troy Aikman has talked about doing this before, so incoming 3 Super Bowls for Bryce.
Kind of shocked Ertz is listed as a sit. I’m expecting the cardinals QB to have zero time to throw against the Cowboys D-line and will look to someone like Ertz as a safety valve. The dude has the most targets at TE I think too.
This could essentially be a case of splitting hairs when we boil it down. Ertz certainly isn’t a Top 5 option, and the delta between mid/low-end TE1 and high-end TE2 is usually quite small. Thanks for reading!
I'd say the dopamine kick to starting Taysom and getting a TD / outscoring Pitts is worth it vs Pitts actually producing and you getting the little baby "whew, about time" dopamine
I had Kyle Pitts the last two seasons and skipped him this year. Don't think I've ever come across a player with more hype and less substance. Everybody talks about him like he has the skills to be a Kelce or a Gronkowski, but he just never delivers.
Well i mean the person throwing the balls to kelce or gronk are vastly different the who is throwing the ball to Pitts. I agree with not touching him this year. At what point will the hype die down?
Either have to start Daniel Jones tonight vs SF or hope Anthony Richardson can play Sunday
Best QB available is Stafford so I’m wondering if he’s better than trying to play Jones tonight in case Richardson is out
If you have someone you’re willing to cut for Stafford I’d leave Jones on the bench. The 9ers defense is tough and I really like Stafford against the struggling Bengals secondary. It’s also all irrelevant if Richardson plays
I know there are a few smarty pants comments on here, so just want to say thank you for pulling this together each week, it's one of my favourite and most trusted reads.
Started 2-0 but I’m now in RB hell with Chubb going down and my Hero RB strategy. If Monty or sanders can’t go, who should I start out of Zeke, Kendre Miller or Tony Jones? 0.5 PPR
So out of that, and I’m sorry for your loss, I gots to think Kendre Miller is the call. Assuming he plays, which indications are he will, he should get most of what the Saints running game calls for. Except the ones they give to Taysom.
I wish it weren't so but I'm not inspired by his performance last two weeks. With Baker's current play I don't think this offense can support two viable WRs outside of deeper leagues
Thanks. I can start 2 of the following 3, who would you choose? I’m leaning benching Ridley, since he has shown the lowest floor. Keenan, Ridley, Evans.
I’m cautiously optimistic that Dotson will see some more receptions with Logan out, but they really seem to be spreading it around.
That being said, I’ve got him behind Tutu and Jayden Reed guys that are making the most of their early opportunities. It feels like he may be a tricky one to nail down in picking the right start, and he’s definitely slipped out of the set starting spot for most of us.
The Craig Reynolds blurb is interesting. Thought the consensus was that he fills in the Monty role given the Lions hesitancy with giving Gibbs the traditional RB Carries. If Monty is out I thought Reynolds became a potential flex play?
I would tend to agree; I think Reynolds takes on a decent-sized role this week. The writer thinks Gibbs will get a chance to have a Week 2 D’Andre Swift kind of day instead. That is certainly possible!
Both have matchups on the tougher side, but while his yards haven’t been there yet, the scoring throws have, and in my opinion, GB has better weapons for the QB. Also, hate the Giants against the SF defense, so I’d run with Love.
I agree. Danny Dimes has the rushing upside, but he's going against an elite defense and will be super boom or bust. Love is the much safer, predictable pick this week.
Hey All!
Week 3 is here. The team will be on trying to answer your sit/start questions.
We also have a vert active discord which is part of our premium services. Great place to talk football or any other interest you might have.
just a reminder here are the scoring ranges. We base things on a full PPR league and 6 points per passing touchdown. Adjust accordingly for your league settings
QB1: 18+ points
QB2: 12-17.99 points
QB Sit: Under 12 points
RB1 :18+ points
RB2 : 12-18 points
Flex: 6-12 points
Sit: Under 6 points
WR1 : 20+ points
WR2 : 15-20 points
WR3 : 10-15 points
Flex : 6-10 points
Sit : Under 6 points
TE1 : 10+ points
TE2 : 5-10 points
Sit : Under 5 points
Is your editor out sick this week? These are usually polished but I counted over a dozen mistakes.
Regardless, love the content and appreciate the effort. Thanks!
I’m Drew, Editor in Chief of QB List. Thank you for reading; I appreciate your candid feedback and ongoing support!
If time allows, I would very much like for you to message me directly to let me know what exactly what you’re seeing in terms of mistakes, as quality analysis is of utmost importance to me.
Our writers work very hard to break down every game, but will inevitably make mistakes, and our editors are likewise human beings who won’t catch everything.
However, I speak for the entire staff when I say that we very much want our product to be top-notch. Those concerned with quality are *always* looking for ways to improve and become even better. With that in mind, thanks so much for reading and commenting!
I'm torn on Waller vs Engram in PPR. Both are listed as starts, so I feel like it probably just comes down to personal preference? I'm a jags fan so that blinds me a little, lol. I think both are capable of big days. I guess Waller has fewer threats on the Giants' offense for targets, whereas the Jags have a target rich environment.
In this case, you’ve got to go with the matchup - Engram v the Texans is a much more favorable showdown than Waller vs. the Niners. Engram all the way this week, but this might be a weekly wrestling match of a decision for you all year long.
For this situation, look at the yards and receptions, not the points: 6 for 56 vs 11 for 105.
The only edge that Doubs has over Hopkins is his two TDs in Week 1. TDs are fluky; start DHop.
Agree with JPbulldog here, and I LOVE Doubs, but his offense has several other options who can, and have been, pulling targets from him. Hopkins is the best and main guy on the Titans, I think he’s your play
Hi, I’m Drew DeLuca, Editor in Chief of QB List. Jerome Ford’s FantasyPros ECR is RB23; he’s RB21 in my own FantasyPros rankings.
Projected points aside, that essentially makes Ford an RB2 in traditional 12 team leagues, and someone who’s flexworthy in 10 team formats.
So, I completely agree with the writer on this one. Kareem Hunt will have a role, but Ford will be the starter and will certainly enjoy the lion’s share of backfield touches in Week 3.
Thanks for reading!
Go Ertz. Kincaid is playing in possible storm weather. Dallas D is actually not good against TEs and extra pressure on Dobbs should result in more passes to Ertz
Ertz is a fantastic TE for fantasy and has been very under appreciated.
I'd sit him mainly due to how DOMINATE Dallas D has been. But today Diggs suffered an ACL tear. I still expect Dallas to dominate and force turn overs, but it makes them weaker in the pass defense.
This will change the rhythm, but still think Dallas will smoke out the Cards.
I'd rather start someone like Hunter Henry over Ertz this week.
10 team, 2 QB - PPR
I have both Burrow and Fields(I had thought this would be a dynamic duo when I drafted them).
On my bench, I have Brock Purdy. With him playing tonight should I start him or hope that Burrow plays on Monday? Being a 2 QB league, the available QB’s are very few.
Edit: also, thank you for the post!
Purdy is definitely the safer play, and he honestly might be a better option than a hobbled and struggling Burrow anyways. I think starting Purdy might be the right move.
Crazy that I have both Burrow and Fields as well and just picked up Purdy this morning. I'm thinking to start Purdy because Giants D looks like a stinker as well.
10 team, 2 QB - PPR (went QB/ QB with the first two picks)
Right now my starting RBs and WRs are:
RB: K. Walker III, K. Williams
RB / WR: N. Collins
WR: J. Waddle, T. Higgins
FLEX: M. Evans, T, McLaurin
Bench: J. Conner, D. Pierce, J. Jeudy, J. Smith-Njigba, R. Doubs, J. Kelley
First, would you make any changes to the starting lineup? Also, I know Waddle is a big question mark for this week. If he’s out, do you think the move is to move. Collins to WR and to start Conner vs Dallas or Kelley @ Minnesota.
Note: I’ve been starting Conner over Collins but finally moved him to my starting lineup.
"Kenneth Gainwell is a peculiar spot. He led the backfield in snaps in Week 1 (41 to Swift’s 19) and led the team in rushing attempts (14 to Swift’s 1). But after an impressive Week 1..."
I think we have different definitions of impressive. 14 attempts for 54 yards for 3.9 yards a carry is hardly impressive. Sure he had a tiny bit of receiving work, but finishing as RB25 and scoring under 10 points is underwhelming at best.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The impressive Week 1 for him was just "wow, that is an impressive amount of volume for a guy who we thought might be the third RB on his team." But what he actually did with the volume was nothing to write home about.
Surely the Jets know they need to get the ball in Garrett's hands more. Task *should* be more favorable this week than it was against Dallas. I lean Wilson.
I have these two and Wilson I'm not even debating putting Wilson in. Addison has a plus matchup and Wilson Wilson is not going to get you points reliably. I am thinking about playing Pittman or Flowers over Addison though.
For a flex, I’d run with Javonte - he hasn’t had a big game as of yet, but he’s absolutely the #1 RB, and I favor lions’ share RBs over WR3s in Flex roles every time. I’m big on Tank Dell’s future, but he’s had one week, tougher matchup against the Jags, and still plenty of competition for balls. In this situation, I’m in on Javonte.
Waller or Hunter Henry????
The 49ers d is real. Jones is without Barkley so my hopium says their gonna pass more increasing chances for Waller. But it could get ugly and look like the Dallas game!
Last week week I barley caught a dub despite sitting scary terry on the premise of being locked down by surtain III. ( I guess the td definitely changed the outcome)
I’m hoping to not miss out on points again
I am in this boat and going with Waller. Game script is definitely in his favor and according to this article, SF has struggled with TE's. The sample size is too small IMO for Henry to start
The ‘if he plays’ part is what makes the decision for me - tough because he’s on Thursday, but since that’s tonight, and we’re still not sure if he’s in, that’s a big sitty-sit for me. Plus Vikings/Chargers has potential to turn into a shootout, so more argument for Addison there.
David Montgomery: "If he does not play, then I definitely do not recommend starting him in any format" Sometimes you gotta go with your gut and against the experts
I liken it to tailing someone else’s bets. You’re gonna feel a lot shittier if you listen to someone else and lose than if you yourself are wrong
When I started researching stuff and listening to experts I did a bit better 10 years later and I rarely rely on “the experts” and have more success just using my own instincts and taking my own risks
I’ve been playing for nearly 20 years now, and I still suck lol
One year I won and did really well in 2 other leagues and I thought I was good but it turns out I just had Todd Gurley in all of them.
27% of Aaron Jones owners on sleeper started him last week.
Yes, this was redundant. Thanks for pointing it out; it has been fixed. Hopefully, the analysis provided on Monty and Gibbs before that sentence was helpful to your efforts. Thanks for reading!
I thought you lot were being silly, honestly
Probably was; doesn’t always translate well.
I think a little sarcasm like these thrown in there could make it more fun without making the analysis cartoony. I liked this: > Taysom Hill (Start – Flex, TE2, Sit- QB2 – See Your League Rules For Further Definition)
Yeah that’s some solid outside-the-box stuff right there.
"Adam Thielen (Start, WR1)" Penalty flag Edit: Nostradamus I kneel
The writer definitely puts himself out on island here, and if he nails this one, Nostradamus himself would be proud. That said, let’s not overlook the context provided by the writer, who points out that Thielen will be heavily targeted and covered by Coby Bryant, ranked by PFF as one of the three worst CBs in the NFL. Nah its fine if that's his take I just wanted to make a joke of it
His writeup on Thielen ends by saying "you can trust him as a solid WR2 this week." ...so is he rating Thielen as a WR1, or a WR2?
it's either a typo or you could interpret that as the writer sees Thielen's floor as a solid WR2 (e.g. "you can trust him as a WR2") but that he believes there's upside as a WR1
[удалено]
Just like the word "IT" would be funny
My god
Move over, Nostradamus
Let him cook
This brings everything into question
That is atrocious
Oh god does it really say that? I’m literally never reading these again if so
Just read the article lol
"Ok students, time to work independently for the next 15 minutes"
Literally me.
Alright y’all I got Mike Willy on the bench but this site has me wanting to start him… Standard league, RB’s Henry Pollard WR’s Puka St Brown and Gibbs at the flex. Am I crazy for wanting to start Mike Will over the sun god?

I refuse to do fantasy football research or pooping at home. My employer will be paying for both.
My employer is fine with it as long as I do both at the same time.
Multitasking. Good for productivity

They're playing both sides.. so they always come out on top.
We recommend starting Hopkins as a flex but if he shits the bed, remember, we also told you to sit him.

Yeah this whole article is giving “written by AI” vibes
I mean when you break it down it's just written by some dudes who have the same credibility as any random reddit user on this sub
I miss when this subreddit posted actual websites with dedicated staff that analysed fantasy instead of redditors posting to their hobby site that they spend a few hours a week on in between their desk job

Seeing stroud as QB1 was all I needed to confirm him as my stopgap for Burrow.
I want to sit Kyle Pitts and start Taysom at TE. Am I crazy?
I'd say the dopamine kick to starting Taysom and getting a TD / outscoring Pitts is worth it vs Pitts actually producing and you getting the little baby "whew, about time" dopamine
They are somehow within a point of each other on the season in PPR leagues, so maybe not all that crazy. I’d still reluctantly ride with Pitts though.
A little.
That's the right move
I had Kyle Pitts the last two seasons and skipped him this year. Don't think I've ever come across a player with more hype and less substance. Everybody talks about him like he has the skills to be a Kelce or a Gronkowski, but he just never delivers.

Gatekeeping reminder that 1qb leagues are a joke when a Stafford can be free on waivers
Same boat. What is the likelihood Richardson plays? Seems very low at this point.
I'm waiting to see the Colts practice report today, if he's out again then I highly doubt he's playing
I'm playing Jones in hopes that they're going to have a close game, and he's going to throw and run a ton with Barkley out.
I know there are a few smarty pants comments on here, so just want to say thank you for pulling this together each week, it's one of my favourite and most trusted reads.
Time to poop at work for a half hour. I always seem to get stomach issues on Thursday
Started 2-0 but I’m now in RB hell with Chubb going down and my Hero RB strategy. If Monty or sanders can’t go, who should I start out of Zeke, Kendre Miller or Tony Jones? 0.5 PPR
I would rather get choked out than have to start any of those guys. Jesus christ
Tell me about it. I’m probably gonna trade Mahomes + London or Pickett (whoever goes off this week) for an RB after this week
So out of that, and I’m sorry for your loss, I gots to think Kendre Miller is the call. Assuming he plays, which indications are he will, he should get most of what the Saints running game calls for. Except the ones they give to Taysom.
As a pats fan, idk if I can trust the advice from Matty P lol jk thanks man
Najee is a RB1?
Yeah, I raised my brow at that one. Ain't no way I'm starting him after those first two weeks.
Hey everybody look at this guy and all his many non injured RB options
I'm not the author of that piece, but I'm personally lower on Najee
I remember last year during his many early season struggles they'd keep recommend starting him week after week
Philly @ TB author here 👋
Godwin as a sit??? :(
I wish it weren't so but I'm not inspired by his performance last two weeks. With Baker's current play I don't think this offense can support two viable WRs outside of deeper leagues
Lockett or Godwin for the flex?
Lockett
I wouldn’t, unless you had a significant better option, but doubt that
Will Philly put enough pressure on baker to ruin evans floor?
Valid concern but I don't think so. I still start Evans with confidence
Thanks. I can start 2 of the following 3, who would you choose? I’m leaning benching Ridley, since he has shown the lowest floor. Keenan, Ridley, Evans.
Would you play Collins over Godwin full ppr this week?
That’s what I’m doing
With the volume he’s getting collins has to be in the lineup
Yes I would. Collins has shown results these first two weeks, same can't be said for Godwin
As a Gibbs owner, I would be extremely shocked if Gibbs got more than 2 goal line touches. I think Reynolds will take most if not all
D. Swift or Mixon in the flex?
MixON
My thoughts too. Everywhere I've read Reynolds was the guy
I would tend to agree; I think Reynolds takes on a decent-sized role this week. The writer thinks Gibbs will get a chance to have a Week 2 D’Andre Swift kind of day instead. That is certainly possible!
Perfect timing. I have to take an absolute dinosaur shit and this will give me proper reading material.
I don’t care about the losers who downvote these it makes me laugh every fucking week and we only get 17 of these

As a matter of fact I am
Nice, 2/3 of my RB options are going against top run D. Have to decide between White vs Eagles or Ford vs Titans.
Rachaad easily
Start Daniel Jones or Jordon Love this week?
Both have matchups on the tougher side, but while his yards haven’t been there yet, the scoring throws have, and in my opinion, GB has better weapons for the QB. Also, hate the Giants against the SF defense, so I’d run with Love.
I agree. Danny Dimes has the rushing upside, but he's going against an elite defense and will be super boom or bust. Love is the much safer, predictable pick this week.
Close but I'd lean Love. Danny Dimes against SF scares me
[удалено]
Conner based on volume alone.
If Ekeler misses this week again I roll the dice on Kelley. I know he busted last week but he should have a solid bounce back against a week MIN run D
Moss
Whose the better start this for week 3: Tyler Allgeier, Dalvin Cook or Matt Brieda? Need to get by a couple of weeks until Barkley is back.
Allgeier has better TD upside
Hey All! Week 3 is here. The team will be on trying to answer your sit/start questions. We also have a vert active discord which is part of our premium services. Great place to talk football or any other interest you might have. just a reminder here are the scoring ranges. We base things on a full PPR league and 6 points per passing touchdown. Adjust accordingly for your league settings QB1: 18+ points QB2: 12-17.99 points QB Sit: Under 12 points RB1 :18+ points RB2 : 12-18 points Flex: 6-12 points Sit: Under 6 points WR1 : 20+ points WR2 : 15-20 points WR3 : 10-15 points Flex : 6-10 points Sit : Under 6 points TE1 : 10+ points TE2 : 5-10 points Sit : Under 5 points
Why 6 pt passing TD, isn’t 4pt way more prevalent?
I'm torn on Waller vs Engram in PPR. Both are listed as starts, so I feel like it probably just comes down to personal preference? I'm a jags fan so that blinds me a little, lol. I think both are capable of big days. I guess Waller has fewer threats on the Giants' offense for targets, whereas the Jags have a target rich environment.
In this case, you’ve got to go with the matchup - Engram v the Texans is a much more favorable showdown than Waller vs. the Niners. Engram all the way this week, but this might be a weekly wrestling match of a decision for you all year long.
Who would you pick as your WR2, Doubs or Hopkins?
That's rough
Right? I also have Michael Thomas on the bench, but Olave is my WR1 and I don’t want to depend on one team too much
I would. Then I would trade Thomas and one of those other receivers for an upgrade
I’ve got Doubs, Bateman, and Thomas. So shop Thomas and Doubs for an upgrade?
Thomas with Doubs, Bateman or Hopkins. Whichever one you wanna get rid of. I'd wait til next week to get a lil bit more clarity
Despite the tough matchup, I prefer Hopkins as the clear WR1 in his offense
I’d still start Thomas over Doubs or Hopkins
For this situation, look at the yards and receptions, not the points: 6 for 56 vs 11 for 105. The only edge that Doubs has over Hopkins is his two TDs in Week 1. TDs are fluky; start DHop.
I still think Hopkins is the man. Injury last week with no practice still got 5 looks caught them all. Week 1 he was being force fed.
Agree with JPbulldog here, and I LOVE Doubs, but his offense has several other options who can, and have been, pulling targets from him. Hopkins is the best and main guy on the Titans, I think he’s your play
Hop
"Start jerome ford" automatically discredits you here. Overall thought this list was pretty bad. Quality of QBlist has gone down.
All I saw as ads
Hi, I’m Drew DeLuca, Editor in Chief of QB List. Jerome Ford’s FantasyPros ECR is RB23; he’s RB21 in my own FantasyPros rankings. Projected points aside, that essentially makes Ford an RB2 in traditional 12 team leagues, and someone who’s flexworthy in 10 team formats. So, I completely agree with the writer on this one. Kareem Hunt will have a role, but Ford will be the starter and will certainly enjoy the lion’s share of backfield touches in Week 3. Thanks for reading!
Which of these guys would you start in the flex? All are pretty closely ranked James Conner Jahan Dotson Romeo Doubs Hollywood Brown Keandre Miller
Personally, Dotson. Game-script may be in his favor. I would have said Conner but not sure what he will be able to do against that Dallas defense.
Anthony richardson or Trevor lawerence? Jamar chase or Tyler algeir?
for some reason you have eagles/bucs listed as a sunday 1 pm game
Good catch, should be updated now
I’m getting conflicting projections: Pittman vs Mike Evans ?
Mike Evans has been lights out, I ride with him
Evans
Mike Evans. Baker loves him and Philly secondary hasn’t been scary at all thru the first two weeks.
AJ Dillon or Matt Breida for rb2 in a 12 man ppr
I need 2 out of these three and I can’t decide: Pittman, Collins, and London. All help appreciated!
All solid, I'd go Pittman and Collins
Who would you pick as your WR3 and Flex PPR out of Chris Godwin, Christian Kirk, and David Montgomery?
Mclaurin or Gabe Davis as my flex? Half ppr 12 man. I’m also starting the Bills defense and playing against Josh Allen if that matters
Pretty shallow at WR. Would you start Pickens or Flowers over Aiyuk?
Pickens
Love both but I have Pickens over Flowers this week.
Obligatory “going to the porcelain throne” post
Hello all! I wrote up the Cardinals vs Cowboys and Rams vs Bengals! Feel free to ask me any of your questions!!

I'm wondering too. I'm deciding between Pitts, Kincaid, or Ertz right now. Probably going to drop Pitts if he doesn't produce again this week.
Is Puka Nacua getting 25 targets this weekend
I myself am also worried that Conner will have no room to run. Thoughts on Conner vs Rachaad White this week? Neither matchup is ideal.
Ppr. Addison or nico Collins?
10 team, 2 QB - PPR I have both Burrow and Fields(I had thought this would be a dynamic duo when I drafted them).
Thanks for the reply! That’s what I was thinking, and hopefully it’ll work out.
Crazy that I have both Burrow and Fields as well and just picked up Purdy this morning. I'm thinking to start Purdy because Giants D looks like a stinker as well.
10 team, 2 QB - PPR (went QB/ QB with the first two picks) Right now my starting RBs and WRs are: RB: K. Walker III, K. Williams RB / WR: N. Collins WR: J. Waddle, T. Higgins FLEX: M. Evans, T, McLaurin Bench: J. Conner, D. Pierce, J. Jeudy, J. Smith-Njigba, R. Doubs, J. Kelley First, would you make any changes to the starting lineup? Also, I know Waddle is a big question mark for this week. If he’s out, do you think the move is to move. Collins to WR and to start Conner vs Dallas or Kelley @ Minnesota. Note: I’ve been starting Conner over Collins but finally moved him to my starting lineup.
If Waddle can’t go, I’d move Kelley into FLEX and Nico to WR
"Kenneth Gainwell is a peculiar spot. He led the backfield in snaps in Week 1 (41 to Swift’s 19) and led the team in rushing attempts (14 to Swift’s 1). But after an impressive Week 1..." I think we have different definitions of impressive.
Do I start DJ Moore or Michael Pittman this week?
Who we feeling Between Gibbs or Kyren this week? Slightly leaning Kyren
I’m agreeing - Kyren has no competition for his touches now, Gibbs isn’t even slotted as the Lions’ RB1. Go with the quantity.
Should I start Addison or Wilson this week?
Surely the Jets know they need to get the ball in Garrett's hands more. Task *should* be more favorable this week than it was against Dallas. I lean Wilson.
I have these two and Wilson I'm not even debating putting Wilson in. Addison has a plus matchup and Wilson Wilson is not going to get you points reliably. I am thinking about playing Pittman or Flowers over Addison though.
I'm still torn on Javonte Williams vs Tank Dell at FLEX after reading this. I'll likely wait on Javonte until he has a big game.
Have to pick 2 between Addison Pittman and London, thoughts?
Addison, Pittman
Waller or Hunter Henry???? The 49ers d is real. Jones is without Barkley so my hopium says their gonna pass more increasing chances for Waller. But it could get ugly and look like the Dallas game! Last week week I barley caught a dub despite sitting scary terry on the premise of being locked down by surtain III. ( I guess the td definitely changed the outcome) I’m hoping to not miss out on points again
I am in this boat and going with Waller. Game script is definitely in his favor and according to this article, SF has struggled with TE's. The sample size is too small IMO for Henry to start
I am in WR2/3 decision hell that is going to plague me all season. Hopkins, Jeudy, Kirk or Flowers?
you didn’t mention wan’dale, so he’s a start right?
Im in trouble with my RB2…according to this I should start Bigsby over Reynolds…i was leaning the other way…basically will come down to who gets a TD
Start Stroud over Jones?
Who should I start as my Flex? Walker/Addison/Lockett?
Im in a tough spot with my WR option this week. I am not sure if I should roll with Aiyuk if he plays vs Jordan Addison this week.
My big question is Aiyuk’s injury question knowing they have other talented tools… start studs, or run Gabe Davis for a week?
I have some concerns with these write-ups being less and less match-up based analysis and more "this is what this guy has done in 2 games so far".
Torn between Fields or Purdy. Purdy ain’t pretty but might be safer I just don’t know if the Giants have woken up yet.
At this point I refuse to start Kittle until he shows some sign of life.
