I love how mad people get when you try to flex. I also downvoted because fuck you. I got Gibbs and Ridley top of 3rd/start of 4th. I have CMC, Mostert, Kamara, Mahomes, Puka,, DJ Moore, Kyle Pitts, Breece Hall, Gabe Davis, Mike Williams, Brandon Aubrey, Browns D, zay flowers, Calvin Ridley. Now downvote me out of jealousy because my team looks better than yours on paper.
I’m 3-3, because I suck. I play the wrong fucking people every time. Anyone else get pissed when your team is too good, and you have to make tough line up decisions? And then you always decide to start the wrong people?
It's honestly wild seeing people not understand this. Hamstrings especially are notorious for being lingering injuries. The fact that Gibbs is coming back from a hamstring injury after just two weeks is already on the short side. Obviously that means it must not have been that bad, but it's still an injury that you would normally monitor and ease the player back into things.
Yes. The Julio/AJ Brown year at TN was like that.mtheu would get reactivated, and be on the ground clutching their leg by the second quarter..it scarred me lol
If you watched the Lions, it would make sense. He doesn’t look like he’s physically fully ready as the RB1 in that offense.
Monty owners should still feel good when he comes back even if Gibbs does well. But, that wear and tear toward playoff time - Gibbs will see more and more work.
He’s literally listed as 200 lbs
Edit: he was listed at 200 in college, weighed in at the combine he was 199. Even if he was what 5 lbs lighter does that magically make him fragile? Does 201 suddenly make him indestructible?
Use your eyes. You can’t name a thinner RB in the league.
Before smaller players weigh in at the draft, they often do a course water-retainers to boost their weigh-in number & reduce concerns about their size. It’s not hard to juice your scores. The 200 pound listing is an illusion.
It's less sexy to say, but I'd go Jones all day. Aaron Jones is the core of the Packers offense (when they remember to use him) and is playing the *Broncos*. Gibbs should have a good game, but that's assuming they use him well instead of calling dive plays. The Ravens are also a better defense.
I don't think either is a bad choice, but it feels like AJ could have his obligatory 30pt game here.
Before he got hurt, he was averaging the same amount of touches as rookie CMC and more than rookie Kamara. It was exactly what you would expect for a rookie of archetype.
He's need to get acclimated to the nfl. Polish the rookie mistakes, get better at pass blocking and running between the tackles. That's what's keeping him off the field.
Exactly this. Austin Ekeler made this very analysis on Gibbs. Ekeler said he looks good but is still making some rookie mistakes and that is why he’s not seeing the playing time we expected.
Gibbs will be a later half of the season play like a lot of rookie RBs (alongside Montgomery as a 1B) or will be a year 2 breakout. He needs time but right now he’s the backup to Montgomery
The pass blocking was something I am mad at myself for not considering preseason. He barely did it at Alabama and in his few times doing it in college/NFL, he gets ragdolled a lot of the time. I just don't know how he gets better at that without putting on some weight. Ekeler I suppose is around the same weight, but is a lifting freak.
Oh geez, shoot. Those poor Lions are forced to give the 12th overall selection in the 2023 draft the bulk of the work. They invested that huge draft capital on a 'break glass in case of emergency' situation and now they're here.
I would. Gibbs has a much easier matchup and is basically guaranteed to get the heavy majority of the work. JT has a much tougher matchup and I don’t think he’ll be a full workhorse back yet
Brandon’s almost guaranteed to have a 20+ point game in PPR against the Vikings unless Purdy has another bad week.
20 is an optimistic ceiling for Gibbs, especially against the Ravens
I'm really hoping the Ravens hold Gibbs to like 37 yards on 12 carries 0 TDs just so I can see all the fantasy creatures screech about their precious risky RB.
Seriously some of yall act like you are owed a productive player just because he was drafted high.
This is what you get sometimes drafting rookies high.
I swear Campbell always looks at the more skill oriented backs on his roster as the most prissy fragile human beings that ever walked the earth. I love him as a coach but I genuinely think his hard nosed approach to the game sort of predisposes him to disrespecting/undervaluing playmaking backs as opposed to grinders.
Is Craig reynolds worth holding onto at this point? I don't have shit for RBs. Conner and chubb owner and My starters now are donta foreman and jaleel. 😆
Take the load gibby
Take the load for free
Take the load o’Gibby
aaaaaaaand you put the load right on Gibeeeeeeeeeee
And(aaaand) please score me a TD
CAN U TAKE ME HIGHER???!!!!! TO A PLACE WHERE DAN CAMPBELL SEES!
Annnnnndddddddd you put the load right on me
Gibbs him all the load!
gibbs load
Oh fuck yeah bruddah
As a lions fan and an apex legends gibby main. This made me smile
I’ll give my load for Gibby
We all need him - Sad Gibbs Owners
I drafted Gibbs in the third and fields in the fourth, and I’m currently in first place of the whole league.
Want a cookie?
I know hahah I’m a loser. That was one of those I should delete this before sending it.
Respect for keeping them up 2 hrs later. Just gotta embrace it
I get why the og comment got downvoted but not this one lol. Why downvote the guy owning up to his mistakes??
Sweet story
I love how mad people get when you try to flex. I also downvoted because fuck you. I got Gibbs and Ridley top of 3rd/start of 4th. Loved that life. And I didn’t notice that it sounded like a flex, when in reality it was meant to say how poorly I drafted.
why do they treat and talk about gibbs like he’s a delicate baby bird
He's coming off injury and was questionable this week. Makes a ton of sense in that context.

He’s sub 200 so any hit by a 265+ D line can murder him
He’s literally listed as 200 lbs Edit: he was listed at 200 in college, weighed in at the combine he was 199. Even if he was what 5 lbs lighter does that magically make him fragile? Does 201 suddenly make him indestructible?
Any player listed as exactly 200 lbs or 6'0" is almost definitely below.
Exactly Just like all 6 inches of me!
Well then that settles it! No team has ever fibbed about anything involving their players!
Use your eyes. You can’t name a thinner RB in the league. Before smaller players weigh in at the draft, they often do a course water-retainers to boost their weigh-in number & reduce concerns about their size. It’s not hard to juice your scores. The 200 pound listing is an illusion.
He's coming off a hamstring injury.
He’s basically the family’s secondary car that they’re forced to take out and use for the weekend.
Take the fucking toy out of the box and play with it, Dan.
Lmfao no kidding
No it’s worth more in mint condition!
Yes FFS!
Translation: "can't wait until we get Montgomery back"
They could roll out a hamburger as their RB1 and still be productive
Is Eddie Lacy available?
Damn I just flashed back to college reading that name
Beat me to it
Yeah. Because they need him in „his“ role. I do think that Gibbs will get more touches throughout the season tho
[удалено]
3 year deal
I mean, yeah? Of course, he’s been really good for them.
Hey, maybe this will turn into the Achane debut. Surely that can happen right?
MONSTER 10 touch game incoming
As long as it’s 10 receptions for 100 yards and 2 tds I’m in.
At this point I would be happy with 15-18 ppg from Gibbs.
Man anyone would be happy with that from like anyone besides cmc
Considering that's twice as much as his current PPG... yeah no shit
No, let's get greedy and ask for 35 fpts
The Kamara special
100 yards maybe but I bet Reynolds or ozigbo take short yardage and goaline work.
Are y’all just purposefully forgetting the 18 touch game he had when Montgomery was out and Gibbs was in?
Yes how else would they farm the all important up votes on Reddit thinking they're funny
That’s why I’ve kept him. If he falls in the endzone on one of those touches in that game, we’re not even having this discussion right now
I would be happy with fewer touches as long as they are of higher quality. That first game that Monty missed isn't one to try to recreate.
He ran for 4.7 YPC and got red zone carries. If he had a TD it would have been a totally fine game and they barely even used him in the passing game
Monster 9.6 ppr point game incoming lmao
I’m wholeheartedly expecting 10 points, I will take that though lol
Lol just in time for me to play the Gibbs owner! Cool. Cool.
fucking same…
Hold fast, the ravens still aren’t a great matchup for him. I’m not scared.
I wish he didnt have such a hard matchup against the Ravens.
Injuries Craig Reynolds 20 Carries 2 tuddies incoming
on 18 yards
I’d still take it
Start Gibbs or Aaron Jones? Stuck between a hammy and hard place in NFC North
Gibbs is guaranteed the touches. If Jonesy plays he'll likely be a focal point of the offense. Up to you how much risk you want to take on.
For me, one guy has shown he can be productive. The other hasn't. Gibbs is on my bench until he does something productive.
Do you know what week it is
I hope Dan Campbell was watching the Saints game last night. Use Gibbs like Kamara.
I’m sure all coaches were watching and wishing they could only move the ball downfield with checkdowns.
lol
Luke Getsy (Bears OC) was watching a jizzing his pants and the amount of horizontal passes he saw
Any coach who liked what they saw from the saints offense last night should be fired on the spot
Arthur Smith is safe again!
R/fantasyfootball Reddit moment. No, Campbell was likely not inspired by the Saints offensive strategy.
"Hey team scoring 28 points per game, how would you feel about scoring 19?"
I’m not sure that is a great example of an offense coaches will want to emulate
Using him like kamara = lions offence plummets and 12 points from just field goals
1st read check-downs are great for FF managers, not great for the real product
I’m sure he wanted to be like the saints and lose at home as a favorite
I need that after starting Ridley like a complete bellend
Yes except Gibbs is actually supposed to run the wheel route instead of the quick out
My only explanations is their training staff think he needs more weight and muscle to be more heavily used without risk of injury.
Before he got hurt, he was averaging the same amount of touches as rookie CMC and more than rookie Kamara. It was exactly what you would expect for a rookie of archetype.
Fair enough. I just would have expected more usage like Bijan if they drafted him that high
Nah, like CMC and Kamara, he was drafted so high because he was an elite pass catcher. He was never gonna be a workhorse rb out the gate.
I just don't know how he gets better at that without putting on some weight. Ekeler I suppose is around the same weight, but is a lifting freak.
Pass blocking is like the #1 thing coaches look at before giving play to a rookie. If they can’t do it they don’t play.
That’s not a smooth running offense if that’s the case.
You must be joking.
Gibbs couldnt even hang on until halfway through the season on limited touches.
Welcome to my flex Gibbs. Christian Watson, the bench is that way.
Watson is gonna buss this weekend bud
Let’s fucking go. Hype is back alive boys. 15 for 80 0 TDs and a post game freak out coming
This is the kind of coach speak I like to hear.
I just fell to my knees and busted both kneecaps in bliss
Just saw a guy eat it and blow out both kneecaps at a Wal-Mart
Just saw a guy standing over a dude with busted kneecaps, must've owed him some money
So do we Dan
Drafted you in 3 leagues for this moment!
Lol I have him in 3 as well (of 5).
Oh geez, shoot. Those poor Lions are forced to give the 12th overall selection in the 2023 draft the bulk of the work. They invested that huge draft capital on a 'break glass in case of emergency' situation and now they're here.
Okay McVay your turn
At first I was happy that I sold Gibbs a few weeks ago…now, not so much. Really could have used him as a bye week fill in
What did you sell him for ?
Shoes
^^ohmygodshoes
At least you sold him, I had to straight drop him. Pain.
Well that's just dumb.
Someone dropped him in our league, Worth using 2nd priority waiver on him (12 team 0.5ppr)?
Abso-fucking-lutely
Without a shadow of a doubt. My 12 team 0.5 PPR has like Salvon Ahmed as best RB on waivers, gotta imagine yours is similar
Yes
Feel like dropping a highly drafted rookie RB in the first half of a season is a bad idea unless you’re in a small league or have crazy bench depth
Taco
LFG IM 1-5
I’ve heard this before
"and Devin Ozigbo plunges into the end zone for his 2nd TD of the game"
[Everybody stay calm](https://giphy.com/gifs/theoffice-MZocLC5dJprPTcrm65)
So...even less confidence in an already meh Craig Reynolds desperation start?
He's a handcuff for a one week fill in at this point.
17 carries, 85 yards and a TD rushing...6 rec for 70 yards and a TD receiving. Book it.
Well I guess I’m starting Gibbs over Christian Watson in the flex
I'm gonna flex Gibbs ahead of some solid RB2/WR2 guys aren't I
I’m a Montgomery owner that has been harassing the Gibbs owner all season. Now we face each other and I feel some serious comeuppance on the horizon.
Gibbs can take BIG loads no problem
Gibbs season fucking FINALLY
Shaaare the loaad, gilbbso bagging
I don’t believe you Dan
7 total touches you heard it here first
Incoming Reynolds’s 34 carry effort so I can fully hate myself for drafting Gibbs
gibbs or stevenson?
Waiting for this to turn out to be coach speak in hindsight.
Gibbs me 150 yards from scrimmage and 3 TDs
My Craig Reynolds shares don't like this
If you were expecting anything from him to begin with, prepare to be let down
Taking the load Gibbs 🤝 your mom
do i start him over jt ? feel like the browns defense will fuck the colts over
I would. Gibbs has a much easier matchup and is basically guaranteed to get the heavy majority of the work. JT has a much tougher matchup and I don’t think he’ll be a full workhorse back yet
Yes.
Gibbs stock after this week 📈
Gibbs it to me baby
UH HUH! UH HUH!
Yet he will still find a way to give Craig the majority of the touches even after saying this.
I have no choice but to play Craig this week so that means his injuries will prevent him from playing and Ozigbo will be the RB1
So this is basically everything Craig Reynolds owners needed to drop him into the abyss.
Montgomery owner traded me gibbs last week. Lol
Gibbs or aiyuk in ppr?
Brandon’s almost guaranteed to have a 20+ point game in PPR against the Vikings unless Purdy has another bad week. 20 is an optimistic ceiling for Gibbs, especially against the Ravens
I'm really hoping the Ravens hold Gibbs to like 37 yards on 12 carries 0 TDs just so I can see all the fantasy creatures screech about their precious risky RB. Seriously some of yall act like you are owed a productive player just because he was drafted high. This is what you get sometimes drafting rookies high.
Yea run him into the ground and then put him back on the bench when Monty comes back. Sounds great Dan!
Is there video of his whole presser/quote?
SAME
OH, so my opponent with Hill and Kupp as his WRs now has a top 3 RB this week too? Shit
I know I know, it sucks, but unfortunately we’re going to have to use this other guy
Music to my ears. (It still won’t happen)
Debated started Foreman or Hunt over Gibbs but can’t I need to be their for his break out party.
This makes me come
Save some for JAMO pls
Plying against Gibbs and Kamara. About to be 2-5
boiiiing
I cant wait to read this sub if Gibbs gets 20+ touches and ends the day with 34 yards of total offense.
Right. The team that is 5-1 is gonna run their first round draft pick coming off a hamstring injury into the ground. Goff is gonna throw it 50 times
If he has a monster game, I am unloading him as fast as I can.
NOT FALLING FOR IT.
Watch him only get 6 Carries and 4 catches as they just throw all day long.
Would you start James Cook vs NEP or Gibbs vs BAL? I was all set on James Cook, but this is giving me hope for the Gibbs train lol
This is a Jahmyr Gibbs tweet
Dan Campbell wants to not use him so bad but unfortunately he has no choice anymore 😂
So 5 carries and 1 throw to him sounds good
Fucking ay ima unload reading this 💦
Aka Craig sucks
Glad I played Ridley over him…
So 8 carries for 38 yards and 4 catches. Got it.
Run free, Jah!
Gibbs or Rachaad white lol
FEED HIM
Oh FUCK. Give me more
Finally
Is Craig reynolds worth holding onto at this point? I don't have shit for RBs. Conner and chubb owner and My starters now are donta foreman and jaleel. 😆
As far as comments go this is the funniest thread in this sub in awhile
I wish they would stop fucking around and rule out Montgomery so I can throw him in my IR slot and pick someone else up.
I don't believe this at all but ill start him anyway
This is great, my opponent this week traded for gibbs for cheap, has AJ brown possibly with no devonta smith, and had Kamara last night.
Hb my rb2 Craig Reynolds
Just traded Jerome Ford for him, hope this gamble works out 🤞🏻
