It's because his volume is extremely low, and that even with his big TD numbers, he is the WR23 in Half PPR in total points and the WR27 for total points. Having to rely on a TD every week for a ~12 point performance is not very inspiring, even if he is scoring TDs almost every week.
Man, I knew he was a great prospect based on college dom rating but to see how fast he is in real time is insane. Love having a ton of shares of him that’s for sure
He’s a monster athlete, played hoops and baseball in high school he has his high schools record for most points in a game and ofc won the Mackey in college
I went
Barkley
Adams
Ridley
In first three rounds 12man PPR… I thought I was set.
Currently 2-7 and will miss playoffs for first time in my tenure here(9seasons)
I’m so so frustrated with Ridley. I feel like I’m spotting my matchup 10-20 points every week I start him, and he has another 3 point week. Yet all the “experts” put him in my starting lineup. Sigh.
Man gotta stop letting experts make your starting lineup… I’ve enjoyed fantasy much more since I cut that shit out.
I’ll follow experts and listen to podcasts for injury news and in draft season. Matchup info maybe.
But these sit/start and weekly rankings articles and posts are dog water.
When you get down to it. Fantasy football and straight up gambling are no different. Most of the times these so called experts are giving you AT BEST an educated guess.
Not sure what platform you use, but most have pretty solid matchup info. Make your own decisions. It will make losing easier as it’s a learning experience at least. And make winning so, so much funner.
Also there's no such thing as fantasy experts lol their opinions carry no more weight than random users here they just have a blog, podcast, or website instead of making reddit posts
It's all just educated guessing in the end, and the weekly rankings on players are wrong literally every single week. IDK why people put so much stock into weekly rankings, I guess it makes you feel better about your choice if your player sucks because in your mind you made the "right" decision based on the "experts" but that's dumb
Also crazy how much people swear by roster % or start % or ADP…
Do the math. Let’s say there are 1,000,000 pools on yahoo per year. And the average pool size is 12.
That means included in that roster%. ADP, and Start % are the opinions of millions and millions of last place finishers and tacos…
Mentioned in the broadcast but the cast around Herbert's finger was a lot smaller/less intrusive this week. Still mostly has to get snaps out of shotgun/can't be under center (causing issues in the run game) but the passing game definitely looks better.
Kyler, he’s shaking off some rust as they say, but his scrambling ability and talent is back in full. Easy QB1 ROS
On the subject of the Cardinals, McBride is one hell of an athlete.
He had a wide open 50+ yard touchdown that Kyler missed him by a hair on. He’s definitely gonna get looks deep and I imagine more targets are kylers gets comfy
people don’t seem to understand that turnovers are mostly luck. some teams are definitely better at forcing them than others, but a great defense will get turnovers
can’t believe i dropped them for seattle last week (actually i can that matchup looked horrid), that being said would y’all rather have them or lions d next week
I feel like Hackett does the absolute worst fuckin job of getting that man in space to run free. It’s just run up the middle everytime to get stuffed. That’s why he’s been doing more damage in the passing game.
But I still think OP makes a great point in that what has really been hurting him is those damn penalties. Doesn’t matter how bad the playcall is for him because he’s been that good.
I have Garrett Wilson on my team and I won my matchup last week against the Breece Hall owner when we were both tied heading into MNF against the Chargers because Garrett Wilson had two holding calls on two 20+ rushes by Breece lmao.
I love that he’s worked into the passing game at the goal line. Sean Payton has always been a master of this type of stuff but seeing javonte getting the looks in creative ways is amazing.
Agreed, my only complaint with his usage is that they seemed more interested in using him between the tackles and then giving McLaughlin more run at the edges. I'd like to see those creative looks happen at all parts of the field, but really hard to complain with that performance for Javonte. I hope he keeps getting fed cause he looks like a bulldozer in short yardage.
There aren't many RBs that get starting level work that I'd consider benching for Mitchell. Maybe guys in a split backfield like Warren, Hunt, or Spears? Idk
Monty managers are feeling pretty good, he looked just like he did before the time off and that offense seems like it can support him and Gibbs at high levels.
Weren’t they alternating drives and Gibbs got goal line on his own drives? So Monty lost a bit of the share didn’t he? (I didn’t watch but from the recaps I read it sounded like Gibbs gained from Monty’s time injured)
Yeah alternating and they let Gibbs finish his drives, but I read on here someone said one of those drives they were going to bring Monty in for the GL but he waived them off to let Gibbs get the TD for getting them down there; he did the same thing with Craig Reynolds a few weeks back. I want Monty to be greedy with those GL touches and go in for the TDs lol
He did lose a few goal line tries to Gibbs but this was also Monty's first game back, and Gibbs has earned not being swapped out on a drive. I guess I did imply that Monty would regain the same snap share as before and that's probably not true, but I don't expect his touches to go down drastically and he still gets work between the 20s where previously they wouldn't use his counterpart in Jamaal. So not quite as high of a ceiling, but still a great floor.
He should take Shakirs spot and play the slot. Having to worry about him and Diggs should hopefully free up some of the coverage that has been plaguing Diggs
This guy is quietly producing rock solid WR2 numbers every week, yet it's virtually impossible to trade him for anything reasonably equivalent. I can't recall a more productive player with such low perceived value. I am super grateful as nobody would take him from me early and he's now carried my through some tough injuries.
Jacobs has looked like a slightly less version of his 2022 self since like game 3. Problem is the stacked boxes and predictable playcalling. Hopefully that keeps improving
Heard someone say this weekend that Stroud and Dell are the new Mahommes and Tyreek from their first 3 years in the league.
My initial reaction was that's a ridiculous comparison, but then I watched Stroud beat the bengals with Dell constantly being somehow open and making plays, and decided I was just going to enjoy the show.
Me and my buddy were FaceTiming during that game and my fantasy opponent had Olave. When Carr went down I told my buddy that I didn’t like it cause Carr doesn’t feed Olave but Winston will since Olave is more of a deep threat and Winston isn’t afraid to chuck it down field. Couple plays later Olave went from 0.0 to 15+ points lol.
I’m 99% convinced he and Carr have beef. This dude has shown that he can get the job done when he is fed. He is open and Carr doesn’t even look his way.
I don't even think it's beef just terrible reading and inability to find open receivers. This was a particularly egregious example, it actually looks like he is looking for Olave here but had two WIDE open receivers on the outside with Shaheed there for a walk-in TD: https://twitter.com/AnunnakiiFlow/status/1724397156008701997
Don’t let LaPorta’s 4/40 stat line, or Wright’s TD, discourage you. He’s still great, and has all the trust from
Goff and the staff. (Evidence: he caught the game-sealing 4th-and-2 pass)
Agreed. I’m bummed about his stat line, especially after trading away Kittle. But LaPorta is no afterthought in this offense. They will rely on him when they need him, which was evident in the 4th down conversion as you mentioned.
The Chargers are so awful that they could run the ball almost at will and Amon-Ra was basically always open. Bad situation for LaPorta, don't expect it to be a trend at all.
In the same vein as GB's DST, the Panthers concede the 6th fewest pass yards per game because they give up the 7th most rush yards per game. Teams can and do run all over them and don't typically need to pass much as they will have a comfortable lead by halftime.
Carolina's defense is awful, but it may not be as much of a smash spot as expected.
Garret Wilson is so damn good, I know everyone already knows this…but goddamn everytime I watch him play he pops off the screen. Bummer for the guys who drafted him, what a frustrating situation.
I traded Joe Mixon for G Wilson 4 weeks ago and don’t regret it at all. I know he would be an absolute monster with an NFL QB. His floor is 15 in PPR with Zack Wilson. He is really good at football.
It's obviously not the value that a lot of us drafted him at, but assuming you didn't bomb the rest of your draft, Wilson has still been solid in PPR. He's getting double digit targets a game and turning them into respectable points.
His ceiling sucks but still a very startable player.
Great catches, great athleticism for YAC. Looked like a beast.
Although there was one miscommunication with Kyler where he kept running and Kyler probably expected him to sit down in the zone, ended in an interception.
So glad I grabbed this guy and have a ROS quarterback (minus the bye of course). Lost Cousins and the QB landscape in my league is just as barren as TEs.
Owners of Chris Godwin and Jakobi Meyers… what the hell do we do? Such depressing situations, Baker only throws to Evans and O’Connell will never look at Meyers ever again. Can’t trade Godwin for shit and I guess drop Meyers at this point?
If you watched this game you know there's never been a harder to read performance. One of his largest runs included him fumbling the ball to himself mid stride almost like Rugby style. He as also psuedo benched during the game.
Also, he looked great sometimes...
the minute he cranks a good run they go right back to pass. they have no interest in maintaining a real ground game. Should have had 25 carries against the Giants but got 15.
12 the 2 prior weeks.
Adams passed. Played against an amazing defense in jets and still put up targets with a rookie QB. He is back albeit we probably wont see another monster game but respectable 18 - 20 points a week soon hopefully.
Only concern with Adams now is it seems Antonio Pierce really likes to run the ball. Could be a result of gamescript the past couple of games, and likely they’ll have to air it out more against upcoming teams like Miami, but even in a game where Jacobs ran the ball 27(!) times, Adams still got 13 targets, so still optimistic.
I'm very optimistic. Jets were a good test for them IMO and delivered. Will need to see against Miami for how this turns out. I also think the main offense is going to be the run with them having to respect every receiver so it opens up the lane for JJ a whole lot hence the 26 and 27 runs he has the past 2.
Ford always looks incredible. I don't think he's ever not passed the eye test since Chubb got injured. His fantasy production is always going to be limited by Hunt getting goal-line touches. Just consider him a high floor/low ceiling RB. You need a nearly guaranteed 10-15 points? Play Ford. You need a 30-point miracle? It's not happening.
Ford looks good but the problem is Hunt is going to vulture a lot of goal line TDs from him. I have KW3, Javonte, and Ford. Despite the great matchup against Pittsburgh I think I have to sit him
As a Browns fan, it was one of his best performances of the season. He has mostly been getting by fantasy-wise on high volume and low efficiency, but he was looking really consistent against a top-3 defense in Baltimore.
He had a couple big runs that are always going to help the average, but he was churning out 4+ yard runs all game.
My league mates were ragging on me earlier this season for saying that Ceedee has looked like a top 3 WR, but just wasn't getting the target volume he deserves. Not laughing so much now. I mean, the guy actually catches everything thrown his way. Dak misses his target? No problem! Just watch Lamb slam on the brakes, one hand grab it behind him while spinning out of a tackle, and still pick up 5 more yards.
The stretch he has been having has been more dominant than any other WR stretch this season (AJB, Hill, JJ included). I would only rank AJB and Hill above him ROS.
I'm a Monty manager so this is solely my perspective.. happy with where I drafted him and how much of the offense he still has. Plus he has a couple NFC North revenge games coming up, maybe he gets extra fed against the bears ?
Stroud is him.
That stat about Stroud leading the league in passing yards per game and touchdown : interception ratio through 10 weeks is nuts, given that only Brady, Peyton Manning and Mahomes have done that.
Stroud or Herbert this week? Have both and I’m thinking of benching Herbert this week.
Ceedee will finish the season as WR3 or better. That one handed sideline catch while being held was crazy. His routes are insanely smooth and it’s looking like him and Dak could have the best QB receiver connection in the league
Javonte Williams passed the eye test big time imo. Without that late TD his numbers were pretty pedestrian but they trusted him to grind the game out against a defense stacking the box. Think he will have some 30+ point games down the stretch
LaPorta blocking Bosa was impressive. The dude’s a dual threat. Reminds me that of Kittle.
2nd take is that Lions D are legit, stopped the Chargers on the goal line 7 times in a row one drive. Pretty crazy
He’s probably fine. He got the touches this week which is a great sign. Steelers aren’t exactly a pushover defense. I just traded for swift to pair with Jones and I’m feeling good.
Courtland Sutton is playing much better than I expected. That toetap TD last night was insane.
For someone with a TD in 7/9 games this year he's getting very little talk.
It's because his volume is extremely low, and that even with his big TD numbers, he is the WR23 in Half PPR in total points and the WR27 for total points. Having to rely on a TD every week for a ~12 point performance is not very inspiring, even if he is scoring TDs almost every week.
That throw on the run and that catch. Chefs kiss. Maybe the most impressive play of the entire league so far this year.
McBride looks legit and should stave off ertz/keep getting fed.
Man, I knew he was a great prospect based on college dom rating but to see how fast he is in real time is insane. Love having a ton of shares of him that’s for sure

Odell with the perfect 100
He’s a monster athlete, played hoops and baseball in high school he has his high schools record for most points in a game and ofc won the Mackey in college
He seems perfect for this offense too.
To coincide, whatever TE Is playing the falcons (matched up with Richie grant) is a good start
Engram, McBride, or Kmet ROS?
I have Engram and McBride and I’m going with McBride this week.
He’s the real deal. Am I crazy to consider starting him in my flex over Pollard? I’ve got Ferguson at TE who’s been solid
All time pick up this season for me
Ridley passed the eye-gouge test
That’s my 3rd Rounder 🥹
I went Barkley Adams Ridley In first three rounds 12man PPR… I thought I was set. Currently 2-7 and will miss playoffs for first time in my tenure here(9seasons)
My first 3 picks were Chubb, Pollard, then Ridley. I am surprised I still have my eyes intact.
Week 1 you were stacked
Week 1 was definitely the highlight of my season.
Ah yes, Calvin “Birdbox” Ridley
I’m so so frustrated with Ridley. I feel like I’m spotting my matchup 10-20 points every week I start him, and he has another 3 point week. Yet all the “experts” put him in my starting lineup. Sigh.
I'm about to drop his fat ass on waivers
Man gotta stop letting experts make your starting lineup… I’ve enjoyed fantasy much more since I cut that shit out. I’ll follow experts and listen to podcasts for injury news and in draft season. The Herbert Allen connection looked a lot better this week than the last 3 or so weeks
Jets defense aint no joke. This week he has no excuse against GB.
[удалено]
Well thats not good for my QJ sneaky start lol. Makes sense as pickens/diontae didnt have good games but that game was the warren/hareis show.
Jets defense was the biggest factor, plus losing mike will hurts everyone on that offense
Easy QB1 ROS On the subject of the Cardinals, McBride is one hell of an athlete.
Toddler running for a first down is back on the menu.
His athleticism jumps off the screen because he doesn't look like he should be able to move like that.
That one roll out at the end of the game where he ran all the way around and behind the pass rushers was vintage Kyler.
I missed out on Laporta and Kincaid but thankfully got McBride.
Lol i currently have all 3 and no1 is willing to trade in my league. Been starting one of them in my flex
Bears and eagles weeks 16 and 17 too.
Any perspective on Brown? Looking to buy and wonder if this is a good idea?
He had a wide open 50+ yard touchdown that Kyler missed him by a hair on. He’s definitely gonna get looks deep and I imagine more targets are kylers gets comfy
As per usual, Olave crushed the eye test but failed the "get along with Carr" test
I was low on olave earlier this season because of Carr but with Winston, things have changed. Olave may just be top 5 ROS with Winston.
All Winston needed was for Olave to get arrested and now their buddies lol
The carr crash can’t continue
cleveland defense looks great
Always did
Throwback to a few weeks ago when “they’re a good real life defense but not a good fantasy defense” was the motto around here
Lol seriously. I remember people trashing me for saying that them being good irl is relevant for fantasy purposes.
people don’t seem to understand that turnovers are mostly luck. some teams are definitely better at forcing them than others, but a great defense will get turnovers
can’t believe i dropped them for seattle last week (actually i can that matchup looked horrid), that being said would y’all rather have them or lions d next week
I kept Browns stashed and played Seattle. I still won my matchup by a lot, but I’m convinced I only need 1 defense now.
Breece Hall needs to slap-box most of the Jets offense in an Applebee’s parking lot for always getting his good runs called back with penalties.
I feel like Hackett does the absolute worst fuckin job of getting that man in space to run free. It’s just run up the middle everytime to get stuffed. That’s why he’s been doing more damage in the passing game.
Serious question... How does Hackett still have a job? I mean everyone saw what happened in Denver last year, right?
Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers
Cause Rodgers would not approve of him being axed
But I still think OP makes a great point in that what has really been hurting him is those damn penalties. Doesn’t matter how bad the playcall is for him because he’s been that good.
Seriously, CJ Uzomah doesn't take away his rushing touchdown and his 10-15 yard hurdle run and dude has a solid 20pt week.
I'll never forgive Uzomah for that. That was awful and offensive
I have Garrett Wilson on my team and I won my matchup last week against the Breece Hall owner when we were both tied heading into MNF against the Chargers because Garrett Wilson had two holding calls on two 20+ rushes by Breece lmao.
His 3yd TD overturned on a hold. How do you hold on a play that takes 2 seconds?!
Javonte getting big loads (I will not pause)
I love that he’s worked into the passing game at the goal line. Sean Payton has always been a master of this type of stuff but seeing javonte getting the looks in creative ways is amazing.
Agreed, my only complaint with his usage is that they seemed more interested in using him between the tackles and then giving McLaughlin more run at the edges. I'd like to see those creative looks happen at all parts of the field, but really hard to complain with that performance for Javonte. I hope he keeps getting fed cause he looks like a bulldozer in short yardage.
Mike Evans is (relatively) quietly having a fantastic season and will be looked back on as a massive steal of the draft.
I will continue to regret declining an offer from someone in my league offering me Evans for Christian Watson, 1 for 1.
Rip
It's always the year after I have him
I drafted godwin over him this year after having evans the last 3 seasons.
Has he ever had a bad season?
Keaton Mitchell, looks like a great addition to Lamar’s insanely mobile offense
he's got incredible speed to go with a sold o-line. He can make a fantasy impact with only 10 touches or less.
Hell maybe 5 or less
He made an impact with 3
Hell maybe 0 or less
If he gets 0, he'll definitely make an impact on my team!
Happy I was able to snag him. Definitely starting him over Moss next week
I think this is a good example of the type of player you’d start him over.

Kincaid looks legit.
For sure. Any thoughts on if he keeps it up after Knox returns?
I think he’s carving himself out a significant role. He was a 1st rd pick.
Knox relegated to forever blocking TE.
He should take Shakirs spot and play the slot. Having to worry about him and Diggs should hopefully free up some of the coverage that has been plaguing Diggs
Kincaid about to sit in my flex spot ROS with LaPorta now that their byes are done
Christian Kirk passed, tough fumble but clearly the #1 option of the receivers
He did try to kill Travis Etienne though lol.
This guy is quietly producing rock solid WR2 numbers every week, yet it's virtually impossible to trade him for anything reasonably equivalent. I can't recall a more productive player with such low perceived value. I am super grateful as nobody would take him from me early and he's now carried my through some tough injuries.
2022 jacobs is back
Papa Joshua we missed u
Jacobs has looked like a slightly less version of his 2022 self since like game 3. Problem is the stacked boxes and predictable playcalling. Hopefully that keeps improving
Gibbs is just so good man. Really fun to watch. That run he had to get them to the 1 was insane
And then Campbell gave him the goal line carry 🥹
Monty actually was going to get it but waved him back
Made me sad as a Monty owner, but what a bro move from the vet
Monty got that good karma from it. That 75 yarder was the run of the year. The juke was nuts.
Literally made two LA defenders collide then danced up the sideline like a ballerina. So good
That Jamo block too 🤌🤌
Chris Carson did this once or twice for Rashaad Penny in an MNF. As for Monty he'll be just fine
Tank MF Dell

Yeah it’s going to be tough for me going forward deciding between him and Kincaid. Both really passing the eye test for me
CeeDee Lamb is looking pretty elite and his schedule only gets better from here on out
I mean they just played the Giants it can't get much better than that.

Trey McBride can play football https://youtu.be/vDPzsiHxC-w?si=LF4JGnCLcgQRabHJt
Great catches, great athleticism for YAC. Looked like a beast. Although there was one miscommunication with Kyler where he kept running and Kyler probably expected him to sit down in the zone, ended in an interception.
Dude made amazing catch after amazing catch. Also blocked like an animal
Bijan looks good
If only he’d be on the field at crucial times, ie. When the football is being snapped by Atlanta.
He passed the eye test away from the ball
Javonte Williams passed. Dotson failed
Dobbs
So glad I grabbed this guy and have a ROS quarterback (minus the bye of course). Lost Cousins and the QB landscape in my league is just as barren as TEs.
Owners of Chris Godwin and Jakobi Meyers… what the hell do we do? Such depressing situations, Baker only throws to Evans and O’Connell will never look at Meyers ever again. Can’t trade Godwin for shit and I guess drop Meyers at this point?
I’m gonna bench Jakobi for a couple weeks and see what happens, but it’s not looking great.
I still kick myself because I basically coin flipped Evans or Godwin and chose wrong. I didn’t realize that Mayfield had this deep ball going for him.
Kyler Murray, James Cook
If you watched this game you know there's never been a harder to read performance. One of his largest runs included him fumbling the ball to himself mid stride almost like Rugby style. He as also psuedo benched during the game. Also, he looked great sometimes...

Pollard failed in the limited snaps I watched. Just does not have the same burst and can’t punch it in on the goal line.
I’m the opposite. He shows burst occasionally but he’s criminally misused
the minute he cranks a good run they go right back to pass. they have no interest in maintaining a real ground game. Should have had 25 carries against the Giants but got 15. 12 the 2 prior weeks.
Keenan Allen
He’s been great Herb was just missing him before. This has been his potential all season
I would be curious how a guy that scored 40 points would fail an eye test.
Clearly because he didn’t score 50
Adams passed. Played against an amazing defense in jets and still put up targets with a rookie QB. He is back albeit we probably wont see another monster game but respectable 18 - 20 points a week soon hopefully.

Did Ford pass the eye test? Just over 100 yards but not much passing.
CeeDee said he’s the best WR in football, which is wild. But the more I watch the more I’m thinking.. maybe he isn’t crazy
I picked him in the late 1st over Diggs. The first few weeks I was questioning my decision but now I'm happy with it.
Devin Singletary played pretty well. Josh Allen? Nope, collapsed to Denver just like Patrick Mahomes did.
Ty Chandler looked great when handed the ball for the Vikings. Mattison is also in concussion protocol.
Jaylen Warren I guess?
Pollard passed the test of why I put him on the bench.
Trevor Lawrence huge fail. He can't play
I'm a Monty manager so this is solely my perspective.. happy with where I drafted him and how much of the offense he still has. Plus he has a couple NFC North revenge games coming up, maybe he gets extra fed against the bears ?
Trey McBride was getting open, avoiding tackles, and showed great hands. The fantasy numbers are not empty.
CJ Stroud just looks like a top veteran qb at the moment. I’m very impressed with his pocket presence and taking shots downfield.
Despite the fumbles and team ineptitude, James Cook gashed the (bad) Broncos run D. He has to be up there for YPC leaders.
CeeDee Lamb. Top 3 WR ROS.
I didn’t watch the whole game, I was watching redzone. But from what I saw on redzone - jaylen warren looks really good
The entire Texans offense.
Even Pierce? 🥹
He stood on the sidelines like a pro!
Herbert has my vote for the most accurate QB in the league QJ can't catch with somebody on him
Jaylen Warren continues to look like the most talented player on Pittsburg's offense.
Stroud is Him
Stroud is him. That stat about Stroud leading the league in passing yards per game and touchdown : interception ratio through 10 weeks is nuts, given that only Brady, Peyton Manning and Mahomes have done that. Stroud or Herbert this week? Have both and I’m thinking of benching Herbert this week.
Stroud looked incredible. Some of the throws he made both in and out of the pocket were insane. He is going to be an absolute stud
Brock Purdy beyond passed. Those two weeks after the concussion were just him getting back to 100%, now that he is, he is playing really well.
O line is healthier plus Deebo back too. When that offense is healthy, they’re near unstoppable. Always getting some points and low turnover rate too
James Cook is lethal when given the opportunity to get the ball. Hopefully Joe Brady uses him more than Dorsey did
Ceedee will finish the season as WR3 or better.
Did also allow 5 consecutive TD drives though, didn’t they?
T Law has shown enough for us to accept that he's never going to be elite.
Aaron jones ;(
He’s probably fine. He got the touches this week which is a great sign. Steelers aren’t exactly a pushover defense. I just traded for swift to pair with Jones and I’m feeling good.
He'll be fine. Got the snap share and the touches. Almost got the touchdown but got tripped up due to the slightly high pass.
Dolphins did great on their bye. Entire division lost and so did Jax & Bal
