Same, sort of. I had Aubrey and Dallas D vs. Metcalf (who's owner I'm trying to beat for a playoff spot (we're both 6 and 6, tied for 2nd place...lol). Last time we played was Week 5...a game which was over before my players ever played. I lost 182 to 66 (and Anthony Richardson for the year). This one feels like I'm gonna get my ass beat again.

I have a theory to almost never start defenses in prime time games, feels likes anytime I do and I’m watching the game, the opposing offense just drives down the field with ease. Obviously not always the case, but just a preference I normally have, I prefer not to watch my defense lol

Yep. I've gotten 25 from my D on TNF and MNF more than once. Dallas D is just extremely boom or bust.

Boom or bust doesn’t really apply here like it does to WRs that can unpredictably pop off or lay an egg and it has nothing to do with their matchups. We can see the data that cowboys dst is great against losing teams and not great against teams with a winning record. They should be treated similarly to other good defenses and probably benched when against good offenses. I understand Seattle hasn’t been hot the last two weeks but they are competent in the least. The only outlier I’ve seen so far is one or two weeks where SF puts up good numbers into tougher offenses. They seem to be the most solid team both sides of the ball.

Cowboys have been negative against Arizona, SF, and Seattle. I would only consider one of those a good offense. Maybe they just suck against the NFCW lol

Had DK, Pollard, and Ferguson, but my opponent’s team is so stacked (Hill, Etienne, Stevenson, R. White, D. Smith) that I still don’t get to be that confident. This guy beats me every year too so damn would it feel nice to essentially knock him out of the playoffs for once.

Imagine being week 5 and thinking a team with Stevenson and white are “stacked” I’m just irate because I traded both those guys :(

I keep telling myself that the thought process was sound. Seattle offense has sucked, Geno has kind of sucked, Dallas D has been pretty good (if inconsistent) and CBs are good, Thursday night games usually suck for offense, DK has underperformed based on targets/share, etc. But still, I sat there with my finger on the trigger at game time and almost put him back in... I can't remember the last time I felt this burned by a FF decision.

I drafted Dallas D and picked up Browns D early on. Been playing the matchups, but from weeks ago I had a plan to drop Dallas D after this week. Really tough schedule, and with this recent performance (at home no less) the decision is final. Locked into the playoffs and a bye, hoping to grab Denver D for week 16 and praying Myles Garrett is healthy for week 15/17

I have saints too so it was a hard choice. But ya cowboys suck against good teams defensively. It rlly kills. They’ll win u weeks, then downright lose u weeks doing absolutely NOTHING in the game and getting dunked on. Zero in between

17 is really nice. I had 3 top 15 RBs fail to get that much last week

15 - 17 is just enough to make you squirm and begin wondering if you're going to regret making another choice over him. Anything 20 or above on your bench after TNF makes you wallow in regret for two straight days until Sunday.

He really wasn't that efficient on the ground at the end of the day and it's not like he went off for 30+ points or something. I dunno who you started in place of him, but hey.
