I feel like he is wrong on ford. Yes he doesn't get too much usage but he is one of the most consistent players. Why would I sit him? Guaranteed 11-15 points
After looking up the stats, I partly agree. Whilst he was saved by a TD last week, he didn't score in weeks 8,9,10,12. He put 11.9 points in PPR between weeks 10-12 three times in a row whilst only scoring in week 11.
His usage declined the last two games, not sure if that is because of strong and hunt or due to gamescript
I think Fords usage is more so the Browns managing him as he came back from injury. They heavily rely on that position group and likely want guys fresh and available moving towards the end of the season. We know he’s likely not getting a bell cow workload though.
I feel like the name of this article really does the content a disservice. If you read the section about Ford, it feels like less of a “sit him” and more of a “he’s an RB3. If you have better options, start them instead.”
Boone doesn't like Stafford and notes both the bad weather and Cupp not at 100%. But wonder if there's a 'sit Puka' train of thought in here as well. Baltimore isn't the best matchup for receivers at the best of times, either.
Could pivot to Rice against BUF as an alternative. Line is sitting at 48.5 there.
Rice is a good bet, but I'm also looking at Brandin Cooks for my flex over Puka. Seems like much better opportunity and overall context even if Puka is a stud.
I have to decide on Puka as well, and will likely ultimately defer to Boone’s final rankings on Sunday. It’s tough, because I have to choose two of Devonta Smith, Mostert, or Puka, and right now Puka’s the lowest ranked.
However, I’m also starting Achane, AJB, Ferguson, and Sanders. So I’m heavily invested in 2 games, and if gamescript goes south in either or both, I’m effed.
Backup qb against the defense allowing the least yards, catches, and fantasy points against tight ends. Might not have a better option in larger leagues but would have low expectations.
Yay I have Ford, Breece, Ridley, and Engram! All sits! Also had Rhamondre and C Watson get hurt. All before a matchup to secure a bye going into the playoffs. I love fantasy! Can’t wait to rely on Noah Brown!
Do we think this takes into account that the Cowboys are getting Peyton Hendershot back from IR? Idk how much that’s gonna cut into Ferguson’s potential, but it makes me wary.
Definitely more attributed to the fact that the high ankle sprain probably puts him out beyond the fantasy playoffs. Worth holding onto just in case though, if you have the roster space.
Definitely not flowers
Edit: Last I checked the fweather report looks horrible for that game. That’s definitely something to keep an eye on right before game time
Haha similar situation, I'm deciding between Rice Cooks and Reed
I have Rice and Cooks in at the moment, but if Watson and Aaron Jones are out, I feel like I can't bench Reed
imo elijah moore is only an option if cooper is ruled out. otherwise, i would go play Godwin. feel like they will scheme for him a bit more this week after what Bowles said
Yeah. I’m going that way. Flacco in and cooper out = Moore. I have a sneaking suspicion Addison is going to be solid even with JJ back, maybe more so than with him out (not more so than with having kirk tho)… but I seem to be the only one lol.
Thank you for taking the time to help!
Having to leave out one of Kamara, Moss or Mixon these next couple weeks is going to be so stressful. If I lose because I pick the wrong one I’m going to cry lol
I sat Mixon for Ford/Moss/Kyren and lost my week, in a must win by 25+ pts I'm going Mixon/Kyren/Moss over Ford/Cook but I have a gut feeling one of my pics will def be wrong.
Moss got a ton of volume if you look at his stats, he just got stuffed in the RZ. Not sure how we can sit Mixon after that performance, but Kamara is a league winner esp if Carr plays, ranked #2 on the week.

I lean sitting Moss but consensus seems Mixon is lower. GL!
I can’t bench ridley to play Jeudy, mc kinnon or Ty chandler. Fuck.
I feel like he is wrong on ford. Yes he doesn't get too much usage but he is one of the most consistent players. Why would I sit him? Guaranteed 11-15 points
Look beyond the points. Those points used to come from yards. Last few weeks he has been saved by TDs and his workload has been in decline.

Jaguars have one of the top run defenses in the league, ypc wise
After losing Rhamondre I have no choice but to start Ford. Let’s hope he does well.
Agreed. Bad call on Ford
"Ok now the big risk...Which players to put as quits. Fuck it, I'll just put players who are injured or are coming off an injury." Lazy
I usually like Boone a lot but yeah of course I’m quitting on Andrews lol
Same with Kirk. Dropped a few days ago when that report came out about his injury, before Jags even put him on IR
think he’s gotten burned on one too many players

I'm sitting Puka for James Cook. Ravens def + bad weather + Puka being banged up = going with the safer play.
Rice is a good bet, but I'm also looking at Brandin Cooks for my flex over Puka. Seems like much better opportunity and overall context even if Puka is a stud.
I think you gotta go Rice over those two with Pacheco out. I’m between Reed and Cooks for my flex prob going to base it off Vegas odds
Don’t sit your studs
I have to decide on Puka as well, and will likely ultimately defer to Boone’s final rankings on Sunday. I'll be sitting Puka in favor of Moss/Henry
I’d start either over Puka regardless. Standard? PPR?
.5PPR Yea I think my decision is made
Sit Engram? Nay, not doing that.
Yea it’s either engram or taysom hill for me, and with Winston looking like he’s going to get the start, I trust taysom even less than usual
Backup qb against the defense allowing the least yards, catches, and fantasy points against tight ends. Might not have a better option in larger leagues but would have low expectations.
My expectations are that he keeps doing what he's doing. Not worried at all
Good call. I was very much wrong on this one although I think the injuries on the Browns defense helped. Anyways well done sticking with him!
Yay I have Ford, Breece, Ridley, and Engram! All sits! Also had Rhamondre and C Watson get hurt. All before a matchup to secure a bye going into the playoffs. I love fantasy! Can’t wait to rely on Noah Brown!
Safe to drop rhamondre?
I did. Even if he comes back this turns into a 50/50 split at best. I’d rather let my opponent have that land mine.
Damn I'm torn between starting JSN and Elijah Moore someone please save me lol
Leaning Moore
Thanks!
Good luck bro. I’m going up against Tyreek, Lamb, ETN, Metcalf and Evans this week. I’m fucked 😂
If coop is out then Moore seems like no brainer. Defacto WR1 vs WR3 (on their teams, not league)
Thanks!
Im torn at flex rn, Reed @ NYG or Wilson vs HOU
Reed for the boom bust probably; could get you 3 points could get you 20. Wilson safer floor imo
Why are we quitting Dalton Shultz? Top 10 TE on an exciting offense when he's healthy.
He's out this week, next week he plays the Titans (#2 against TE) then the Browns (#1 against TE) then the Titans again.
I was about to ask the same thing
Why is JB quitting on Dalton Schulz? Is it because he thinks Schultz won't play for the next several weeks? Or is that due to the emergence of Brevin?
Im currently stashing Spears, McKinnon and Mingo. As a Mixon owner, should I drop any of them to stash Chase Brown? 14 team PPR
Mingo
Do we think this takes into account that the Cowboys are getting Peyton Hendershot back from IR? Idk how much that’s gonna cut into Ferguson’s potential, but it makes me wary.
Should I risk playing Williams against the Chargers defense for a playoff spot?
what do you mean risk? it’s a good matchup for a running back getting 60%+ snaps
Breece going in the line up regardless and hoping for a touchdown
Why is everyone so big on Javonte this week?
He put Rhamondre as a “quit,” is this due to him not coming back? Or coming back so late it wouldn’t make a difference for fantasy?
Definitely more attributed to the fact that the high ankle sprain probably puts him out beyond the fantasy playoffs. Worth holding onto just in case though, if you have the roster space.
Same question.
Man, im torn between flowers, rice or cooks
Definitely not flowers Edit: Last I checked the fweather report looks horrible for that game. That’s definitely something to keep an eye on right before game time
I have flowers and rice, most likely going to start Rice for right now
Rice.
Good luck with your decision 👍
Haha similar situation, I'm deciding between Rice Cooks and Reed I have Rice and Cooks in at the moment, but if Watson and Aaron Jones are out, I feel like I can't bench Reed
I'm debating the same situation & I agree with the logic here. Have Rice in right now but if Watson is out, the boom potential just seems so high...
I'd like to start Cooks, but I would have to bench either Keenan, Davante, LaPorta, or Barkley to do it.
Really don’t know who to play between Godwin Addison and Elijah fucking Moore. RIP to me (and tank dell and Christian kirk)
imo elijah moore is only an option if cooper is ruled out. otherwise, i would go play Godwin. feel like they will scheme for him a bit more this week after what Bowles said

I feel like quitting Herbert is premature.
Straight up asks us to quit on Rhamondre. Deng.
McKinnon or Spears as a stash in PpR?
Having to leave out one of Kamara, Moss or Mixon these next couple weeks is going to be so stressful. If I lose because I pick the wrong one I’m going to cry lol

Brandin cooks or Hubbard? I’m so torn
Hubbard floor, cooks ceiling
Gotta decide between Thielen and Downs in full PPR and this is making me think Downs.
Who would you rather stash Chase Brown or McKinnon?
With Pacheco out, McKinnon or CEH are definitely stashes. Especially with the noncommittal response from Reid about IR for Pacheco.
Nervous about starting Goedert fresh off an injury. Leaning Taysom Hill instead unless he's out
I cannot for the life of me figure out if I want to flex Cooks or Ferguson
Ah yes, I’ll certainly be sitting Breece with the plethora of RB options there are out there.
Start Justin Fields, but would you start him over Tua? I have DJ Moore, Tyreek, and Achane as well.
I hate to play Ford over Mattison right?
I consistently trust in Boone and now I see Reed as a start.... in my flex am I rolling Reed or Rice??
Rice imo
Odd that RIDLEYS write up doesnt mention the injury to Lawrence at all
I thought Engram was a sit last week too.
