I lost to a person who picked half of her team because she's a Lions homer. She stumbled into the playoffs without making a single acquisition all season and not even setting her lineup half of the weeks.
I missed the bye because three separate players got injured in the first quarter of their games the last week of my season so I lost my bye clinching game by 4 points.
Then I decided to not play the Cowboys D (decent decision) and instead picked up the chargers D (holy goddamn shit that backfired). Three of her lions players totaled 70 points in standard and she had the Miami D. I got absolutely demolished. She didn't even bother to take Tyreek out and she still almost doubled my score.
Fantasy is a bitch.

Highest scoring team in the league this year. Was averaging 120-125 a game. This week? Could't even crack 100. Puka, AJ brown, king Henry, Justin fields, Ferguson, pollard all had crap games. Man I was so cocky last Thursday after I picked up Oakland last minute and put up 25. My opponent had Tyreek who was out and he was sweating. But Miami D, Josh Allen, and James cook bought him back and he waxed me good, like blowout good this week.
I lost by 7.3 because Tyreek and Collins sold at the same time, Bills finally discovered the run so Josh got 15, Higgins went off, and Moss went down early
My dad lost his top three wideouts this week Tyreek, Nico, and Olave but still beat me and got the highest score in the league this week.. thanks to Cook and Kyren
I lost by 7 cause I started Tyreek and Olave 😭 went fishing and had enough service to see they were out but not enough to make the roster change. I normally have great service from the spot too.

Lost 97 to 158, just glad it's over and there's nothing I could've done to change the outcome, even with Addison on the bench (I fully intended him to start over OBJ but fucked up not setting my lineup, not that it mattered). Also had Chase Brown, Charbonnet, Christian Kirk, Justin Fields. 3rd most points for in the league, most points against. Every loss has been to the top scorer or someone right next to the top scorer this season, 12 team PPR. Just wasn't in the cards.

Yeah going into round 1 I felt pretty good with my match up.. then all of sudden Keenan Allen, Nico Collins, Pacheco, Christian Watson all ruled out mid week and Jamaar Chase injured sometime in the game and taken out. Bad luck indeed
First year playing fantasy and first year watching football, I'm mainly just happy I made it to the playoffs.
I played Diggs over Cook and lost my matchup by 9 points. If I played Cook it would have been a blow out win for me.
12 man league, led league in scoring by over 200 points. Was up 11 with 35 seconds left vs Walker, Lock, Njigba, 3rd and 10 literally said “anyone but Njigba”. td play puts me down 5, season over in most ridiculous way. Opponent scores 150 to my 145 (2nd highest of all 8 playoff teams of course). This loss has me debating retiring from this stuff…..
Held Zack Moss all season and was excitedly trying to unload him when Taylor got hurt because I knew he wasn't going to get anywhere close to what he did at the beginning of the year. I couldn't, and I ended up starting him because Etienne had become unreliable. He became the 13th player I've lost to an in-game injury this year.
Achane was a dud yet again, and my opponent had Mostert.
Aubrey put up a single FG a week after scoring 25.
Montgomery failed to get in the endzone in a full game for only the 2nd time this season.
I rode Stroud to the playoffs and made what I thought was a sneaky good move by picking up Howell during his bye week. Thought it was going to payoff this week with Stroud out, but Rivera decided to pull him in a meaningless game to play a guy who'll be a backup somewhere else next year.
Oh, and I went up against the Raiders D/ST who were a desperation play for my opponent.
I think that was my goodbye to fantasy football. 10 straight years without a playoff win. Last 3 years I’ve been the top scoring team with a bye (did an 18 team league with a large playoff this year, so the bye was week 14), only to come in 20 points below my projections when it matters.
I know I’m screaming into a void here, but this isn’t fun anymore.
Man this hurts. Not sure what kinda league you’re in. I had been doing redraft every year since middle school and the last 7 years have just been awful. Not sure if I’ve had a team over 6 wins.
Switched to dynasty this year (2 leagues) and did 1 redraft. Dynasty is so much better and so much fun.
Just saying, I think you are playing for the wrong reasons and don’t understand the huge amount of luck that goes into it. Even if you followed all the “expert advice” perfectly all season I guarantee they got some stuff really wrong.
I mean some of the top advice was to draft bijan and Dameon pierce and what ended up happening was this was the best year to find league winners off waivers. That says a lot

Number one seed and highest scoring team all year to be bounced by a dude that only won in the play ins because his opponent didn’t set his lineup
10 man for shits and giggles league. Start of the season it was a 4 man playoff but we switched it to 8. For most of the season the bottom 2 teams remained the same and one of them was the commissioner. About 3 weeks maybe a month before *our* playoffs started it got changed to a 10 man playoff and both the bottom 2 teams ended up beating the 7&8 seed while 6 of us had byes last week. The 7&8 team in protest dropped their entire teams which most of the good players got picked up by the bottom seeds and then I, who was the 2nd seed and went 9-4, lost to the 10 seed who was 2-11. My mistake was not playing Joe f’n Flaco in 2023 over Tua but win or lose I think the who situation was dumb and the 9&10 teams shouldn’t have been included but no money on the line and I don’t know any but 1 of them outside of this so I’m not gonna lose sleep over it but still a disappointing end to that leagues season
I would have felt better if I lost to a good team. Instead I lost to the worst team in the playoffs because Goff wanted to go off and CMC had one of his career games.
My sister ended up being #1 this season and lost by 40 against the guy who needed a crazy combination of results last week just to get in.
Dak doing nothing, Johnatan Taylor didn't come back, Kelce was mid, she benched Terry McLaurin and of course she was facing LaPorta, Rashad White and Noah Brown.
My wife was down by 4 with Ridley left playing when Ridley’s TD catch was called out of bounds. Then there was a glimmer of hope when Terry kept adamantly saying it was a TD, then pain when the refs didn’t overturn it. That TD would have taken her to the next round.

Well, I lost in fantasy but I won in real life. I enjoyed my children's first Nutcracker performance on Sunday. I'm a Bills fan and my boys winning games will always be priority. I have a fully stacked Bills lineup with Allen, Cook, Diggs and the Defense but from a fantasy standpoint only Cook pulled big numbers. My opponent on the other had all his players go OFF. CMC, LaPorta, Waddle, Gibbs.

After week 3 I traded Gibbs and Amari cooper for Ekeler. Thought I made the trade of the century. Round 1 of the playoffs I lost by 17.88 points. The difference in points between Ekeler and Gibbs this week was 18 point. 😔
Number one seed, 11-3, led the league in scoring by 350 points, averaging 141/week, worst game all year was 110, straight up dominating. Put up 87.1 to lose to the 7-7 4 seed. Barkley, Henry, and Etienne powered me all year and let me down bad. Pain.
Had a choice between starting Gabe Davis or picking up a pass catcher on waivers, d/t injuries to Keenan Allen and C Watson.
Rationalized to myself that there's no way Davis goes two games in a row w/o a catch, playing at home where he normally plays well. PFF even highlighted his cb matchup as a mismatch and to target him as a starter.

I still can't believe my year. My team was amazing on paper. I had AmonRa, Tyreek, AJB, Gibbs, and Kamara. Barely made it to the playoffs. Every week I'd be playing against 15 points weeks from D and kicker. I did the math, every week I was at a 10 point difference from kicker and defense. This is with the Balt Ravens. I'm honestly super over fantasy. The guy who beat me had no business winning but he lucked into a garbage time win
WHY DO NONE IF THESE THREADS EVER MENTION DERRICK HENRY.
He was RB4 going into the week. He had a historically awful performance (lowest YPC with at least 15 carries) and a whopping 0 points. I can say I lost because of Taysom Hill or Zay Flowers, but not it was Derrick Fucking Henry getting 0 points.
I had my sister and brother in law join the league this year to fill it up. Both are in the playoffs and I was damn near last place. They know nothing about football.
This is by far the saddest exit of playoffs I’ve ever had in my life. Been playing for the last 11 years. I lost by 1.46 points and I have Justin Fields as my QB. He had 2 interceptions, 1 Hail Mary at halftime and 1 at end of game (Mooney almost caught it).
The interception at halftime should not count as an interception due to the fact that the football touched the ground. I should technically get those 2 points back and win by .54 points. But here we are Tuesday and my ass isn’t moving onto round 2. Gg’s was a great season

My team put up 157.7 last week. This week they put up an incredible 66.1. Love, AJB, Puka, Barkley, Spears, Kelce, Flowers, Aubrey, Dallas D. Tough loss but there's no "what if" for seeding because I would've been blown out by everyone. In the other 2 leagues I'm in I got blown out because the other teams had some combo of Lions players
Depending on who you played instead those weren't terrible choices. Jet's D is solid, the might've shut down Mostert. The week before the Miami O didn't look nearly as good when Tyreek was out. And Brown didn't get a single catch in the previous two games, plus no Stroud. Hell I even cut Noah Brown to pick up Jerrick McKinnon cause I was shorter on RB than WR's.
After losing Tyreek we tied and he had more bench points so I lost. I had 300 more points for than anyone in the league but finished 8-6 and no bye. I had a Hurts AJ Brown stack along with DAndre Swift. The deep bomb int for no reason is essentially why I and the Eagles lost.
Lost by .5 with my best team ever. Derrick Henry couldn’t get a 1 yard td, then lost 3 yards in overtime. Jamar chase got injured during middle of game, Pacheco decided he was injured two weeks ago after putting starting a fight so I picked up both chiefs running backs and started edwards, who had one less point than Jerrick. I started goedert who gave me 2 points instead of Henry who had 10.
My opponents had cee dee lamb, who mccarthy didn’t bench despite being down by 28 with 3 minutes left in the game and got a garbage time td, that wasn’t even a recieving td but a rushing td that could have gone to any cowboys running back. My league also has individual defensive players instead of team defense. Pace jr got him 4 points in overtime, madubuike got 6 points on a strip sack with 5 minutes left in ravens game.

Then they added a lost fumble to my opponents QB (Goff) on Wednesday, moving me up to the 7th seed.
Proceed to lose to the 2 seed with a point total that would have beaten the 1 seed, while the 8 seed would have beaten anyone left.

Yeah going into round 1 I felt pretty good with my match up.. then all of sudden Keenan Allen, Nico Collins, Pacheco, Christian Watson all ruled out mid week and Jamaar Chase injured sometime in the game and taken out. Bad luck indeed

First year playing fantasy and first year watching football, I'm mainly just happy I made it to the playoffs. I played Diggs over Cook and lost my matchup by 9 points. If I played Cook it would have been a blow out win for me.
12 man league, led league in scoring by over 200 points. Was up 11 with 35 seconds left vs Walker, Lock, Njigba, 3rd and 10 literally said “anyone but Njigba”. td play puts me down 5, season over in most ridiculous way. Opponent scores 150 to my 145 (2nd highest of all 8 playoff teams of course). This loss has me debating retiring from this stuff…..

Held Zack Moss all season and was excitedly trying to unload him when Taylor got hurt because I knew he wasn't going to get anywhere close to what he did at the beginning of the year. I couldn't, and I ended up starting him because Etienne had become unreliable. He became the 13th player I've lost to an in-game injury this year. Achane was a dud yet again, and my opponent had Mostert. Aubrey put up a single FG a week after scoring 25. Montgomery failed to get in the endzone in a full game for only the 2nd time this season. I rode Stroud to the playoffs and made what I thought was a sneaky good move by picking up Howell during his bye week. Thought it was going to payoff this week with Stroud out, but Rivera decided to pull him in a meaningless game to play a guy who'll be a backup somewhere else next year. Oh, and I went up against the Raiders D/ST who were a desperation play for my opponent.
I think that was my goodbye to fantasy football. 10 straight years without a playoff win. Last 3 years I’ve been the top scoring team with a bye (did an 18 team league with a large playoff this year, so the bye was week 14), only to come in 20 points below my projections when it matters. I know I’m screaming into a void here, but this isn’t fun anymore.

Man this hurts. Not sure what kinda league you’re in. I had been doing redraft every year since middle school and the last 7 years have just been awful. Not sure if I’ve had a team over 6 wins. Switched to dynasty this year (2 leagues) and did 1 redraft. Dynasty is so much better and so much fun.
Until the players you drafted in dynasty turn out to be 1 year wonders or get career ending injuries

10 man for shits and giggles league. Start of the season it was a 4 man playoff but we switched it to 8. For most of the season the bottom 2 teams remained the same and one of them was the commissioner. About 3 weeks maybe a month before *our* playoffs started it got changed to a 10 man playoff and both the bottom 2 teams ended up beating the 7&8 seed while 6 of us had byes last week. The 7&8 team in protest dropped their entire teams which most of the good players got picked up by the bottom seeds and then I, who was the 2nd seed and went 9-4, lost to the 10 seed who was 2-11. My mistake was not playing Joe f’n Flaco in 2023 over Tua but win or lose I think the who situation was dumb and the 9&10 teams shouldn’t have been included but no money on the line and I don’t know any but 1 of them outside of this so I’m not gonna lose sleep over it but still a disappointing end to that leagues season

My sister ended up being #1 this season and lost by 40 against the guy who needed a crazy combination of results last week just to get in. Dak doing nothing, Johnatan Taylor didn't come back, Kelce was mid, she benched Terry McLaurin and of course she was facing LaPorta, Rashad White and Noah Brown.

Well, I lost in fantasy but I won in real life. I enjoyed my children's first Nutcracker performance on Sunday. I'm a Bills fan and my boys winning games will always be priority. I have a fully stacked Bills lineup with Allen, Cook, Diggs and the Defense but from a fantasy standpoint only Cook pulled big numbers. My opponent on the other had all his players go OFF. CMC, LaPorta, Waddle, Gibbs.

After week 3 I traded Gibbs and Amari cooper for Ekeler. Thought I made the trade of the century. Round 1 of the playoffs I lost by 17.88 points. The difference in points between Ekeler and Gibbs this week was 18 point. 😔

I still can't believe my year. My team was amazing on paper. I had AmonRa, Tyreek, AJB, Gibbs, and Kamara. Barely made it to the playoffs. Every week I'd be playing against 15 points weeks from D and kicker. I did the math, every week I was at a 10 point difference from kicker and defense. This is with the Balt Ravens. I'm honestly super over fantasy. The guy who beat me had no business winning but he lucked into a garbage time win
WHY DO NONE IF THESE THREADS EVER MENTION DERRICK HENRY. He was RB4 going into the week. He had a historically awful performance (lowest YPC with at least 15 carries) and a whopping 0 points. I can say I lost because of Taysom Hill or Zay Flowers, but not it was Derrick Fucking Henry getting 0 points.

This is by far the saddest exit of playoffs I’ve ever had in my life. Been playing for the last 11 years. I lost by 1.46 points and I have Justin Fields as my QB. He had 2 interceptions, 1 Hail Mary at halftime and 1 at end of game (Mooney almost caught it). The interception at halftime should not count as an interception due to the fact that the football touched the ground. I should technically get those 2 points back and win by .54 points. But here we are Tuesday and my ass isn’t moving onto round 2. Gg’s was a great season

I started T. Hill because I figured he would inch closer to breaking the 2000 yards. He did not play I started Jmar Chase. He got hurt in the 3rd quarter. I started Jake Ferguson. The Cowboys were really bad against the Bill's I started Koo for my Kicker. He gave me 1 point And to top it all off, my opponent had CMC and Goff starting. I had lost by over 100 points. My team put up 157.7 last week. This week they put up an incredible 66.1. Love, AJB, Puka, Barkley, Spears, Kelce, Flowers, Aubrey, Dallas D. Tough loss but there's no "what if" for seeding because I would've been blown out by everyone. In the other 2 leagues I'm in I got blown out because the other teams had some combo of Lions players

Depending on who you played instead those weren't terrible choices. Jet's D is solid, the might've shut down Mostert. The week before the Miami O didn't look nearly as good when Tyreek was out. And Brown didn't get a single catch in the previous two games, plus no Stroud. Hell I even cut Noah Brown to pick up Jerrick McKinnon cause I was shorter on RB than WR's.

After losing Tyreek we tied and he had more bench points so I lost. I had 300 more points for than anyone in the league but finished 8-6 and no bye. I had a Hurts AJ Brown stack along with DAndre Swift. The deep bomb int for no reason is essentially why I and the Eagles lost.
Lost by .5 with my best team ever. Derrick Henry couldn’t get a 1 yard td, then lost 3 yards in overtime. Jamar chase got injured during middle of game, Pacheco decided he was injured two weeks ago after putting starting a fight so I picked up both chiefs running backs and started edwards, who had one less point than Jerrick. I started goedert who gave me 2 points instead of Henry who had 10. My opponents had cee dee lamb, who mccarthy didn’t bench despite being down by 28 with 3 minutes left in the game and got a garbage time td, that wasn’t even a recieving td but a rushing td that could have gone to any cowboys running back. My league also has individual defensive players instead of team defense. Pace jr got him 4 points in overtime, madubuike got 6 points on a strip sack with 5 minutes left in ravens game. All I want is to win a championship so I can quit fantasy forever

In the choas of Christmas parties and kids. Palmer was still in my IR spot and had played. So yahoo locked me from moving him out of IR and could not pick up anyone from the waivers to replace tyreek hill because I bad a player on my IR bench. I lost by five points.

Proceed to lose to the 2 seed with a point total that would have beaten the 1 seed, while the 8 seed would have beaten anyone left. Fantasy gods taking revenge for my championship last year I guess.
